“The Stones' marvellous drummer Charlie Watts is a lovely, gentle guy who dressed like a Beau Brummel dandy. His waist was as small and elegant as his style icon Fred Astaire's and he had the shoes to match his outfits; handmade by Hobbs and beautifully polished. He travelled with a standing Louis Vuitton trunk, which he never unpacked, he just opened it and made sure the hangers were evenly spaced.

He came to stay with us once, for a week. He followed me around the house talking to me while I folded clothes from the dryer. He kept putting everything straight - the pictures and the books and the nick-nacks.

Unlike the others, who found it hard to settle down, Charlie had married his wife Shirley in 1964, before the band got famous, and they are still together. He was always loyal to her and she was sweet and beautiful and elegant.

Charlie was often the wise, calm, cool-headed one who would turn up on time and sit for hours with his drumsticks, twirling them and keeping his fingers and wrists nimble, waiting for everyone else to get it together. Lucifer who had been waiting for him by the door: Charlie has activities usually, and is more then willing to talk to residents about their feelings and how they ended up in hell so that’s like therapy. I’m surprised you know about that, has heaven finally implemented it?

Adam, grumbling: No Heaven doesn’t fucking have therapy, but for the last ten years the newer winners have been asking why and the older angels had to find out what the fuck it is

Lucifer, humming: I do have to wonder how all the therapists up there don’t fall from utter frustration

Charlie, watching them come down the stairs excitedly: Hi Dad! Hi Adam! I’m so excited you came down. How are you feeling today, do you think you might be up for an activity? Or ooh, I never got to show you around the whole hotel just to your room. Whatever you feel like! Adam, stepping back: I knew she was excited during the meeting but Is she always this fucking cheery? It’s like Emily has a long lost twin from Hell

Angel Dust, from the bar: It’s the new resident joy, you’ll get used to it lambchop!

Husk, snorting: You act like you don’t adore that girl

Vaggie, walking up to them with her spear: Good, because todays activity is Alastor’s idea and I don’t trust him not to ‘accidentally’ scar you emotionally instead

Vaggie, vaguely remembering the angel: Do you mean….the Mike who was your bosses boss, the one who came around and inspected the exterminator’s once every ten years. That Mike?

Vaggie, her cheek twitching in anger: The ARCHANGEL MICHAEL?

Lucifer, laughing: Nothing can

Charlie, smacking her head: Awful uncle Mike! Dad told me about him, don’t worry Adam Alastor is nothing like him. The smile is just….a tool for him? It’s harmless

Adam, rolling his eyes: The bartender just looked at you like you lied to gods face and then fucking spat on it, but whatever. I’ll do the activities and shit, later, but only ones you’re in charge of- why does your face look like that?

Charlie singing to Vaggie, after grabbing a confused Adam’s elbow and happily dragging him on the tour: He trusts meeeee!

Adam, flushing: ONLY MORE THEN THAT FUCKING DEER!

okay but you see sam has ALSO fallen for dean's act. sam also believes dean to be the macho, daddy's soldier, beer boobs cars guy he presents himself as. this is why sam makes fun of dean whenever he even lightly steps out of that mold and thinks it's harmless banter instead of attacking an insecurity. it's why he laughs when john talks down to dean in the early seasons and it's why he seems surprised when dean is more comfortable with himself in the later seasons. it's why he just scoffs but doesn't push it when dean puts up a front and refuses to talk about his emotions and just accepts whatever excuse he makes at face value. it's why he offers dean a strip club to make him feel better when cas dies. and this isn't his fault!! dean has spent a very long time perfecting this image in front of everyone and ESPECIALLY to sam because along with it comes safety and security and stability and the only person. who has consistently been able to see through it. is castiel

#charlie also a bit bc dean doesn't have to be desirable to her as a man or as a son #altho i would argue that she doesn't see through him he just doesn't perform as much for her. cas actively sees through it #this is why sam has never caught on to dean being queer also. btw. dean isn't closeted he's just never made a big deal of telling sam #you never really know your parents just the version of them they want you to see etc etc #anyway this is also why sam is thought to be More Sensitive in comparison #by people who have also fallen for the Act. i call this the General Audience Dean Act #because it was who he was SUPPOSED to be from kripke's pen until jensen went ummmmm no. he has trauma :) and forcibly gave him layers #this is also not samcrit btw i always need to clarify that #i am bad at sam studies but i think you could also write posts (and ppl have) about how dean doesn't truly know sam either #bc he has Little Baby Brother zoned him forever even though he is almost 40 by the end of s15

IF YOU WANT TO SEE THE MARIO MOVIE!

- Jack Black’s Bowser is as amazing as you think he’ll be

- Chris Pratt’s Mario is good. Not GREAT, but he does actually put effort into it and it didn’t kill the movie as much as I thought it would.

- The animation is gorgeous. Like, seriously. The action was fun and bouncy, the settings were the perfect blend of silly cartoon and legitimately pretty, and the animation of the power-up was especially fun.

- Don’t expect a super complex story. It is Mario at the end of the day.

- There are a lot of fun easter eggs regarding classic Nintendo games, especially classic Mario games.

- Don’t get your hopes up for Wario, Waluigi, Daisy, or Rosalina; There are cameos for Pauline and the Yoshis though!

- The music is awesome. Like, it’s reimagining’s of classic Mario soundtracks as cinematic music and its really a ton of fun!

- All in all, a good movie. Above all else its just FUN. I definitely recommend it, at the very least for the eyecandy and music.

- You WILL be disappointed how little Luigi is in the movie

- They make Luigi the most likeable little guy and BARELY USE HIM

- Guys you dont understand LUIGI’S MOM IS PROUD OF HIM :( Why do they not use him more

- There needs to be a Luigi’s Mansion movie let him be the main character or else
