I did not remember that the "If it means losing you, then no" conversation was literally Andrew and Neil's first conversation since Andrew got sober. Imagine you're out of your mind drugged up and there's one guy that won't stop catching your interest. Whatever, once you get clean he'll go back to being boring. Except. As soon as you get back, he says he spent two weeks being abused in a hell-hole that wouldn't even let him see the sun. And you tell him to stand down, but what does he say? "If it means losing you, then no." You're next course of action is to throw his keys off the roof and be done with him. But when he gets his keys, he looks back up at you and takes a drag from you're discarded cigarette and gives you a two-fingered salute. And to top it all off he's been claiming he doesn't swing for anyone all semester. Andrew was seriously doomed from the beginning.
