Cheese & Charcuterie Board (shared), Allsopp’s House Salad, Redfish, Dark Chocolate Flourless Cake. Dry Aged Pork Chop. Allsopp & Chapple. Little Rock, Arkansas. 1.14.2023.

NOTE TO SELF: This was a great meal, but not a show-stopper. Highlights: The gorgonzola cheesecake with chutney and the pickled tomatoes on the board, and the big-ass shrimp on the redfish. Disappointments: You could have told me that fried okra came from Dixie Cafe and I would have believed you -- heavily breaded, fried to oblivion. The redfish was crazy salty and I needed the cracker from the board to get through it. The cake was good, but not to die for. It's weird to not rank this meal above the sandwich in Harrison, but the coconut cream pie is too much for this meal to overcome.

Currently ranked 2nd of 11 January meals.

I've been working on my personal fakemon region on and off and wanted to show off this line that I just finished! Gnourly and Trollicious are based off of gnomes, trolls, icing, and various kinds of cake. Gnourly evolves into Trollicious depending on its icing color. These guys were super fun to design and I'm very happy with their concept!
