My new comic book will be available on 12/3 in COMITIA146 at Tokyo Big Sight!

Also, at the beginning, I had originally planned to make this comic in full color, but I couldn't make it in time, so I had to make those contents in black and white. I have included a URL where you can download a full color PDF, so please enjoy it as well if you want to buy it. (On ko-fi, in the case I have the extra physical copy.)

After this event, I will also publish the full color PDF version on ko-fi too. I don't decide how much does it, but perhaps it will be 4~5 USD.

COMITIA146を振り返って

　コミティアお疲れさまでした。鉄道本の中に混ざるちいかわ本と怪しさがありましたが、意外と好調で過去一番の初速だったかと。

　本を手に取ってくれるだけでなく、お客さんが話しかけてくれたりして一つひとつ語り返す時間はかけがえのないものでした。こういう話を聞いているとまた来てほしいと思って作り始めるのだが、自分の作りたい方向性とは違うものをつくりたくなってしまいます。正直、可愛い方向に絞るのは恥ずかしかったりしますが……。

　いざ新刊を表に出すと恥ずかしい気持ちはあったものの、色々なお客さんが立ち寄ってくれてすっかり忘れていました。沿線住人や旅先でちいかわ電車を見たと言ってくれたり、語彙力を失って可愛い連発していたり、子どもが見本誌見ていたり、近くのサークルさんが買ってくれてその本を仲間内で見せていたり、取り置きお願いされてわざわざ戻って来てこの本を楽しみにしていたと言ってくれたり。個人サークル参加2回とまだまだですが、それでもいいことだけはちゃんと残そうと思いここに残しておきます。本当に嬉しい時間でした。こういう時間があるからこそ、創作するのが楽しいですね。

　次の即売会は今年の冬コミの予定です。次回は可愛い本は出せませんが、またいつかつくろうかと。でもやっぱり恥ずかしい。
