I know most people hate breaking dawn and wish it didnt exist but it honestly brings up so many cool concepts I desperately want someone to explore!!
--how does bella being able to take down her shield change her relationship with Edward? Obvs at first she just uses it to Express her love for him, but over time do they develop their own secret code? Does Edward know bella's mad at him bc she won't let him read her thoughts for 2 weeks? Does she learn how to shield other people's thoughts? Does she learn how to wrap her shield AROUND Edward so he doesnt have to hear anyone? Do they have some sort of Honesty Hour compromise where whenever bella shows Edward her thoughts, he has to share all of his unfiltered? Do they use it to parent Nessie, and nessie knows shes in trouble bc of the way her parents act when bella is clearly communicating something to Edward telepathically?
--the volturi are pretty damn convinced vamps are gonna be exposed eventually. In an age of smartphones and surveillance states, does it finally happen? Do humans build weapons that can kill vampires en masse? Do they use them?? Do more vampires convert to vegetarianism because it's the only way to not be targeted by humans? Does bella become a vampire rights activist??

--I need to know!!! What bella and edward!!! Do for eternity!! Do they travel?? Do they read books together?? Do they get into endless philosophical debates? Do they pretend to be professors? Do they go to college together? Do they always tell people they're married? Do they stay with the cullens endlessly or do they take breaks to be on their own?
--do the wolves stop changing again once the cullens leave in a few years? Do the current pack members decide to stop shifting? How does this affect quileute history?
--what do the humans from forks think happened to bella and the cullens? What are the rumors?
--where do the cullens move next, and when? What's their story there? Do they keep nessie completely isolated from the outside world for 7 years? Does she grow up without friends outside her family?? Does this affect her mental health? Is she ever resentful of the life she has? Does she rebel? Is she fascinated by humans or disgusted by them?
--after learning about the existence of half-vamps, do other vamps/the volturi do "experiments" to create more? What does the vampire world think of half vamps? Do the volturi try to create particularly gifted half vamps by making them from a gifted vamp father and a promising human mother?
--what about quarter vampires? 1/8th vampires??
--how do non-western cultures deal with vamps? Is it like an open secret? Do vamps outside of the west have different cultures? Are there secret covens beyond the volturi's notice?
--is there ever an actual uprising/rebellion against the volturi?? If so, what/who are they replaced by?
--do vampires, with their superior intelligence and ability to see more clearly than us, eventually develop technology that allows them to hide from humans? Does a vampire scientist study vampire biology and create a synthetic blood compound that vegan vampires can consume instead of the blood of anything living? Does this save anyone from war with humans?
There's so much that is brought up by bd that's never actually explored and i!! Need!! To!! Know!!!
Most importantly though: I need fic of bedward enjoying their immortal lives together. I looked for this fic 2 days after breaking dawn was published, and 11 years later there's just as much as there was then, which is to say: NONE
