Let's start this out with a nice OUTWARD perspective look at Avemour, rooted heavily in her public view. This is pulled directly from my card project, with Avemour as the Ace of Hearts.
Avemour is the oldest child of the previous king of the Farlyxe empire, though an illegitimate child at best. Their exact lineage is not well known, but he has been accepted as part of the royal family nonetheless, although it would likely cause uproar should she actually have sought the throne... They seem uninterested, however, and prefer helping his brother King Azailenne manage the workload alongside the two's other siblings.
Avemour is known to be a tad naive and ditzy, it's a miracle that she has yet to be tainted by the cruelty of the world. Their siblings take great care to make sure it stays that way - her having a meltdown would be impossible to manage.
Unlike most Xanthryx false angels, Avemour lacks wings and does not appear to eat human meat. It's widely assumed that he is half-human themselves, due to the cloudy nature of their lineage.
Now let me say how much of that is outright WRONG.
Avemour is not the oldest child. They're the oldest LIVING child.
Avemour is neither naive nor ditzy. They have an interesting combination of over-awareness of their surroundings and complete lack of self preservation (stemming from prioritizing any and everyone over themselves)
they have been hurt. a lot. His kindness is borne from cruelty, not the absence of it.
She does not need protection. Also his siblings talk about him behind his back and he KNOWS it.
Avemour is not half-human. But they ARE only half-Xanthryx

Family: Niriste Farlyxe (Mother), Old King Farlyxe (deceased, father), Avemour Succulen (Half-sibling), Veroziel Haiaci (Half-brother), Ertix Farlyxe (Brother), Quinceri Farlyxe (Sibling)
Personality: Azailenne is the most reserved of his siblings, uninterested in petty dramas and focused on his goals. He's a hard worker to the point of self-detriment, using most of his time to better his kingdom and the rest to keep Veroziel out of trouble. While he does not often have the opportunity to personally spend time with his siblings, aside from making sure they don't die from sheer stupidity, he does ensure that he keeps tabs on them to be certain they're alright.
Appearance: Azailenne is exactly 7'3" and holds himself with a proper, formal posture. His eyes are entirely black save for his glowing blue pupils, and his long hair is a rich umber colouration, typically held in a ponytail. He has large white wings that almost seem to glow, with a span longer than he is tall. A single halo floats around his head, covered in humanlike eyes with blue irises to match his main eyes' pupils.

Avemour's Secret Diary

Menara Eiffel berdiri dengan gagah di bawah sinaran mentari pagi di kota Paris. Tampak pemandangan para insan manusia yang berlalu-lalang bergegas pergi ke tujuan mereka masing-masing. Dan dari sebuah balkon lantai ketiga di kediaman Duchess la Cruz, gadis yang berusia dua puluh tahunan itu menyesap teh paginya sembari membaca surat kabar. Bibirnya menyunggingkan senyuman ketika netranya sampai pada artikel pembunuhan misterius di dekat kanal Saint Martin.
Dirinya tersenyum mengingat apa yang telah dia perbuat semalam. Seperti yang kalian duga, pelaku pembunuhan itu adalah dirinya, Avemour la Cruz. Sedangkan korbannya adalah pengedar senjata ilegal dari perusahaan gelap "Oiseau Noir" yang memiliki arti burung hitam. Mereka menganggap diri mereka adalah burung, karena burung adalah makhluk yang bebas. Dan Oiseau Noir sendiri adalah perusahaan dagang bebas yang tidak terikat oleh pemerintahan.
Madam Avemour pun mengingat kejadian pembunuhan semalam sembari menatap birunya langit dengan menyunggingkan senyum manisnya.

Suara hak dari sepatu beradu dengan jalanan, mengahsilkan suara ketukan yang khas. Di gang sempit itu terdapat dua orang yang saling kejar. Sang pengejar dia tampak santai dan menunjukkan ekspresi memangsa dan tatapan mata yang tajam, dia hanya fokus kepada target di depannya. Sedangkan yang sedang dikejar hanya bisa berlari dalam ketakutan dan menyesali hidupnya.
Setelah hampir 15 menit aksi kejar mengejar itu berlangsung, akhirnya si target tertangkap. Dia tak berani menatap sang pemilik tangan yang sedang mengarahkan senapan ke arahnya. Dirinya telah tersudut di ujung gang dan tak dapat melarikan diri, kini yang bisa dia lakukan hanyalah pastah dan menerima nasibnya. Berbanding terbalik dengan sang pengejar yang menampilkan senyum puas di wajahnya.
Sinar bulan langsung menyinari wajah sang pengejar ketika dirinya melepaskan topengnya. Menampilkan wajah cantik dan elegan khas seorang bangsawan Eropa saat itu. Kemudian mata si target terbelalak kaget karena dia mengenali pemilik wajah itu. Wanita itu mendekatkan dirinya ke arah targetnya, senapan yang dia bawa pun tak dilepaskan. Sambil tersenyum dia membisikkan sebuah kalimat yang menakutkan bagi siapapun yang mendengarnya.
“Selamat tinggal dan mari bertemu lagi di neraka.” Setelah mengucapkan kalimat itu, dia menarik pelatuknya dan menembak kepala dari target yang sedari tadi dia kejar. Tak puas disitu, dia kembali menembakkan senapan ke arah jantungnya demi memastikan bahwa korbannya telah meninggal. Dan setelah yakin bahwa korbannya telah tiada, dia pun pergi dengan menaiki kereta kuda yang telah menunggunya di depan gang sempit itu. Tampak seorang pelayan yang telah menunggu dirinya dengan cemas di dekat kereta kuda. Tatapan matanya berbinar ketika melihat Madam yang dia tunggu sedari tadi akhirnya menunjukkan diri. “Anda sudah bekerja keras, Madam. Mari kita pulang dan beristirahat, saya telah menyiapkan persiapan mandi anda dan juga makan malam.” ucap si pelayan kepada majikannya.
“Baiklah.” hanya itu yang dia ucapkan sembari menaiki kereta. Setelah itu mereka pun berangkat kembali ke kediaman Duchess la Cruz. Dan kereta kuda itu akhirnya hilang menjauh ke kegelapan malam kota Paris.

Kembali ke Madam Avemour yang sedang melamun di balkon, dia dikejutkan dengan suara pelayannya yang memanggil dirinya. “Madam, ada surat dari Kerajaan.” Begitu mendengarnya Avemour pun menghela napas panjang. Pikirannya dipenuhi pertanyaan seperti "Tugas apa lagi yang diberikan oleh Raja untukku?"
Dirinya pun menuruni tangga dan menuju lantai dasar dimana ruang kerjanya berada. Terlihat meja tua yang sudah dipenuhi surat-surat entah dari siapa, yang pasti itu adalah meja miliknya. Dia pun mengambil surat dengan stampel kerajaan dan mulai membaca. Terlihat sedikit kerutan di dahinya ketika membaca surat itu. Setelah menyelesaikan kegiatan membacanya, dia menoleh ke arah pelayannya dan berkata, “Malam ini kita akan menghadiri sebuah pelelangan, jadi tolong siapkan segala sesuatu yang kubutuhkan.” Si pelayan pun mengerti dan mengangguk pelan sembari tersenyum dan meninggalkan ruang kerja sang majikan.ㅤ

"I mean, I understand. What did you expect? Big dramatics? Tears? As much as you treat me like it, I'm not a kid. I'm not oblivious to the flaws you see in me. I *like* this version of me. I act like this specifically because I'm hoping that one day I'll actually be the person I act like I am, because I don't like me. I don't like the person I used to be. I'm getting better, at least, I think I am. You think I'm getting worse. I guess it was bound to be this way, right? You've never really liked me, not since you were young. And if you don't like this version of myself? I guess we have to go out separate ways. I've stuck around because, I guess, a part of me hoped you still needed me. But you're not a kid anymore. You don't need me. And I know when I'm not wanted."

OC lore for Avemour! (Not all up to date, copy pasted from my lore doc)
TWs: Child abuse, child neglect, domestic abuse, child murder, mutilation, cannibalism, self harm, 80% of the parent figures are terrible (I like my parents, idk why I did this), autocannibalism, species-ism (pure blood vs muggle born type deal), genocide, self hatred, and yeah there's more but it's implied at this point
Avemour was born to a high ranking pure-blooded false-angel lord who had quite a bit of territory, very respected man, and a demon lady. They were not supposed to exist - the product of a poorly thought out one night stand. Hybrids were very rarely successful, and even then they didn’t often survive very long, so it was not a concern.
In exchange for keeping quiet, to save his rank of ‘purity’, the false-angel lord allowed the demon lady to stay as a servant, provided basic necessities for her and the children.
Yes, children.
There were twins: Euka and Aveliss. Euka was named by the false-angel lord, and Aveliss by the demon lady. The demon lady wished to name Euka Avemour instead - as a sort of twin thing with Avemour and Aveliss - but the false-angel lord wouldn’t allow it. The children, once old enough to manage (six or seven), were given tasks of their own, treated as servants as well. They were forced to grow up young, essentially, but their mother would take responsibility if they ever failed their tasks.
Unfortunately, when Euka and Aveliss were between nine and eleven years of age, their mother was executed in front of them by humans under accusations of being a witch or something equivalent (this is like 2000 years ago and I’m not familiar enough with human history to say for sure but, yeah). Aveliss took the protector role for Euka, making sure to keep them safe. They’re mature for their age (because constant scrutiny does that to ya).
One of the false-angel lord’s enemies (he has a lot, he’s as terrible a person as he is a father) managed to somehow discover the children’s existence and genealogy. They wrongly assumed that the false-angel lord was keeping them as servants and hidden on the down-low to protect them, and decided to kill them to send a message. And so, on their fourteenth birthday, Euka discovered Aveliss’s mutilated corpse in the kitchen.
To add salt to the wound, the false-angel lord forced Euka to clean up the corpse and blood. What a great birthday present.
Aveliss’s grave, hidden deep within the forests of the Farlyxe (False-angel lord’s last name.) territory is the beginning of present Avemour’s rainbow forest. More on that later.
After Aveliss’ death, the false-angel lord kept a closer eye on Euka, essentially forcing them to become his personal assistant just to make sure he didn’t lose another child. Not because he cared, but rather because it was blow to his pride for his child, as illegitimate as the child was, to get killed. He eventually discovered Euka’s unique ability to sense emotions and used it to his advantage in meetings with other rulers.
Another servant of the false-angel lord's, an odd creature named Charlotte, became Euka's friend. Because I have a headache right now and can't be bothered to add more detail, Euka pretty much ate him because they were starving.
Euka met a demon prince this way named Zelzimonte. The false-angel lord despised demons, but Zelzimonte’s mother was a powerful ruler, and thus the lord was cordial with her [at least, he was going to be until he could take over her empire]. Euka and Zelzimonte were both instructed to learn more about their respective enemies, but became close friends.
Meanwhile, the false-angel lord marries another high ranking false-angel and has a child named Veroziel. His mother kinda just exists. She isn't important. Euka is the de-facto babysitter, and they do not like children, especially Veroziel, because Veroziel got the childhood they were supposed to have.
As Euka grew older and their demon horns + wings started to grow in, the false-angel lord tore off the wings and snapped the horns. Euka was left passed out in a pool of their own blood.
At least they have Zelzimonte. But as you’ve noticed, there is a pattern with the people Euka cares about getting hurt, so this happiness doesn’t last long. Zelzimonte got captured by nonhuman hunters (he's a prince but he's not very smart, and also false angel and demon culture both have the mindset of survival of the fittest) and so he ended up selling out Euka to save his own skin.
And that is how Euka lost their angel wings.
Euka eventually slowly got closer to Veroziel, and realized that the false-angel lord wasn't treating him very well either. Sure, Veroziel was the heir and was treated significantly better than Euka, but was still rather neglected and emotionally berated often. When Euka was around 23 (still a teen for false-angels, not adult) and Veroziel 7, Euka ran away with Veroziel. They got a stable job, friends, a babysitter….
And one day they came home to find the babysitter dead and Veroziel crying in the false-angel lord's grip. Euka was an important tool, with their emotion sensing capabilities, and their sad excuse for a father wouldn't just let him go that easily.
In order to ensure Veroziel's safety, Euka was forced to sign a magic contract that they would work for the false-angel lord. In turn, Veroziel would be unharmed.
At some point, Veroziel's mother died to illness, the false angel lord remarried. Three more children were born: Ertix and Quinceri, twins, and then Azailenne.
Euka killed the false angel lord to protect the rest of their siblings. Their stepmother, who was abused by and terrified of the false angel lord, helped them cover it up. Euka took on the new name of Avemour, the name they were meant to have, as well as their mother's last name. Euka Farlyxe was dead in the eyes of the world. The illegitimate child Avemour Succulen was 'discovered'.
In present, even Veroziel has long since forgotten Euka.
Oh and at some point Avemour fell in love with a human but when the human found out Avemour wasn't human tried to kill them because he turned out to be a nonhuman hunter.
Euka destroyed a town at one point under order of their father.
The rainbow forest is Avemour's little slice of territory. It covers the ruins of the town and centers at Aveliss' grave.

Ace of Hearts: Prinx Avemour Succulen
My first finished card design for my OC world card design project.
I am NOT extensively using card symbolism for this, save for Avemour being a heart card because it's for love, Azailenne being a spade card because it's more "military", Veroziel being a club card because it stands for youth, and Ertix/Quinceri being a diamond card because it stands for financial success / fame.

Ace of Clubs: Prince Veroziel Haiaci
The second part of my Playing Cards With Characters project, the imbecile himself, Veroziel!
Veroziel was born of the previous king's first marriage, and is the second oldest of his siblings. However, it's easily an even tie between him and Avemour to be mistaken for the youngest based on behavior, with Avemour's naivety and Veroziel's... Well, Veroziel.
Veroziel is very social and infamous for his low casual dating behavior. He also doesn't seem to be very intelligent, constantly getting himself into troublesome situations.
Azailenne and Quinceri are quite frustrated with him most of the time, while Avemour is concerned, and Ertix typically doesn't bother much. Despite it all, he does take up some responsibility, assisting the servants in designing and maintaining the gardens.
When push comes to shove, humor is his coping mechanism, which leads to an inability to behave seriously in bad situations.

Alternate Avemour x Svetlana is great but also
Alternate Avemour x Starstruck.
Alternate Starstruck was never going to be put to death. He was bit in the middle of the night by a vampire and nearly died, but being the King's favourite, Starry was rescued by guards and what little medicinal knowledge they had was back when (I think Starry's from like. The 1600s iirc)
Butttt he still turned into a vampire. He had a nice career, but once the king died (of natural causes, rather than murdered by Starstruck), his successor questioned Starstruck's still-present youthfulness, and Starstruck had to flee.
Starstruck ends up becoming part of Avemour's collection of entertainers, where he slowly manages to earn their favor, and eventually love.
Starstruck is 100% in control of everything despite the power dynamic of Avemour literally being his boss who could and has killed entertainers for being dull before. Avemour will fold at Starstruck's whims.
Avemour: Jester, I have a task for you.
Starstruck: yeh sugar?
Avemour: 😳
Avemour: i-i-i- well- I just- I wanted to ask you if- if you maybe- if you wanted to - to, you know, accompany me to - uh - to the meeting I have with - with Lord Zelzimonte -
(^ very similar reaction if Alternate Svetlana ever called them by a pet name btw they are SOFT for all their love interests.)
