Angelic Pretty Paris' ♡ Sweet Crown Party - 27.01.2024 ꔫ

Last week was my first brand tea party ! It was also the first time in a year and a half I actually went to a brand event (last time was AP Paris' 6th anniversary event, A・LA・MODE SHOWROOM), so I was very excited ♡ Too excited, in fact, to even think of taking pictures of my coord for the day. I wore my new Classical Heroine JSK along with the blouse I bought with it, and coordinated them with black and white, using, of course, my beloved Vivienne RHS. Actually, everytime I wear them, I feel a bit of guilt lifting away from me, as if every wear was refunding a bit of my money to me (✧∀✧)/ The tea party was very nice, and everyone was lovely. As I said, it was a first for me so I can not compare it to any other previous AP tea party, but I feel like we all had a good time. I was able to speak to a lot of new people, and was very happy to spend time with friends! I had lots of fun and the two hours flew by too quickly! I didn't get the fève in my piece of galette, but I still had a great time, especially when we played "pin the tail on the donkey" on Lulu's head with her cute little cup/crown/hat and its lid. ☆ As I didn't take any worthwhile pictures, I wanted to make a little memory of the event and drew this when I got home ♡ We've got: ⋆˚ ⁭Florence (@grand_saumon) wearing Milky Planet ⋆˚ Tina (@snow_priestess) wearing French Café ⋆˚ Lulu (@lumienous) wearing Strawberry Parlor ⋆˚ Flowi (@sun.flowi) wearing Star Night Theater (she got the fève and was crowned!) - and then me in my Classical Heroine ♡ I'm a bit sad because I didn't get to wear the manucure I was planning to, as my order of nail polishes, tools and charms was delayed. I hope I'll get to make my own tartan nails (yes, really! ✧) very soon...

On October 20th, the Lolita event organized by Bows Magazine, called Monster Fantasy, was held in Santiago, Chile.

When the time of the fashion show came, everyone sat at their tables to see it. The national and international brands opened the catwalk, with gorgeous clothes and accessories. In the end, it was the turn of the invited brand, Angelic Pretty, to show their clothes and accessories.

After the fashion show, we had the Dinner Party, with entrée, main course and dessert for the guests. There were options for those who were vegan and celiac too. And to close the event, the choice of the best outfit by Minori and Angelic Pretty Paris.

The event was very cool and very well organized! I would like to express my deepest thanks to the Monster Fantasy team and the Chilean community, who welcomed us with open arms and even with the language barrier they were very receptive and attentive – it was fun to use Portuguese, English and Spanish in conversations. And a big special thank you to José Domingo Pérez Barrios, from Urograd Photography, for kindly providing the photographs that are used in Kera’s article – his work is wonderful!

haul of a girl that can't pick a substyle

my first brand swimsuit and an usakumya necklace i was very excited about finding!!

i was missing several of the early volumes of GLB and was able to fill in the gaps with a few of those. i've been interested in researching the history of the fashion recently so i'm constantly hunting for old magazines! i've added GLB volumes 1-4 & 6 & 49--as well as "Frill" volume 1 and the "Maison Gothic & Lolita Style" book to my media collection.

a metamorphose Alice OP (2000) that i got on auction!! the double sleeves and center buttons down to the bottom are my favorite. it didn't come with the apron, but i was lucky enough that the one from a different Alice OP, also from the year 2000... was on auction on a different platform at the same time. i bought them separately intending to pair them together! i quite prefer the style of this rounder edged apron rather than the more squared top one it's meant to go with.

this is actually the dress that made me realize the Alice OP Set on lolibrary has a long version (similar to the maid OP from 2003 mini & long or the nun style OP mini & long)--i'll have to remind myself to submit a correction for the current OP to indicate the mini variation, and to submit a new entry for the long length one if i can manage to find more information... though i had no idea of its existence until recently! from an old LM sales listing, i found that the mini length is around 88 cm, whereas this one is 125 cm. i severely underestimated the length of this and it's down to my ankles, but i suppose it'll be my first long dress ^_^

On October 20th, the Lolita event organized by Bows Magazine, called Monster Fantasy, was held in Santiago, Chile.

During the entrance, there was time for the lolitas to enjoy the booths, which were full of wonderful items! One of the most disputed ones was the Angelic Pretty Paris booth, which was almost all the time full of girls doing shopping. The “crowd” only dissipated a little from the booths during the raffles that were going on.

At a certain time, Minori went to the stage to talk to everyone. Then she went to her booth where guests could buy her products, take pictures and get autographs.
