For day 10 of the event, I used the phrase ‘big sweaters’ for the Sensui Seven from Yu Yu Hakusho! This is another fandom I don’t often get to write for, and never really for these characters, so I hope any fans of the series will enjoy the headcanons 😊

Big sweaters: do you prefer the cold, warmth, or a perfect in-between?

Shinobu Sensui really doesn’t have a preference at all. He’s fine with whatever, temperature wise. If his body gets too warm, he’ll take off layers, if it gets too cold, he’ll throw on extra layers. He’s really not too in tune with his physical body, outside of what’s needed to make sure it’s alive, functioning as it should, and in peak physical performance for his goals and ambitions. Petty things like a preferred temperature? Never even crosses his mind.

Itsuki would slightly prefer warmer weather. He’s not too upset when things get chillier or anything. He’s not throwing temper tantrums or acting pissy when snow comes. He just comments that he can’t wait for the return of the warmer weather. Besides, at that time his precious Sensui is walking around in less clothing and that always makes Itsuki very happy, which is part of what makes him prefer warmer weather. The other factor is simply that he’s someone who gets cold very easily.

Kaname is the only one who definitively prefers the colder weather. Kaname runs warm as a person, but at the same time, he’s always most comfortable in layers, particularly in his motorcycle jacket. Colder weather ensures that he can be in his leather without overheating or having to strip it off. That being said, he wants colder weather without the snow and ice because once those are down, his motorcycle needs to be taken off the road for both his and the public’s safety.

Meanwhile, Sadao and Amanuma are both people who really do prefer warmer weather. Sadao prefers all the wide variety of different treats and special foods that come out in the warmer weather. Meanwhile, warmer weather means only one thing to Amanuma – summer vacation and not having to be cooped up in school, with all of his childish and boring classmates.

Both Mitarai and Kamiya don’t really hold strong preferences towards winter or summer weather because both do prefer the in-between weather of spring and fall. Mitarai prefers spring, with the weather pleasant enough to just wear a sweater or a light coat, and the frequent rain showers casting a hazy, misty light on life itself. Kamiya, meanwhile, prefers fall, with its weather perfect for layers and the symbolisms of nature dying and going into hibernation for yet another year.

you were busy doing moe moe kyun~ to a customer’s ubu ubu naniwa love parfait, when you heard the door open and a quiet voice greet one of the older maids as he was taken to his table in the back.

then followed three loud voices. you finished and looked up only to drop your head once again. of course your friends and the group your cafe had a collaboration with had to come in and beg for your infamous sparkling ade that wasn’t on the menu but rather a made up secret menu item.

you heard a couple fan girls squeal and take pictures of the group, a sigh leaving your lips. you didn’t know if you liked being a hentai mom in high school and had them visit everyday or working as a sexy maid and doing moe moe kyun~ to a diabetic shock parfait.

as you made your way over to their table where they were being noisy, you sighed. “ryusei. what do you want?” you asked as the other two looked at you in shock as daigo and kyohei pouted. “your infamous meal set you make every time we come over.” your face dropped as you looked down at your outfit and back at the three smiling puppies.

“i’m wearing a harness and a top that barely holds my boobs in and you want me to make you donburi set a?” you said with an aggravated look on your face, eyebrow twitching. “yes.” kyohei said as you threw your notepad on the table and turned around, giving up immediately.

walking away, you heard them yell again as you sighed and threw your pen at daigo’s head. “what now?!” you shrieked as the regulars continued eating, used to the common yelling that made for a good show. “we have another order we forgot about.” daigo said as you walked back and waited.

they all pointed at someone and you quickly grabbed kyohei and pulled him to the corner. “you brought yuku here?!” you shrieked quietly as kyohei gave an awkward chuckle. “technically he wanted to come here and we tried to stop him.” he whispered back as you sighed. “why didn’t you say that today was megalodon day? he hates being around food competitions!” you said as you smacked his arm and he threw his hands up in frustration.

as you went back to cook the food, you couldn’t focus on doing the proper actions seductively when you served it, your mind crashing as soon as you planned the way you were going to do it.

finally coming out with their food, you struggled through a painful seductive food spell, escaping as fast as you could.

your shift had finally ended and you and yuku made your way back to the apartment, a silence falling over you. “you know, you could’ve asked the boys for another maid cafe. ours is a little too raunchy.” you said as yuku smiled and gave his signature chuckle.

“that would’ve ruined the fun of surprising you at work and seeing what you actually do. plus i found it hot.” he said as he climbed the stairs to your apartment; leaving you on the street frozen in shock.
