A toy haul, from toys I purchased earlier in the year, to just a few days ago, but only arrived within this month (October). I'm not a fan of the Netflix Castlevania series, but I missed out on getting Ms. Kojima's version of Alucard by Neca, which is the one I actually want to own one day. But there's no way in h*ll I'll be paying $300 for a Neca figure. I still regret to this day never getting it when it released (I thought it was too fugly, and didn't look like Ms. Kojima's beautiful rendition of Alucard, now it's gone too high in price second market!). Alas, live and learn. I'll have to settle for the Netflix boring one -- I saw a friend of mine customize theirs into the A. Kojima one, so I thought I would get one too, in case I get brave enough to try modding it one day. DX I'm super excited with the Inuyasha NS, I hope it means they'll release a Sesshomaru one as well; I am waiting for the pre-owned one I got from AA to be shipped, to unbox one. I'll probably keep this one in box since it's new-new (got it from BIJ), but the box is not in perfect condition, so we'll see. I also finally got the last Banpresto Kyun Chara Sasuke Uchiha Ichiban Kuji figure I needed, so I'm pretty happy I finally got him too. He's just like the other Sasuke and Itachi; I'm pretty sure they all have the same exact head, just different bodies and hair, but I love them so much.

Couple things I wanna unpack...

1- Anytime any anime gets an Alice in Wonderland treatment, you have me hooked like a fish.

2- REOMABU HOLDING HANDS, LIKE LOOK AT THAT SHIT, FINGERS INTERLOCKED AND EVERYTHING. FUCKING PHENOMENAL

3- Kitty Toi, Bunny Enta, Alice Kazuki and Keppi being his usual Keppi self.

4- Am I the only one who sees Toi kind of embracing Kazuki or I am tripping just a bit? 👀👀👀👀👀

5- Toi's fang. Nuff said.

March Shopping - Part 1 (figures)

The pricier ones of the haul. My preciousssss. XD

Let’s start from the small ones, shall we?

Kuroko from Kuroko no Basket. It’s a used Kuji figure but was missing him from the gang.

Galo, my sunshine firefighter son from Promare! I hope I can get the Lio one as well... It’s a prize figure btw.

New uniform Tobio has arrived as well! Orange looks good on him (and I don’t mean Hinata by that, but maybe I am... XD). HQ!! will always have a special place in my heart, so I guess this is not the last figure.

Dr. Stone is a steady show for me - keeps me entertaining and when I saw this figure on AmiAmi in the pre-owned section (which will be the end of me btw), I thought - why not? And I did not regret - you’ll see in the separate post why.

SAO is one of my favorite isekai series for me (yeah, you can throw stones at my for my sh*tty taste but I will defend my son Kirito by any means necessary) and the Alicization series added to my hype - because of the birth of a new ship for me: Kirito x Eugeo (I still ship Kirito with Asuna though - one of the rare het ships I stan, but I also multiship, so yeah). This Eugeo figure caught my eyes on the cursed pre-owned section of Amiami - and he is here finally. Looking regal and beautiful. Fun fact: I don’t own a Kirito figure - yet. XD

Last but not least: my most random and most expensive figure purchase of all times. I didn’t know the character, I didn’t know the Chinese novel series (still don’t btw), but I saw this on CDJapan and fell in love at first sight. Meet Zhang Kylin (or Qiling) from Daomu Biji. It’s hands down the most beautiful figure I own. (And it’s the heaviest too.) The details, the beauty of it is out of this world’s. I don’t regret spending a sh*t ton of money on it (and yes, this one was caught by the customs so add 27% and 10 EUR more to the retailing price plus EMS shipping. 🙃 ) And I just figured out while taking photos of him why I fell so hard: he is the mix of my favorite anime boy type: Haru from Free!, Tobio from HQ!!, Uenoyama from Given etc. etc. etc. (And even a bit like Keith from Voltron, probably because of the blue dragon which reminds me of Kosmo.)

So yeah. New additions. Separate posts will follow with close-ups - as usual.

Tsumugi: Hello, Yuki-san. I have more details about your Ichiban Kuji project. The 12 of you will be starring in a promotional short drama!

Tsumugi: According to the characters you've been given, Re:vale will have an Alice in Wonderland theme, with Momo-san playing Cheshire Cat, and you playing the Mad Hatter. I can't wait to see you in your costumes..!

Yuki: Hey, Maneko-chan. Momo's acting like a kitty right now

Tsumugi: He told me he was going to act like a cat until filming is over, is he really doing that?

Yuki: Yeah. At the very least, he's ending his sentences with "meow"

Yuki: But because he's not used to doing that, he forgets sometimes

Tsumugi: Momo-san is so cute..!

Yuki: I know, right.

Tsumugi: Have you ever read Alice in Wonderland?

Yuki: Not properly, but I do know how the story goes. Alice is pretty cute.

Yuki: I don't like that fidgety rabbit, though

Tsumugi: You don't like to be rushed, after all ><

Yuki: If I had to pick one, then maybe Peter Pan. People used to tell me I was like Peter Pan, so I read the story and ended up liking it.

2. What do you think of your character, the Hatter?

Yuki: Momo was all like, "You'll totally play the part of a crazy hatter perfectly~!" Is it just me, or does that sound like a thinly veiled insult?

3. Was there another costume you wanted to try?

Yuki: Maybe Tenn-kun's, since he's also got a big hat? I don't want to wear the shorts, though ^^

Yuki: Should I start pretending I'm a cat, too?

Tsumugi: You, too?

Yuki: That's right, meow

Yuki: What do you think, meow? ^^

Tsumugi: I-it's too intense! lol

Yuki: It is?

Yuki: Yamato-kun once told me that I'm like a fox, so I thought I could pull it off

Yuki: It's really funny that he's a dog person, despite having those cat eyes

Tsumugi: He has the charm of both...

Yuki: I hear Momo told you about the cat he looked after

Tsumugi: Yes, he did...

Yuki: Cats will stay with you for about 20 years at most. The more time you spend with them, the more it hurts when you have to say goodbye. Because of that, I think it's good that the cat ran away when it did.

Yuki: They say cats will leave you to go die alone when they're sick. Maybe that was the case back then, too

Tsumugi: Right... Maybe it didn't want to show Momo-san its suffering, after everything he'd done for it...

Yuki: I'm glad Momo didn't have to see its cold, dead body

Yuki: He's so gentle that I can't even tell him that, though

Tsumugi: Yuki-san...

Yuki: Sorry, I'm not acting like myself ^^

Better late than never! Happy 29th birthday to Kouki Uchiyama! You would think he’s older because of the sheer number of roles he has. He seems to know some English (not sure of his proficiency).
