Walworth's Zoo
The forgotten #zoo of #London was situated in Walworth. It is said the animals' ghostly cries can still be heard
Albert Cops with his menagerie in the Tower of London was not the only entrepreneur to pander to the public’s desire to see exotic animals. Perhaps London’s strangest menagerie was to be found, bizarrely, on the rickety upper floor of Essex Exchange, on the northern side of the Strand. Founded in 1773 by the Pidcock family, initially as the winter quarters for the animals in their travelling…

THE STRANGER (2022)
Grade: C+
It's based on a true story, if u didn't know anything about that or a trailer, the plot turns will keep ur attention. Ending was average. The two leads acting scenes together are intense.

Ms Renaud: So we have to address the problem, and sadly I’ve heard this government say a number of times that doctors aren’t leaving, it’s not a problem, it’s not a crisis. Well, it is. We know it is. I just had a quick look to remind myself because I wasn’t sure of the numbers, but it was reported: March 24, 2022, CTV reported – and I’m sure this is coming from a report, but this is just the first news article that I found – that the number of doctors who left Alberta last year was almost equal to the number who left in the prior two years. Now, that’s reporting from 2022, the two years combined, and this is according to the college. So we had 140 physicians leave in 2021. [interjection] Sure.
Mr. Copping: Okay. Thank you very much to the hon. member for allowing me to intervene. I did want to comment because the hon. Member for St. Albert was making a comment about the loss of doctors. Quite frankly, Madam Speaker, that isn’t the case. We have more doctors than ever before in the province. There always is churn, and I appreciate that doctors leave and doctors come. But, you know, if we compare this year, September 30, to last year, we have 176 more doctors in the province. We have 11,346 doctors registered, the most ever.
Ms Renaud: Well, it’s very timely that I said that government continues to say, “Doctors aren’t leaving; it’s not a problem,” and the Health minister stood up and sort of said that very same thing. When we know cities like Lethbridge – we know there’s a crisis. We know that you probably hear it. It’s anecdotal, for sure. We hear it from all of our constituencies, that people cannot find physicians. We know there are problems. We know that emergency departments are closing. We know that people can’t have their babies in their communities. There is a problem. There is a large problem. Doctors have left. Physicians have left.
