Unimportant but slightly funny thing i just found and had never seen mentioned before: The variable used for displaying what chapter you started your deltarune save in on the light world’s stats screen (oddly not the dark world’s...?) is called “krispreservationsociety” (society for the preservation of krises)
i actually somehow never noticed this was a thing that displayed at all this whole time i suppose i just never looked at this screen in chapter 2...
#also the thing i was looking to check that accidentally led me to find this#dr apparently actually keeps ut's easter egg for if you change the character name to be longer than it should#except here its just for if you managed to change kris's name at all which is unusual#because that's not a save data variable you have to actually change the language data to manage that#...and it still is only concerned if its longer than 7 characters. but the message it adds is different now#its just ''???'' instead of ''easy to change huh''#so i wonder if actually its left in there just because if they were worried it would break something if taken out...#mypost#dt#back to the topic of kris preservation society i suppose its not in the dark world menus because there wasnt room for it#its main purpose seems to just be for bragging rights or maybe just as reminder though so it was a little odd to me#that its somewhere where you cant see it for most of the actual runtime of the game

they hate each other except for when they dont. but actually they do
[image id: a series of sketches of Day, a pokemon trainer oc, and Melli from legends arceus. Day is a white person with their hair shaved on one side, and is wearing glasses, a t shirt, a long jacket with stripes on the sleeves, and flame-patterned puffy pants tucked into boots.
In the first sketch, Melli stands side by side with Day. Day looks up at him, extremely unimpressed, as Melli says "oh your coat is just in horrible condition, your terrible galaxy team forcing you to work in the wilds in whats clearly such flimsy fabric just proves how bad you people are". Then, he says, "now I simply insist you allow me, the Great Melli, to repair and reinforce it with my superior sewing skills". He looks down at Day, very smug, as they startle, clearly not having expected an offer of help.
In the next series of sketches, Melli is sewing their jacket with Day watching. Empty speech bubbles hover above Melli as he explains it to them. Then, he hands the jacket over to an apprehensive Day, saying "now you try." Day begins sewing, now more confident and smiling a bit as Melli continues to instruct them. Melli grins, saying "see? how could you fail, being taught by the Great Melli ;)". Day looks at Melli, sick and tired of his shit.
The final two sketches show Day in their newly repaired jacket. They stand looking down at it, smiling in surprised delight. In the first, they face the front, and in the second, they've spun around to look at the back of it. The cuffs of the sleeves, bottom of the jacket, and a couple gashes on the back are the most significantly repaired portions. The shoulders are now embroidered with Hisuian Decidueye inspired patterns, and the gash on the back has been repaired to mimic rays of light. End id]

how tf do i get aventurine to 3600 defense and still have ok crit dmg and a lil crit rate😭 he has around 3000 def w 143 crit dmg and 20 smth crit rate AND THEN 50 EFFECT RES (which isnt bad but like... def...)

[awakens from my thousand year slumber] pseudo-tangled au inspired by Crowley insisting Gabriel can't go outside — Beelzebub, knowing that Gabriel is somewhere in the bookshop, goes to scope things out before Shax's invasion, and runs into Jim, Aziraphale's clueless, idiotic, cute human (?) assistant.
Jim, wanting to see The Outside, but scared from Crowley and Aziraphale's warnings, promises Beez that he'll help them find Gabriel (he probably thinks Gabriel is a type of book, especially since Beelzebub never seems to hear him when he tells them people call him Gabriel) if they can safely show him The Outside.
After eluding a frantic Crowley and Aziraphale, running from the police (how was Jim supposed to know he couldn't just walk out of places with Shiny Things??), seeing the strange and wonderful things The Outside has to offer, dancing at a Human Music Festival, getting Jim better clothes, and Jim somehow saving Beelzebub from being tracked down by heaven, Beelzebub finds themself reluctantly charmed by the silly, strange human (??)
Especially since something about him seems so familiar...

So ofc I have plans to move out once I am able to, but I don't think I can live alone. Ever.
a) I will get scared that there is a Slender-Man-like creature always watching me
b) Shifting from living with 5 people, 3 of who are the shriekiest and loudest gremlins ever encountered, to just living by yourself doesn't sound like a good plan. I will drown in my loneliness.
But mostly because
c) I will not sleep. Ever. If no one reminds me. And I will not eat either. Probably would die out of starvation and dehydration (/nsrs)
Because my dad has to keep reminding me at around 12 that "Hey, it's 12, go tf to sleep" and I scrunch my eyebrows and go "Really?? What??"
Because I looked at the time, 11:30pm, today, and realized that I forgot to eat lunch and dinner. And I hadn't had breakfast either. Just pasta and a couple Tim Tams while at school and iced coffee & a handful of mini sugar biscuits after coming home.
So, to my future roommate: I apologize. Just a tad. Idk how you're gonna put up with me, but I am excellent at looking after other people's healths and will make you warm soup and lemon, honey and ginger tea if you so much as even blow your nose thrice around me in one day.
Call it a mutual symbiotic relationship.
