Why yes I do find myself becoming enthralled with multimedia stories primarily told through songs and sometimes manga and other ways with characters labeled numbers one to ten who are all so complicated and deep <3

Under the cut is spoilers/speculation for the Kagerou Project and trial one and trial two of the MILGRAM project! If you’re a fan of one of these I recommend checking the other two out! Also discussion of suicide topics and general dark content considering these tragic characters

Ok those up above are just paired by number (prison number and order of joining the mekkakushi dan) but here is how I’d pair them based on power/themes + explanations, maybe even if there was a crossover or au sort of thing. The ones with the blue squares are what I think definitely fit while the others I had to go back and forth on

Kido and Haruka: Abandonment and attention issues + the power to conceal yourself so you don’t get noticed is really interesting to me… Kido is more confident and blunt than Haruka, and yet, I do think they match up fairly well.

Seto and Mahiru: I was debating on giving Seto’s power to Yuno or even Es since it’s like. I don’t know people pleasing/the whole motif of trying to see inside of people’s minds but Mahiru having mind reading powers compels me, since she’s so empathetic. It would also make her indirect murder so much more messy since she would have likely tried to show her love more if she could viscerally sense her boyfriend struggling, but ough.

Kano and Kazui: now this. This fits like a glove. They’re all about lies and pain baybeee… Yobanashi Decieve is such a perfect Kazui song it’s not even funny. (Using the Will Stetson Eng Lyrics but like. Come on)

Mary and Amane : Okay this is a more of a hear me out but hear me out. Both sheltered from the outside/real world, albeit for different reasons, Amane by her religious organization, Mary by her mom since she has Medusa blood. Petrification as a power would be helpful for amane in that murder and/or not getting hurt again, and/or punishing sinners. Also I think Amane would judge Mary since she’s all about stopping the natural cycle of death with all those timeloops

Muu and Momo: Simply they are both popular and that power of drawing eyes is so perfect for that. Less good for Muu once everyone turns on her but it still works.

Ene and Fuuta: This is so just because digital media like video games and twitter are so important to Fuuta like yes go into the computer buddy and cyberbully on another level. They also have similar outward prickliness <3

Shintaro and ES: this is really just about main characters and retaining eyes probably going to Es…? Wasn’t too sure of this one myself tbh

Hibiya and Mikoto (and John): Ok Focusing eyes I couldn’t really think of anyone since it’s very niche but ehh..? Graphic artist??? I do think a kagerou daze situation with Mikoto and John of John trying to save Mikoto in a death loop would fit them before the twist that oh no, sacrificing yourself just continues a different cycle…

Konoha and Kotoko: they can PUNCH. mostly did this one because kotoko would love to have the power to punch people to death and also. Well. Most inter-party kills. In konoha’s case due to possession but Kotoko would prob use hers for cold hard Justice

Hiyori and Shidou: ok this was Clearing Eyes since timeline shenanigans makes it so that Hiyori isn’t part of the group most loops. Maybe I should’ve put Kenjirou instead… well… welp. Shidou would go that far for his wife, that’s all I’ll say, and also the snake of knowledge fits him

Ayano and Yuno: Wasn’t sure about this one, since tbh Novel ES (the girl one) probably fits Ayano better, but Yuno having such a emotional power, able to express her feelings to another, while having everything she has going on could be interesting. Maybe Yuno matches Hiyori better I don’t know LOL Ayano is my favorite of the kagepro bunch though

It was a normal day in the House of Lamentation. Well, it was as normal as it could be with Mammon doing what he could to get more Grimm, Lucifer getting mad at Mammon, Leviathan waiting for a new game he had ordered on Akuzon, Satan... just reading, Asmodeus ready to indulge himself with whatever, and what were you and the twins doing?

"Beel! Share some with me!" You whined out, reaching for the snacks Beel had. You, the Avatar of Vaildation, were the youngest out of the family. While the meaning of your "sin" seemed good, it was far from that when it came down to it. There would be times where you would seek vaildation a little too much and it often made you forget that you didn't need vaildation from others to know that you were enough.

You were very young when you got dragged down with the others into Devildom. It was scary at first but you had your brothers with you so it wasn't that bad at least.

"But I'm so hungry.." Beel huffed in reply, keeping the arm with the snacks away from you. It didn't help that he was the tallest among the siblings and you were the shortest.

"But we can share! Please!" You begged. He looked at your puppy dog eyes for a moment before sighing and handing you the snacks. "Thank you! You're the best!" You were in your shared room with Beel and Belphie. The other twin curled up in his bed taking a nap like usual.

After you both shared the snack, it was relatively peaceful. Both of you sitting in a comfortable silence was always nice. But your thoughts had intruded your peacefulness.

"Hey Beel?" You looked over at him. "I'm enough, right? I know I shouldn't be asking that a lot but..." You trailed off, your hands clutching on the sheets of Beel's bed.

"You're enough. You're more than enough. I could tell you that more than 100 times. Our brothers could say it too." He wrapped an arm around your shoulder. "I can't stress it enough. But remember we can't tell you that all the time because you need to accept that you're enough."

"I-I know.." You stutter, holding back another question. You were about to ask him for more vaildation but you caught yourself luckily.

“Come on. We should get to bed. It seems like Belphie beat us to that though.” You laughed a bit as you looked over at your sleeping sibling. “Come on.” He stood up, already reaching out to grab Belphie and you before he placed you both on his bed.

“Hm..” Belphie stirred for a moment before he got comfy again. You were placed in between the two twins, it was very warm but you weren’t complaining.

“Goodnight.”

“Goodnight Beel and goodnight Belphie.” You mumbled already feeling tired as Beel pulls up the blankets over you three.

ANSWER THE FOLLOWING SO PEOPLE KNOW HOW SHIPPING WORKS ON YOUR BLOG.

WHAT’S YOUR OTP FOR YOUR MUSE?: I think this goes without saying, as you can literally just look at my blog and assume who my otp is, but, obviously, it’s Malec. For Magnus, it was sort of love at first sight deal, and as long as I’ve written him (which is almost three years at this juncture) Alec has been it for Magnus. Although there are many times both Magnus and I are angry at him within canon for shit he does, that’s still his soulmate, ya know?

HOW LARGE DOES THE AGE GAP HAVE TO BE TO MAKE IT UNCOMFORTABLE?: For me, I don’t like a lot of physical age gap, it’s definitely harder to define when a character may be centuries old and physically still be around 30? (I think I made Magnus physically 30? I don’t remember), it’s a lot harder to define, let’s just say that at least. So, Magnus tends to be attracted to people around his physical age, and they have to be over eighteen, so I’d say around physically 21-50 would be okay for Magnus, and if we’re going the non-immortal husbands route which is apparently unspoken show canon, which I reject, (the only way Magnus would be okay with that is if he wasn’t immortal himself), he’d stay with someone he really loves no matter how old they are/get, so.

ARE YOU SELECTIVE WHEN SHIPPING?: I’m actually pretty selective with shipping. Even if we’re just saying Magnus is only attracted to Alec, there are a lot of different Alec’s, and a lot of different ways to play Alec, and if Magnus doesn’t click with you? I typically won’t write with you. I’m actually pretty picky with Alec’s because if it’s one that’s going to hurt Magnus (emotionally, obviously) or is toxic? Naw, we’re gunna stay far away, I’m not putting my son in that situation. Outside of Malec? I’m even more selective. Within the past verse/plotted au’s (like Magnus/Izzy with my bayBEEE), Magnus is definitely more open about stuff, but Magnus is on the aromantic spectrum, as he’s only loved I think canonically a few times, and in that I really only recognize him being in love with Etta & Camille (one-sided) other than Alec, so it’s mostly just a sexual sort of thing for him.

HOW FAR DO STEAMY MOMENTS HAVE TO GO BEFORE THEY’RE CONSIDERED NSFW?: Honestly, for me? NSFW is anything that’d make me blush. I like to mark everything just to be safe, but if there’s making out and heavy petting, I’ll consider it NSFW. To be fair, I don’t typically write a lot of NSFW content, mostly just because mun is on the ace spectrum, but sometimes Magnus is in a mood, and it cannot be avoided.

WHO ARE OTHER MUSES YOU SHIP YOUR MUSE WITH?: Other than Malec, which is a huge one, I’d say Isabelle is a huge contender, and I’ve gone into great depth about this with Izzie, and if we’re talking previous to Magnus even knowing of Alec’s existence, it’s pretty much fair game for most people. I definitely have a soft spot for Meliorn and Luke, which I have to write somewhere that he definitely had a casual thing with both of them, Dot, honestly, there’s a lot of options in the past, but things I would consider writing would be Magnus/Izzy, Meliorn/Magnus, Dot/Magnus, and Luke/Magnus.

ANY NOTPS?: Oh wow, what a long list this could be. Honestly? Magnus being with any sort of abuser (I’m thinking canonically, not how someone might write them, but for various reasons, I don’t want to put Magnus in any sort of toxic situation) so, Magnus/Camille, Magnus/Jonathon, Magnus/Valentine, and Magnus/Jordan are a hell no for my Magnus. Magnus with any of the people he considers his kids, so Magnus/Raphael, Magnus/Clary, Magnus/Simon, Magnus/Maia are also a hell no. Furthermore, Jace/Magnus is one-sided, if I’m considering it because there is no universe in which Magnus would be attracted to Jace. Ones that I feel are quite obviously no would be Jocelyn/Magnus, Magnus/Ragnor, Magnus/Catarina, Magnus/Tessa, Magnus/Jem, Magnus/Will. I feel like there’s more NOTPs than OTPs for my boy.

DOES ONE HAVE TO ASK TO SHIP WITH YOU?: Although I am open to ship, I feel like if you aren’t an Alec roleplayer, you definitely have to ask.

HOW OFTEN DO YOU LIKE TO SHIP?: i don’t know what this means, to be honest? but not everything is about shipping to me, I like to explore a lot of different sorts of dynamics.

ARE YOU MULTISHIP?: i used to be single ship, and while i do have my mains/favorites, and the option to be single ship exists, i’d have to really click with someone, and they’d have to be willing to be single ship as well.

ARE YOU SHIP-OBSESSED OR SHIP MORE-OR-LESS?: this could be an either/or situation since mostly i write what comes to me, but i love to explore each and every one of magnus’ dynamics.

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE SHIP IN YOUR CURRENT FANDOM?: i mean... i think it’s obvious.

FINALLY, HOW DOES ONE SHIP WITH YOU?: send in a meme, im me to plot, really anything!! if you’re an alec roleplayer you can basically just throw your alec at my face and we’ll determine whether they’ll mesh well, but if you’re anyone else? please just tentatively approach and at least just try to talk to me beforehand.
