Some recent ATCs.

20 artist trading cards (ATCs) created for the theme of “love.” I based most of these off of specific moments in my own life. The rest are thematic representations. They’re all about different kinds of love I’ve experienced or longed for. I was nervous to share something so vulnerable with a bunch of strangers, but I was received warmly by the organizer and I’m happy I decided to be genuine with the theme.

I bought some pretty gold Chinese brush painting ink recently and tonight I remembered that I had a little pack of 3 black ATC card blanks... and then I also remembered that I had a set of mini Chinese calligraphy brushes that were a present from my bestie ages ago that are just about the perfect size for painting in this kind of small scale... and so... 😁

I love how these came out. So much so that I've ordered myself some more black ATC blanks (please excuse the numbers on the photos, I posted them in an ATC trading group and numbered them so people could specify which one they wanted to trade for).

Artfight 2023 updates + reminders

Hey AF Moots! 👋 Putting out a general reminder that I've changed my username (prev ~Lycant) so if you were looking for me to bookmark/follow I'm now ~Absyntthe!

I'm also doing attacks this yr in the form of (digital) Artist Trading Cards as a way to challenge myself. So if you're interested in that, please follow and check in during June for my attack interest form. If you don't know what Artist Trading Cards (ATCs) are, check out this link here x.

I've also updated my policy on sharing attacks! It used to be that I kept my art on AF and only AF. I've decided I will share my attacks on tumblr this year.

And a final reminder that I've hidden my OCs on AF until I start really prepping in June. I'm currently updating all my refs and I'm definitely not going to finish all of them by July. I will finish as many as I can. If, come July, you find that I haven't unhidden the OC you wanted to draw - just shoot me an ask on here or a DM on AF.
