I was checking on Google Nico's height, just out of curiosity. Naturally, I checked Percy's too. So I googled "167cm vs 183cm" and found this interesting result in Quora.

That height difference? Percy's lips would be roughly at the height where Nico's forehead is.

last night i was wondering why i was so sore and exhausted and my temp read 99.2 and i didnt think anything of it and. my throat hurt to swallow and still does and my nose tickles and im sniffly but in a dry way

y'all.................... i'm so close to finishing this fic like. literally three more scenes (three long scenes, but just three scenes). and i just want to YELL ABOUT IT but if i spend time yelling about it then i'm not writing so just know that, in the back of my head, i am ALWAYS YELLIN!

anyway, here's a snippet, just because I NEED TO:

“God, I can’t believe I’m seen in public with you,” Eddie shakes his head. He turns back to the tape pile. “The Outfield, Your Love. Is this the cassingle? Oh my god.”

“Okay, no, this one’s good. Come on, it’s catchy!” They’re out on the street in front of the shop now, Dustin trailing behind them as they head for the minivan parked not too far away. Steve turns to Eddie and grabs his hips, and Eddie goes still like a rabbit in a trap. Steve smiles, wide and bright. “Josie’s on a vacation far away, come around and talk it ooover. Henderson, help me out.”

Dustin laughs, and despite his heavy metal education over the last half hour, he joins Steve, their falsettos cracking from their giggles. “So many things that I want to say,” Steve twists Eddie’s hips, punctuating the beat, “you know I like my girls a little- bit- older.”

“Jesus Christ,” Eddie says, a blush tearing its way across his face, down his throat.

Steve, in a move so smooth Eddie thinks he must have practiced it, spins Eddie by the hips and sends him twirling away. He and Henderson keep up their karaoke, singing into Dustin’s spear like a stand mic.

It’s probably because Eddie’s head is still ringing, Steve’s hands leaving a brand on his hipbones, or maybe he’s just finally learned to tune it out at the worst possible time. Maybe it’s just how his brain works, unable to focus on the most important thing when he really needs it to. Whatever it is, he misses the sounds of whispers growing and building like a static in his ears. He can’t hear it over the sound of joyful, pitchy singing, two of his favorite people in an earned moment of happiness.

Until-

“Dustin, no!” Eddie screams.

The shadow wasn’t there and then it was. One, no, two, great horrible creeping things, their extended fingers like claws. One gets Dustin by the elbow and sinks its teeth into his forearm.

So apparently (and I haven't verified this myself, just read it in my silly little book) in studies about violence rates in mentally ill people *before* the psychopharmologic revolution, violence rates among the population were the same or less than among the general population. After the introduction of drugs that caused akathesia as a common side effect, these rates of violence went up.

The author postulates that there are other contributing factors, such as homelessness following deinstitutionalization. But akathesia is a side effect that makes patients feel like they want to jump out of their own skin, it's an unbearable, indescribable, painful restlessness that has driven many people to suicide or murder. So that may be a contributing factor as well.

Additionally, some of the "violent schizophrenics off their meds" you see on the news are not violent due to their schizophrenia returning, but due to horrible withdrawal symptoms. Stopping antipsychotics abruptly can cause rebound psychosis more severe than one would even naturally have. Woooo!
