hear me out. this little idea crossed my mind the first watch thru, kinda just on vibes... then THEN on second watch thru I have receipts...

1. time can be funky

2. white streak in her hair (also grey like a black white mix, besides just age)

3. she has a look in her eye like idk she knows more, keeping a secret, a playful mischeviousness

4. tells the boys the SAME quote tragic mick told Niko.

5. is very curious and asks a lot of questions.

6. (to my understanding) runs the Lost & Found agency which basically just a big mystery solving department.

HOLY SHIT? got around to watching the new episode and it’s one of the best in the series. im absolutely shocked it’s so good

#camp camp #i had no expectations for the episode. thought it would be not very good consider the shows previous writing #but easily the best episode. nothing even compares to it #like CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT FOCUSED i would have never guessed #it’s so fucking good i cant do this #AND EVERYONE ELSE TOO :’) ahhhh ah it was so fun to watch everyone again #and neils earring gag LMAOO how it ended was so goofy. im a big fan of his loserness #also preston just like me fr fr 👍👍#GODDD I cant get over how good it was #ALSO THE ANIMATIONN😭😭😭 every scene was so well animated. like the quality of the series JUMPED it rules #i need to rewatch it to get my full thoughts on it but dear lord im so happy with how it turned out #and max starting gymnastics :’) that’s so cool. i was hoping he’d be into photography but also something new is nice

Angels’ trueforms in their most memorable moments [26/?] - Nephilim fetus: regular nephil, sired by a regular angel (above) and Jack, sired by Lucifer (below)

#NEW ONE FOR THE FIRST TIME IN AGES!!! I TOLD YALL I WASN'T DONE WITH THIS!!!#SO sorry it took so long. i still can't control my artblocks. but i've had this idea for so long #spn #spnart #spn art #mine.caro #ok so. explanation time. cracking my knuckles. i haven't done this in so long ahhhh #so i HAD to do nephilim eventually. of course. and the key thing about them is they're the children of angels and humans #and i figured i'd start with a fetus bc that's the nephil version of the angel factory settings. and that needed a shape like the AFS did #it felt right to go with a sphere. and after the nephil is born and becomes a more distinct individual etc the spheres unravel in different #ways. some open up like pillbugs (woodlouse? i never know the right name). others sprout like seeds. others spiral out. the possibilities #are endless hehe. and the sphere had to have a mix of angel trueform and human soul. which i've been coding so far as the black and white #trueforms and collages. so that was settled. but that couldn't be it bc it's not just one and the other. they're integrated in one thing #so. for the regular nephil i filled out some cells in black like angel trueforms and others with collages. in the trueforms cells #and it's Earthly Things like plants and body parts and fruits and animals water and the sky and rocks etc. and a bigger solid collage block #that's just body parts. so specifically human stuff. AND THEN i took that sphere (well circle) and cut it up and kintsugi'ed it with #angel grace. feels like a way to go to represent nephil. and then i added the angel wheels to look like a sort of proto version of AFS #and that's regular nephil. for jack he had to be different bc lucifer nephil is thee antichrist. it's different. so i followed the samelogi #but based on the lucifer trueform instead of AFS. so i painted the solid black with alcohol-based markers so i could smudge it with alcohol #and then added the collage bits (more from a fitness magazine than a fashion magazine i used for the other one. gets a more aggressive vibe #i think. more flexed muscles) and painted the chaotic smoke cloud over it. and then i did the same kintsugi process. i was gonna do it in #silver but figured it made no sense. it should be the same. and the black and gold look cool #and what else. regular nephil has a rosary-like umbilical cord! emerging from one of the poles of the sphere so to speak #and jack has none :// partly bc i forgot at first kfjg but then i didn't go back to add it bc i feel that matches fetus jack's situation #considering it's an angel grace umbilical cord #and i think that's it!#these aren't up on the stores yet but im gonna add them now #hope they're worth the wait. if anyone was waiting for more #Trueforms

creating physical and digital media scratch WAY different itches its so unfair

#i have the urge to paint but i want actual paint but uh. i dont have any lol #i have a bunch of wax i COULD mold some for carving but i'd also need to makeshift a bunch of carving tools #not the worst thing to get up to but making tools ergonomic is annoying #ahhhh cest la vie #what i actually want is workable waxed yarn but beeswax is too hard to make it sticky i need uh paraffin wax for that.#making a 3d model out of yarn for donut makes drawing him wayyyy easier #ive thought about the viability of using the beeswax to 'set' waxed yarn sculptures but i worry it would melt the paraffin #make it undo itself #won't know until i remember to get some and try #i would still love to work with paint to be clear just. if i had to pick one lol #phlyaros' nonsense

Lark says "Hi, dad" and it is cold. Tired. Distant. That's all that's left between them-- "Dad" is a hollow thing. There's nothing there. Or, well, maybe one thing is there: Blame. It's someone's fault, and maybe it's Lark's, maybe it's Henry's, but someone's to blame. Maybe both of them are.

Sparrow says "Hi, dad" but what he's really saying is "I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry." He's begging, pleading, and later, when he finds himself all but CLINGING to his father, he knows his apologies are hollow things, and no one is listening. Because yes, Sparrow is his father's son, but oh, Henry is his brother's father, and both have had enough of begging, of boundaries built and broken. But all Sparrow has are apologies--that's all that's left.

Guilt--that's all that's left between the three of them.

hi guys have some RANDOM SOUKOKU HEADCANNONS because i’m procrastinating my holiday homework lol (like i genuinely can’t bring myself to do it so i’ll just uh, cram it all before school actually starts)

contrary to popular belief, dazai is actually the good cook between the two of them :) chuuya burned down the entire kitchen once when he tried to make rice, so dazai removed his kitchen-entering privileges. dazai can actually cook well, he just enjoys seeing the shocked/scared faces of the people he serves his food to when he makes it nasty

dazai replaced their couch with a foldable couch bed because whenever he makes chuuya mad, he gets sent to sleep on the couch, and their old one was uncomfortable and not big enough for his lanky ass legs

chuuya once thought dazai was a burglar when he was drunk and smacked him in the face with a frying pan, which broke dazai’s nose. he (chuuya) cried while apologising when he sobered up

they have movie marathon nights, except they speedrun movies separately and fight to see how many more movies they can watch than the other before the clock strikes 7:00am and dazai has to go to work

when dazai did the “that’s what i love about you!” thing to chuuya when they were younger, chuuya actually wanted to punch dazai because he was so flustered. he actually went back to his room to punch his pillow and scream into it about how much he liked dazai back and how he messed up his response

chuuya likes it when dazai drives, because it’s so adrenaline inducing and it’s funny to see the looks on civilian’s faces when they speed pass them and almost crash into the lamp post

dazai’s home wallpaper is a picture of chuuya drooling in his sleep, and chuuya’s one is of dazai screaming and running away from a dog

i feel like they would both be really good at styling hair and doing makeup from kouyou’s lessons and all the infiltration missions they have to go on... although, i can picture chuuya trying to pry a bite of lipstick out of dazai’s mouth because he read the contents and tried to commit suicide by eating it lol

they have a built in wine cellar in their house (inspo from my aunt’s house lol. she has a fucking wine cellar in there stock full of expensive alcohol and there’s even a catalogue) and it’s super super cold. they have two silly fuzzy pairs of slippers, one is crab designed and the other is slug designed lol

#dangerous grind mindset territory >:(#i get so weird abt wips like #unless its extremely relevant no one is gonna care rly how long it takes #like if someone shared a wip with *me* and they took a while to finish it or never finished it #id still be like ahhhh so cool #but then i get into a weird mindset of like: you need to finish this TONIGHT #and then it never happens lol #as i said its only random occurrences when i can sit down and finish smth in one night #i need to remind myself: these things take time #i think my brain is sometimes running on a deadline that doesn't exist #theres a weird point btwn:#enjoying encouragement bcs it makes you feel more motivated to finish smth #but also feeling this odd sense of guilt and obligation #i draw for myself but literally for my whoel time drawing i often feel obligation towards a nonexistent audience #some imaginary force thats gonna be disappointed if i dont finish smth in [illogical period of time]#its good to have some sense of motivation obv bcs how would you ever finish anything #but its weird to start feeling the same thoughts abt schoolwork for your hobby #basically: I hate setting deadlines for myself bcs it just never works out #if i say 'you must work on this tonight!' i will absolutely not be working on this tonight #funny feeling when you start being like 'aaaahhh everyone is gonna hate me if i dont post this soon'#i think its nice when i can post smth i talk about in a quick turn-around #but rationally i know that if people are interested they wont care how long it takes <3 bcs id feel the same #also i guess i get put out some times seeing how fast other people can create :/#catie has 3 moods(for creation):#a. complete and utter burnout #b. not burnt out but finishing smth takes more than just one day. maybe a wk or more #c. can finish a piece in one day or even one sitting. often draws several things right after the other #C is truly the goat 🙏 i feel blessed when i get into that mindset #blah blah blah please stop feeling beholden to something that doesnt exist. thanks catie.#catie.rambling.txt
