one of my special interests is fnaf but more importantly one of my special blorbos of all time is michael afton. since like (checks hand) 2019 he has been living in my head rent free and for what. Something something that one post that goes Get more out of life read too much into an underwritten character. AND I DID! and now i suffer for it. because do you know how interesting he is. Like yeah okay we never actually get any real development or characterization for him in the games which is like whateverrrrr. i fucking get it everyone is here for ourple guy and fredy fazbar and super scary animatronics and child murder . no one is going to care about literally the main character of the games and also ourple guy’s son who is most likely the catalyst for anything happening. no oen is going to care about the afton family and what is up with them But I Will. because yeah look we don’t get any real info about michael. BUT THE IMPLICATIONS!!! we don’t know what it’s like having william afton as your father But The Implications (does he keep up the good parent act? or, in my opinion the thing that is most likely, is he abusive?). we don’t know why exactly michael bullies his younger brother all the time But The Implications (favorite sibling type shit?? an abused kid with no healthy emotional outlet and an abused kid who seems to ‘have it better’ in his brother’s eyes?). we don’t know what happens to michael or how he feels or how exactly his life changes after he kills his brother But The Implications (would his father be angry? hate him? or would he be proud? would he kick michael out? or would he somehow rope michael into more child murder?). and i hate hate hate that we never really get michael’s feelings on the whole baby = elizabeth thing and also that she is manipulating him, but maybe he’s like going with it because he feels bad for his dead sister. But look i get it. fnaf is not about The Characters. no one cares right. WELL I DO!!!! KICKS ROCKS . scott cawthon i just wish you would’ve thought about my guy michael more considering he is like At The Centre Of It All. and there are so many parallels to draw and narratives to make between him and his father. on the other hand maybe the whole open unwrittenness of it all is good for leaving stuff ambitious and letting the fans interpret it however they want. Which is what i have been doing for the last 4 years if you can’t tell. he’s like an oc to me

what i need is like. a how to guide on improving your food health when you’re a tiny baby who only likes carb heavy savory food and doesn’t like to cook and also hates change. basically i need someone to come in & force me to eat better for me bc experience has shown that i crumple at the slightest bit of hardship when it comes to re-aligning my eating habits. 

oh my god i'm so in love with all the fic ideas you talked about, but especially the last two with the castles kidnapping matt in like a friendly and well-meaning way. it's so funny to me and also the dynamic here would be absolutely excellent. never realised i needed a pro-crime hyper-competent maria castle in my life but apparently i do???

the dynamic in those, but especially the christmas one, is fucking hilarious. i love it so much. i'd write it tomorrow if i had the time

like the castles are treating this like one of those times where you pick up a puppy out of a cardboard box in a kmart parking lot and like, it's a little scrawny and underfed and feral and yeah, it probably would have been smarter to pick one out of the shelter where at least you know they've been checked out and have their shots and everything, but you know, the kids wanted one so bad and it's christmas, and it's cold and the poor thing's probably going to freeze to death in the cardboard box, so you bring it home, and suddenly it's in these new and unfamiliar surroundings and it keeps trying to skitter out the front door every time it opens, so maybe you have to keep it in a back room or tied up for a while and you hand feed it treats until it stops trying to run away and like, you know eventually the puppy's going to warm up to you as long as you treat it right and when that happens you'll have a happy new member of the family that you can probably shove felt reindeer antlers on for the family christmas card

One little thing I try to be consistent with is Mishio's speech pattern. I'm very forgetful so I don't know if I AM consistent with it or if its noticeable but I think it's fun.

Mishio doesn't use contractions (don't instead of do not, I'm instead of I am, etc). Even in his default verse which takes place in just normal modern times when talking like that would seem a little strange and weirdly formal/old fashioned sounding.

This is literally for no other reason then that one of the characters he's inspired by does so and I thought it was very interesting and silly when I noticed.
