Welcome to my new series where I'm randonly going to make posters of 9-1-1 that I believe deserve their own shine. Since I only started to create episode posters at the start of 5b, I obviously never got to create any for past seasons. I thought it'd be a nice activity until the show comes back to us!
1x04 is defently one of the best episodes. Not only do we have the big crash of the airplane and it's nerve wrecking rescue, but also an important moment in Bobby's journey within his relationship of the 118, but also himself. 911 TV Show Poll: Did you start at season 1?
Okay, so we know not everyone started watching when the show first started airing (just jumped in last spring ourselves, so clearly people are still finding the wonder of 911 all the time).
But, after discovering the show, either through tumblr, or watching a random episode, maybe a friend or family got you to watch, etc. Did you then go and watch the show from season 1 and catch up to the show in real time? Or did you just keep watching?
That is the crux of today's poll! And this concept isn't the easiest to ask in one poll question, hence the long winded explanation.

me finishing season 1 of 911 and watching everyone’s arcs conclude in a satisfying if not completely final way:
idk do people warn for spoilers six years after the show came out ??? adding the break anyways in case someone’s also watching for the first time and also because it’s a long post whoopsies
I KNOW I KNOW ABBY AND BUCK DON’T END UP TOGETHER but they’re so sweet to each other… and he’s grown so much in their relationship and it’s so healthy… god i’m so invested in this rehabilitated fuckboy :’)))
and karen coming back to live with hen ???? ooooh girl ik she fucked up HARD but i was crying cheering punching the air for her this whole damn season that is MY comfort lesbian character !!!
now bobby and athena i wish i could say didn’t see coming but unfortunately i hopped on the wiki to look up someone’s last name and was immediately spoiled for shit. HOWEVER i will not let that distract me from angela basset’s back muscles dear GOD. bobby better treat her right because that dress had me on the FLOOR.
chimney might take the position of second favorite character purely because of how fucking funny he is. plus between the dating life and the fucking metal rod through the school the man just can’t seem to catch a break. but he’s still rolling with the punches and being such a support for everyone else and i DESPERATELY need the show to go deeper into his character and background !! someone appreciate this national treasure !!! (plus the fact that rebar is apparently an accepted nickname had me crying laughing for a solid two minutes— the way buck launched up those stairs and started in on him with absolutely NO hesitation ??? and chimney didn’t even question it ??? DONE.)
in conclusion i will be devouring the rest of this series with a furious appetite and having a lot of feelings about it. a lot. patricia’s death caught me by surprise and boy did it have me teary. kudos to the showrunners but also they owe me tissues.

Rewatching 1x01 when they’re at the snake collectors house. Bobby’s going down the hall sliding opening doors and telling the others to check all the rooms. I notice out the window on the left side of the screen…
They filmed in George Hodel’s house. How did I not notice this before?
I know it’s not uncommon for things to be filmed there but for me to only notice it now it wild for me lol I usually would have clocked that first or second time through. Not like… the 10th (being generous here).

damn. So I started that 9-1-1 show
I wanted to see what all the hubbabaloo was about!! it was already on my watch list and I’m glad today I finally had the spoons to watch
This really is such a unique show and ABC just kills it with these things. They really treating every damn episode like it’s their last and they don’t pull ANY punches with the emergencies and disasters. Whew.
Lots of overlap with The Rookie fandom and this fandom (especially Buck’s ship). The pilot was hard to get hooked on. it was actually really hard to get into all the character stories bc i feel like this show's format is so different from typical tv shows but now im addicted - i definitely hold a lot of critiques on the writings of procedures. Just curious to see what kind of research the writers did going into this to write about accurate first responder procedure. Definitely wary of some characters but trusting the process.

Hate the whole Abby storyline and her telling Buck in episode 2 that „some people just don‘t wanna be saved“ and I totally forgot the May plot at the end damn
