#lynx speaks#mmm.. yum#my friend made me avocado toast with eggs over easy on top and. babes i think i get why people enjoy food#its not that i havent eaten yummy food in my life#its just. everything seems like a whole lotta hassle#but as i get older i find myself wanting to relish in that hassle and the time it takes and the work to get something done how i like it#my parents made food utterly unenjoyable and the effort to make that food even moreso#so its nice to discover that this whole cooking thing is actually pretty damn snazzy AND u get a lil treat after (a gift from u to u 😘)#these are SUCH funny tags to put under 'i dream of eggs over easy' but literally i cannot fully express how healing it is#to have the desire to cook for myself and eat foods that i like bc to me. cooking for someone else or urself is sorta the pinnacle of care#to have been seen as a hassle to cook for all my life up until my friend and i reconnected. whaaaale#it left its marks#but also!!!! i care for myself so much now!!#my roommate saw me attempting to make more over easy eggs and said that he always gave up and just made scrambled#cause its difficult and he didnt like it enough to reaaaaally want his eggs that way#and i was like. well i really care for mself. and i know i like my eggs this way. and ya its not easy#but i've only broken about 2.5 eggs of my 8 attempts#and all of them were very very yummy#i deserve yummy things and the effort it takes to get there#ANYWAYS im gonna go attempt 4 more wish me luuuuck 😘🍀

Well... "junk food" is a somewhat arbitrary category. What counts as "junk food" is up to an individual's interpretation most of the time. For instance, is a slice of strawberry tart also considered "junk food"? For my interpretation of this, I'll give it a 6/10. If there were more specific foods, it may be a different rating.

10/10! I'm a HUGE fan of octopus (when it's prepared well, that is. It has a horrible texture if prepared poorly), and octopus carpaccio is a really nice and refreshing dish!! Yum!!
Least Favourite: Conger eel
Likely a 6/10. I've never had it, but I do like other types of eel, so there's a chance I'll like this too. I don't know yet, but I'm open to trying it! ^v^

10/10!!! I LOVE takoyaki so, so, so, so much!! Probably another one of my favourite foods!! Again, octopus! It's so tasty!! And combined with the savoury cake, sauces, and bonito flakes??? Absolutely DELICIOUS.

Sorry Floyd, these are a 9/10 :) I ADORE mushrooms! Shiitakes aren't my favourite type (that'd be Lion's Mane), which is why it's a 9 and not a 10.

Apparently, Vil has specific recipes he uses, so I don't know what his smoothies are like. In general, though, I'd say they're a 6/10 for me. Some are really nice, but smoothies aren't my favourite thing to drink most of the time.
Least Favourite: Mayonnaise
I do enjoy mayonnaise - I'd give it a 7/10. It's tasty, and I use it quite often, on sandwiches, in tuna or pasta salads, mixed with other items to make tartar sauce to go with fish, and so on. (fun fact, you can bake with it, too! there are cake recipes which use mayonnaise instead of oil or butter, and it gives the final product a nice moist texture!)

Favourite: Macarons (barbeque)
For macarons, I'd say 4/10. They're pretty, and fun to make, and sweet. But they can be a bit too sweet for me sometimes.
For barbeque, probably 2/10. 1/10 if it's meat on-the-bone. I don't like meat on bones, and am not the biggest fan of most meats in general :/
Least Favourite: Apple pears
Oh, apple pears can be nice! I'll say 7/10. Not too sweet, nice and crispy... it's a good fruit!

Favourite: Liver paté
Honestly, probably an 8/10. It is a really, really lovely food. I don't have it often, but I really like it any time I do!! (Liver paté is actually one of the few pork-based foods I still eat, so I think that says a lot about how much I enjoy it)
Least Favourite: Garlic
Again, I offer my apologies, darling; I LOVE garlic. Lemon garlic shrimp, skordalia, garlic green beans, garlicky hummus, it's all delicious! 9.5/10! It's definitely more of an ingredient than a food unto itself, though... I'm not the sort to just munch on raw cloves of garlic!

All of these are mainly gonna be reverse falls themed because If you give me the opportunity im taking it
1. Trans Mason gleeful. This is mainly because I also headcanon dipper as trans. It won’t really be mentioned in stuff about mason but it’s a thing that exists in my version of the au.
2. Will doesnt remember his life at all before being tricked into the deal with the gleefuls. This is for angst in later stuff because yum yummy I love angst
3. Will cannot see very well. I mean considering one of his eyes is straight missing and the other has a slit pupil permanently and can’t enlarge it makes sense. It’s not like he straight up can’t see he just has trouble sometimes seeing shit.
4. This one is more of a storytelling thing but I’ll add it here. The gleeful twins aren’t really villains. They’re like…main characters that aren’t good. Like Pacifica. They’re immature, spoiled, traumatized, bullies but not straight up villians.
5. This is also a storytelling thing but I made the characters older so I could portray them better. They’re about 15. They were originally 18 in my version but that just didn’t sit right with me at all. and also considering they would’ve had to be more mature and when I tried making them more mature it didn’t work. I’m trying to work on making my storytelling and art better for preteen characters so yeah. Absolutely not a shipping thing either that’s just kind of weird. (And by that I mean in the context of aging up a child character to ship them with an adult)
6. Will is a bit of an intimidating force with a sort of ghostly presence at the beginning but the more Pacifica and Gideon interact with him the softer he becomes as a character.
7. Will Sees the gleeful twins as both his best friends and his family. They don’t have as bad of a relationship in my version but the main thing they have in common is the fact that theyre all a bit terrified of Stanford and Will is like a comforting figure when the twins need it. They can be a bit unlikable and mean to the guy in their spoiled nature but they’re also immature teenagers who have low self esteem.
8. Mabel is still taller than Mason because lmao Little Dipper

we wanted to get silly and try and find a look to render the wings for future artworks, so here's the collection of the wing render tests!!!
"oyster shell"
first one we did, we wanted to get a bit silly ya? we like the scanline look of it, and the way it looks sorta transparent, it reminds me of like idk. tail lights? we just think its really cool may use in a future drawing that asks for this kind of style. 8/10
2. blur and posterize + trimmed edges
ngl we fucking hate this. posterization sucks because like you cannot control the flow it seals in properly so it goes against the shape. air brush in general no fun. kinda cute trim tho!! 4/10
3. just low opacity layering
honestly looks the most like accurate in terms of the illustrations! it looks sleek and smooth, very nice to the eye and i could actually control the flow. simple, but effective. 9/10
4. halftone
ok this was more of a fuck around and find out but it was a fUN ONE AT THAT!! we have like 4 halftone brushes we never use, and it was nice to use after like a good minute. very stylish!! very yummy. 10/10
5. "aurora borealis"
had to screenie it transparent so you can see the yummy details- pretty close to in-game look minus some things, not a huge fan of the fades though, it feels like the wings are like jellyfish rather than wings. still pretty af. 5/10
6. you can barely see it but its like noisy
like the low opacity layering, simple yet effective. i like the grain a bit, might be good for poster look. not mych going for it beyond that though. 6/10
7. my silly personalized blend brush (its literally everything i ever needed)
it takes so many strokes and so much fucking storage but SHEEEEEESH does this look yummy!! very pyrogenic looking, its just yummy. would be great for a huge like epic painting. wish i had the will to do that. 10/10
8. moire
yet another fuck around and find out and SHEEEEEEEESH would be good for that silly gabriel hologram (fucking love that guy) or really stylized shit. yum :3 8/10
9. wispy thing idk
no idea how to feel about this one, but its yummy looking too! reminds me of one of those windows media player visualizers, you know the one. feels early 2000s, which i looove. 8/10
