Saw that you watched The Meg 2 and just wanted to let you know (bc most people don’t know this) that apparently the movies are book adaptations lol

i did know that!! i've thought abt giving them a try. i don't typically read books by men but i sometimes make exceptions lol. the first movie i really enjoyed and i rewatch it all the time, this one is worth seeing just for the last half hour of it imo but there were parts of it i was not really invested in and wondering where the sharks were lmao

Most of my jobs have been working for publically funded arts organizations but I think the gov should slash as much spending as it can and redirect that to building public housing and repairing the healthcare system. as well as reducing immigration by like 90%

Do you think some marvel shows are spending too much money? ngl, i dont get why hawkeye was 150mil to produce when it was pretty street-level. i cld see how ms marvel and loki was 150mil with their cgi... and then theres secret invasion that was 220mil that def did not seem justifiable with the writing. tbh, i think marvel shd just write their shows as tv shows rather than pushing the whole "6 ep movie" thing. echo did amazing for production being 40mil.

So true. The high budget may also attribute to the constant reshoots. I think they're trying to figure out how to actually do the D+ shows since it's so new. Maybe Marvel Studios has also become used to their projects making an insane amount of money that they started to believe budget wasn't an issue.... until they started making unsuccessful projects.

But Echo was excellent with such a small budget. I hope Ms Marvel season 2 is greenlit with a lower budget. Kamala's powers are probably expensive but she's a bit of a combatant too so they can limit her just standing still and the Noor coming out of her hands. Secret Invasion was the stupidiest thing they've done. The budget was way too high for something that should have been more of a spy thriller. The budget should have been spent on more familiar faces. Sharon?? Daisy??

People running to internet spaces that don't exclusively cater to what they want, but demanding that said space that's not what they want to experience should change. Will never not cease to amaze me. Like WTF ARE YOU DOING HERE.

BTW box office/tv success raises your star power way more than awards. Studios want to make money and have bottoms in seats at cinema and tuning in on streaming. Tom's achieved both. Leo is a great example for that, the man pulled $40mil for his last project and he severely lacks awards for how long he's been on the business.

And anon Tom doesn't owe any of us his schedule, if he wants to take it ine thing announced at a time, then let him do that. Go to your beloved JE whose next 10 projects we know of. People did the same with Z with Sydney and her 4-6wk filming projects.

I just want some of you to admit that you're living vicariously though Tom and you've forgotten that it's his life not yours you're projecting all these things towards. Go outside get a hobby. And Social media isn't a measure of how big a person's Fandom is. The success of Uncharted and TRC streaming top 3 every week while it was on, means there's clearly those offline interested in Tom and what he does.

Well in terms of money in the end when Charles gets his money back from Pierre it would have only cost the couple 40 million to resolve this issue not counting the other financial benefits from their mating. Which is not much compared to the severity of the issue. Though before they are together together for Charles it would be like “fuck Max to get everything in life, so easily too”

My brain just went on the tangent of traditional relationships and the wifey managing the house and finances. Though in this verse is definitely looking like Max taking care of everything and “baby you can just sit back and look pretty” 😂

Does Max have the cats in this verse? Or are they getting cats?

not to out myself about forgetting this detail, but I honestly cannot remember whether I've mentioned the cats yet. I THINK maybe they were in ch 2? when Charles got to the apartment??? but that could very well have been another fic I wrote so. also it's so true, Max would have gotten all that money back ... except technically Charles gave it all to Pierre. so Charles has no claim on it, and therefore Max doesn't either! of course, as you said, if he does get it back in the end, then that would be a different story. Max would only have to sell Charles for 40mil+ to turn a profit, and that's very business savvy of him!! aannnddd even if he DID sell Charles, he is always going to be Charles' mate. Charles could be owned by another alpha, but legally his money would STILL go to Max. so. Max really made MOVES.

also ... yeah. Max wants to live his sugar daddy life, and Charles is going to let him.
