Turn On/Off Replacements: No Zombies Edition
+ 3t2 Trait Support
This is basically an update of my TO replacements, but I want to keep the post clear, so I'm sharing it as a new version.
Here's what got changed:
⭐ No More Glasses Zombie TO
Instead of zombies, you'll get a brand new TO: Enthusiast. It's triggered by sims who are invested in their hobbies.
⭐ 3t2 Trait Support
If you use 3t2 traits, sims with fitting traits will trigger directly related turn on/offs. This is only a subtle flavor; if you want the whole chemistry system to be trait-based, this mod isn't for you. These replacements still work just as well even if you don't have 3t2 traits in your game.
⭐ Polished Icons
All the TS4 icons are now slightly smaller and hopefully work better with UI replacements. I also changed or edited some that I felt needed improving.
There are still two versions of the mod: the other replaces the Grey Hair TO with the Mersim one, the other leaves it untouched. Both versions are included with the download.

Files are compressed. Probably requires all EPs. Conflicts with other turn on/off replacements (including my old versions), tunaisafish’s Attraction Traits Fix, and might conflict with cologne-related mods.
Compatible with UI replacements as long as this mod loads after.
🚨🚨 The Mersim version requires Midge’s Mermaid Mod.
Translations included: Spanish, Italian, Swedish, Finnish.
Update (31.3.2024): The alien trait by @tammyhybrid21 now triggers the Alien TO too.
Update (11.1.2024): Enthusiast TO now replaces zombies instead of glasses.
Update (11.1.2024): Changed it so that business owners with level 6 or higher business and young adults with a GPA 3.7 or higher also count as hard workers.

Cologne -> Life Skills (has learned at least two of the life skills)
Stink -> Poor (household fortune* ~§20 000 or lower)
Underwear -> Rich (household fortune* ~§100 000 or higher)
Swimwear -> Great Dancer (dance skill 6 or higher)
Formalwear -> Pet Lover (has at least two pet friends or the Animal Lover trait)
Full Face Makeup -> Talented (has at least one silver or gold talent badge)
Hats -> Good Reputation (reputation level Reputable Resident or better)
Jewelry -> Bad Reputation (reputation level Lousy Loser or worse)
Custom Hair -> Alien (either skintone, eyes, or both, or the alien trait)
Zombie -> Enthusiast (level 5 or higher on at least one hobby)

Here's two different replacements for the base game lab coats because @episims and I seem to have no self control.
First option: umbodylabcoat (TM-EM) replaced with an open lab coat, to match my ufbodylabcoat default. It's a mashup of @deedee-sims 3t2 Esmeralda's Coat and @mdpthatsme 4t2 Pants Dress, with textures by Trapping, Rope and Epi (who made the white coat texture, and also made pockets! 🤩). Around 4K polys (for reference, Maxis lab coat has 2K); has fat morph, but no preg morph.

Special thanks to Lifa for the age conversion WSOs.
Second option: umbodylabcoat (TM-EM) and ufbodylabcoat (TF-EF) replaced with MDP 4t2 Doctors and @moyokeansimblr age conversions, with new recolours by Epi. Original default is by @lottie-sims but it was for adults only, and replaced only one (out of two) of the AF recolours. Meshes are 4-5K polys and both genders are included in the same package. All morphs.
Download v2: SFS | MEGA
An addon to the replacement above: umbodymadscientist (AM-EM) and ufbodymadscientist (AF-EF) replaced with another recolour of 4t2 Doctors, which is *checks notes* 4t2 GP07 Scientist. Also by Epi! This one is referenced to the labcoat replacement (meshes and shoes texture), so you will need that one (v2).

And finally: two versions of the same mod, by Epi. Originally, the two recolours of the lab coat were assigned to sims according to their career level. With this mod (both v1 and v2), sims on the Medicine career will use one of the recolours (green top/shirt if you use these defaults), and sims on the Science career will use the other one. The alternative version of the mod (v2) also makes theorists in the Science career use the mad scientist outfit. Apparently, theorists used to wear some leather jacket? Thank you, Maxis.

Hi! I MUST learn more about your spreadsheet! I saw you mentioned in another ask how you figure out your sim's OTH, Asperation, etc but how does the process work? :D
Hi! Thanks for your question. :)
Well, it's a bit too complicated to describe in any great detail, but essentially for each characteristic, I have devised an individual formula that determines the strength of that characteristic for each Sim, on a scale from -1 to 1, with -1 meaning that they absolutely don't have that characteristic and 1 meaning that they absolutely do; anything between -1 and 1 gives the relative strength of the characteristic, and zero is neutral.
For each characteristic, I sum the 3t2 Traits that count positively towards having that characteristic, subtract those that count negatively towards it, modify according to personality and interests, then normalise by the number of factors that I've taken into account.
So, to take just one example, the formula that determines whether a Sim has the OTH of Sport takes into account whether the Sim is Ambitious, Athletic, Equestrian, Party Animal, Social Butterfly or Vehicle Enthusiast (3t2 Traits that I count as 'positive' factors for a OTH of Sport - I see Sport as quite a gregarious hobby, for Sims who are obviously ambitious for their team to win!), or whether they are Brooding, Eccentric or Loner (3t2 Traits that I see as 'negative' factors for a OTH of Sport). It also considers how active they are, and of course how interested in sport they actually are!
Sport is the highest-scoring OTH for Bertram Bennet, with a score of 0.51. He's active (9) with a reasonably strong natural interest in sport (6.3), and while he doesn't have any of the 'positive' traits, he doesn't have any of the 'negative' ones either.
Of course, I have my own ideas of what makes a Sim more likely to have a particular Trait, OTH, Aspiration, Career or Turn-on/off, and they might differ from other people's, but it works for me.
I've recently installed @lamare-sims 50 New LTWs, and for completeness I should probably incorporate those into my spreadsheet, but that would mean adding 50+ more columns, and that seems a little daunting! For Sims created before I installed them, I've been using @lamare-sims LTW Chooser to select the most appropriate LTW from those available to them (based on their other characteristics), and for Sims born-in-game since then, I'll be letting the LTW Chooser select for me, and seeing how that goes.

Has anyone else had a problem with the simbology-twojeffs 'No friends needed for careers' mod clashing with something? I'm guessing something 3t2 trait related as they are the mods I most often download these days. My sims have all skills and full performance bar and still not getting promoted after days and days 😢😒
edit: nevermind, just saw on the conflict thread it says naturally good at their jobs file 'traits_promotionChange' conflicts with it. I'll try changing the load order around!
Edit 2: It worked!! no friends needed loading last worked! Don't know how that affects the trait mod now, but whatevs

Hi CreeSims. Can you explain me what the gameplay is in Paradise Falls? I'm very curious!
Sure, and I'm happy to answer any questions if there's something I don't cover here
Vault 88 is a 3-story, 18tile by 18tile building on a 2x2 lot. I had to start building on a 3x3 lot then use lot adjuster to shrink it, that little bit of extra space really does make a difference. It let me build rooms that feel like tight quarters without having routing issues
First floor is workrooms. They are, starting on the lower left: Clinic with Biotech station and a few Sun & Moon herb plants. Gym. Food Production with compost bin and Midge's 3t2 indoor garden plots. Ichthyology lab (big fish tank). Geology lab with Sun & Mon Refine & Shine equipment, an invisible mining rook on top of the hole in the ground, and @nixedsims blacksmith station. The middle room is Vault Maintenance with woodcarving, robot, and toymaking benches. Front right room is the quartermaster department with gnome making, flower arranging, sewing, and candle making craft stations.
Second floor is recreation. Music room with a wine bar. Cafe with MajorJeff's Chocolate Factory and a Uni stove. There's an invisible pond on the floor by the balcony so Sims can fish into the big tank below. Games room. Hot tub room. Media room. The middle is the Overseer's Office with a computer Sims can use
Top floor is living quarters. Each apartment is 2 rooms with a bed and dresser. Communal bathroom in the middle with 3 stalls, 3 Uni showers, and a potty trainer for toddlers. The room at the end has stuff for toddlers to play with and build skills. The hall on the right has a washer and dryer for Sims who want to build cleaning skill, the other hall has a 1-tile changing table and a Supa Fridge so Sims can get baby bottles
Each apartment starts with 2 adult Sims, plus there will be landlord, postal worker, and cafeteria worker NPCs visiting the Vault which makes the place feel nice and full. After Sims rent their apartments I use the Insiminator to take away all their money
Sims can't work careers because they can't leave the vault but they are assigned duties based on their LTW, One True Hobby, and 3t2 traits. All of those are randomized using the AnyLTWforallaspirationsAL mod (I think it's by Pescado), @midgethetree's Randomizer, and the Traits randomizer. Some vault jobs are obvious, my Sim with the Cuisine hobby and Professional Party Guest LTW makes money by working in the cafe or playing guitar for tips. One of my Science enthusiasts is the medic who harvests herbs and makes medicine at the Biotech station. But for some of the jobs you'll need to get creative with the crafting stations, which is why I recommend having a nice variety. One of my science Sims is in charge of making sure the Vault infrastructure is in good repair, she makes robots to simulate doing this. One Sim uses novel writing to simulate doing paperwork, another is using it to write a cookbook
I sell everything they make right from the inventory because they can't own businesses yet and I want them to have enough cash that it influence's Cyjon's Bigger Bills mod. I keep track of how much they spend on rent and bills so that later, when they start leaving the vault, I can incorporate a little bit of BACC play and have that money go into buying things for the hood. They can use their money to buy kids stuff when they have a family, or deco stuff from the Buy Catalog to spruce up their rooms, or just save it for when someone in that apartment chooses to leave the vault
My Sims usually work on their Vault jobs until about 5 or 6 pm, then they socialize and canoodle with their roommate or other Vault dwellers. I'm about to start round 2 and will be focusing on moving Sims around if they'd be a better fit with a different roommate and getting them to start having babies (limit of 2 kids per apartment). The plan right now is to keep everyone in the vault until the first kid is University age. By then the Vault will be feeling crowded and the kids will be wanting to know what else is out there

Could you create a Sims 3t2 job as Mixologist from Late Night?
Normally I don't take requests like that as that means making it from scratch. I looked up the skill and indeed there's no such career in The Sims 3 so I cannot just convert it. However there's such a career of The Sims 4 that I already converted: http://simfil.es/4250712/
It's in Beta but that just means I haven't made a screenshot yet. It's finished and should work fine.

Here are some basic recolors for career/social services lots!
The first is of Pooklet's overhaul of Mog's Illuminated Shop Sign found here. I found there's several versions of this shop sign, like honestly I had three different versions of it in my dl folder, but the mesh attached is the one i made recolors for. I truly do not know where it originates from but it is pooklet's version that's for sure. I messed with it, categorizing it to wall hangings but switched it back when I realized wall hangings is likely too cluttered for other simmers so it's back to the original Lighting -> Misc.
The second is of Amovitam's 3t2 Gym Painting found here. It's part of a 3t2 conversion set, so I recommend grabbing the other items! I chose this bc I like the size, it's something I use all the time already, and well it was the first one I thought of lol. Mesh is included for convenience sake.

Just in time for the holidays is my last group of defaults for UF outfits. This post has half the UF everyday outfits. All ages have fat morphs, adults also have preg morphs. Anything available to adults has been made available to young adults as well, and vice versa. Where applicable I’ve noted if a multiage replacement has repo’d textures.

Hi! I am sorry if I missed it somewhere, but I was wondering how you determine your sims' characteristics (favorite colors, traits, hobby, and the others)? Do you use a generator or some other method? I am really inspired by Merybury and love seeing your posts on my dash. Thank you!

Thanks for your lovely message. :)
I use a spreadsheet of my own devising to determine almost all the aspects of my Sims' characteristics. I have mentioned it before, but I'm rather pleased with it, so happy to talk about it again!
So, the spreadsheet calculates, from a Sim's personality and interests, the likelihood of their having a particular 3t2 trait, OTH, Aspiration, Career (and hence LTW) or Turn-on/off, but I can still apply my own discretion to choose between two or more competing characteristics, depending on what I feel might suit that Sim best.
I've worked out my own mathematical relationships between personality/interests and each of these factors.
This is a broad overview of how it works:
Personality + Interests + Parental Traits => 3t2 Traits
Personality + Interests + 3t2 Traits => OTH
Personality + Interests + 3t2 Traits + OTH => Aspiration
Personality + Interests + 3t2 Traits + OTH + Aspiration => Career (LTW)
Personality + Interests + 3t2 Traits + OTH + Aspiration => Turn-ons/off
As a bonus, I also calculate these:
Personality + 3t2 Traits + Aspiration => Ideal # Children
Personality + 3t2 Traits + Aspiration => Individual Risky Woohoo Rate
The only things I don't determine this way are favourite colour (the colour(s) of their everyday outfit when they age up to child - I figure they have chosen it for themselves) and orientation (mostly randomly assigned by ACR, but sometimes I override this if I have a particular feeling about an individual Sim). And I let them choose their university major themselves.

Latest little project! Ever since @themeasureofasim posted this, I’ve wanted to use that method to add ages to hair defaults. Finally got around to it!
For all intents and purposes, this won’t really affect you if you just want to download defaults and put them in your game, but I prefer my files this way. My previous method of adding ages was to add decustomized files in the same families, but now I can instead replace hidden clones and make those appear in the catalog. I tried something like that back in 2019 but never actually figured out the “appear in the catalog” part.
Anyway, hair defaults! Everything is for all ages.
afhairpixie and afhairpixie_ep7 replaced with 3t2 Roaring 20′s, 2800 polys. The ep7 clone is still its own thing, hidden in catalog, but I replaced it since it can appear on hobby mavens.

afhairmidwavemature replaced with 3t2 Wavy Bob, 4400 polys. Literally the same replacement I’ve made twice already, but using the new method.
