There's something to be said for that period where your depression absolutely bottoms out and literally nothing brings you any joy or keeps you awake, and you decide you may as well be productive if you're not able to be happy and you actually get a chore or two done.

Ya girl just got a 1 week ban from Reddit for posting your garden variety r/2meirl4meirl yesterday
Meanwhile, it took 2-3 days for them to tell me that the person going around saying that all trans people are predators did not in fact break Reddit's rules against the anti-hate speech rules

I watched Barbie!
I see why they had the 15+ rating and glad we didn't sneak my nephew in lol
Good movie!
Feel-good movie if you're depressed (and I recently got diagnosed kinda)
I almost cried twice but idr when
Good movie. Fun movie.
The spoilers I saw were spoilers, sure, but still didn't give much about the actual 2nd half of the movie and the end
So if you've seen spoilers and are worried you won't enjoy it, I think you will
Spoiler about a small thing that I enjoyed that needs to be said (depressed Barbie)
When they came back for depressed Barbie
I've been there when I didn't have the energy to move and do my tasks
So depressed Barbie gives up and that's valid for her. Sometimes you want to give up. But sometimes you give up because you just don't have the energy to continue.
I have literally curled up in the bathtub because I did not have the energy or motivation to stand up and get shampoo because I was too depressed.
And I was scared that they were going to chastise her for giving up. Because that's what happens, people slap the person and that motivates them and knocks some sense into them.
And, if you've never been depressed, if you don't know what depression is like, like me in the past, you think that's how it's supposed to be
But no. I was about to hate Sasha for being so mean to depressed Barbie till I realized she doesn't know better.
And then when they came back to rescue Barbie, and she's still there and lying on the ground, and then the rest of the movie happens without anyone scolding her
That was good.
That's depression and what I wish people around me would understand.

I had a good run, new job, new car, more contact with a friend. But my run of good days is over and depression will likely fill out the rest of my year and the start of next year, go me.
