Appeal after woman's body found in woods

Detectives are appealing for information after police were called to the body of a woman in a wood in Hounslow.   Police were called at 11:29am on Tuesday to Donkey Wood off Staines Road in Hounslow after reports of a body in a river.   Officers attended and a 61-year-old woman from the Feltham area was recovered from the river, she was pronounced dead at the scene.   Although the woman has not been formally identified, police are confident they know who she is.   The woman’s family have been informed and they are being supported by specialist officers   The death is being treated as unexpected and unexplained and a crime scene is in place.   A post-mortem examination will take place in due course.   Witnesses or anyone with any information are asked to call police on 101 or contact them via Twitter @MetCC quoting CAD 2602/20DEC.   Information can be given anonymously by contacting Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.   #policeappeal #appeal #donkeywood #stainesroad #housnlow #feltham Read the full article

heyy sorry i havent been posting for awhile :( lifes just been busy yk n ive been trying to like wake up in the middle of the night n write like i always did but ive just been sooo tired lately i couldnt wake up lol

But the language isn’t like that of Israel’s article. And I don’t know what US officials may or may not have said.. because well, I didn’t see anything.

And of course, Iran is making more empty threats. I say empty, because Iran hasn’t followed through with a single threat thus far. It’s the boy who cried wolf.

And it’s not a question at this point whether ships are being attacked, they are. It’s not a question of whether the US bases have been attacked (100 times thus far as of December 17, 2023). It’s merely a question of whether or not the US is going to escalate hostilities in response to ships being attacked indiscriminately at this point, merely for crossing the Red Sea. And if the US does so act, will any action be taken against them? US bases are already being attacked..

And this article came out 3 days ago, 97 is now 100.

And US battleships have already been fired on. But the US, despite what little has been posted about Israel supposedly being told they have to cease hostilities by the end of the year… has refused thus far to make a sizable retaliation for the actions taken against them.

So… will the US attack Yemen in any sort of meaningful way to make up for the attacks on the cargo ships? Scare them back? And if such an attack takes place, will the world tolerate it, due to the amount of money these attacks are costing international commerce?

Or will this turn into word war 3, right when all the major Christmas shopping for the year has already taken place?

Findings indicate that the ongoing war between Hamas and Israel in the Gaza Strip has had a significant impact on a range of internal Palestinian issues and on Palestinian-Israeli relations. The most important of these effects can be summarized in the following changes:

Support for Hamas has more than tripled in the West Bank compared to three months ago. In the Gaza Strip, support for Hamas increased but not significantly. Despite the increase in its popularity, the majority in both the West Bank and the Gaza Strip does not support Hamas. It is worth noting that support for Hamas usually rises temporarily during or immediately after a war and then returns to the previous level several months after the end of the war.

Support for President Mahmoud Abbas and his Fateh party drops significantly. The same is true for the trust in the PA as a whole, as demand for its dissolution rises to nearly 60%, the highest percentage ever recorded in PSR polls. Demand for Abbas's resignation is rising to around 90 percent, and even higher in the West Bank. Despite the decline in support for Fatah and Abbas, the most popular Palestinian figure remains Marwan Barghouti, a Fatah leader. Barghouti is still able to beat Hamas’ candidate Ismail Haniyeh or any other.

Support for armed struggle rises ten percentage points compared to three months ago, with more than 60% saying it is the best means of ending the Israeli occupation; in the West Bank, the percentage rises further to close to 70%. Moreover, a majority in the West Bank believes that the formation of armed groups in communities subject to settler attacks is the most effective means of combating settler terrorism against towns and villages in the West Bank.

Despite the above-mentioned reference to the lack of confidence in the seriousness of US and European talk about reviving the two-state solution and despite the increase in support for armed struggle, support for the two-state solution has not dropped in this poll. To the contrary, support for this solution has increased slightly in both the West Bank and the Gaza Strip. This increase seems to come especially from those who believe that the US and European talk about the two-state solution is indeed serious.
