Dritte Wahl & Honigdieb@JunkYard, 18.08.2023
Schön, dass mir Honigdieb-Bassist und Kumpel Chester Bescheid gesagt hat, dass ich mir mal wieder ein wenig Punk im einzigen Rockladen in Dortmund reinziehen kann. Es war zwar noch hell, aber Honigdieb mit ihrem exzentrischen Sänger Sir Hannes (den jeder Rockfan in Dortmund kennt) hat mal wieder alle verzaubert und auch wieder tief in die Verkleidungskiste gegriffen, was das Ganze immer noch unterstreicht. Der Sound auf der Open-Air-Bühne war auch schön fett und der Bass kam besonders gut raus zum deutschen Funk-bis-Punk-Crossover. Ein besonders leckerer Hingucker war dabei noch die mittlerweile dritte Bühnenakteurin Fatima, die leichtbekleidet lasziv die Stimmung anheizte. Die volle Spielzeit nutzte dann das olle Punktrio Dritte Wahl aus und machte auch mit der aktuellen Single "Das regelt der Markt" Furore. Ausgelassen ging es so bis ins Dunkel und die deutsche Spießerregel für das Ende von Livekonzerten endgültig in Kraft tritt. Der Alkohol floss und geile Stimmung. Spaß garantiert. Etwas zu politisch und somit auch für mich nicht ansprechend fand ich den Antifa-Stand. Aber, naja, gab ja keine Ausschreitungen und die Hauptsache ist, dass gut gefeiert wurde. Dritte Wahl haben's auf jeden Fall noch drauf und die höre ich ja auch schon seit den 90ern.

We’re back, back, back again! Uni isn’t supposed to start till next week, but I got access to one of my classes early! This one isn’t supposed to start till the 29th but I’m using my free time to start easing back into things, I took notes and made revision questions from the introduction and now I’m on to chapter one!
