WIP Wednesday - 11-1-23 (Open) | Math Nerd AU
"Both have their use." Riko repeats and seems to be lost in thought. It's not something that Ichirou would usually let himself do in public but he can have some grace for his younger brother.
He enjoys his tea in the silence as Riko works his way through the lesson.
"Then if they both have their uses," Riko says dark eyes landing on Ichirou, "then both of them have their drawbacks." he says.
Ichirou almost smiles, he only refrains because he can see Steven coming back with the swiftly tailored blue suits.

"Can you please tell me how you ended up on the front page of the baldur's mouth, aGAIN?" Gale asks as he shakes his head, almost desperate at the words in the article. "Upper city's nightmare?' Karlach for the love of Mystra tell me you didn- actually, don't tell me yet."
She stood there, mouth open as she was about to reply, her finger was pointed up as if to try and let herself be seen, but before she can even think to say a syllable, Gale is reading out loud again.
"One of the heroes of the gate has been caught causing mayhem in the upper city. A reliable source, which we won't disclose for legal reasons, has informed us that Karlach Cliffgate, baldurian citizen, has disturbed a poor old lady that was strolling through the market." He stopped there, refusing to read forward, and staring defeated at the tiefling.
"J-just tell me it was for a serious matter" Gale pleads desperate.
"I wanna say it was, but actually-"
