Been A While

Kim Jungsu Summary: After leaving Jungsu you thought you’d never see him again, but five years later here he is standing right in front of you. (non-idol au) WC:~1k Warning:none

Pulling the chair out you took a seat beside one of your friends at a cafe.

“Y/n we were just talking about hanging out tonight. Do you want to come?” your friend asked.

“What’s the occasion?” you asked.

“One of my brother’s friends is coming back from being abroad, so we’re getting together to welcome him back,” they answered.

“I don’t know him though,” you half laughed.

“It’s mainly so I won’t be lonely. Please?” they pouted.

“I’ll be there too. Come on, you wouldn’t leave us alone right?” your other friend joined in.

“If you two are together then you’re not alone,” you sassed.

“Y/n~” they both complained.

“Ok, I’ll come,” you gave in. The two of your friends cheered.

You and your friends arrived at your friends house where the get together was being held. Your friend led you through their house to the back door. Telling you guys that everything was set up outback.

“Jungsu!” your friend called once you stepped into the backyard. Jungsu? No, it couldn’t be him? Sure enough it was. Your eyes met his from where he stood across the yard. You weren’t supposed to see him again, yet here he was standing in front of you.

“Y/n?” Jungsu said.

“You two know each other?” your friend’s brother questioned. You knew Jungsu all too well, or at least you used to.

The stars shone brightly in the night sky as you and Jungsu were out on a moonlit walk. You never imagined that you would fall in love while volunteering in an underdeveloped town. Originally you were supposed to come here to write your thesis. Love was the last thing on your mind, but then you met Jungsu and everything felt so right.

Jungsu was also volunteering in the town. He was a temporary teacher to the young children. You met him in the small classroom he taught at. You were sitting in on one of his classes to observe. The small children absolutely adored him. It was impossible to find it endearing. He was gentle and kind to them, but also knew how to keep his authority.

“Was class good enough to write your thesis about?” he asked you after class when the children had left.

“I can definitely write things about it. ‘The young students were eager to learn as they looked at their teacher with heart eyes-’ oh wait I think that was me.”

“Are you flirting with me?” He had a hint of pink to his cheeks.

“I have other places to be, but I’ll see you tomorrow,” you smiled coyly. You swung your bag over your shoulder and left the little classroom.

“Jungsu, it’s been a while,” you say.

“How do you two know each other?” your friend asked.

“Remember that volunteer work I told you about?” you said.

“The one you wrote your thesis about?” they checked. You nodded.

“He was also a volunteer there at the time,” you informed.

“What a small world,” your friend’s brother comments.

After your little reunion the hangout proceeded as normal. Except for you and Jungsu who couldn’t stop taking glances at one another. It felt so surreal to see him again. You were sure when you left that town, you would never see Jungsu again. That’s why you stayed longer than you needed to.

“I finished my thesis a week ago,” you told Jungsu. You can feel Jungsu tense from where he sits beside you on a large rock that’s beside the river.

“You’re leaving?” he says.

“I was never gonna stay here forever. We both knew I’d leave eventually.”

“Eventually used to feel far away,” Jungsu states. It’s true. When you first arrived in the town it felt like you’d be away from home for a long time, but suddenly it was time to go back, past time.

“I know. I remember getting stuck about halfway through and thinking that I might be here forever…and that I wanted to throw my laptop into the river.” You and Jungsu let out a sad laugh.

“So if I throw your laptop in the river you’ll stay?” he says.

“What’s scary is I think I might let you.” Jungsu’s hand finds yours on the rock. His fingers curl around your hand.

“It’s scary that I thought about doing it too.”

“We really love each other don’t we?” You rest your head on his shoulder.

“That’s why we have to let each other go,” he states solemnly.

“Not just yet though. I still got a couple of days here,” you tell.

“Oh trust me. I’ll hold you till you get on that truck.” Jungsu moves to wrap his arms around you in a hug.

The rest of the group has retired inside of the house for the night. You and Jungsu remained outside.

“The stars were prettier there,” you comment.

“The children really missed you after you left,” he tells you.

“I wasn’t really there all that long though,” you say.

“Long enough for them to look at you with heart eyes-oh wait, that was me.”

“Are you flirting with me?” Jungsu shrugged coyly. “I really thought about staying,” you reveal.

“I thought about it too. Staying there with you. Having a life together,” he admits

“Do you think there’s some other version of us that’s still there?” you question.

“If there is, I'm a bit jealous of them,” he answers. “But since we get to meet again I’m happy with this version of us too,” he voices.

“So do I have to ask you out again or?” you ask sheepishly

“I don’t remember you asking me out the first time. I remember you kissing me and we started dating afterwards but I don’t think you asked me,” he lightly teased you.

“Me kissing you was asking,” you declared.

“Then I think you need to do it again,” he said leaning closer to you. You locked your hands together behind his neck and closed the distance between you two. His hands find their way to your waist just like they used to. After a couple of moments you pull away.

“I’m not letting you go this time,” he says.

“I’m not going anywhere this time,” you return. You fall against his frame. Your arms coming around his middle in a hug. Jungsu happily wraps his arms around you, keeping you close to him.

XDH + S/O ASKING THEM TO SHOWER TOGETHER FOR THE FIRST TIME

genre: fluff, suggestive at times, comedy.

GUN-IL

- he would look at you immediately with his eyes shining;

- "wow love, I was already thinking that you would never invite me, I was actually excited";

- it would be a fun bath, even seeming like something usual, he would help you with the soap, you would help him wash his hair, you would splash water on each other;

- but we are talking about gun-il, so surely at some point you would end up fucking in the shower (the water bill going through the roof);

- in the end you left tired, but you would be happy to have such a memorable first bath together.

GAON

- Jiseok would jump out of bed when he heard you ask him that, the boy would run towards you and ask "is this serious? Finally!!!";

- he would show his happiness all the time, seriously, taking off his clothes he would be looking at you like 🥰🥰🥰;

- a really fun bath too, you would laugh at him almost falling, he would laugh at you almost going blind with the soap falling into your eyes, but there would be cute moments too;

- ok, makeout session would happen at some point, gaon wouldn't resist with you glued to him all the time;

- after the bath you would be laughing in the wind like two fools in love.

JUNHAN

- he would look at you surprised at first, his cheeks would definitely turn red;

- "you know, love... I don't know, I don't think I'm ready yet";

- you would respect it and go to the shower alone, but in reality Junhan was ready, but he was embarrassed, after thinking a lot he would end up changing his mind and going to meet you (leaving you very surprised, but happy);

- at first the shower would be normal so to speak, you were still a little shy, but little by little you started to loosen up and soon you would be hugging each other under the shower;

- this event would bring you even closer together, junhan would stay closer to you and even ask if you could shower together again the next day.

JOOYEON

- in fact I imagine that with Jooyeon you wouldn't even need to ask, when you went to look for him the boy would already be waiting for you in the bathroom;

- "why that surprised face? I heard you tell your friend on the phone that you were going to spice things up between us";

- yes, you would definitely blush at that, but then you would start laughing and just take him to the stall after they had undressed;

- jooyeon would irritate you a lot in the shower, disturbing you from applying soap to your body, you would retaliate by messing up his hair, but there would come a point where you would be kissing (a bonus: his silly hands would often be on your breasts);

- they would barely have gotten out of the shower and he would be annoying you saying "baby, let's get dirty and go back to the shower, I want to touch your breasts again".

O.DE

- I imagine O.de having a more neutral reaction, as if it were something routine for you to ask him this, so he would simply agree with the idea;

- you would wonder if he wasn't excited about the situation, but when they entered the bathroom you would realize that he was excited, he was just trying to hide it;

- he would look you up and down, you would say with shame "stop fucking me with your eyes seungmin!" and he would respond "I'll only stop if I want to eat you in another way";

- they would already get in the shower making out, he's not the type of guy who wastes time, a shower would only happen after he achieved his goal;

- after everything, already lying in bed, seungmin would be taking care of you with great affection, he would caress your back and tell you how much he enjoyed taking a shower with you.

JUNGSU

- with Jungsu I imagine a slightly different situation, you had no intention of calling him, but he would follow you in the room while you picked up your things so you already imagined what he wanted and ended up surrendering;

- he would be as happy as a child running in the most adorable way possible to get his things;

- already in the shower he would ask you "honey, can I give you a bath? I swear it's without malice";

- and it really was without malice, he bathed you as carefully as possible as if you were a baby, overall it would be a very romantic bath, you would give quick kisses and hugs;

- when you were applying post-bath cream on your arms Jungsu would hug you from behind leaving a kiss on your neck, he would say "I loved taking a shower with you, love, but next time we won't take a shower and you know exactly what I want say with that."

established relationship, bullet point reactions, lowercase is intentional, this is my first work for xdinary heroes, afab for gunil's, i had to google what each flower represented, sorry for inaccuracies, dedicated to requester @snowflakemoon3

⠀⠀ gunil ⠀⠀

gunil is a whiner

so one day when he complains that "don't you think it's kinda misandrist that only women get flowers most of the time"

you think that's a direct jab at you because he does in fact, get you flowers all the time

on your next date you order sunflowers for him

it arrives via delivery and when he opens the door, he kinda smirks

"finally, i'm being appreciated around here" (jokingly)

he places the flowers in the vase you usually use

later on you find out he saved the petals of the sunflower in a ziploc bag

you teach him how to press and dry flowers for preservation

when he sees your collection of dried flowers from all those times he gifted you, he's so touched

looks at you like you're his whole world as you continue to demonstrate how to do it

⠀⠀ jungsu ⠀⠀

jungsu talks about getting plants for his room all the time but never actually does

so you bought him a pretty orchid to place on his windowsill

he loves it and takes care of it really well

he once read that plants have feelings

so he spoke to the orchid every night, pretending like the both of you were its parents

one day you caught him singing to it

"since when did you start giving private concerts to the plant, jungsu?"

"shut up. water your child, it's dying"

and you're just like??? but you do it anyways

taking care of orchids together become your shared hobby

years down the line, jungsu makes sure the flowers at your wedding are orchids

⠀⠀ gaon ⠀⠀

you were on a picnic date at a meadow

gaon made all this effort to set the date up, even making (which you start to suspect that he actually just bought) all the food you were currently eating

you felt kinda bad, as you didn't prepare anything (well to be fair this date was a surprise)

so while he was setting up the picnic basket earlier, you took the liberty to venture

you found a small wildflower bed full of marigolds and daises

you gathered the brightest and prettiest ones, the ones that best resemble gaon

so when you tell him "close your eyes I have a surprise for you"

and he opens them he's genuinely surprised that it's flowers

his heart goes like awwwww

but ngl he thought you were gonna plant a kiss on his lips

"I can do that as well, jiseok"

he got the kisses and the flowers, it's a happy day for him

"are those flowers?"

he stares at the meal your prepared him, edible flowers prettily arranged on top

you spent the whole day cooking for your date and bought edible flowers to decorate the salads

he's in awe because he's never tried it before

neither have you, so you're hoping it tastes okay

when you both sit down and take your first bites

seungmin says "babe is it me or it just tastes like plants"

"i sure hope so, because it is indeed, a plant"

"right".

you both just sorta stare at each other then laugh

he reaches for your hand across the table to bring it to his lips

"thank you for the meal babe, i love it"

he kisses your hand with such sincerity you want to cry

⠀⠀ junhan ⠀⠀

there was an old lady selling the last of her roses for the day by your university

they weren't anything particularly special, but they were individually wrapped so prettily you couldn't resist

she told you they'd wilt soon, so she's giving them at half the price to students

you decided to buy a red rose to give to junhan

as you stopped by his dorms, you found him strumming on his guitar

you jokingly threw the flower at him and said "bravo, encore encore!"

he picks up the flower and puts it in between his lips and bows, going along with the bit

you both laugh at each others' antics

junhan is goofier since you came along

⠀⠀ jooyeon ⠀⠀

jooyeon has received flowers from someone he personally knew in his life exactly 3 times

when he graduated high school, his debut showcase, and his first concert (all came from his parents btw)

so when you visit him in the inkigayo green room with a bouquet of brightly colored carnations he doesn't even think that those are for him

"huh, who gave those to you?"

"it's for you, jooyeon...."

and he's all confused like "what, why?"

and you're also confused as to why he's confused like? "congrats on your comeback and new mini-album?"

jooyeon takes the bouquet and smiles at the message you wrote

"to my favorite rockstar, jooyeon"

every time he made a comeback or released a new single, you would send him different flowers

in return, he places a kiss on your forehead

Your boyfriend, Jooyeon, dropped down onto the couch in the practice room with a melodramatic sigh, his head falling into your lap. You let out a snort in response to his theatrics, staring down at him with a fond smile.

"My fingers feel like they're about to fall off." He whined.

"You're weak." Jiseok teased from across the room. "I could play for hours."

"So, you want practice to go over?" Gunil asked, making Jiseok's eyes go wide, his head shaking vehemently.

A chorus of chuckles filled the room in response to his reaction.

"I'm serious. We can stay later if you want." The eldest continued to tease.

Again, Jiseok shook his head.

"Y/n, can you play with my hair?" Jooyeon asked cutely, staring up at you with round eyes.

There was no way you could deny him, firstly because you loved playing with his hair, especially since it had gotten so long, secondly because you couldn't say no to his pleading eyes.

Your fingers threaded themselves through his long tresses, the vibrant magenta that colored the ends for Overload had faded, but that didn't take away from the beauty that was Jooyeon's magnificent mane. You thought he would cut it after Hello World, but he continued growing it and has kept that up for much longer than you would have assumed. In all honesty, you hope he keeps this long hair. It suits him well and you enjoy running your fingers through it.

You absentmindedly twirled a strand around your index finger, letting it fall and slowly undo itself. Jooyeon's eyes closed as you combed through his hair, a blissful sigh escaping his slightly parted lips. Changing tactics, you went from carding your fingers through his hair to braiding a strand of it, listening to the other members talk amongst themselves.

"I was thinking in this next run through of the song, Jungsu could-"

The entire band groaned, cutting off Gunil's sentence before he could even get to the point of it.

"C'mon, Gunil, we're supposed to be taking a break." Seungmin complained.

Hyeongjun nodded in agreement.

The leader pouted, slumping slightly in his seat before heading a sigh. "You're right."

"Y/n?" Jooyeon called softly, his eyes open and staring up at you.

"Mhm?"

"Can I have a kiss?"

Your eyes went wide at his request.

"In front of them?" You whispered.

"They won't notice."

Flicking your eyes up to the group sitting about the large practice room, you checked to make sure they were all engaged in their own conversations before looking back down at Jooyeon who had an expectant look on his face.

You licked your lips, taking another glance up at the other members before leaning down to kiss your awaiting boyfriend. He hummed immediately upon contact and you could feel him smiling slightly against your lips.

When you tried to pull away, he brought his hand up to the back of your head and halted your actions, pulling you back down to his lips. You had to suppress the small squeak that nearly left you in response to Jooyeon's bold action. He pressed his lips more firmly against yours and began to kiss with more fervor, carding his fingers through your hair.

As much as you would've liked to keep kissing him, you didn't want to draw attention to yourselves, so you pulled away.

"Jooyeon." You scolded in a whisper.

He laughed in that little cackle of his, not ashamed of what he had done at all.

"I'm still not sure if I like seeing those two being all mushy." Seungmin cringed.

"I've learned to ignore it." Hyeongjun murmured, tuning his guitar.

"I think they're cute." Jungsu admitted.

"Not when they're sucking face." Jiseok's expression twisted in distaste.

Your cheeks were set aflame at his words, which made you look down at Jooyeon who had a smugly satisfied smile on his face.

"You said they wouldn't notice."

He gave a shrug. "I lied."

5 Minute Boyfriend

Summary: When you run into your ex of course the only logical thing to do was make Jungsu be your fake boyfriend. (non-idol au)

What started as a nice day out with your friend Jungsu quickly took a turn when you saw your ex walking towards you, sporting a new girl on his arm. It had been two months since you two broke up. It was necessarily a bad break up. You both realized that you weren’t really meant for each other, so you split. You were originally planning on ignoring him, however you just had to make eye contact with him. Now you were going to be civil with maybe even offer him a polite smile, but he seemed to have other intentions. He pulled his new girl closer to him, pressing a long kiss onto her cheek while staring right at you. He was provoking you. You scoffed looking away. Upon your eyes landing on Jungsu a light bulb went off in your head.

“Be my boyfriend,” you told Jungsu.

“What?” Jungsu coughed.

“Be my boyfriend. Just for like five minutes please?” you begged, seeing your ex getting closer.

“Can I ask why?” he questioned. You sighed.

“That’s my ex over there.” You pointed discreetly. “He’s with someone else and trying to provoke me with it, so can you please be my boyfriend. So that I can show him I don’t care about him,” you quickly explained. Jungsu eyes where your ex was, seeing how he was seemingly making his way over to the pair of you.

“Ok, I’ll be your boyfriend,” he says.

“Thank you,” you thanked him. You also moved to rest your head on his shoulder. Jungsu carefully wraps his arm around your frame.

“Didn’t expect to see you here y/n,” your ex said when he arrived in front of you and Jungsu. You lifted your head from Jungsu’s shoulder to look at him.

“I didn’t expect to see you here either,” you remarked.

“This is Hanna, my girlfriend,” he introduced the girl on his arm and sent you a certain look.

“Nice to meet you,” you smiled at her. “This is Jungsu, my boyfriend,” you shot back, once more leaning your head on Jungsu’s shoulder. Your ex clears his throat.

“Well we should get going. Nice seeing you again,” you ex speaks.

“Yeah, you too,” you replied. You watched the two of them walk off. “He really became a prick didn’t he?,” you say. Jungsu laughed at your comment.

“Yeah he seemed upset when he realized that you moved on from him.” Jungsu removes his arm from around you. He thinks that he can finally calm his racing heart. From the moment you asked him to be your boyfriend it had been hammering against his chest. He’s glad you only rested your head on his shoulder cause if it was his chest you certainly would have heard his beating heart. Jungsu has been crushing on you for quite some time now, including before you got together with your ex. He never found the courage to confess to you. He was sure that he wasn’t your type. That he was only the type of guy you wanted to be friends with. Having you in his hold with your head on his shoulder only made him long for you more. It gave him a taste of what he could have if you were actually his.

Your heart can also now begin to calm from its rapid thumping. Having Jungsu’s arm around you affected you much more than you thought it would. You’ve had a bit of a thing for Jungsu since you met him, but never thought it was anything that serious. The way your heart pounded just now tells you otherwise. That your feelings for Jungsu were more than just a small thing. You wanted him to have his arm around you more often. You wanted to lean your head on his shoulder whenever you pleased.

“He left so quickly after I told him you were my boyfriend,” you chuckled. “Thanks again though. I owe you one,” you told him. Jungsu remains silent for a bit. He doesn’t want to just have a taste of what it could be like to be with you. He is terrified of you rejecting him and losing your friendship, but he thinks he would regret it more if he never gives it a shot.

“Can I keep being your boyfriend then?” His gaze shifted to his hands as he anxiously fiddled with them. Did he just ruin everything?

His question sends your heart right back to thumping against your chest. Jungsu wasn’t the type to joke about these kinds of things, but you still couldn’t believe what he just said.

“Are you serious?” you asked. Jungsu finds the courage to lift his head and look at you.

“I’m very serious. I’ve liked you for a while now,” he confessed. “I don’t want to be your boyfriend for only five minutes. I want to be it permanently,” he states.

“I want that too,” you confess. Jungsu can’t believe the words that left your mouth.

“Really? I can be your boyfriend? You mean it?” he asked excitedly with bright eyes. You couldn’t help but find him adorable.

Hello villains! And welcome to this tarot reading/ social experiment. This is the Xdinary Heroes version of the reading 'how are stans of different members like". You can find the Stray Kids and Ateez versions in my Masterlist!

For this reading, I have asked my cards three questions per member:

What are the stans of the member like in general?

What do stans of the member all have in common?

And then you guys let me know if I have read your energy correctly and if you resonate with the reading!

I must say this is probably the most fun I've had with this specific kind of reading before. It was a rollercoaster of different personality types and I truly enjoyed it! Some were really cute and emotional and some were downright hilarious :))

Gunil stans were stuck for a very long time with the wrong people. Maybe it's cliche to say, but Gunil stans are different. They love helping people and solving conflict, maintaining the peace, but they don't waste a moment getting competitive or going to war for something they believe in. This paradoxical, complex personality might leave some dumbfounded, but it is also a their biggest source of charm.

As previously stated, Seungmin stans have many sides and a certain complexity, however one of those sides is definitely being playful. Seugmin stans are quite the little devils, they love teasing people, pushing their buttons and playing around with them (harmlessly of course!). Life with a Seungmin stan will never be boring, as much as it won't be peaceful either 😂

This reading was very interesting. I could feel from the hanged woman and the two of swords that this energy was looking specifically for an energy like Junhan's because of feeling misunderstood and stuck in the wrong place, and they were searching for liberation, aka someone who can finally understand them. I feel there's a heavy emotional connection here 😊 So, as stated before, to Junhan fans, getting to know him was somewhat of an Eureka! moment. An, ah (sigh) finally. Junhan makes it feel okay to be different. He gives strength and courage to his fans as much as the needed comfort. They can finally stop the foolish pretending society "needs" and just be themselves <3

Jooyeon stans: The Fierce Goofballs

How are Jooyeon stans like in general? // II of Cups R, VI of Cups

Jooyeon stans are lovable little goofballs. They're cute and somewhat childish (in a good way) and people seem to quickly adore them. They might also get attached easily, too, or be the types to become inseparable from their friends. They love playing around and enjoying their life as if they are a toddler all over again, and make amazing friends to be around.

At first, I interpreted this as stubbornness. Jooyeon stans might be quite fierce to deal with! Rawr 😂 But then I also saw something on the idea of confidence or cockyness. Perhaps their attitude is also full of cocky charm 😁

What about Jooyeon's personality attracts Jooyeon stans to bias him? // King of Swords R, Wheel of Fortune X R

From what I can see here, for many the attraction might have happened before even getting to his personality. People seem to stumble upon him out of sheer luck, and then he begins to have some sort of power over them. Wether it is his voice, his skills, his looks (or his eyes?) he seems to magnetize people in. When it comes to personality though, I'm seeing that his ability to be in the calm center of the storm is very appealing to Jooyeon stans. He's very laid back even in the most stressful situations, and this lack of overthinking and go with the flow attitude could be both admirable and comforting to Jooyeon stans.

When it comes to the natal chart of Jooyeon stans, I got into a bit of trouble because I was literally given 8 astrological placements 😂 (which only shows how broadly liked Jooyeon is. ) I'm gonna go on a limb and say the probably would be higher with the cards from the first two questions, that being prominent Cancer, Scorpio and Aries placements. (But just know, Aquarius, Libra, Gemini, Pisces and Sagittarius were also there.)

From what I've gathered it seems when it comes to XH as well, the stans seem to take after the idol!
