Sunset Died - Survivors

After another endless walk through the night, everyone finally arrived at the infirmary, tired and exhausted. VJ banged heavily on the door, but by the green lights that weren't turned off, you knew someone had to be there. When Morgana came out, she was almost a little shocked… She looked around - “Agnes, you… You really made it”.

“Of course, I told you I could do it”. Morgana was overwhelmed and struggled to hold back her tears of joy. “Emma? I almost didn't recognize you”/ “hn, yeah, I probably didn't either, but it's not about me now, Cy finally needs to be properly examined and Blair…”/ “ wait…Cy-clone and…Blair?”.

Morgana went up to the two, who seemed strange to her at first. But then she recognized the petite woman. “Morgana…” She looked at him, and a small smirk stirred inside her as well. “Cy, you…”/ “yes, I know, Chuck Norris. Blair needs rest and I want to be able to breathe properly again…”. Morgana had to process the whole scene around her in her head first. But then she concentrated on her work again. “o.k.,. What about her eyes?"/ ‘Just one eye,… We'll tell you everything’/ ‘M-Morgana?’/ ‘My goodness, Blair… Yes?’/ ‘Are… My parents still alive?’/ ‘hnhn, they're indestructible, should they come here?’/ ‘mhm’. Morgana stroked Blair's shoulder lovingly to show her that she was safe now. “o.k. take her into the tent”.

While Cyclone took care of Blair, Morgana wanted to know everything in detail. “I was really worried, Agnes, I thought you weren't coming back”. Agnes took a deep breath. “I also wanted to turn back at a certain point, but then I just happened to take a wrong turn and ended up in front of a little farm”/ “a farm?”.

“Yes, really. I wouldn't have guessed that anyone lived out there in that area either. And everything there was so… Like in another world, as if nothing had happened. And then suddenly Emma came out of the house towards me.” Emma looked up briefly at Agnes “I was so happy to see Agnes. When she told me that some people had survived here, I could hardly believe it…”. Morgana nodded in understanding. “Yes, it's a miracle. where were you three when it happened?”.

“Blair had Visit her parents the day before, but she'd had another fight with her mother. She came home crying and said she just had to get out, get away from the city for a few days. Then we planned a spontaneous trip, Cy and I were on vacation, so it was a good idea.“

“We just drove, without a specific destination. We had enough provisions with us for two days. At some point we found a great spot by a lake. We were having a great time, and then… We saw them in the sky, falling down towards Sunset Valley. We could feel the pressure waves from the impacts. Then huge mounds of earth piled up, as if a mountain was growing out of the ground within seconds”.

“And at some point you could see the light of the huge flames rising from behind this huge mountain. We were frozen with shock, we cried… And as I said, we didn't expect anyone else to have survived here". ”and this farm? Did anyone live there?” Emma wiped a tear from her face that had run down her face during the story. ”mhm, an elderly lady. She was a bit crazy, but she took care of us”

Morgana stroked Emma's red hair lovingly for a moment. “You were lucky. And what about Blair? The bandage, what's it all about?” Emma sat up a little again and tried to put what she had experienced into words. “hh… The shockwave brought a lot with it, including thousands and thousands of stones and tiny splinters… She got one of them. Right in the eye. It was like a bullet had been fired from a gun. Luckily it wasn't a through-and-through shot, the splinter “only” got stuck in her lens. Gosh, I would have loved to help her, but I didn't know how, I didn't want to do anything wrong… But this old woman…”.

“What did she do?” . For Morgana, of course, the whole thing was important and interesting to know. And Emma continued. “As crazy as she was, she had incredibly steady hands. She had a good look at the whole thing and she offered to help her and remove this huge splinter.“/”And how did she do that? I mean, something like that is a risky procedure and really requires a steady hand and surgical skill”. Emma lifted her shoulders and shook her head. “I don't know, I wasn't there when the old lady did the operation. But when she was done…”.

“…Blair's cries of pain stopped. The woman used various herbs from the surrounding area to promote the healing of the surrounding eye. But it took a very, very long time before the healing could be seen…”. Morgana raised her hands and placed them on the sides of her head, a little stunned but still amazed. “It's also a very sensitive area…”/ “mhm. everything should have healed well by now. The lady told us when we left that the bandage could be removed in 2-3 days. Oh dear, and the cows…"/ ‘Cows?’.

“She had given us three cows to thank us for our company. But they ran off on the way…"/ ‘I think that's less tragic than Blair having a splinter in her eye’/ ‘I know, but we could have used those animals here, couldn't we?’/ ”Meat is a bit scarce at the moment, yes. But what about Cyclone? He's got a bandage around his ribcage…”.

“Oh… he fell once on our journey back. I heard the crack, but he ignored it the whole time. Then he even came up with the idea of carrying them. He does everything for her.”

Meanwhile in the tent. Even though Blair was tired from the long journey, she also enjoyed the moment with Cyclone. It didn't feel so stressful anymore. “Take off your hat”/ “How do you know I'm wearing it?”/ “I just do. I thought it was silly when you bought it in that store”.

Cyclone took off his hat and leaned down even closer to her. “Try to get some sleep, okay Darling? “/ ”mhm. Are you going to talk to the others?" ‘As soon as I've got an overview of which of them are the good guys and which are the bad guys…I'll come back later’/ „mhm…“

sylvie recognized few of the faces at her own party, she actually only knew her boss cycl0n3 and her coworker simis ofcourse. but connor was a noshower, sylvie felt slightly hurt by this 😔

and even a not so unknown stranger showed up to the party. but this time sylvie didn't mind his over-presence so much, it distracted her from the disappointment of the party 🎭

been playing with this sim dove and her now husband cycl0n3 sw0rd for about a week now :) it’s my own personalll lepacy! dove is a sunset valley times journalist by day, and a published author also by day. yay! i really only have the milestone screenshots because i didn’t intend to post them so if things seem like they’re moving a little fast this generation, just know that dove is now like level 8 of her career and mastered the writing skill 🤭

cycl0n3 sw0rd & svynx

after a messy breakup with his first girlfriend, blair, cycl0n3 made the decision to get out of his comfort zone and leave sunset valley behind for a fresh start. initially he headed for san myshuno but being the socially anxious loner that he is, he couldn't handle the bustling crowds of people and constant noise. instead he found a small town just outside of san-my, got himself an "it'll do" apartment and used his computer smarts to get a job with a startup tech company where he has very little in person communication.

he did however get over his socially anxious tendencies just enough to go and adopt svynx from the local shelter.

(when i was a kid and only had base game, i thought cycl0n3 was a really evil sim because of his name so i wouldn’t let my sims interact with him EVER and the one time my sim did talk to him i deleted the save file 😭)

Sunset Died - VJ / ???

Wonders

After VJ had finished talking to Morgana, he set off to hunt. By now he knew a few regions where there were a few deers. The sun was setting and his eyes had to be extra vigilant now.

And even the last rays of sun touching the horizon in the distance still make the autumn trees glow. Soon you might not be able to see your own hand in front of your eyes due to the darkness. But VJ didn't just want to go in search of a wild animal, he had recently found an old tree trunk with a bees' nest. And in the evening, the little insects are known to be calmer and less aggressive.

VJ is used to walking a lot, so he doesn't mind walking long distances. And his eyes work surprisingly well. A little further up a hill, there was a small, young stag that was about to eat some dry roots. VJ positioned himself so that the wind would not carry his scent to the animal and kept perfectly still. "Now it's your turn... Sorry".

He didn't hesitate for long, by now he had such a steady hand that he rarely missed his target. There were no distractions, so the shot was so precise that the animal fell down the slope after the hit. The little buck tried to get up, but the shot went straight through its neck. "Yes, oh boy! OK, I'll come and get you later, I just want to check on the bees".

The old tree trunk that housed a large bees' nest was far out, almost on the outskirts of the city. But people like to go that far to get something sweet. But to his regret, there was no honey to be had. Perhaps someone else had already helped themselves to it. But the bees like it when you leave them something, a bit of pollen… But then he suddenly heard a noise…

It rustled in the bushes, so VJ assumed that it was an animal. So he reached for his bow again and nocked the arrow. He drew the bow to shoot... "What the..."/ "for heaven's sake, please don't shoot!...". It clearly wasn't an animal, animals can't talk, usually... "Unbelievable, did you really want to shoot at us, VJ?"

VJ was completely surprised. He knew the people standing in front of him, at least he recognized some of them… "You can put that fucking thing down now, boy…" Of course VJ lowered his bow again. "Sorry, I just thought there was a bear or a fox…". The man with the hat was a little annoyed "very funny, there's no bears out here, boy"/"hey, who are you, Chuck Norris without muscles?"/"tz, if I didn't have a cracked rib, I'd laugh!"

The blonde woman being carried spoke in a trembling voice. "Is… Is that VJ?"/ "Yes, sweetie… He's standing in front of us with a bow and arrow"/ "Uh, VJ, can you… Take us home"/ "Blair?…"/ "I'm so tired…"/ "Are those chickens?". Again, the man with hat spoke in a strong voice. "She asked you a question"/ "um, sorry… Yes, of course, follow me, maybe to the hospital first?"/ "Yes, a good idea…", the other blonde woman answered…

The annoyed excited man's voice became calmer again. "It won't be long now, darling… then we'll be home again… Or what's left of it…"/ "Can you still carry me, Cy? You're in pain…"/ "I said I'd carry you until I can't anymore…". Blair cuddled her head against his chest, "hnhn, Chuck Norris, see, I told you so…".
