guys i know we're all focused on the quite literal things that are in the water this season. but what - and I mean, the fuck - is in the metaphorical AND literal water for Iskall and Beef in particular???? what is wrong with either of them (affectionate). both as individuals and when in contact with one another. cannot get enough of their episodes currently
losing it at both their POVs. their interactions have been some of my favorite things ever actually. big salmon is watching btw

Oooh anon, good you brought it up - I just realised I vaguely elaborated on this on twitter but didn't get the chance to here.
(Although I want to preface, these types of details are totally up for interpretation, I'm never stingy about it. If you like the idea that he beat the shit out of bullies, by all means, I wouldn't put it past him - he's a moody teen and probably takes huge issue with stuff like that since people have attempted to subject him to it at times. I definitely considered giving him some history as a delinquent, more as a 14-16 year old than the current HSAU timeline, but that's a whole other story)
First, I just want to clarify the obvious - no highschooler looks like that, the comic was done through Luffy's POV so it's absolutely a hyper-fantasized version of whatever Luffy was seeing, which was a lot more muscle definition than there actually was 😂
That isn't to say Law ISN'T fit for this AU - Law's reason for being fit is... pretty silly, maybe, but it's because Law was pretty active as a kid anyway because Corazon was - da-dum - a professional volleyball player, and would practice with Law as a pasttime together.
As Law grew older and out of playing volleyball (although just to note - Law is great at the sport, just doesn't care to play it in highschool), Corazon just made him adopt a casual habit of fitting exercise into his week ("if you're not going to go out and see some sunlight, then at least eat your vitamin D gummies and fit in some activity during the day" etc. Appropriately health conscious since he's an ex-athlete. He's okay with Law doing whatever he wants so long as he's happy, safe, and healthy to the best of his abilities.)
On top of that, Corazon is a pretty big guy, makes pretty big portions for dinner, and as a result, Law (also being a pretty tall guy) eats a lot too. It's both passive and intentional effort, maintaining his physique.

Law and Kidd used to date, and since Kidd (big, buff guy) enjoyed the gym and eating lots, Law would just go with him and they'd make dates out of it because they never went on "proper" dates anyway (candle lit dinners? Sitting in the park? Kidd vc: "That's some sappy loser shit")

I have a lot -- a lot a lot a LOT -- of WIPs that will be completed in 2024, so please don't think of this as an exhaustive list, but they are the ones I'm most excited for:
A Practical Arrangement - @clottedcreamfudge has Devised A Punishment if I don't get chapter two out for y'all by Christmas because my usual methods of pushing past my brain bullshit weren't working, so technically this is a 2023 project 🤣 @ships-to-sail and @celeritas2997 have the carrot and CCF has the stick.
Anastasia AU!!! I LOVE this fic and I think it's in the 'meaty one-shot' range buuuuuut we'll see. It might get a little out of control.
Angstapalooza RWRB edition - this is gonna be another long fic, 10-11 chapters, 50k words ish, and I cannot WAIT to make y'all cry sink my teeth into it. My Schitt's Creeks babes know what happens when I deem something 'angstapalooza' lmao.
Hockey Boyfriend Henry part 3, aka the whole reason I started writing the fucking series in the first place lmao
Leverage AU, which I haven't shared anything of yet because it's a post-angstapalooza longfic but I am VERY HYPE FOR.
Rafael Is Surrounded By Disaster Queers, aka the Rosencrantz & Guildenstern Are Dead-style Rafael POV... 5+1? Vignettes? set in the Much Ado actor AU verse. Which at this point is just a gift for @inexplicablymine and @cricketnationrise and I wouldn't have it any other way.

tron fic recs??👀
Hi there! I have to preface this by saying I mostly read (and currently write) Sam/Tron (or Rinzler depending on the fic). While I do read a bunch of just general Tron fic, I tend to have a ship I like and stick with it.
I am really enjoying Salvage What You Can by TooManyTeeth, more so the concept then some of the ideas. (I don't ship sam and quorra), but I can get over those for the concept of Rinlzer and Tron being in the same Grid and not the Same People, and Rinlzer finding out he's the 'evil twin' as the tags put it. I'm only on chapter 14, and there have been some moments that have down right broke my heart. Lots and lots of Rinzler angst.
Want some fluff about pre movie Tron and Clu learning swear words?? No Stupid Questions by bowiesinspace is the fic series for you! It's crack (in the since that it's silly, not you know. weird). and Just an all around fun time.
While this one has a bit of of Sam/Tron in it, the pov is Alan and it's not exactly about Sam and Tron, it's about how Alan feels, seeing and being around Tron, and is very very emotional. But also my second favorite fic in the fandom. And that is Mea Culpa by 2019-2020 (EnglishLanguage).
My first favorite fic is by the same author, and that is Genesis. I don't have words for this fic honestly. It's from Sam's POV, and it's about him coming back to a completely empty Grid. There are lines in this fic that literally left me gasping for air. It's almost GEN but there's hints of the fact that there will be something more between Sam and Tron.
I'll be a bit of a silly goose, and plug my own fic here, Whatever Here (That's Left of Me) part one has no shipping besides Lora and Alan, and is about Sam fixing the Grid from the other side of the screen, having a lot of family moments with Alan, Lora and Quorra and talking with Tron. The second part will be about Sam and 'Tron' falling in love. (which knowing me and my writing, means also at least two smut scenes). So if you just want to read part one that is a-okay with me!
Lastly, in this category I am recommending every single one of Solar_Siren's fictober collections. (and one Angstpirl challenge in there as well) There is a lot of different ships in here (Mostly Tron/Yori) and a lot of Uprising stuff. A lot of REALLY good fics in here.
and now the rest of these will all be just Sam/Tron.
for T rated fics,
Sam and Tron going on a first date, and it's not going as well as Sam would like but they have a good time. Falling in Tandem by bowisinspace (I also rec all their fics. they are all very nice. The kudosbot fic??? HUh?? Why am I emotional over a little ai?? *cries*)
Late Onset Digitalism by EnglishLanguage & Lobster_Emoji is not finished, but I really enjoyed this fic, and I don't think it ended on a clif hanger? I only read it the one time though. I still think it was worth the read. another Sam fixing the Grid fics, but with some fun twists.
We Are Pilots by shirozora is a CLASSIC samtron, and just Tron in general, fic. I read this fic once a year and its just. really good. Sam goes back to the Grid to try and see if Kevin left any clues on what he meant by 'Quorra will change the world' and instead finds Tron, and a Grid in chaos. (One small note is that, even though it's rated T there is some smut towards the end.)
E rated Fics:
First two are longer fics where the smut is only a scene or two. Last one is a smutty one shot.
Someone Has To Draw First Blood by dreamlittleyo is another classic. Kevin took Sam to the Grid when he was a kid, and only luck is the reason that Sam didn't go with him that night of the coup. When Sam shows back up as an adult Tron follows him out the Grid, and then they fall in love.
One Miracle at a Time by dreamlittleyo another 'Sam goes back to the Grid' fics. I haven't read this one in a while, but I remember really liking it. I should reread it soon. Maybe I'll do it tonight.
Patience, Sam Flynn by bowiesinspace (how many of their fics have i recced haha). Short one shot, it's very nice, I love the end cause they get very snuggly.

mostly bsd, jjk & a bit of genshin, but i throw in ficlets and/or one-shots of other stuff to let Thoughts out.

Connecting the dots. silly pre-canon fluff and humor won people over after arcane's s1 finale.
Between the pages: part 2. mix of bsd ficlets/drabbles, bcs i love doing small thingies (i'm already finishing part 4 laksdjflk).

not hate per se, but i've had complaints about tagging all ships from the start in my genshin ficlet compilation... when i was gonna throw them all into ao3 in one sitting.
also that one person who came to one of my Utahime Week fics, who was tagged as both gojohime and shokohime, to tell me "nooo shokohime are just friends yadda yadda" while praising gojohime as canon (i love it too, but it isn't). it was odd.
9. Do you write smut?
i have this thing when it comes to nsfw in general and smut in particular, aka up to certain point it makes me uncomfy but below that idgaf and even go like "nice, my ship having sex"... so.
most i can offer is barely-explicit stuff, and for fic specifically i see "depictions of character bein horny" and "pre- and post-sex" rather than actual smut.
10. Do you write crossovers?
not a lot, but the bsd+jjk thingie that came from rp and also birthed the dnd-ish au got me by the throat.

as far as i know, nope.
12. Have you ever had a fic translated?
as far as i know, nope (x2). though i do translate some rp solos to turn them into one-shots adding up stuff as well (i could just post them in spanish, but).

i guess rp is like schroedinger's yes here? but when it comes to literal fic... not yet, but i know what and with who.

not really a wip, but i had one Uraume-centric fic that i'm not sure if it'll see the light for... some reasons. long story short, it's based on another fic that's a roleswap and has modern socerers (and students) Uraume and Sukuna.

i apparently never run out of insp and will to write, so i can go fast as fuck. and my writing is one of the things i'm most confident about like fr.

i still feel like english nerf me, at least when it comes to narrating, bcs i cannot be as descriptive or poetic as i am in spanish.

I do! I genuinely appreciate every one, and if someone takes the time to say something to me, I like to return that gesture in kind (though I think I fell behind in the chaos of Stray Gods Prompt Week, I'll have to go chapter by chapter and see lol).

I truthfully don't read much fanfic anymore, and while I'm tempted to say Imogen/Otohan as that's what's had me in a chokehold for the past nine months, that's also a more recent development. So if we're talking all time, I'd say my most read ship was (and I'm dating myself here) Hermione/Bellatrix. Can you tell I've always enjoyed enemies to lovers as a trope?
15. What's a WIP you want to finish, but doubt you ever will?
I don't have any I don't intend to finish!
16. What are your writing strengths?
I think I'm pretty good at describing settings and imagery as well and introspection.
17. What are your writing weaknesses?
DIALOGUE.

It's something I would likely never attempt.

God that's a hard question... From a technical standpoint, I think A Dance With Danger is the one I'm most proud of. It really challenged me in many ways (altering a canon scene in one BIG way, writing lots of dialogue that still managed to flow well in a relatively short time, and most of all, writing an Imogen/Otohan first meeting in canon context, and early on in the campaign at that).
Runner ups would likely be Prometheus Bound, Let Me Lay Waste to Thee (Critical Role; Imogen/Otohan, THEE fic that started everything lol), and When the Darkness Comes (Horizon; Silga & Untalla aka MY GIRLS).

Review: So This Is Ever After
Author: F. T. Lukens

So, continuing with my book haul from SFeraKon, next up on the list was "So This Is Ever After". I accidentally spotted it in at one of the vendor's and was instantly drawn by the cover. I knew it was a queer ya book, something I had not read in a while and usually don't pick up, but I wanted to give it a chance.
The story is set after what is usually the main story - the chosen one defeating an evil enemy and rescuing the kingdom, and follows Arek, the prophesied savior, who magically binds himself to the throne and is forced to take on the duty of governing the kingdom. And of finding a spouse before his 18th birthday which is in 3 months.
My expectations from this book weren't too high because it's intended for younger audiences, but I was still a little disappointed in some aspects. Unfortunately, one of them was the pining between Arek and his love interest, Matt. It's obvious that they both have feelings for each other and that they're afraid to admit them, and while Lukens proposes a good reasoning behind their constraints, their chemistry still seems a little hard to believe because it's missing an important element - Matt's point of view (POV).
To make a romance work, there needs to be an insight to both sides of the relationship. It doesn't necessarily need to be a switch in the POV, but then the author must make it obvious through dialogue, gestures or through another literary device. Lukens doesn't give the reader enough information to convey this properly, so the romance feels very one sided and makes Arek's attempts in flirting seem pointless.
Moreover, Arek's feelings toward Matt also seem quite diluted. Throughout the first half of the book, his devotion is barely distinguishable, especially when Arek reflects on his affection towards other characters. This in turn makes his interest toward Matt seem insignificant and even meaningless. The problem arises because Lukens mostly relies on telling, not showing. So while Arek constantly talks about how he's committed to Matt, his actions don't exactly show it. A good example of this is how, at the very beginning, Matt spends his time at the library trying to find a way to release Arek from the spell that binds him to the throne, and Arek only realizes that he never visited him after a few days have already passed.
I think I would've liked this book a lot more if it was actually told from Matt's point of view. His yearning could have been displayed more easily, especially considering his continuous effort to help Arek with everything he needed, while knowing Arek might never reciprocate his affection. Arek has a lot of options on the table, especially as the king in peril. Matt only really has him. So the dynamic might have been clearer and more heart-aching.
Still, the book provides exactly what it claims to offer: a fun, low-stake story with witty humor and cute, queer characters. The characters are definitely the highlight of the story and are easy to love. The story isn't difficult to follow, it creates tension when it needs to, and it's overall a cool take on a well-known concept. It's a fun read for sure.
I think I'm a little past the age and reading level to consider "So This Is Ever After" a truly great book, but if you're into queer ya or are looking for something simple, fun and comforting, this book might be a good choice for you.

Bitter Harvest
11: What do you like best about this fic?
The whole thing gave me such imposter syndrome, my god, but essentially what I wanted to do with this fic was write something that was mostly internal, where I couldn't lean on dialogue and banter to get me through it; something procedural, where it had to have a plot with some interest; and a horror story that was genuinely scary. The third I can only gauge from reader feedback, and honestly two probably didn't get achieved, but the fact that I wrote something so different and it mostly worked is a huge point of pride for me.
I get very anxious about whether I can do descriptions, because I'm not a very visual person by nature; but there's a lot of passages in Bitter Harvest that I'm really extremely happy with. And delving into Anderson's POV was very rewarding.

14: Is there anything you wanted readers to learn from this fic?
It doesn't really have a moral, apart from the whole man's humanity to man thing. There's a few plot points which are important (mainly the introduction of Sovereign who, surprise surprise, comes back later) but mainly I wanted to set up the bond between Anderson and Shepard. Anderson chooses to take Shepard, even though there are other options, and I don't think that's a strictly rational decision. She and her mother made a huge impression on him and Shepard will always be special to him.
Species swap
1: What inspired you to write the fic this way?
I'm currently working on a meta about the broader "why did I write species swap" (in case that's of any interest to anyone but me, lol) so for this one I'm probably going to stick to the more formal aspects here.
As I mentioned in a previous ask, writing Cultural Exchange as a oneshot was an unsuccessful attempt to get the story out of my system. It's got a bit of the first-installment weirdness (for example, I probably wouldn't have Shepherd know what a horse is if I was writing it now) but ultimately it's a story about Gareth falling in love with her and not realizing it.
Interregnum is kind of a strange beast, in that it was more or less a dumping ground for a lot of different ideas I had. The first chapter, with him seeing his mother in the hospital and hanging out with his sister, was originally going to be the third chapter of Life Behind Enemy Lines, but the scene where he talks to his dad dates all the way back to the extended draft of Cultural Exchange. (Lis is also in that draft, but she didn't have a name yet.) Chapter two was showing Gareth having a life outside Shepherd but still being helpless about her, and obviously with chapter four (the last stand) I wanted that oh moment.
Chapter three - the Torfan flashback - is also an odd duck, not in the least because I only decided to include it at the very last minute, and it doesn't really fit with the rest of the fic. Oh well, I'm doing this for free. Anyway, I decided quite a while after Cultural Exchange was posted that Gareth's first deployment as a sniper was on Torfan. The years worked out, and I thought it was as good an explanation as any for Why He's Like That. It went through a lot of drafts, which include several attempts at placing him on the ground, but I'm not a military writer by any stretch of the imagination and it all felt very flat. Bringing in Castor is probably a bit of a cheat, from the military procedure side of things, but I really needed an emotional anchor and G's relationship with his dad always gives me that.
There's a lot I could say about Life Behind Enemy Lines, but probably the thing that I like best is how I finally bring in Shepherd's POV. She's a bit of an enigma in Cultural Exchange, partially because I hadn't really done the background work to figure her out (and why would I, it was just supposed to be a oneshot, grumble grumble) and also - as it turns out - she's damned difficult. But that first chapter I think does a really good job of showing how deliberate she is in her decision-making, and her dedication to what she thinks she needs to do. One of the problems of ME2 in my mind is that Shepard is pretty passive about working for Cerberus, and I think that impacts fics, where I genuinely just don't understand why this Shepard doesn't hit the bricks. I wanted that to be an active decision for her - she's willing to ignore all of the red flags, and neglect her duty in terms of how the Hierarchy would view it, because she has a bigger goal in mind. And that says a lot about her.

I keep returning to this, because it encapsulates a depth of feeling I find hard to express in anything other than fanfic. I love writing these characters and getting inside their heads; I keep saying that and it keeps being true.

Obvs, Yukawa/Utsumi. This was the only ship I wrote this year.

Yukawa Manabu's. This was on purpose, since I have a work in progress that's from his perspective, but has so far proven difficult to write. I've had to stay in the headspace for it. The easiest way to accomplish that was write most stories from his perspective.

The way holograms are made is amazing and fascinating. Yukawa applying his knowledge of physics to his emotional state to achieve realization, gathering all the clues at last.

I was assembling research items for this as far back as four years ago, when I came across a gif of a couple on the beach in front of a fire. At that point in time, I wasn't sure what it was meant for; I kept thinking about it and building understanding with research, until I arrived at this story.

A story about boundaries, communication, and ties that bind, set a few months after the conclusion of the first season of Galileo, for my personal project of a Kink Bingo card.

Being able to stick to writing a story or scene for every one of the Sunshine Challenge's prompts for this year. Also, because of that, I was able to write a continuation to "Ready to Hope" which I truly thought would not happen.

Probably cosmictuesdays's response to a snippet of a story I'm writing. I've thought about it at numerous times throughout the year and it pleases me each time.
15. Fave fic author to read this year:
RiverFragrance. Although I'm only just dipping my toe into all the Chinese fanfic that exists, RiverFragrance has such a good understanding of Yukawa and Utsumi and consistently delivers good plot.

Eight. This is very good for me and also seems to be what I can expect most years.
17. What are you looking forward to next year?
Finishing -- hopefully -- "your chain tied to me tight" in time for my birthday. After that? Just more works in progress over the summer; hopefully also writing the remaining four works of my 30Kisses project.

This was written for Sunshine Challenge and 30Kisses, and I'm proud of it because it took a prompt I thought was going to be difficult, but by means of intense brain-storming I was able to write something I had only half-formed ideas for and make it exactly what I wanted. Additionally, it also is one of the best examples of my writing style. I've worked hard to clean my prose, while making it poetic, and this does that.

22. How many WIP’s do you have in your docs for next year?
Four documents started, ten in total planned.
23. What WIP are you taking into next year with you?
Everything unfinished, of course. "'til they sparked" is proving to be the one that got out of hand, and it's just the third in a series of... possibly five stories. I don't even know at this point because my ideas for what I want to include are well-formed but impossible to place at the moment.
24. What’s one pairing you want to explore next year?
Maybe, possibly, mulling it over: Loid/Yor.
I also have an idea for a Kishitani & Kuribayashi fic that I like thinking about but would take a lot of planning.
25. What do you listen to while writing?
Mostly synthwave, lo-fi, chillwave, and barberbeats. Barberbeats is the best find I made this year to unlock my writing brain.
Sometimes I listen to the songs that inspire the titles; like for "open the door, don't let it sting" I listened to "Rule #1 - Magic" by Fish in a Birdcage and "Read My Mind" by The Killers on repeat for a few writing sessions.

30 Days to 70k - Camp Nano July 2022
Post three, for July 3rd...
By the time I went to bed at 9am on the morning of July 3rd, I'd only managed another three 20-minute sprints, and 1,244 words.
I got a little side tracked, fell a little behind, but I did manage to bring my total word count up to 11,362, which is enough to meet my minimum needed word count for Day 5.
That meant, for this afternoon, I only had to do an extra 2,186 to match the goal for Day 6, or an extra 4,444 to match the goal for Day 7.
Waking up tonight, I was ready to get my teeth into those 4.5k words, but literally 22-words into my first sprint, one of my neighbours decided to spark up some of the most foul smelling skunk I've ever encountered.
(For those who don't know, skunk is a colloquial term for a foul smelling strain of weed/cannabis)
You can buy CBD oil at the local shops now, and if that's too expensive, I know there are strains of it that don't stink out my *entire bloody house* but I digress.
My point is, 22-words into my first sprint and tonight was already going to hell in a handbasket...
But, I did eventually manage to drag out an extra 3,200 words, making my total for July 3rd; 4,523
I made the goal for Day 6 on Day 3, and I was only 1,200 short of Day 7's goal. Better than I expected when I woke up.
The next goal is still to get seven days ahead. To do this I need about 10k words, so I'm going to aim for 6k before bed on July 4th, and then another 4k when I get up in the afternoon of July 4th. Wish me luck <3
As for how the story's progressing, I'm up to Chapter 14 now, and I've gained two entirely new chapters that weren't in my outline, but I love them a lot!
My favourite part is that both of the new chapters are from Andric's PoV, my main character's love interest. It's letting me put in a lot more worldbuilding and backstory details than I was previously able to, and introduce his best friend, Nameer Khatri, within the first act.
Since it's going to well, I'm gonna share just a little snippet from Chapter Twelve of Changeling...
"Andric!"
For a split second, the high pitched voice calling his name made his heart still in horror. The thought that he'd walked, unprepared, straight into another encounter with Mia Harris made his stomach go cold, but then the the voice fully registered. It's false pitch, the awkward vocal tics as the speaker tried to make themself sound feminine and failed entirely, and Andric growled at the grinning face of his best friend.
"Don't do that!" he snarled.
"Oh, my friend. I'd say I'm sorry for startling you, but the look on your face just now was entirely worth any retribution you bring down upon me at a later date," Nameer said laughing, leaning against the door that led back to the rest of the school with his ankles and arms casually crossed.
He was still dressed in the uniform of a Kavian Hunter, so Andric assumed he'd come directly from his post on the front gates. A black t-shirt with short sleeves that looked simple enough, but was reinforced with tiny strands of woven plastic, making it highly resistant to the scrabbling claws of a rabid kavian. The trousers were thick leather, reinforced in places, with built in sheaths for the daggers that hunters always carried.
Nameer preferred his gun, Andric knew, but nothing took a kavian down faster than a severed carotid, and no hunter would refused to carry a blade on principle alone.
"What are you even doing here?" Andric demanded, "Shouldn't you be sleeping, or preparing the next round of torture for your students?"
"And let you skitter off into the unknown without an explanation?" his oldest friend asked, a black eyebrow arching over warm brown eyes, still glimmering with open amusement, his dark clothes and umber skin almost letting him disappear into the shadows of the windowless office.
Then his lips parted into a familiar, cheeky grin, flashing sharp, white teeth at Andric playfully. "Not bloody likely."
Andric stared at Nameer for a long moment, holding the other man's gaze, before he let a wide grin spread across his features. It was mirrored by Nameer, the other vampire's smile widening into an open grin, as Andric paced across the room. The two came together easily, right hands clasping left forearms, while they tugged each other into a hug, laughing.
"Ah, I have missed you," Andric sighed when they stepped back, and Nameer sobered slightly in response. He studied Andric's features carefully, and Andric let him until the other man let out a soft hum.
"It's rough, back home?" he asked gently, and Andric nodded.

I can't believe It took 2 and a half days to make this but it's time for a yap session

Dear diary today I'm going chocolate factory I been looking forward too white day was approaching I wanted to give my parents and my friends the best chocolates in the world so they can be impressed! And my class was being look after by this woman named haruka kiritani? They said she's an j-pop idol I think my friend staroko maizono , mom was a j-pop idol herself and I'm pretty sure she's a mentor for younger people who's aiming to be idols as well? Anyway.... I might as well bring you along!
When I saw my parents I kissed them on the cheek I wonder what they were doing? I met up with my cousin riri and my friend snow at the school courtyard to wait for the bus I was talking about what we were going to bake riri was such a pain sometimes he's such a hypocrite time to time but at least he was thinking about sweet stuff snow was better she was planning to make a lot of sweets for her friends I loved sweets like my father hehe I shouldn't be talking about that anyway I saw some kids I knew like himari who was quite embarrassed not sure why and my crush violet hehe...
When we got there the chocolate factory was huge! And when I got off I couldn't believe my eyes...it was MY FATHER and someone else what's he doing here?! "oh! There's Mr kuzuryuu!" Miss kiritani said she went down and greet my father I ran to him "father what are you doing here?" He laughed
"Well remember when I told you I'm a part time actor?" Well that is true my big brother yuki told me many times about father and dad being part time troupe members...no wonder "so are you here to make chocolates with your friends?" I nodd riri launch right us "uncle fuyuhiko! Did you know yume is planning to make a container filled with chocolates and flowers for violet?" THAT BRAT I punched riri lightly "shut up!" My father just stared at riri"it's okay you two" I blushed a little I didn't felt uncomfortable talking about my crush but it's okay my dads are okay with anyone I date riri huff and went inside the factory and my father patted my head before I went inside "haruka is right when she said she's like me and hajime"

Even it was 15 years ago fuyuhiko tried making a small chocolate cake specifically for hajime without anyone knowing his heart develop feelings for that moron...what a stupid feeling I thought someone like fuyuhiko wont be affected with that type of feeling,he always tried making it at midnight so no one notice but every time to time he saw kazuichi that pink hair had a gift package with a name fuyuhiko couldn't make out but had a hunch that it was for his sister,natsumi, but either way everytime fuyuhiko snuck out to make the cake he always heard someone coming in who else goes there so late?

As your white Lily group will help you!" "Cici! xingun! Miko?!" Everything was so long I can't put every part in! But I did saw some key points where the white Lily group asked a bunch of kids including me and my classmates what they were Making for white day and when aida asked a little girl about her chocolates and said she wanted to give her parents and her sister which made the evil wizard(father) and the witch (Aida)cry a bit telling that no one ever gave them anything on white day the white day sorcerer laughed and the he handed out a chocolate box specifically for him and then miss haruka gave out her pudding she made for the white witch it's such a cute and sweet play I went up to my dad's to hug them and give them their chocolates early they laughed and picked me up they decided to make chocolate with my class as well!

He couldn't move he was too sleepy "um.. excuse me?" A voice was heard it was sayaka's friend haruka "are you okay?" ...."I can help you know" fuyuhiko was so tired that "sure...haruka-san.." after that night fuyuhiko gave his chocolate to everyone chisa his teacher was flattered and even his classmates were surprised finally when he gave hajime the small chocolate cake hajime blushed and took it leaving a pack of chocolate coins for fuyuhiko leaving a warm feeling on his chest

Dear dairy today I'm going chocolate factory I been looking forward too white day was approaching I wanted to give my parents and my friends the best chocolates in the world so they can be impressed! And my class was being look after by this woman named haruka kiritani? They said she's an j-pop idol I think my friend staroko maizono , mom was a j-pop idol herself and I'm pretty sure she's a mentor for younger people who's aiming to be idols as well? Anyway.... I might as well bring you along!
When I saw my parents I kissed them on the cheek I wonder what they were doing? I met up with my cousin riri and my friend snow at the school courtyard to wait for the bus I was talking about what we were going to bake riri was such a pain sometimes he's such a hypocrite time to time but at least he was thinking about sweet stuff snow was better she was planning to make a lot of sweets for her friends I loved sweets like my father hehe I shouldn't be talking about that anyway I saw some kids I knew like himari who was quite embarrassed not sure why and my crush violet hehe...
When we got there the chocolate factory was huge! And when I got off I couldn't believe my eyes...it was MY FATHER and someone else what's he doing here?! "oh! There's Mr kuzuryuu!" Miss kiritani said she went down and greet my father I ran to him "father what are you doing here?" He laughed

Hello, I've been reading your posts about Kaishin moments in detective Conan movies/OVA and I wanted to ask something. I'm a Detective Conan reader only, never managed to be attracted to the anime (had a hard time with Conan voice). But I love all interactions between Kid and Conan, and now that I know there is so much content with them that is not in the manga, I was wondering if you could give me a list of those movies please ? If it isn't too much trouble ?
Hello! No, it is absolutely not too much trouble, because I am a nerd who loves lists and timelines so I actually do have a proper chronological list of all Kaitou KID content!
For all KaiShin interactions, we'll need the Detective Conan anime, the Magic Kaito anime from 2014, the Magic Kaito 1412 specials from 2010, the DC movies and OVAs which are not considered canon to DC continuity but they're amazing so I fit them in between where their release date put them in relation to the DC anime.
The specials and MK anime largely cover the same stories, but with changes - those vary from minor things like the hair color of their teacher to actually merging MK chapters together in different episodes. Personally, I prefer the specials to the anime in their animation quality so I orient my chronology primarily on the specials and secondarily on the manga chapters to sort where the additional MK episodes would take place.
You say KaiShin interactions, but seeing as neither the specials nor the anime are very long (there are 12 specials and 24 anime episodes), I'll list you the entire chronology of Kaito adaptations, setting the episodes that are not strictly relevant for KaiShin into italics and the ones featuring both Kaito and Shinichi bold. Putting them together when they cover the same story/case.

In regard to positions 12 and 17, I'd like to note that I prefer a chronological order. 219 is a special one hour long episode that, for some inexplicable reason, glues two entirely unrelated Kaitou KID cases together and the case in the first half of this takes places moments before the events of episode 76 and make much more sense to be watched there.
Position 19 is a peculiar one, because the Crystal Mother case was adapted TRICE. But only one version, the OVA, actually features Conan.
And position 34 is slightly different in that the Ryoma treasure case from DC gets a prequel set-up in MK - episodes 9 and the first half of 10 feature how that came to be from Kaito's POV, while the second half of episode 10 and episode 11 cover the case itself. Just, to explain why the 9 is in italics.
But on the overall, if you like KID, I would really just recommend to watch the other specials and MK episodes too, because they're a lot of fun and it's not a huge load to watch.

UPDATE UPDATE UP DATE U P D A A A T E
I'm sobbing with relief, you guys. I've been so stuck on this. I can't believe it took me two months to update. Things were getting better, over the last week or so I managed to write a few sentences here and there, but today it just clicked and I banged out the whole chapter like nobody's business. It feels so good. I don't have the next one written, but I have it outlined, and I have a tentative outline for the rest of the fic--not that we're too near the end, yet. It's just a good sign.
I have some thoughts about the chapter, the fic, and its effect on my mental health, but I have a feeling this will get long so I'm going to put a break. Click if you want to read my rambling about all that, I guess.
Writing this fic ended up being a bigger part of my personal mental health journey than I anticipated, so it's natural that they'd be intertwined. I only wrote it because I was so obsessed with the Suicidal Midoriya Izuku tag I ran out of fics to read and had to make my own. Not exactly "mentally stable" behavior.
If you read Wish I Hadn't Got So Much Better, esp my notes and comments, you know that suicidal ideation is a very real issue for me, both in my past and (surprisingly, like for the Izuku of that story) my present.
I'm not opposed to talking about it, so if anyone wants to chat about that kind of stuff, my DMs and asks are open, seriously, I love talking about mental health and any excuse to talk about myself is welcome. But I won't get into it too much here.
Basically, I was depressed, and dealing with some other physical health issues (TURNS OUT I'VE BEEN BREATHING MOLD FOR MONTHS NO WONDER I'M EXTRA LETHARGIC), and when I started to fall behind on updates, that only exacerbated my anxiety and guilt and, thus, depression.
Something else that came up for me was that I don't totally feel qualified to write about suicide recovery, because I never experienced it in the way I'm writing it.
I basically dumped this on Izuku in Wish I Hadn't Got So Much Better, but essentially, I do have experience with being suicidal, just not the "getting help" part. I do see a psychiatrist for my disorders, but no one ever found out about the suicidal part.
So, like Hizashi and Shouta say in Chapter 13, "Who do I think I am? Why do I think I could take care of a child?" I have no idea what guided recovery looks like, because I did it alone. I kept thinking, what if I'm doing it wrong, what if I'm missing something important, what if people who really had these experiences think I'm taking it lightly?
So that's part of the source for my end note for this chapter--I realized that as long as I'm doing my due diligence, I don't have to feel guilty about getting it wrong, because real people get it wrong too. Also, it's fanfiction, I'm allowed some wiggle room. I've read and loved and recommended fics with far looser basis in reality, and never considered complaining. I'm just a harsher critic of myself than I am of others, as are most people.
On a more technical note, I also struggled with pacing the story. I kept feeling like I was stuck in a real-time pace, and I couldn't figure out how to stop describing literally every action my characters took. How hard is it to zoom out and do a fucking timeskip, for goodness' sake?
For me--very hard, it turns out.
So I kind of gave up, gave myself permission to stop trying. I even stopped reading MHA fics for a little while (no way I could stop reading fics, though). I went back to one of my all-time fave fics, from what might be my favorite anime--Run With the Wind. The fic is Beyond the Wind by kstar2091.
Honestly, I thought my first fic would be in this fandom. I figured it would be a poor homage to this fic, a continuation of canon events finally giving us the romance that had been simmering all 23 episodes. My pfp is best boy Kiyose Haiji for a reason.
Uh oh, that was a bit of a tangent.
My point is, re-reading my fave fic (with delicious new chapters) inspired me, bc kstar is legit VERY GOOD at exactly what I was struggling with--passing a lot of in-story time without sacrificing content or intensity.
So, the little interlude in Izu's POV covering a week or so in the chapter I just posted--that's thanks to kstar2091, Beyond the Wind, and ofc my best boy Haiji. Once I got through that bit, it all started flowing like chocolate sauce at a Golden Corral.
There's a lot of juicy bits upcoming, some of which people have been eagerly awaiting. One of them is obvious. Others, you might hate me for?? But also I hope you'll love them, because you're all screwed up like me.
So yeah, I'm not promising weekly updates anymore, but the juices are flowing, the sun is shining, the mold is blooming in my bedroom, and I'm slowly getting back on my mood stabilizers.
