Pairing: Lara Croft x Reader
Summary: Lara decides that the appropriate time to let her feelings be known is before you're about to die.
NR
WC: 531
"Uh oh," you said quietly as you looked at the stone tablet in your hand. Lara's head shot up from where she had been taking cover to where you were standing. You had been attempting to translate the tablet so that the two of you could find some ancient artifact that Lara wanted to keep out of the wrong people's hands. Personally, this sort of thing wasn't your cup of tea, but Lara had asked you nicely and she was your weak spot. You were the top ancient linguist in the area, but that wasn't why Lara wanted you. Her interest came from a paper you had published just a couple years earlier that had nearly gotten you debunked as an expert. Most people thought what you had been studying was a crock of shit, but Lara had believed every word you said.
"That's not a good thing to hear when you're the one who is supposed to get us out of this mess alive!" Lara called out as she fired shots at a couple more of the mercenaries chasing you. They dropped to the ground, providing Lara with the opportunity to come and see what was up with you. "Can you open the door?" \\"Don't panic, but I either did manage to unlock this door or I set off a booby trap," you told her. Lara's eyes widened in surprise. You weren't an adventurer like her, and maybe, just maybe, you had messed up when reading the tablet because it was hard to translate things whenever you were panicking. "So, we'll either get to the other side safely or fall into a pit of spikes."
"Either way, I'll see you on the other side." Lara pulled your body in close and pressed her lips to yours as she pushed both of you through the door. The two of you tumbled to the ground with you landing on top of her. Lara breathed out a sigh of relief at the fact that there was a floor beneath your bodies. "Lovely." \\"Why did you kiss me?" you asked as you started to get up off of her. Lara sat up, but didn't stand completely. She pulled her knees up to her chest as she let herself calm down a little. You studied her for a couple more seconds before it clicked. "Oh my god, you thought I got us killed."
"Don't say that, it sounds bad when you say it like that. I just thought, maybe there wouldn't be consequences if I kissed you," Lara explained. That didn't sound any better. You'd either be too relieved to care about what she did or you wouldn't be alive to question her about it. "Come on, we should really get out of here."
"You are so lucky that I don't want to die in here right now," you said as you followed Lara. There was a boat waiting for you on the other side of the island, and luckily for you, there was nowhere for Lara to escape until you got the mainland. You weren't mad at Lara for kissing you, but you wished that she had done it during a less hectic time.

Digital Damsel: Judy's Cybernetic Whispers by Jade Gretz
In the neon-lit labyrinth of Night City, where the line between reality and virtuality blurs into a chaotic dance of light and shadow, Judy Alvarez moved with the grace of a ghost through the bustling streets. Her slender figure was a silhouette against the backdrop of towering skyscrapers, her bright blue hair catching the flickering glow of holographic advertisements that littered the cityscape.
But beneath Judy's enigmatic exterior lay a fierce determination, a burning desire to make a difference in a world where corruption and greed reigned supreme. Born and raised in the heart of Night City, Judy had seen the city's underbelly up close, witnessing firsthand the injustices perpetrated by the powerful and the privileged.
Driven by a sense of righteous anger, Judy had carved out a niche for herself as a cyberpunk vigilante, using her skills as a hacker and a tech expert to expose the crimes of the city's elite. With her trusty cyberdeck and her uncanny ability to navigate the digital realm, Judy was a force to be reckoned with, a digital ghost haunting the servers of the city's most powerful corporations.
But Judy's quest for justice had not come without its dangers. She had made enemies in high places, powerful individuals who would stop at nothing to silence her and maintain their stranglehold on the city. Assassins lurked in the shadows, hired guns with cybernetic enhancements and killer instincts, waiting for the chance to take Judy down.
Yet, despite the ever-present threat of violence, Judy remained undeterred. With each new revelation, each new piece of evidence unearthed from the depths of Night City's digital archives, she grew more determined to expose the truth and bring those responsible to justice.
But as Judy delved deeper into the murky world of corporate intrigue and political machinations, she began to uncover secrets that threatened to unravel the very fabric of reality itself. Dark forces lurked in the shadows, ancient and malevolent entities that hungered for power and would stop at nothing to achieve their goals.
Caught in a deadly game of cat and mouse, Judy fou …(see the rest of the story at deviantart.com/jadegretzAI). For more supergirl, chun li, batgirl, tifa, lara croft, wonder woman, rogue and much more, please visit my page at www.deviantart.com/jadegretzai - Thanks for your support :)

Catherine Willows vs. Lara Croft
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Remember: don't vote on "who would win in a fight", but on "who, when given a task that fits her skillset and talents, would do that task better: more comprehensively, faster, with more pizzazz, with less collateral, etc."
Endorsements! "What is she good at?"
Catherine Willows, CSI: Vegas is one of the top labs in the country. Blood splatter expert but obviously knowledgable about forensics generally. Good with people. Single mother and that’s a hard balance.
Lara Croft, Tomb Raider: puzzle solving, fighting, surviving in ridiculously hard conditions with whole armies of professional killers after her, finding artefacts and supernatural objects/people. The only thing she apparently isn't competant at is not destroying every building she goes near.

Book Blurb: Rival archaeologists must team up on a secret Aztec expedition, or it could leave their careers—and hearts—in ruins.
Archaeologist Dr. Socorro “Corrie” Mejía has a bone to pick. Literally.
It’s been Corrie’s life goal to lead an expedition deep into the Mexican jungle in search of the long-lost remains of her ancestor, Chimalli, an ancient warrior of the Aztec empire. But when she is invited to join an all-expenses-paid dig to do just that, Corrie is sure it’s too good to be true...and she’s right.
As the world-renowned expert on Chimalli, by rights Corrie should be leading the expedition, not sharing the glory with her disgustingly handsome nemesis. But Dr. Ford Matthews has been finding new ways to best her since they were in grad school. Ford certainly isn’t thrilled either—with his life in shambles, the last thing he needs is a reminder of their rocky past.
But as the dig begins, it becomes clear they’ll need to work together when they realize a thief is lurking around their campsite, forcing the pair to keep their discoveries—and lingering attraction—under wraps. With money-hungry artifact smugglers, the Mexican authorities, and the lies between them closing in, there’s only one way this all ends—explosively.
Review:
Rival archaeologists have to work together on a secret Aztec expedition all the while dealing with their own complicated history. Archaeologists Dr. Socorror "Corrie" Mejía is a modern day Lara Croft, she's sexy, she's bad ass, and it's been her life's goal to lead an expedition deep into the Mexican jungle in search of the long-lost remains of her ancestor, Chimalli, an ancient warrior of the Aztec empire. When she gets invited to an all-expense-paid dig to do that she can't say no... until she gets there and realizes that her boss for the lead is none other than Dr. Ford Matthews, her hot nemesis who she not only wants to sleep with but hates. Ford and Corrie have a complicated history, from the fact that he took her fellowship to the fact that they nearly slept together. Ford needs Corrie for this dig because he's gotten nowhere with it and the investors need to find the artifact, he desperately needs the money from the dig to help pay for his mother's treatment and he knows only Corrie would be able to lead him to the artifacts. Ford and Corrie are constantly arguing yet their romantic feelings are still there, yet Corrie doesn't know all of Ford's secrets... and if she found out what he's been hiding, he might lose her all over again. With money-hungry artifact smugglers, the Mexican authorities, and all of Ford's lies... these two are in for a really complicated journey. This sounded like something I would absolutely adore, academic rivals with sexual tension, archaeologists/ dig adventure, and second chances??? Yet it fell flat for me, I really did not like Corrie or Ford, and honestly nothing about Ford really made me like him by the end. Knowing Ford, he'd be the kind of guy that I'd hold a grudge with after everything he did. Corrie constantly being descried as sexy and not having much of a personality out of that was just sad. I really didn't see the chemistry or romance between Ford and Corrie, and the actual dig adventure wasn't really that fun at all. This one was a big let down for me because I was expecting a fun rivals adventures rom com and what I got just did not live up to that at all. This one just really felt meh for me and despite that, if you like work rivals with a touch of second chance romance, give this a go, maybe you'll have a better time with it than I did.
*Thanks Netgalley and Berkley Publishing Group, Berkley for sending me an arc in exchange for an honest review*

I’ve been thinking about what powers Valerie could have? Like her linguistic skill, using a magic gun, tech expert, and using marker to travel (and it likely the 2nd Gen Pandavas already have or will learn these skills) So I decide let Valerie be a Jack-of-all-trade and is someone who don’t have a definite style but change it depending on her opponent (unless your telling me one of the 2nd Gen is also like that). Like sometime she’ll fight u close quarter, or shoot you long distance, or outright poison you. It relate to her not having any real interest and trying something different. (Moving every years meant she doesn’t have a definite interest, so she trying something new). Valerie technology skill come from her having to learn how to fix Her computer after it broke and her mom Kara gave her an instruction manual on how to fix it than pay someone to do it or buy a new one.
If she's a jack of all trades traveler, I was thinking of giving her an Indiana Jones type of look. Or maybe Lara Croft? Something along the treasure hunter aesthetic

ahhhh thanks for the vids 🥹 The elephant one was sooo precious ❤️
ohhh for the treasure hunt au: Kassandra is definitely the type who just tries it out cause it sounds awsome and maybe eivor too? Probabyl was convinced to do it cause someone told an awsome (fake) adventure tale 😂
but i mean the first one I though of was lara croft when I read the words treasure hunt, but in that case you would be the amateur and she’s the expert 🤣
And damn wouldnt that be a treat, she just casually trying to show you the way on the map in your hands over your shoulder and you cant focus cause you’re too flustered by her breath on your neck and her toned arms 👀 (ok sry got off topic there 😂)
🐺
omg;;;; should I write for Lara Croft now...? Having thoughts😩
But oh yea, Kassandra just seems so likely to go treasure hunting for shits and giggles, but actually needs to find an artifact so is just a teeeeny bit serious. You on the other hand will maim and kill for it so the dynamic is hilarious....
LMAO Eivor would definitely get tricked to be a treasure hunter or have Sigurd drag her along. She's super grumpy the whole time but gets the job done regardless!

Archaeologist Breaks Down 10 Treasure Hunting Scenes In Movies | How Real Is It?
Archaeology has played a role in scores of iconic Hollywood films, from “The Mummy” to “Titanic.” But what’s a real-life archaeologist’s take on these movies? New York University archaeologist Mariana Castro reacts to 10 scenes featuring the most famous fictional archaeologists and treasure hunters, from Indiana Jones to Lara Croft, and rates them based on their realism.
Find out how realistic Indiana Jones’ adventures are in movies like “Raiders of the Lost Ark” and “Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.” Watch Mariana dissect Nicolas Cage’s methodology in “National Treasure,” Angelina Jolie’s field gear in “Lara Croft: Tomb Raider,” Max von Sydow’s’s Iraq excavation in “The Exorcist,” and Rachel Weisz’s exhumation of the sarcophagus in “The Mummy.” She breaks down the important differences between excavation and looting, does some myth-busting about the pseudoarchaeology depicted in movies like “Stargate,” critiques Matthew McConaughey’s archaeological practices in “Sahara,” and tells us what Disney’s “Atlantis: The Lost Empire” actually gets right about archaeology.
From an expert’s perspective, find out whether archaeologists really use metal detectors, why the military does sometimes get involved in archaeological projects, why alien and space archaeology isn’t a thing, and why actual fieldwork doesn’t look like the shipwreck exploration seen in James Cameron’s “Titanic.” Plus, why booby traps aren’t all that common archaeology finds, and what tricks ancient civilizations actually used to deter looters.

( LARA CROFT ): DON'T LAUGH. ' i assure you, i would never, ' he is, however, smiling a bit, the slight upturn of his lips ; not at her expense, but at a more broad amusement. he's stitched her up well, fingers of an expert working at the deep gash she had procured on tonight's excursion, one hannibal planned to ask about, when the time was right. for now, he was taking care of her, much like he had all of those years ago in the er. pleasing, how an animal would always return to the hand that lended it a tender touch, the one that feeds it and loves it. doctor lecter smiles at her ramblings, the nearly delirious way she speaks about anything and everything she could to keep her mind off of the pain. glancing up at lara, hannibal finishes with the bandage, gathering up the packaging and bloody gauze to throw into the trash bag he had acquired. Be yourself; everyone else is already taken
Summary: Young Lara Croft is at the crossroads in her life. Meeting an elderly archaeologist gives her some insight on what she should do. Based on the original 90's version of Lara Croft and her backstory.
Lara Croft took a deep breath.
This was fine.
Before her father had time to say anything more she turned around. "Sorry, Father. I think I should go and mingle."
She stepped to the door and opened it. If her father wanted to say something more he'd have to cause a scene.
But he was too much of a coward to!
Lara stepped out, her heels clicking on the marble floor. She was trembling and didn't want her father to see it.
"Lara!"
She turned to look at the blonde man. "Oh, there you are. Dear." She spat out the last word out like a curse.
The Earl of Farringdon paused for a moment, before smiling again. "Yes. Had a good talk? With your dad?"
"Absolutely."
God, he was so... Boringly pleasant.
She had known Thomas Farringdon since she was ten, and had been as unimpressed by him when their parents had made them play together.
Lara wanted to spat on the polished floor. Of course, even then, her father had wanted her to marry the boy one day!
Her father's words echoed in her mind.
"You would be a fool to turn down an earl, Lara! Don't be a child!"
She was in her twenties! She had experienced things her father had no idea of!
She turned to glare at the man next to her. Or him.
He reminded her of a dog. And not even one of those sleek racing greyhounds, or feisty hunting dogs that would disappear into the undergrowth, running after a fox. If he was like that at least Lara could have respected him.
No, the blonde young man was like a Labrador, kind and friendly and loyal.
And so very very boring.
He offered his arm to her. "Shall we go?"
"Yes," Lara told him.
Instead of taking his arm she started to walk towards the main hall where most of the quests were.
Thomas walked after her. "Um, so. About the wedding..."
"Wedding?"
"I thought you talked about that with your father? I mean, my parents think, my mother told me to ask you when you-"
When Lara had gone to talk with her father it had been with the intention of telling him she was breaking off the engagement. But she hesitated now to tell it to him.
"I'll see-"
He was still following her. She looked around the room full of quests, trying to think of an excuse.
She felt like she was suffocating at the sight of aristocrats talking to each other, exchanging superficial greetings.
Her eye caught something.
An old man who looked completely out of place, standing up the stairs, apart from rest of the people.
He was not, apart from his battered old fedora, dressed untidily as such. But the quality of the tailoring on his old-fashioned suit and bow-tie set him apart from the other quests who would not have been seen dead in anything but the latest haute couture.
Lara started walking towards him. He seemed to be examining the stained glass window.
"I see someone I know," Lara lied.
The earl looked up. "Oh?"
"Be a dear and go get yourself some refreshments. I am going to catch up with him."
"Who?" He looked at the old man. "Doctor Jones?"
The name was familiar somehow.
"Yes." Lara turned to look at him. "So?"
Finally the earl took the hint and walked off.
Figuring out she might as well talk to the weird old guy, Lara stepped to the man.
Doctor Jones turned to look at her, and Lara noticed he had an eye-patch covering his right eye. He glanced at the earl. "Was that boy giving you trouble?"
So, nothing wrong with his hearing, at least.
"That boy is my fiance," Lara informed him. "Also yes."
"Long story I take it."
He turned to point at the window. "Wonderful work. 13thcentury, I believe. It might be even be older. Unfortunately it's hard to track that down, I believe it was moved to this mansion from a French church some time in the 19th century."
"Are you here for the windows?"
"Yes, actually. I heard this mansion was very interesting architecturally, so I managed to get an invitation. I did a favor to the count some decades ago."
Lara gave him a look. He looked old, at the very least in his 70's.
And the name was familiar...
Then it clicked. "Doctor- You are Indiana Jones!"
Indiana gave her a look and tipped his fedora. "The one and only."
"You wrote the adventures of Henry the Cat!"
Indiana gave her a surprised look before a pleased smile spread on his face. "Yes, I did indeed."
Lara blushed. "I mean, I read them when I was- very little. I did read your traveling books later, of course, and some of your historical novels."
"I hope you enjoyed them. Henry the Cat especially."
"I did."
"I did write them for kids. I wanted to write something children could read, or their parents could read to them, and it would teach them about history and different cultures in a child-friendly way. And maybe get them interested in actual archaeology and history and languages when they got older."
"It definitely worked with me."
She had treasured the books depicting the adventures of a smart little cat with a suddenly-familiar looking fedora. He had gone on adventures and traveled to different countries and learned new languages and discovered treasures in mysterious ruins. At the time Lara had not fully appreciated the way the author had woven real facts and lessons into the books, but they had first gotten Lara fascinated with mysteries and ancient civilizations, and when she had discovered the author had written books for older kids and even adults, she had been delighted.
Indiana smiled. "That's the best feedback you could give me."
Lara nodded. "Of course, just sitting behind the desk, writing, that's easy."
She couldn't keep the bitterness from her voice.
She shifted her weight slightly. Her side was still bandaged, and there was pain when she moved her body in certain ways. She couldn't have worn her favorite dress because of it, and had gone for something far more baggy than usual.
Indiana gave her a curious look. "It's a big world out there. I know you probably feel like an adult but trust me, I did think I had seen everything too when I was your age."
"Really? Had you? Had you watched your friends die in front of you?"
"Dear child..."
There was something more in Indiana's look now. Suddenly his gaze seemed sharper as if Lara was just some interesting historical artifact for him to examine.
He took Lara's hand and examined her fingers. "Frost bite."
"Yes."
"It should heal fully... You were lucky."
"Lucky, huh?"
"You are alive."
"And for what?" Lara turned to look at the party. "For this? For a marriage with some... Man who has never set foot outside England except to go on a beach holiday."
"You are still young."
Lara turned to look at him. He had to understand.
So she told him everything.
How she had been returning from a skiing trip with her friends. How the plane had crashed on the Himalayas. How she had been the only survivor, and fought to stay alive.
When she had set eyes on the small mountain village she had felt like she was saved.
But now that she was back home, she would have rather died.
"Or not died," she corrected. "Disappeared into the mountains. I was... I felt alive."
Indiana, who had been listening without a word, nodded. "But you lived to fight an another day. There is nothing stopping you from going back into the nature, to the unknown."
"There is."
Lara took a deep breath. "My father. Lord Henshingley Croft. I told him I couldn't... Even if I stayed, I can't live the life he wants me to."
It was easy to tell Indiana all this. Perhaps it was because Lara was convinced they would never meet again after this. She could finally put to words what she felt. What it was that felt so especially suffocating.
"I can't marry the man he wants me to. I don't think. I can't see myself marrying anyone. Definitely not someone picked up for me like we were two pedigree horses to be bred."
"And your father is... Old-fashioned like that?"
"I told him I was going to break off the engagement, and he told me I was free to do so. But that he would cut me off financially."
He would do it, Lara was certain of it. No more skiing trips to Switzerland, or holidays in exotic places. He would do his best to clip her wings.
"Ah. I know a thing or two about unsupportive fathers."
"What did you do?"
"I left home. Joined the Belgian army."
"To fight the Nazis?"
Indiana patted her shoulder. "First world war."
"You're old!"
"And I have seen a lot. Known many people. Believe me, you have it better than many people do. If you make preparations, and have at least some family members who will support you, you can do it. You can walk away."
"Maybe I will," Lara told him. "But I could marry the earl. Old Tom is very dull, but kind. I could wrap him around my little finger. Would it really matter I don't love him? Most of the marriages here are not based on love as much as being able to tolerate each other."
"That's not true. Well, not all of them. But want a piece of advice from an old man?"
"Why do I get the feeling you are going to give it to me whether I wanted it or not?"
"Fair. But indulge me. At my age it is sometimes fun to play the wise all-knowing sage." Indiana raised a finger. "Be yourself; everyone else is already taken."
"I think I have seen that on a greeting card," Lara mumbled.
She turned towards Indiana. "Anyway, once I'm back home, I will find my old Henry the Cat books and send them for you to sign.
Indiana tipped her hat. "It would be a pleasure."
Lara felt better now. There was clarity. She had clawed her way through both a Girls boarding school, and icy wilderness. She could find a way to support herself.
Be herself.
Be free.

Lara Croft x f!Reader
Tumblr media
Title: “The greed of man” / see on ao3
Summary: You and your darling Lara are going to a fancy gala party.Or that was the plan, at least.
Contents: vaginal fingering, kissing, nipple play, fluffy lovers, tiny reader, tall Lara Croft, possessive behavior, slight makeup kink,  jealous Lara
Words:1289
In spite of both her social status and profession, it was not often that Lara had to attend any fancy events or galas, but when these inevitably took place, it was always rather exciting to attend with her.
You had put on your most expensive gown, a red piece with rubies and gold accents that Lara had bought for you. A great meticulous effort was always put into your appearance for all the fancy things, not because you wanted to be impressing or fitting in with the upper crust, rather you simply wanted to always look your best for your darling Lara.
When you had finished doing your hair and makeup to perfection, you stepped out of the walk-in closet to see your girlfriend patiently waiting for you, sitting on that antique couch in the middle of her large bedroom.
She wore a sleek black dress that accentuated her beautiful curves in all the right places, her hair left in a carefree ponytail that still managed to look great on her. Looking up from an old, dusty book, her brown eyes glistened in delight as soon as she caught sight of you. The book was quickly put to the side and forgotten.
"Golly!" She exclaimed with a teasing smile. "Now that's a sight for sore eyes, no wonder you took so long. You look just marvelous."
"Well, you are one to talk, beautiful." With a giggle, you walked over to her. A muscular, yet lean arm quickly wrapped around your waist as she pulled you close against her, it was so nice how the curvatures of her body fit so perfectly with yours, like two puzzle pieces made for eachother. Soon her lips were gingerly kissing your temple, trailing a careful path up your hairline towards the crown of your head. Lara dwarfed you in height, so it was quite easy for her to.
"Nonsense!" She laughed against your hair, as her free hand waved at the air with playful, dramatic dismissal. "Whenever we go out like this, I can see how all those blokes stare at you like slobbering dogs."
You giggled again, leaning yourself against her taller frame with certain neediness, playful in nature. Lara joined you in your laughter, with both her arms around you she embraced you tighter, making so your face gently rested on top of her bust, as you stared at her with loving eyes.
"Are you kidding me? It's you who they look at!"
You meant it, and truly, how could you blame them? Lara was stunning in more ways than one, a woman of power and beauty that made you wonder sometimes just how an adventurous lady of posh status and you, a rather average person in most accounts, ended up together. Not that you were complaining of your luck, of course.
"Believe me, they are always looking at you, luv." She reaffirmed, one of her hands traveling to your face, her thumb playfully patting the plumpness of your lower lip. Those brown eyes burned with something, a strong longing that the tomb raider only ever felt towards precious treasures. "You're so beautiful, and men are a bunch of greedy bastards..."
It was a quick way to make your body feel hot, heat rising to your face as you stared into Lara's smoldering gaze. A cheeky smile on her face showing her delight at managing to make you flustered, as always.
"I can't believe it, you're jealous!" You breathed, smiling softly.
"I'm terribly jealous." And with that her lips claimed yours. The kiss was soft at first, the feeling of her soft lips like the touch of a feather, but soon she wanted more, and so did you. Pressing her mouth harder against yours, lips molding perfectly with each other, her tongue slid its way into the sweet inside of your mouth, allowed by your eager need to taste her. You did not even care about ruining your lipstick, because the moment Lara would kiss you all you could think of was her, and only her.
It was like she felt the same, the hunger in which she devoured your breath proving as much. Moaning into the kiss, your hands instinctively went to gently paw at the exposed back of her dress, the feeling of your nails on her skin making Lara groan against your mouth. You could feel your stomach burning with heat, a need for your lover's attention on your pussy growing with each second.
Her strong arms held you tight, hands soon moving to your ass, squeezing through the layers of fabric, making you whine softly. That sound seemed to be enough for her, quickly she was lifting you up effortlessly.
"Lara!"
You yelped, breaking the kiss just as she started walking towards her bed with you. A brief moment of lucidity as you whined. "We are going to be late...!" But you really didn't want her to stop.
And so she didn't. Laying you on the fancy mattess, your body bouncing on it's softness as Lara crawled above you, staring at your red face and ruined lips with positive pride, and possessiveness.
"Oh, let them wait." She reassured, her hand moving to the top of your dress before yanking it down, exposing your tits bare for her. "Right now, you're my treasure."
You gasped. Her lips were drawn to your supple mounds, peppering them with wet kisses as she sucked at the tender skin to leave love bites behind. One of her hands quickly lifted the layers of skirt of your dress until her fingers graced the silk and lace of underwear you wore underneath.
"Oh, Lara..."
Her attention on your tits moved to your tender erect nipples, her mouth latching to one of the hard buds. Her expert tongue teasing them as she suckled from your breast.
Meanwhile, her digits were already playing with your clit, the pad of her finger rubbing and stimulating the little bundle of nerves, making your toes curl, your body writhing underneath her. Soon Lara's fingers were teasing your slick folds, playfully and agonizingly.
But it wasn't until you felt two of them breaching into the fleshy insides of your pussy that you cried loudly to the vast echo of her room.
"Fuck, fuck, Lara...!!"
Your hands found purchase on her hair, messing up her ponytail. She groaned against your breast, pleased and proud to know she was already making you cry for her like that, so needy and desperate, for her an only her. Lara's fingers slid into you easily, pressing against your tight walls to find that sweet spot, curling and twisting until she had found it. You cried again, back arching against her frame, tears pricking your eyes made your mascara run down your cheeks.
"Oh my god, fuck..."
She pumped them into you with loving roughness, stretching you around them and hitting that perfect spot that soon had you pulling at her messy ponytail, you were so close to your peak that your head was turning blank, dizzy.
"Cum for me, darling."
When she whispered those words against your hot skin, you felt yourself overcome by pleasure, an orgasm ripping through your body making you see stars.
"Lara, Lara, LARA!!!"
You screamed, cumming on her fingers. Lara groaned, feeling your juiced coat her digits while your tight walls clamped around them.
As you breathed for air, she started kissing your face, with make up all smeared on it, tenderly before leaning back and watch you like the cat who got the cream.
With a triumphant smirk, the archeologist let out a breathy laugh."So, you still fancy going to the gala?"
"Oh, shut up, you idiot."
You pulled her down to kiss her on the lips again.

Chun-Li's Elegance: Femme Fatale by Jade Gretz
In the pulsating heart of an ancient city, bathed in the glow of neon lights and the rhythmic cadence of distant drums, Chun-Li, the elegant and powerful Interpol officer, found herself entangled in a web of supernatural intrigue. The streets, once alive with the ebb and flow of everyday life, now harbored shadows that whispered of an ancient evil awakening from its slumber.
Chun-Li's investigative instincts had led her to the heart of the city's underbelly, where rumors of a mysterious vampire lord who thrived on the life force of powerful martial artists circulated like ghostly whispers. As an expert in both the physical and metaphysical realms, Chun-Li approached the investigation with a mix of skepticism and determination. Little did she know that her journey would plunge her into a dark and malevolent world where the lines between the corporeal and the ethereal blurred like the edges of a haunting nightmare.
The night was draped in an eerie silence as Chun-Li, clad in her iconic blue qipao, navigated the labyrinthine alleys that wound through the heart of the city. The air, heavy with a palpable sense of foreboding, clung to her like an unseen shroud. The flickering streetlights cast long, twisted shadows that seemed to dance with an otherworldly rhythm.
Her investigation led her to a dilapidated dojo, hidden within the depths of the city's forgotten corners. As Chun-Li cautiously stepped through the creaking doorway, the air thickened with a palpable malevolence. The dojo, once a haven for the disciplined pursuit of martial arts, now exuded a sinister energy that raised the fine hairs on the back of Chun-Li's neck.
In the dimly lit interior, she discovered cryptic symbols painted in crimson on the walls, each stroke resonating with an ancient power. The scent of incense lingered in the air, mingling with an underlying musk that hinted at the presence of something not entirely of this world. As Chun-Li ventured further into the dojo's heart, she felt a spectral gaze upon her, as though unseen eyes observed her every move.
Suddenly, the shadows coalesced into a figure, materializing before her …(see the rest of the story at deviantart.com/jadegretzAI). Hi!!!! I was wondering if you could recommend some of your favourite fleurmione fanfics?
Tumblr media
Oh anon here we go... 👀👀
Saving Souls & Healing Hearts by BatwingLawyer
(This one is *chef’s kiss* My absolute favorite. I adore this depiction of Fleur. She’s positively enchanting here, and everything about this fic is just incredible. I’m obsessed. What do you mean I’ve reread this three times now?)
Summary: Hermione Granger fled Britain seven years ago after the Battle of Hogwarts, still battling against the horror she endured. She's finally content in her quiet life where no one knows her as the Golden Girl until unexpected post from Hogwarts offers her the chance she had once dreamed of. Now, she returns to the castle to find her dreams, her family and her life; she might also find a certain beautiful French witch along the way.
Fighting is our form of Flirting by InsomniacAndBi
(The first Fleurmione fic I’ve ever read!)
Summary: After Hermione witnesses her sort-of-girlfriend/sort-of-best-friend kissing somebody else, she immediately applies for a transfer away from Hogwarts. She thinks that she's lucky to get accepted into Beauxbatons only to find out that her new roommate is a total princess...as in, like an actual princess...of France. OR A Fleurmione Her Royal Highness inspired by the book by Rachel Hawkins.
Entwined and Entangled by OrbitalWings
(I MEAN THIS ONE IS A CLASSIC!)
Summary for Entwined: After an impossible encounter, two young women find their lives destined to entwine. This is the tale of Hermione Granger and Fleur Delacour, and how they fell in love. Summary for Entangled: Sequel to Entwined. Her Fourth Year over, Hermione Granger must come to terms with being apart from the one she loves. But as the days grow darker, Fleur Delacour still offers an island of tranquility in a rapidly changing world.
Hermione Granger: Tomb Raider by Artista
(This one is new! But my oh my, Hermione Granger as Lara Croft.)
Summary: Chaos has erupted in the Veela clans with the death of the queen, and corruption in the High Council would threaten the selection of a new queen, possibly sending the clans into civil war once more. Only the rediscovery of a lost ancient Veela relic can prevent a hostile regime from seizing power, and Fleur Delacour is determined to find it, with the assistance of renowned historian and archaeologist, the nicknamed Tomb Raider Hermione Granger.
Of Teenagers & Love by anamatics
(Signed, sealed, delivered. This fic owns me. )
Summary: On the surface, things are not always what they seem. It takes a few study dates for Hermione to warm up to the girl she thought was the ice queen from Beauxbatons.
Aucune Defense Pour Toi by  dgeheimnis
(This. I think everyone has read this!)
Summary:  Love is like death, sudden and unexpected, long and drawn out. Fleur Delacour is no expert in the ways of love, the English or Hermione Granger. But in Hermione's seventh year, the learning curve is steep. Written, with permission, as a companion piece to Dreiser's "No Defense for You" in Fleur's POV.
So should I wear a wedding dress to our first date?  by  i_shall_wear_midnight, LostParkMih
(This is too cute!)
Summary:  Hermione and Fleur go explore an ancient ruin..
Runes by Cumbersome
(More soulmate stuff. We can’t ever get enough of that soulmate stuff.)
Summary:  Soulmate trash. Because I can. And we all want it.
sometimes you've got to bleed to know by  jump_the_gunn
(This entire fic is an aesthetic; all about that detective partners vibe, and I’m all for it.)
Summary:Ten years after the battle of Hogwarts the top half of a dead body appears in the office of the British Prime Minister's fireplace, with the bottom half appearing in the office of the French Minister for Magic. Aurors Fleur Delacour and Hermione Granger must work together conducting a cross channel investigation to find the killer. Inspired by The Tunnel TV show.
There are tons more that I haven’t finished reading yet, but so far here’s a list of the ones I have! Sorry--it got a bit long! But please, I hope you enjoy reading these as much as I have! 💖

Fire Cannot Kill a Dragon: Ser Jorah Mormont and Iain Glen
Tumblr media Tumblr media
All the Iain Glen and Ser Jorah excerpts from the “Fire Cannot Kill a Dragon” book by James Hibberd.
CASTING (Ch2)
Scottish actor Iain Glen already had some Hollywood genre-movie experience thanks to major roles in films such as Resident Evil: Apocalypse and Lara Croft: Tomb Raider when he tried out for banished Westerosi knight Ser Jorah Mormont.
IAIN GLEN (Jorah Mormont): No one knew anything really about it except that it was HBO and so many [British actors] were going out for it. I met with them, felt pretty good about it, then it all went silent. I said to my wife—and I never usually say this—“I really, really want that job.” She asked why. “Honestly, I don’t know,” I said. “Because I know nothing about it. I just got a funny feeling”
PILOT EPISODE (Ch3)
IAIN GLEN (Jorah Mormont): It was a bit ragged and, in some ways, ill conceived, and no one had great conviction. Since the wedding was shot at night, quite a lot of money had been spent on seeing absolutely fuck-all.
(...)
IAIN GLEN: Some bigwig at HBO said, “Why the fuck did we go to Morocco? You can’t see fucking diddly squat, we could have shot it in a car park!”
SEASON ONE (Ch6)
EMILIA CLARKE: From day one, I was like, “Looking silly is not an option.” And the only way to not look silly is to just be completely balls-in the whole way. Because I thought if anything’s going to end up looking stupid, it’s going to be because of me, not in spite of me. I was too naive to know [others’ messing up] was even a possibility.
Clarke received reassurance and support from her more experienced scene partners Iain Glen and Jason Momoa.
IAIN GLEN (Jorah Mormont): One of Emilia’s great qualities is she has no idea how good she is, but that also causes her to doubt her ability and causes neurosis. She worries. So I always wanted to be reassuring. She would always want to talk through the possibilities in a scene.
(...)
“Those were tough days,” [Emilia Clarke] said, and on the Armchair Expert podcast added, “I’ve had fights on set before where I’m like, ‘No, the sheet stays up,” while praising Momoa and Glen for being helpful and protective.
IAIN GLEN: In moments when she felt exposed because of what she was required to do, I was always very protective of her on set, making sure that the protocol was followed and everyone knew to treat her with respect.
(...)
In the most stunning shot of Thrones’ debut year, Daenerys rose from the ashes, Ser Jorah fell to his knees, and the Mother of Dragons was born.
ALAN TAYLOR: A stuntwoman walked into the flames for Emilia. I didn’t think it was working because she was wearing a gossamer gown like Emilia was wearing and they had to put so much fire retardant on it that it looked like she just climbed out of a vat of Vaseline. I thought, “This is never going to work,” but it seems to work fine.
Clarke’s real-life emotions about performing Daenerys’s rebirth nude were infused into her portrayal of the iconic moment, and she detailed her thoughts during each phase of the reveal.
EMILIA CLARKE (Daenerys Targaryen): On one side, that moment was incredibly powerful. And on the other side, I was butt naked in front of people I didn’t know. Alan saw the fear on my face and said, “Let’s lean into that then.” So there’s that close-up of me looking up at Ser Jorah, who’s looking down. And that’s exactly what I was going through: “I don’t know what this is. I don’t know what I’m expected to feel. I don’t know what I’m expected to do. I’m fully aware that I couldn’t be more ... open.” So the shot went from sitting down where there was fear and then as I stood up I was like, “It’s all out. So you just better own that shit.” Then as you stand up, you think, “Okay, you’ve done the worst bit. You’ve stood up. No one is behind you. No one saw up your ass, so you can stand all the way up now.” Suddenly that feels like a much more confident stance than just sitting cross-legged on the floor buck naked in front of people. Then I just naturally felt my shoulders go back.
(...)
IAIN GLEN (Jorah Mormont): At the time, the dragons were just dots on Emilia’s naked body. But the way she looked and the way the pyre went up, it all felt pretty amazing, and there was that buzz around the cameras that something magical was being created.
EMILIA CLARKE: They were like, “But what about the dragons?!” I decided I wasn’t going to stand there and think I have dragons all over me. This is a stupid example, but if I had my dog, I wouldn’t change my position because she was there. The dog would just exist, and just do whatever they’re going to do.
ALAN TAYLOR: Her performance is so rich and layered in that scene. Also, Iain Glen’s performance. It’s one of those cinematic moments where you convey the wonder of what you’re seeing partly by seeing it but mostly through the old Spielberg trick of watching somebody else react to it. Jorah’s reaction when he sees Daenerys and the dragons and falls to his knee is so beautiful.
(...)
ALAN TAYLOR: Probably the thing I was most proud of was the aftermath. [The dragon reveal] in the novel takes place at night. I wanted to shoot it at dawn and got into a fight with David and Dan about it. I wanted to be able to pull back to see the landscape, and we couldn’t afford to light that much landscape at night. They let me do it. I’m really happy with the shots that bring Jorah in and we do the slow reveal and the magic of the dragons, showing people awakening to this new world, then being able to drop back to a truly vast landscape. And what [composer] Ramin Djawadi does with the music there, so the last thing you hear is the dragons’ cry. The last line of the first book was “And for the first time in hundreds of years, the night came alive with the music of dragons.” So that was a wonderful way to end. We know this world, and now it’s been launched into whole new territory and you can’t wait for next season.
SEASON THREE (Ch9)
ALEX GRAVES: I came up with what’s been called “the Apocalypse Now shot.” But we were filming in Morocco during the Arab Spring, when transporting high explosives into North Africa was not allowed. I didn’t give up because that image of Emilia was so burned into my brain. So we smuggled the explosives into the country to do it. Emilia stood in front of these fireballs and you could feel the heat and the shock wave from the explosions, and she didn’t flinch.
EMILIA CLARKE: Iain Glen, who was consistently my mentor, was like, “Darling, come here. Look at how well taken care of you are. All you have to do is stand in front of that and all this shit is happening.” I realized that was all I needed to do. And it felt so good. It felt so electric. It was like everyone who had ever fucked me off in my life, they had them all lined up.
SEASON EIGHT’S SCRIPT (Ch28)
IAIN GLEN (Jorah Mormont): For eight years, you go, “Please-please ...” You just want to stay in the party, you just want to stay on board. This was the season to [get killed off], if you’re going to go. It’s a heroic and satisfying demise [for Ser Jorah]. Dan and David were sweetly nervous about everyone’s reaction, and their instinct is you'll be upset if you go. So the first thing I did was I emailed them and told them how much I loved the scripts.
JORAH’S ARC (Ch28)
... and Jorah Mormont, who died protecting Daenerys from the Army of the Dead.
IAIN GLEN (Jorah Mormont): You either conclude as a character, or you get to the end of the whole thing and people try to project forward of what’s the future of your character that you'll never know. I was happy to conclude. He would absolutely sacrifice his life for her to succeed. In a way, he was given the conclusion he wanted.
DAVE HILL: For a long time we wanted Ser Jorah there at the Wall in the very end—the three coming out of the tunnel [in the series finale] were to be Jon, Jorah, and Tormund. But the amount of logic we’d have had to bend to get Jorah up to the Wall and get him to leave Dany’s side right before [her tragic turn]—there’s no way to do that blithely, and Jorah should have the noble death he craved defending the woman he loves.
SHOOTING THE LONG NIGHT (Ch29)
Those fifty-five nights sandwiched in the middle of an already demanding schedule became like a real-life version of an eternal soul-crushing supernatural winter. The production had the added misfortune of getting slammed by two “polar vortex” storms, dubbed “the Beast from the East” in the press, as if White Walkers had literally arrived on the set. The storms brought extreme low temperatures with weather that local reports said felt as low as nineteen degrees Fahrenheit. “One night we were supposed to film Jorah defending Dany by a flaming trebuchet, and we had to call it off because it got so cold that the gas fire bars wouldn’t light,” Dave Hill recalled.
The cold blast combined with freezing rain, gusting wind, and an intensively physical and technical job that stretched from early evenings to the mornings. The Thrones crew prided themselves on being resilient, but the “The Long Night” very nearly broke them. The cast had to become actor-athletes, enduring week after week of physical endurance challenges while continuing to give their usual acclaimed performances.
IAIN GLEN: I don’t think people can comprehend what eleven weeks of continuous night shoots does to the human body and brain. It destroys your system and your thinking. We just had to get so wet and so dirty and so cold and do it again and again that it really was the hardest thing in all eight seasons for all departments. You kind of try and retain a gallows humor, but it was absolutely brutal. In storytelling terms, it made sense because of who they were up against. But it was a real test. It completely fucked your body clock. You have no life outside it. On day shoots you'll go have a meal in the evening and do a bit of something. On nights those down hours are removed. You get to sleep at seven in the morning and then you get up in the midday and can’t really do anything. It was the most unpleasant experience in all of Thrones.
(...)
IAIN GLEN: How Miguel managed to hold it together is beyond my comprehension.
(...)
IAIN GLEN: You had an absolute fucked bunch of actors, but on-screen it looks horrible and dirty and dark and cold. Without getting too Method about it, it bleeds onto the screen.
HER BELOVED SER JORAH (Ch30)
What followed was a succession of, as Clarke put it, “strings being cut” for Daenerys. After their victorious battle against the Army of the Dead, Daenerys lost her beloved Ser Jorah. And when Varys heard of Jon’s rightful claim, the Spider took steps against his queen, attempting to manipulate a scenario where Jon could sit on the Iron Throne instead. Daenerys, already feeling isolated and paranoid, ordered Varys executed by dragon fire. And that, in turn, further caused Tyrion and Jon to question their loyalty to her.
THE PYRES (Ch31)
Ser Jorah was laid to rest after the Battle of Winterfell, with Iain Glen among several actors lying on funeral pyres.
IAIN GLEN (Jorah Mormont): In that moment, I was aurally saying goodbye, listening to the set operating. What a vast, slick machine it had become, and to hear it orchestrating ... I got into it. Everything echoes backward over the past decade. Trying to let the whole thing go.
But when Daenerys said farewell to her faithful friend, she bent forward and whispered something in his ear. In the script, her words are described as “something Jorah will never hear, and we will never know.” Appropriately enough, Iain Glen will not reveal what Emilia Clarke said.
IAIN GLEN: It was something entirely sincere and true to the moment and something that I will never forget. I'll always cherish it because it’s something no one will ever know but the two of us. And that’s a memory to hold on to.
THE END (Ch32)
IAIN GLEN (Jorah Mormont): What we do as actors is ephemeral. We get lost in something and then go get lost in something else. But to live in that for a decade was the best thing ever to be involved in. Until my dying day it will be the most exceptional experience. To be in the biggest hit ever is the best feeling. What you can’t do is project ahead and say, “I want more than that,” because it ain’t going to happen. It’s a once-in-a-lifetime thing. You have your final shot, your final red carpet—all of the “finals” of everything. There’s even a final “How do you feel about it ending?” It never hit me that much. It’s only looking back now, occasionally, that a shock will go through me: “I won’t be doing that again.” I can be doing anything, but it’s usually around work, when I just get a memory of the Thrones world. You had the most amazing support, the most brilliant crew, these great friendships, and a great deal of love for what we were doing, where anything was possible. Nothing will ever compare to it. Nothing will be like that, ever.
