Demona: Tempest of Despair by Jade Gretz
The wind howled like a banshee through the skeletal boughs of the ancient oaks, their gnarled limbs clawing at the bruised twilight sky. Demona perched on a crumbling stone gargoyle on the battlements of Castle Wyvern, her own reflection staring back at her in the cold, lifeless eyes of the grotesque sculpture.
Centuries stretched before her, a tapestry woven with betrayal, rage, and a gnawing sense of isolation. Human by birth, demon by transformation, she belonged to neither realm. A monstrous gargoyle by day, ostracized by her own kind, a shadow lurking in the human world by night.
Tonight, the burden of her dual nature felt heavier than usual. The memory of Goliath's accusing gaze after their latest clash echoed in her mind, a constant reminder of the fractured bond she once cherished. The humans, blinded by fear and superstition, viewed her as a monster. Even Xanatos, the mischievous gargoyle she'd shared a begrudging partnership with, had betrayed her trust.
Despondency threatened to engulf her, but Demona, ever the warrior, wouldn't allow it. She gritted her teeth, the gargoyle beneath her responding with a sympathetic creak. A flicker of movement on the distant horizon caught her eye – a lone figure navigating the treacherous mountain path leading towards the castle.
As the figure drew closer, Demona recognized Elisa Maza, the head of security at Xanatos Enterprises. Elisa, with her unwavering belief in the good that resided within Demona, was a beacon of acceptance in the otherwise bleak landscape of her existence.
But something felt different tonight. Elisa wasn't her usual composed self, her eyes wide with a frantic terror. She stumbled onto the battlements, breathless and shaking.
"Demona," she gasped, gripping the cold stone for support. "You have to leave. Now!"
Demona's brow furrowed. "What's wrong, Elisa? Has Xanatos concocted another of his schemes?"
Elisa shook her head. "It's worse. Much worse. There's a darkness… an ancient evil stirring at the heart of the mountain."
Demona scoffed. "Ancient evil? You sound like a superstitious …(see the rest of the story at deviantart.com/jadegretzAI). For more supergirl, chun li, batgirl, tifa, lara croft, wonder woman, rogue and much more, please visit my page at www.deviantart.com/jadegretzai - Thanks for your support :)

Neural Nectar: Judy's Virtual Mirage by Jade Gretz
The flickering neon glow of Night City reflected off Judy Alvarez's chrome visor, casting long, distorted shadows across her face. Rain, laced with the metallic tang of pollution, lashed against her reinforced jacket as she raced through the labyrinthine alleyways of Watson. Her cybernetic eye, enhanced with advanced optics, scanned the environment with frantic urgency.
She wasn't searching for braindance clients or ripperdocs with shady wares this night. Judy was chasing a ghost – a temporal anomaly that had manifested in the heart of Night City, a distortion in the fabric of time itself. It was a chilling anomaly she'd first glimpsed weeks ago, a fleeting flicker on a discarded Braindance chip – a woman, eerily familiar, pleading for help from a desolate wasteland devoid of Night City's signature neon chaos.
Tonight, the anomaly had intensified. Time seemed to stutter around Judy, seconds stretching and contracting in an unnerving dance. Buildings flickered in and out of existence, replaced by glimpses of the desolate wasteland from the Braindance. The world was unraveling at the seams, and Judy, a skilled Braindance technician with a knack for the bizarre, was the only one who seemed to notice.
The anomaly's epicenter lay within Lizzie's Bar, a seedy establishment frequented by ex-scavengers and petty criminals. Judy pushed through the swinging doors, the stench of stale beer and desperation thick in the air. The bar's usual patrons weren't present, replaced by a handful of dazed individuals, oblivious to the temporal anomalies warping reality around them.
In the center of the bar stood a lone figure, a woman with fiery red hair framing a face etched with despair. It was the woman from the Braindance – Evelyn Parker, Judy's former flame, presumed dead after a botched heist. The sight sent a jolt of conflicting emotions through Judy – grief, confusion, and a flicker of anger.
"Evelyn?" Judy's voice was strained, barely audible above the distorted hum of the malfunctioning jukebox.
Evelyn turned, her eyes widening in shock. Recognition flickered across her face …(see the rest of the story at deviantart.com/jadegretzAI). Miranda's Echoes of Perfection by Jade Gretz
Miranda Lawson stood on the observation deck of the Cerberus frigate, the Widow, surveying the sprawling slums of Omega. The stench of desperation and decay wafted upwards, a grim contrast to the sterile opulence of the ship's interior. She was here on Cerberus business – a quick recon mission to assess a potential smuggling operation.
Little did she know, she had walked into a nightmare.
A tremor ran through the Widow, shaking its metal frame. Alarms blared, red lights strobing rhythmically. Miranda's hand instinctively grasped her sidearm, a customized Cerberus pistol she'd named "Nemesis."
"What's happening?" she demanded, her voice sharp, eyes scanning the bridge for any sign of a threat.
"Unknown vessel approaching at high velocity, Captain," reported an unnerved crewman at the communications console. "Hostile intent confirmed. They're not responding to hails."
Miranda felt a prickle of unease crawl up her spine. Hostile encounters weren't uncommon in Omega's lawless sprawl, but this felt different. There was a calculated precision in the unidentified ship's approach, a chilling intent that made the hairs on her arms stand on end.
Moments later, the Widow lurched violently as the unidentified ship unleashed a barrage of energy fire. One of the frigates escorting them erupted in a ball of fire, showering the area with debris. Panic began to rise amongst the crew, but Miranda slammed her fist on the command console, her voice resonating with a steely authority.
"Everyone at their stations! We engage!"
She knew a straight-up fight with an unknown enemy, especially one this aggressive, was a gamble. They needed to jump into the hyperspace relay in Omega's orbit if they had any chance of escape.
"Engineer, prepare for immediate jump!" she barked, her eyes narrowed in concentration.
But it was too late. The unidentified ship, a sleek, obsidian vessel unlike anything Miranda had ever seen, unleashed a pulse of crackling energy that enveloped the Widow. The ship's systems went haywire, alarms blaring into a cacophony of electronic shrieks. …(see the rest of the story at deviantart.com/jadegretzAI). Aayla Secura: Enigmatic Force of Balance by Jade Gretz
The desolate plains of Felucia stretched before Aayla Secura, a canvas of ochre dust and twisted, skeletal flora. A harsh wind whipped at her lekku, carrying with it the scent of decay and something far more unsettling – a bitter echo of betrayal. It had been years since Order 66, years since her brothers in arms turned their weapons on the Jedi. Yet, here, on this forgotten world, the ghosts of that dark day seemed to cling to the very air.
Aayla had come to Felucia not as a warrior, but as a pilgrim. Master Yoda, in his cryptic wisdom, had sent her on this solo mission, a chance to confront the horrors she had endured and the darkness that still lingered within. It was a daunting task, one that made her grip tighten on the lightsaber nestled at her hip, a weapon that now felt more like a weight than a source of comfort.
The Jedi Temple on Felucia, once a haven for knowledge and serenity, lay in ruins. Stone pillars, scorched and crumbling, jutted from the red sand like skeletal fingers pointing towards an unforgiving sky. As Aayla stepped through the shattered remains of the entrance, a flock of carrion birds startled from their macabre feast, their shrill cries echoing through the desolate halls.
Memories assailed her. Memories of laughter shared with Barriss Offee, her closest friend among the Jedi younglings, in the temple's tranquil gardens. Memories of intense lightsaber training duels under the watchful gaze of Master Plo Koon. And then, the most chilling memory of all – the betrayal, the blaster fire searing through her back as the clones she had fought alongside turned on her in a heartbeat.
Aayla pushed the memories down, her grip tightening further on her lightsaber. This wasn't a time for introspection, not amidst the desolation. Her mission, according to Master Yoda's cryptic instructions, was to recover a hidden data archive rumored to be within the temple's depths.
The deeper she ventured, the more unsettling the temple became. Strange symbols, etched onto the walls by an unknown hand, writhed with an otherworldly malice. The air grew heavy, thick wi …(see the rest of the story at deviantart.com/jadegretzAI). Power Girl: Kryptonian Strength, Earthly Grace by Jade Gretz
The Metropolis skyline shimmered through Power Girl's heat vision, the familiar cityscape both comforting and strangely distorted. A jarring dissonance vibrated through the air, a high-pitched whine that made her teeth ache. It was Saturday afternoon, a time usually reserved for leisurely brunches with Huntress or relaxing balcony sunbathing. Today, however, was different. Today, Power Girl was trapped.
It had started innocently enough. Brainiac, the ever-present Kryptonian villain, had materialized above Metropolis, his emerald skullship casting an ominous shadow. Power Girl, ever the front line, rocketed towards him, a confident smirk plastered on her face. Their battle raged across the skies, a blur of super-powered punches and crackling energy blasts. Just as she lined up a decisive blow, the whine started.
It pierced through the cacophony of battle, a sharp, insistent sound that burrowed into her skull. Then, the world flickered. One moment she was about to pummel Brainiac, the next, she was hurtling backwards through time.
She landed with a crash on a deserted rooftop, disoriented and confused. Brainiac's ship was gone, the city eerily silent. It didn't take long for her to realize something was terribly wrong. The time was wrong. Billboards advertised events that had already happened. Newsstands displayed yesterday's headlines. Power Girl was trapped in a time loop, reliving the same Saturday afternoon over and over.
At first, she found it amusing. She used her powers to her advantage, preventing petty crimes, indulging in extra slices of cheesecake at her favorite diner, knowing the consequences wouldn't last. But amusement soon turned to frustration. No matter what she did, the loop remained unbroken. Defeat Brainiac earlier? The whine would appear, and she'd find herself back on the deserted rooftop. Stay out of the fight entirely? Same result.
Days, or rather, the same day repeated endlessly, bled into each other. Power Girl's boundless optimism began to crack. The cheer that usually filled her voice felt strained, her confident smile felt forced. E …(see the rest of the story at deviantart.com/jadegretzAI). Kitana: The Deadly Princess of Edenia by Jade Gretz
Kitana, bathed in the moonlight filtering through the Soul Chamber's onyx ceiling, practiced her Sai millennia of duty honed into a flawless dance of steel. Her scarlet fans, once emblems of Edenian royalty, now served a dual purpose – elegant weapons and conduits for the formidable magic that flowed through her veins.
Tonight, however, a shadow lurked beneath the practiced movements. Master Bo' Rai Cho's recent training, focusing on harnessing the Netherrealm's energies to strengthen her kombat abilities, felt like a gamble. The Netherrealm, a realm of eternal torment, was a festering pit of darkness – a tempting power Kitana had always felt hesitant to utilize.
Her movements, normally infused with the serene grace of Edenian courtly dances, grew sharper, laced with an unsettling aggression. As she twirled, a wisp of black smoke escaped the swirling energy channeled through her fans. Her heart pounded, a tremor of unease settling in her stomach.
Suddenly, the air shimmered, and a distorted echo of her movements materialized beside her. A shadowy Kitana, composed entirely of swirling purple energy, mirrored each of her strikes. This spectral twin, devoid of her regal features, exuded an aura of malevolent power.
Kitana stumbled back, fear twisting her usually composed expression. "What is this?" she gasped, her voice barely a whisper.
A rasping, disembodied voice, a chilling blend of Kitana's familiar cadence and a guttural Netherrealm snarl, echoed within the chamber. "This, Princess," it hissed, "is your true potential. Unleash the power that lies dormant within you."
The spectral Kitana lunged, its shadowy Sai slashing viciously. Kitana barely parried the attack, her movements sluggish, overwhelmed by the raw power coursing through her. Fear and a dawning realization clawed at her – she had opened a doorway, a bridge between her own essence and the Netherrealm's corrupting influence.
The battle raged throughout the night. Kitana, overwhelmed by the phantom's relentless attacks and the growing corruption within her, felt her control slipping. Her fans …(see the rest of the story at deviantart.com/jadegretzAI). Poison Ivy: Enchantress of Green by Jade Gretz
Gotham's neon lights bled into a sickly orange glow at the swamp's edge. The air hung heavy, thick with the scent of decaying vegetation and something far more acrid – a venomous undercurrent that made Pamela Isley, aka Poison Ivy, smile. This was her haven, a twisted Eden carved from gnarled cypress trees and fetid water.
Newspapers fluttered in the stagnant air, remnants of reporters foolish enough to trespass. Each one held the same sensationalized story: Poison Ivy, once Gotham's enigmatic eco-warrior, had vanished. But she hadn't vanished. She had evolved.
Rage simmered beneath Pamela's emerald green eyes. The city, with its insatiable hunger for progress, had pushed her too far. The bulldozers leveling the Amazon rainforest, the toxic waste dumped into pristine rivers - it all fueled a burning resentment that transformed Gotham's once troubled botanist into something far more dangerous.
A symphony of croaks and rustling leaves filled the air as Pamela strolled deeper into the swamp. Her scarlet dress, a vibrant contrast to the decaying foliage, swayed with each confident stride. Every step left an imprint of vibrant green vines that snaked eagerly across the damp earth, claiming the swamp as her personal domain.
The heart of her new sanctuary was a colossal banyan tree, its twisted branches adorned with luminous pods that pulsed with an eerie greenish glow. Inside each pod, Pamela had cultivated her most deadly creations – hybrid plants designed to inflict a far more gruesome fate than her typical itchy rash.
There were the Thorned Vipers, elegant roses mutated with the venom of desert vipers. A single prick would send shivers of agonizing pain through the victim, followed by paralysis and a slow, agonizing death. The Blood Orchids, with their mesmerizing crimson petals, emitted a hypnotic aroma that lured the unwary close enough for their razor-sharp leaves to deliver a fatal dose of toxic sap.
Tonight, however, Pamela was expecting company. A lone figure emerged from the trees, silhouetted by the sickly swamp light. It was James Gordon, Gotham's stalwart Com …(see the rest of the story at deviantart.com/jadegretzAI). Luminary Hunter: Samus's Essence by Jade Gretz
The desolate gas giant, Y’evga, pulsed with an unnatural luminosity. Its swirling atmosphere, a canvas of sickly greens and purples, churned with unseen storms. Samus Aran, encased in her trademark Power Suit, hovered at the edge of the roiling clouds, the oppressive silence broken only by the low hum of her thruster boots.
This wasn't a typical bounty hunt. There were no Metroid outbreaks, no space pirates to blast into oblivion. This was a message, a cryptic one received from an anonymous source, that spoke of a forgotten evil buried deep within Y’evga. Curiosity, always a driving force for the stoic bounty hunter, propelled her into this unsettling mission.
Scanning the roiling clouds, her visor picked up an anomaly – a dark chasm, a gaping wound in the planet's swirling surface. It pulsed with a faint bioluminescent glow, an unnatural light that seemed to warp the surrounding space. With a flicker of trepidation, Samus activated her Grapple Beam and descended.
The chasm narrowed as she plunged deeper, the oppressive darkness suffocating. The bioluminescence intensified, revealing grotesque, undulating structures lining the walls, pulsating with an unsettling rhythm. It was alien architecture, unlike anything she had encountered before, organic and unsettling, hinting at a power both ancient and dreadful.
Finally, the chasm opened into a vast cavern. The floor shimmered with an obsidian sheen, reflecting the bioluminescent glow, creating a scene of unsettling beauty. And in the center, bound by a network of crackling energy tendrils, writhed a monstrous entity.
It defied description. A colossal mass of writhing tentacles, pulsating flesh, and eyes – countless, unblinking, staring into the abyss. The entity pulsed with a malevolent intelligence, a force so potent it felt like a physical blow. Samus felt her suit’s AI, the ever-reliable A.I.I., flicker momentarily, overwhelmed by the sheer wrongness of the presence before her.
An ancient, primal fear clawed at the edges of her consciousness. This was an entity older than time itself, a creature that belonged to the …(see the rest of the story at deviantart.com/jadegretzAI). Majestic Supergirl: Flight of Elegance by Jade Gretz
A blinding flash of emerald light engulfed Supergirl. One moment she was soaring above National City, the familiar warmth of the sun on her back, the next, a suffocating darkness pressed in on her. Disoriented, she stumbled to her feet, the once bustling cityscape replaced by a twisted landscape of jagged obsidian towers and perpetually churning skies.
Gone was the vibrant blue of Earth's sky, replaced by a sickly, swirling green. The air crackled with a malevolent energy, and a putrid stench filled Supergirl's nostrils. Panic clawed at her throat. Where was she? What had happened?
Suddenly, a flicker of movement in the distance caught her eye. A figure, clad in a familiar blue and red, but with a sinister twist. The costume was tattered and stained, the red replaced by a deep, menacing crimson. Supergirl's heart lurched – it was her, but twisted, corrupted.
"Kara?" she called out, her voice echoing eerily in the desolate landscape.
The figure stopped, its head snapping towards her. Where Supergirl bore the symbol of hope, a stygian black sun emblazoned the chest of this shadow-self. The face, a near-perfect copy of Kara's with eyes burning an unnatural crimson, stretched into a grotesque parody of a smile.
"Lost, little cousin?" a voice echoed from within the darkness, its melodic cadence distorted with a chilling malice. The shadow-Supergirl stepped closer, her movements predatory. "Welcome to the Blighted Dimension, cousin. We've been expecting you."
Fear prickled at Supergirl's skin, but she squared her shoulders, forcing a semblance of defiance. "Who are you? Where's Superman?"
The shadow-Supergirl threw her head back and let out a chilling laugh, the sound devoid of humor, echoing through the wasteland. "Superman? He's here too, Kara," she sneered, "but not quite the way you remember him."
As if on cue, a hulking figure emerged from the obsidian towers. It was Superman, clad in his signature blue and red, but the red was a sickly, pulsating maroon. His eyes, once bright with determination, glowed an unnatural yellow, his face etched with …(see the rest of the story at deviantart.com/jadegretzAI). The Jessica Rabbit Enigma by Jade Gretz
The air hung thick with the aroma of spilled champagne and desperation. Jessica Rabbit, her crimson dress clinging to her curves like a second skin, stood alone on the opulent balcony overlooking the teeming casino floor. Diamonds glittered around her neck, a mocking reminder of the gilded cage she called life.
Tonight's Roger Rabbit Club soiree was in full swing. Toon gangsters mingled with socialites, their laughter laced with an undercurrent of tension. Jessica watched them, a bitter smile twisting her ruby red lips. Just a few days ago, she'd believed in the glamour of it all. Now, disillusionment clung to her like a suffocating fog.
The truth had arrived in a crumpled note, delivered by a nervous-looking waiter. It was a blackmail threat, scrawled in spidery handwriting, accusing Roger of involvement in a shady land deal that threatened to displace an entire toon neighborhood. The note mentioned debts owed, whispers of a mysterious third party known only as "The Ink Blot," and a chilling ultimatum – Roger Rabbit would disappear, replaced by a fraudulent look-alike, unless he relinquished a substantial chunk of the club's profits.
Jessica hadn't confronted Roger directly. The man, perpetually harried and sweating under his green fur, was a master of deflection, adept at weaving webs of denial. Besides, fear gnawed at her. This wasn't a mere spat between rival clubs. This reeked of a deeper darkness, a sinister plot that threatened their very existence.
A deep voice, laced with a hint of sleaze, broke her reverie. It was Marvin Acme, the portly owner of Toon Town, his eyes leering at her like a hungry wolf. He sidled up to her, his cologne a sickly concoction of power and desperation.
"Looking radiant tonight, Jessica," he purred, his voice dripping with a false sincerity. "Like a rose in full bloom."
Jessica offered him a tight smile, her eyes devoid of warmth. "Flattery will get you nowhere, Marvin."
Acme chuckled, the sound like a dying walrus. "Perhaps not," he conceded, "but perhaps honesty will. Have you heard the rumors swirling around Roger?"

Ahsoka: Jedi Warrior's Journey by Jade Gretz
Ahsoka Tano, the Togruta warrior with eyes the color of twilight, surveyed the desolate landscape with a sinking feeling. The desolate plains of the uncharted world crackled with an unnatural energy, a sickly green luminescence that stained the sky and cast grotesque shadows. Here, on this forgotten world, whispered rumors spoke of an ancient evil, a slumbering horror that threatened to engulf the galaxy.
She wasn't alone. Beside her stood Ezra Bridger, the Force-sensitive teenager who had become her reluctant companion. His youthful bravado, once so endearing, seemed a fragile mask against the growing fear in his eyes.
"Are you sure about this, Ahsoka?" Ezra's voice, barely above a whisper, cracked with uncertainty. "This place gives me the creeps."
Ahsoka forced a smile, though it felt brittle despite her best efforts. "We have to try, Ezra. The fate of countless worlds could hang in the balance." Their intel – gleaned from cryptic texts and whispers exchanged in the underbelly of the galaxy – pointed to this barren world as the prison of an entity known only as the "Devourer."
Ancient murals, etched into the crumbling remains of what could have once been temples, depicted the Devourer as a monstrosity of pure darkness, a swirling vortex of malevolent energy with an insatiable hunger for life itself. The legends were chilling, but Ahsoka, seasoned by war and loss, knew all too well the horrors the galaxy could harbor.
Suddenly, the ground trembled beneath their feet. A guttural shriek, born of pure malice, echoed across the plains, sending a shiver down Ahsoka's spine. The Force pulsed around them, a dark, churning tide that filled her with dread. The Devourer was stirring.
Following the tremor, a towering figure emerged from the horizon, a grotesque mockery of life. It was a mass of writhing darkness, tendrils of shadow lashing the air, a single, malevolent eye burning with an unholy light.
Ezra gasped, his grip tightening on his lightsaber. Ahsoka, her own hand automatically reaching for her white lightsabers, felt a familiar tug in the Force – a desperate …(see the rest of the story at deviantart.com/jadegretzAI). D.VA: Pixel Powerhouse by Jade Gretz
D.Va felt the familiar weight of her mech, the Meka, settle around her like a second skin. The cockpit screens flickered to life, displaying the treacherous lunar landscape that stretched before her. Tonight's mission on Luna Base One was a solo operation – retrieve a data core rumored to contain classified Overwatch intel, and get out before the base's self-destruction sequence detonated.
Easy in theory. But D.Va, the youngest member of Overwatch and resident gamer extraordinaire, knew better. Luna Base One, once a beacon of human progress, now stood as a crumbling monument to a forgotten war. The Omnic Crisis, a brutal clash between humanity and its own creations, had left the base riddled with dormant traps and automated defenses.
Taking a deep breath, D.Va slammed her fist on the control panel. "Hana Song reporting for duty," she chirped, her voice laced with a bravado that masked the gnawing anxiety in her gut. Tonight, the playful streamer persona she projected to the world felt like a flimsy shield against the encroaching darkness.
The initial leg of the journey was uneventful, the Meka crunching over moon dust as D.Va navigated through the skeletal remains of lunar rovers and collapsed buildings. But as she reached the base's central hub, the silence shattered.
A bloodcurdling shriek echoed through the comms, a sound that sent shivers down D.Va's spine. It was the digitized voice of a Bastion unit, a mangled Omnic killing machine notorious for its relentless aggression. The screens flickered to life, revealing a horrifying sight – a horde of Bastions, their rusted hulls reactivated, lumbered towards a squad of terrified Overwatch agents.
The playful tone evaporated from D.Va's voice. "Alright team," she muttered, a grim resolve hardening her features, "Looks like we're changing the plan." With a flick of the wrist, she unleashed a barrage of Fusion Cannons, the Meka roaring to life.
The battle was a whirlwind of explosions and molten metal. D.Va, relying on her reflexes honed through years of competitive gaming, weaved her Meka through a hail of enemy fire. Her Light …(see the rest of the story at deviantart.com/jadegretzAI). Jewel Thief's Charm: Black Cat's Captivating Grace by Jade Gretz
Black Cat, perched high atop a gargoyle overlooking the grimy docks of Hell's Kitchen, scanned the scene below with the practiced ease of a seasoned predator. Two rival gangs, the notorious Maggia and a newer, more ruthless bunch known as the Serpent's Eye, stood poised on the precipice of a bloody confrontation.
The air crackled with a tension thicker than the smog that hung heavy over the city. Black Cat, adorned in her sleek black suit and shimmering emerald glasses, couldn't help but smirk. This face-off was a delicious opportunity, a chance to stir the pot, to play these fools against each other for her own amusement.
The Maggia, a collection of aging gangsters clad in ill-fitting suits, exuded a kind of desperate bravado. Their leader, a portly man named Sal with a greasy pompadour and a face like a crumpled map, puffed out his chest in a vain attempt to appear intimidating.
On the other side, the Serpent's Eye presented a more chilling presence. Led by a woman named Viper, whose serpentine features were accentuated by her venomous green eyes and cruel smile, they were a younger, more ruthless breed. Their black uniforms, sleek and menacing, whispered of violence and technology.
Black Cat knew rumors of the Serpent's Eye's methods – a twisted mix of ancient sorcery and high-tech weaponry. They weren't just gangsters; they were something more twisted, more dangerous.
Their meeting point was a dilapidated warehouse, its windows boarded up and its paint peeling like leprous flesh. A single, flickering bulb cast an eerie orange glow on the scene. Sal, his voice raspy from a lifetime of bad habits, broke the tense silence.
"Viper," he rasped, "you're on Maggia turf here. What do you want?"
Viper, her emerald eyes glinting with a chilling amusement, took a step forward. "This territory, Sal. It belongs to the Serpent's Eye now."
Sal scoffed, his hand instinctively reaching for the switchblade strapped to his ankle. "You got some nerve, girl. The Maggia's controlled these docks for decades."
Black Cat, unable to resist a bit …(see the rest of the story at deviantart.com/jadegretzAI). For more supergirl, chun li, batgirl, tifa, lara croft, wonder woman, rogue and much more, please visit my page at www.deviantart.com/jadegretzai - Thanks for your support :)

Elisa Maza: Guardian of the City by Jade Gretz
Elisa perched precariously on the gargoyle of the clock tower, the wind whipping at her hair as she surveyed the scene below. Gothic spires, usually bathed in the comforting glow of streetlamps, seemed to writhe like skeletal fingers beneath the cold, pale moonlight. An unnatural mist clung to the cobblestone streets, obscuring the gargoyles who usually stood guard with Elisa. They were silent, their stone forms frozen in a tableau of terror.
From the heart of the mist, a monstrous figure emerged. It was Demona, yes, but not the Demona Elisa knew. Gone was the sleek, panther-like grace of the gargoyle clan leader. In its place stood a grotesque parody of a gargoyle, a creature seemingly stitched together from nightmares. Its wings, once powerful and elegant, were now tattered and dripping with a black ichor. Its eyes, once intelligent and calculating, glowed a sickly green, radiating a malevolent energy.
An inhuman shriek, a sound that crawled under Elisa's skin and gnawed at her sanity, split the air. Demona’s monstrous form unfolded, its limbs extending into impossibly long, whip-like appendages that slithered and pulsed with a grotesque life of their own. Those limbs, she realized with a surge of horror, were the stone forms of Demona's clan, twisted and warped by some dark magic.
"Elisa Maza," Demona's voice rasped, a distorted echo of its former self. "You have interfered for the last time." The monstrous form twitched, its elongated limbs snapping and snarling in a display of predatory anticipation.
Elisa knew this wasn't Demona – not entirely. Something dark, something ancient and evil had infected her former ally, twisting both her form and her mind. A wave of grief threatened to engulf her, but Elisa pushed it down. There would be time for mourning later. Now, there was only survival.
Drawing upon the years of training she received from Goliath and the other gargoyles, Elisa reached into her backpack, retrieving the weapons Goliath had insisted she carry – a length of climbing rope, a hefty grappling hook, and a pair of throwing daggers glinting silver in the moonl …(see the rest of the story at deviantart.com/jadegretzAI). Maris Brood: Darkened Resolve by Jade Gretz
Maris Brood cursed under her breath, her boots crunching on the obsidian sand that stretched endlessly before her.
