it never slips my mind that kaycee died young but it took me a bit to register that her manner of death is one of the most unimaginably painful ones to go through. oh well if homegirl was lucky she passed out from the smoke before she could feel her skin peel off 😁🤞

WIP Wednesday (9/27)  | Arsonist Neil / Firefighter Andrew AU

After the cookies are done and Andrew devours half of them, he goes home to his apartment to get some real sleep. His schedule at the firehouse is twenty-four hours on and forty-eight off. So now, he’s got two days to do nothing but think about blue eyes and the way the arsonist laughed at him. Stupid, pretty bastard.

Andrew drops onto his sofa and starts to put the TV on. Then he thinks of something. Something potentially more interesting than a documentary about polar bears. Andrew saw the arsonist’s phone number. He blinks and sees it behind his eyelids. And considers calling it. 

No, Andrew shakes his head. That’s a ridiculous idea.

But texting him… That would be alright.

Andrew props his feet up on the coffee table and starts to type out a message to a new number, wondering whether he’ll receive an answer at all. For all he knows, the arsonist only uses it to call in his fires. It could be turned off right now. Before Andrew can decide to send the message his phone vibrates in his hand, scaring the shit out of him. How the hell—
