Hi Max, I know it's the day after Wild Wednesday, but I just want to say thank you and let you know how much I appreciate that you hold WW every week. It is honestly my most anticipated day of the week, a perfect mixture of sweet and spicy to help me get through the always tiring middle of the week. I can't tell you how fun it is trying to keep a straight face in class while reading the asks and your response. At least for me, WW is not only a place to share thoughts, ideas, and inspirations, (and recipes lol) but also a safe space, for non-binary people, people who have experienced SA, "fat" girls….. I am relatively new to the fandom but as I go through some of the older WW asks, I am honestly moved and shocked by the EMOTIONAL VALUE that you have provided. It really is a place for people who share the same love and (desire lol) for the boys to come together, a "community" in a sense. It is amazing that you take time and effort every week to read, select, and respond to the asks, to provide joy for us. That's quite a selfless and generous thing to do, to carve out a cozy space, to receive and process the emotion people "throw" at you. I am sorry that there are some rude people, but I believe most people are nice and kind. Thank you for what you do, you are a wonderful person. Hope you have a good day :))
When I tell you, I have had the worst nights sleep and a rough morning, and this just brought me to tears.
I am so very glad to have such a wonderful following, especially when it comes to my Wild Wednesday posts. I hate to complain, but sometimes it is very hard, and I'm so happy to know that y'all see the effort I put into making Wednesdays a day to look forward to.
In regards to making it a place for the fandom as a community, I want to say that everyone in this fandom, deserves to see themselves represented in fic. One size does not fit all and I want to spread love and positivity, especially sex positivity!
It means so much to me that people be heard through WW. I love to write and sitting down to write full fics isn't as easy for me as it was now that my life is changing (I'm still gonna write I promise it just takes a while) and Wild Wednesday allows me to exercise that writing muscle and give the girls (gn) what they want.
Y'all are so special to me. Thank you for your kind words and thank you all for loving Wild Wednesdays. 🥰

This year is a leap year, and as 29th February is not technically a real day, I'm giving you the chance to spend 28th February with a Pedro character that you love and 29th February with a Pedro character that you don't. Which are they, and how are you spending your days?

I’m going to answer for the Pedro character I do not love: Maxwell Lord. I will pull that man by his hair, dye it back to its beautiful chocolate brown and kick him to go spend quality time with his son. 😤 I’ve only watched WW 1984 once, will not watch it again. No thank you. Keep Max over there. 👀 Ewww…
Now picking a Pedro character I like, there’s so many! (Besides Maxwell thank goodness!) This is hard because I would like to make a schedule for at least four of them, that’s not too greedy right? 😂
My top three: Din Djarin, Javi G and Tim Rockford. Maybe not what you were expecting but this is Nerdie so, meh. 🫤 Which one of these three would I choose for the 28th…. This is a very difficult choice, but it’s gonna be Javier Gutierrez 🧸
My heart will always be fond of our dogged, holster wearing, no those white shirts fit just right Detective 🕵️ Rockford and our bounty hunter with a heart as big as his pulse rifle Din Djarin.
But Javi G though 🥰
He’d be fine with me being loud, snorting a bit when I laugh and requesting that after we watch three Nic Cage movies, we watch The Lion King, Robin Hood: Men in Tights and Harlem Nights. All excellent movies and if he for some reason hasn’t see these, he will with me. We will laugh, cry, sing along and debate the importance of pinkie toes so long I will forget that I have to see Maxwell (bless you Javi G for making me forget that man. He’s a stain on my brain.) 🧠
I know that after having difficult cases or hunts, Tim and Din aren’t going to be too happy about my volume. I have only one - loud. Not really calming. Like they may need.
Javi G might find my volume endearing and love when I exclaim at different things during “Gone in 60 seconds” maybe. 🤔 Also people forget that Javi is an excellent shot just like Tim and Din (maybe not Din but who else has a pulse rifle?) And that touches me deeply (insert whatever dirty joke suits your fancy, I’ll accept all of them). Plus I can floof his hair during the movie or Javi might agree because I said I wanted to. I wouldn’t have to explain why.
Tim would want me to explain why he needs to swear his holsters despite being home to tease me which would work - I would feel like my face is on fire but that’s fine. Din would not understand my fascination with his beskar or extreme interest in it outside of him being a Mandalorian. I would melt into the floor when Din would ask (because he’s our inquisitive non-judgmental big metal bean) why am I so focused on it. I can’t lie, he’s got sensors and has been a bounty hunter long enough to that I’m lying and I just can’t tell him why to his T-visor. My why would be best described in my Sardi’ka Sessions and I cannot say any of that to his helmet. 😭
Anyway, that’s my spiel. Javi G is below because that’s who I’m spending the 28th with. I would leave Max waiting for me very sad and spend the 29th with Javi as well.

I don’t like to compare Tim and Tom but anon acting like Tom is beneath Tim is funny. Yes Wonka was a success ($600million ww). Uncharted is $400million ww. This was after theater just open up again. This was a video game although popular usually don’t do well. Wonka come from a popular IP, come out during Christmas where family want to go watch movies together. Uncharted came out during Feb/March where movies usually don’t do well. Context matters if you want to compare or put someone down.

Actors don't have to have the same EXACT path in order to be successful in the industry or to be appreciated by the masses.

It would actually be amazing if fandoms would join forces and just be HAPPY when ANY of these young actors did well and had new projects out, because their careers are exciting to watch! 😁 (Or, at least for ME it is.... lol)

some of you people are just thinly veiled ww antis.
i cannot believe in this day and age after EVERYTHING we’ve been through, there’s any questions as to whether or not this is the move for him. not just for him, for everyone. building a solid solo career to guarantee a successful future regardless of what happens. in a perfect world everyone is treated fairly, whether it be getting enough work or enough rest. i believe we all have our grievances, and they, for the most part, valid.
this applies to everyone in nct, everyone in kpop, everyone who is a celebrity. you could extend this to regular people and say it’s a good idea to have a solid career regardless of what area you’re in. but in kpop specifically, the industry moves so fast. there are groups who are hugely successful that debuted less than 5 years ago being called flops because there’s newer shinier groups that everyone is obsessed with now. the 7 year curse is generous for many groups, since it’s so common for groups to lose members earlier, or the group to disband before then for whatever reason.
especially as a foreign idol. this is so important. i am overjoyed that yuta started doing the same. i think it’s brilliant to ensure individual fame and success while still having the security of a group. i pray nct doesn’t get smaller because they are my favorite group and i want to have them in my life always. i love them all and i want them to be happy and together. but due to circumstances that none of us can really control, there is a chance the group will get smaller. and in the case that certain people leave, i want them to be happy and successful no matter what they choose to do. i’ll be heartbroken and devastated but it’s the reality of loving anything, that you can get hurt. lol that got deep but in all seriousness, having any sort of emotional investment in anything, ESPECIALLY SOMETHING LIKE KPOP 😭 is bound to pose challenges.
i’ve realized that many permanent groups are just like temporary groups. permanent groups have the benefit of time, and more likely contract extensions, but ultimately, it’s all about making a name for yourself and guaranteeing a future career if/when the group is over.
i’m just laughing thinking about what it’s like if ww turned down opportunities in favor of…… whatever sm is (not) doing.
like imagine the editors of elle magazine are like yo bro, want to be on the cover?? and whoever organizes paris fashion week or valentino partners or whatever is like hey do u want to come to our exclusive event where you can get a lot of exposure?? some people really want ww to be like no thanks ☺️ im just gonna hang out here and wait for my company to remember my group exists even though my fans have been begging for the bare minimum since 2016 and i have never been properly cared for or utilized even though im popular talented charming and beautiful 😇
you don’t think i’d love to see him with them all the time???? every other hour i post about how much i miss NCT WINWIN. i miss him. i miss him so much. it’s not fun, it’s not easy. but he’s my fav, i want him to do well, i want to see him succeed, i want him to do what he needs to do. and yes i pray every night that he will be fully present for this nct 2023 thing.
…lastly. going back to the anti thing. so many beg and hope and pray for their fav to have solo activities. but when someone else does all the sudden he’s abandoning the group 🤨 ok.
“why isn’t winwin here” “wayv is basically 5 now” “nct is a part time job for him” if you paid attention to him and actually cared you would know he loves his group and his members and their music. he always promotes wayv when on solo schedules, talks about how grateful he is for weishennies/nctzens/yunqis, and has a wonderful relationship with the other guys. i’m sure he would be more present if sm didn’t plan things 2 hours before they happen.

Happy wild Wednesday! I’m a long time follower of WW but I’ve never submitted anything 🙈
I was just offered my dream job as a performer in Disney World! 🥳 Just thinking about Danny being so sweet and supportive and the biggest cheerleader throughout the whole process of auditions and the struggles with that and then celebrating with me now that I’ve gotten the good news. I can just see him asking every day after the audition if I’ve heard anything yet and perking up every time my phone rings waiting for that phone call. And when I’ve given up and accepted that I won’t be hearing back he’s there to reassure me. Finally after the phone call comes in while he’s there he sits so quietly knee bouncing and after I’m off the phone he’s tackling me into the couch to smother in kisses. “I knew you had it. They would’ve been stupid not to offer you that. I’m so proud of you.” And then he’s off to tell everyone and their mother that his girl is going to be a Disney princess, more excited for this opportunity than I am.
Awww, congratulations, that's so exciting!! He'd shower you in kisses and say something like, "Does this make me your prince?" With a cheeky little grin, he'd always call you his princess too, but now it's doubly true. 🥰

Ayyy another excuse to ramble about my favorite topic(s), how wonderful! :D
I am gonna put a read more here because this got longer than intended.
First of all, thank you! I was prepared to ask that question until I get an answer, it was really a surprise when Shane answered it this week. (For anyone who didn’t know, I asked Shane about the Mr Leather video he did for Buzzfeed years ago.)
I just want to hear that man talk about queer stuff, it is one of my greatest joys in life. I liked the Mr Leather video a lot, and it made me want to learn more about the leather community and its history.
I didn't know that Annie was on the same team before this - and now she works for Watcher! That's amazing.
It's also really cool to see how they talk about a time that has kind of shaped them and brought them to where they are now - but at the same time, they can say about Buzzfeed what they want because it's on patreon. ^-^
I loved to hear them talk about the documentaries they had to do and how Buzzfeed wanted them to make one a week - and Shane made "one every three to five weeks, as is my pace". It's so... Shane of him, I adore that a lot.
I am absolutely in love with the fact that he wanted to make a show with the concept "me meetin' folks!" Hnghghgh HOW do I even put into words how wonderful I think that is!!! And again, it is so very Shane. I feel like he continued to do that with Weird/Wonderful - there is this wonderful curiosity he has to experience new things and meet new people who maybe have a different perspective than he has and stories to tell that he did not know about.
I would also pay real actual money to see the footage they could not put on youtube for the video. I love how he describes it. Here's a quote for everyone who is not on patreon: "It was a very neat show. The show was a lot more graphic than I expected. I couldn't put a lot in the video. (...) Honestly, it was a celebration! I'm not condemning the graphic nature of it. There were just a lot of, like, dicks and butts everywhere and I was just like, this is like a real vibe here!"
Like, GOOD LORD, I love him. And I absolutely believe him when he says stuff like this. He seems so sincere with it and he says it in such a non-judgmental way.
Here's another quote: "I don't know that I did the best documentarian work on it 'cause I just sort of was like, look at them go!" (Btw when he says "look at them go!" it sounds a tiny little bit... like he is making fun of it - but not of the people involved in the leather community but of his own way to make the documentary. He starts another sentence before Annie starts talking: "I did not really tap into anything super-" And I just want to say, it was a delightful video!! Give yourself some credit, sir!)
Soooo yeah I liked hearing them talk about their Buzzfeed days but you can see where my priorities are here. :p
Idk I just find it really refreshing how Shane talks about LGBTQ+ things (and things in general tbh). And “look at them go!” is not the worst way to approach it lmao. In fact, it is such a sweet way. (Also, I am incredibly queer and if someone who is not queer but as supportive as he is would “look at them go!” me, I would be super fucking happy. Idk he tends to be a little awkward with it sometimes and it is just really endearing. Makes me feel many things, especially because I also know enough (non-queer) people who are scared to talk about LGBTQ+ things and are just sort of tense with it; and he isn’t like that at all.)
And the whole video just made and makes me want to learn more, and that is probably a very good thing for a documentary. The leather community and its history is so friggin’ fascinating, as is queer history in general.
Wellllll that’s enough rambling from me for now. I know this got long but - what fun! What joy! :D

the following is gonna be annoying and it’s mostly just for me to get my feelings out so.... yeha

ok first off, i.... i didn’t not like the movie. it just wasn’t good. like, the main drive behind my like for this movie is my love of diana & barbara (GAYYYY), a distraught latino man apologizing to his kid, and my belief that Steve Trevor is Trans.
fr. there were so many plot holes and a lot of flimsy writing. it was a beautiful message, and i really liked that part. but so much of the movie was spent trying to fit shit in and make shit work that is not working. but i wanna talk more about my 3 likes of the movie so i’m gonna do that.
a) DIANA AND BARBARA
at this point, we are aware that i am very gay. them made me happy. the literal “help u pick up ur papers” meet cute? flustered nerdy barb with cool calm collected diana? so much serotonin. there were even more scenes with them together that made me go 👀 give wonder woman a girlfriend for gods sake. she deserves it.
b) pedro pascal
there is something that hits different about a guy talking to me in an accent that sounds like my dad’s and telling me he’s sorry and he’s acting like a dad. no i will not elaborate.
c) steve trevor is trans
ok i remember reading this theory when the first ww came out, but there was one scene in particular that stood out to me. when pedro pascal grabbed steve, he asked him what he wanted. in all the world what did he want. “do you want to be a real boy?” my heart stopped.
ok all the weird shitty parts
steve and diana had no chemistry in the movie. in the first, it was believable and cute and heart wrenching and shit. but this one? nothing. bad writing.
pedro pascal never turned bad. he kept getting sicker and sicker and we even saw black blood (????) but..... again, no follow thru. he just wished for more health. that could’ve been an opportunity to show the ‘real’ villain, or smthn scary. idk
THE MULTIPLE CIVILIZATIONS DISAPPEARING SCENE. WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT AHAHAHAHAH! yeah ancient rome disappeared without a trace. no one knows where it went. so crazy. wow. deadass what the fuck was that we very obviously have history of the fall of rome. then THE MAYANS OOO THAT GOT ME FIRED UP yeah the mayans MYSTERIOUSLY DISAPPEARED cuz they MADE TOO MANY SELFISH WISHES. FUCKING WHAT!??? yeah sure let’s just ignore colonialization.

Sending this early in hopes that you are doing WW this week… today’s my birthday 🥺🥺 and I keep thinking about waking up with josh on a day like today?? I’m not a fan of my birthday but I know he’d probably make it sweet and I’m just curious as to what ways he’d make it a good day by being sweet and what things he’d do *ahem* behind closed doors *ahem* to make it a good day, too 🥺🥺🥺 if you would t mind sharing your thoughts??? Idk
I just had a birthday too so I get the feeling of anxiety.
I feel like birthdays to Josh are a huge deal, he would be the one asking, "what do you want for your birthday?" "Any plans for your birthday coming up?" All with a sweet smile that makes you think that Josh already has an assortment of ideas. "Not really." You'd say, Josh's face would lightly waver at your answer. It breaks his heart that you never cared for your birthday, but when you and Josh started dating, he made it his mission for you to love your birthday.
He'd wake you up gently by carrying in breakfast in bed, softly singing "happy birthday" as he walks in to the room and sets your food down for you. He'd sit beside you with his own coffee and tell you about his plans for the day and you can only grin like an idiot while he tells you the exciting plans. A trip to the art museum a romantic dinner at your favorite restaurant and drinks at the bar with your closest friends. He'd take care of all the organizing and planning the whole thing as to let you enjoy the day. I feel like Josh is just such a sweetheart and only want to give you the best of everything. 💖
