Ooooo for the childhood friends i think that sometimes they would go on arcade as a hangout mostly after class? I feel like s/o and himmel would get dragged by venti or maybe the s/o asks to join with them. I actually headcanon that both twins are surprisingly good with rhythm arcadea mainly because their reaction time is good.
Arcade dates with either of them is so sweet aaaarghhhh *cries*
- ☁️
I can see venti’s the one who often asks you two if you wanna go to the arcade to have fun. It’s still early so why not play some games? And i do agree with you the twins are good with rhythmic games!
I think venti will be good at playing dancerush stardom! He’s going to flex his skills to reader and he wants to impress her not just only dancing but also perfect combo-ing the songs. He’s also good with rhythm arcade games and one of the players who has the highest score!
Himmel will be more on the usual tap tap rhythm games. Taiko, maimai, maybe even guitar hero (lol not a game you can find in arcades but he plays that. Same with venti)
Venti and Himmel also have rhythm games on their phone! I think venti’s would be more of the idol ones like bang dream or love live while himmel’s more on the story-oriented rhythm games such as cytus and deemo! Psst deemo is his favorite game!
If you’re into rhythm games as well then this is going to be so much fun. After school hours, the three of you will go to the arcade to play some but the twins also want to try different games, maybe they’ll try those crane games and give an anemo plushie to you as a gift.
The two keeps switching and every time they fail to drop down the plushie, they’ll spend more money on the game. Later on they give up. Venti calling the claw game machine a scam while Himmel apologizes for not winning the anemo plushie to you. You decided to try it out and used the trick you have learned from a certain friend, you got three stuffed toys in just one attempt and they’re both impressed and amazed at your skill.
“Waaah~ why didn’t you tell us sooner you’re good with this?” Venti exclaimed and stared at the toy, squishing the body and laughing at its softness.
“Oh, Lumine told me a trick to that.” You said and gave the other one to Himmel.
“I see.” The older twin thanked you with a smile and held it close to him. “Aether’s mostly the one who’s good with these.” You added before grabbing their hands and leaving the place.
The boys’ brows knitted together at the mention of their classmate. Aether? You mean Lumine’s twin? Since when did you start hanging out with him?Could it be that Aether’s the one who’s been giving all these plushies to you? Is he the reason why you have so many of them in your room?!

Music is such a wonderful thing. I shudder to think of where ai might be in life if I didn’t have it as an escape.
Haha, in fact, let me go and talk about something I never planned for this post to be: my journey through YouTube’s music.
I was younger then, an eighth grade who listened primarily to classical music. Around that time, I discovered My Little Pony (yeah, hate me, it was still a fun show and more of a guilty pleasure for someone who struggled making friends). Now, I did keep tabs on the show but I was primarily dragged into the fanfics (I LOVE READING!) and its music.
So who did I find? Two awesome people that I still listen to: Aviators and 4Everfreebrony. I also loved Aftermath, but they fell off the earth a long time ago. There’s also The Living Tombstone. Fell in love with Discord from him, although I found out much later that it was a remix! From a Eurobeat producer called Odyssey.
Now, I’ll get to Eurobeat in a bit, because I got into that too. First, I’d also love to talk about some games that I played that pulled me deeper into the music corner of YouTube. Deemo. Cytus. And VOEZ.
These are three apps developed by a company called Rayark. Love their work, and love the music in these rhythm games. I particularly played them to death in the summer of 2016 or 2017. Had a massive headache for months during that time, so I stayed in bed reading and playing these games.
Searching for songs in the games on YouTube drove me to Eurobeat for Touhou of all things. Which I liked. Never could find that mix again, though….
But that’s not when I started truly listening to Eurobeat! Nope! Instead, we need to fast forward another year to when I got into Rewrite! A visual novel by Key Visual Studios.
I’ve always loved video game soundtracks, being a Zelda nut and all, but this game sold me. So much so that I spent like $300 to help support its western release. Great game, fantastic story, and phenomenal music. Listen to Koibumi/Love Letter if you ever get the chance. There’s a few different versions too, with the more classical version being my favorite~ Scene Shifts There is fucking heart wrenching too.
Around that time I started loving video game music even more, along with anime OSTs too. Xenoblade is another one of my favorites, and I love the work of Hiroyuki Sawano.
So…anime, right? Well, I at some point was wanting to find that Eurobeat mix I was talking about. Touhou. Eurobeat. What more to search to find it? Well, several years of backlog meant a lot.
But I found someone by the name of T. Stevie’s who did fantastic Touhou Eurobeat! And his alter ego? Odyssey.
So yeah, that was fun. My friend told me Initial D had even more, so I went all in. And now I’m here! Mostly. Sometime down the road to here I also discovered a few others!
Vocaloid music I found: Rachie, Jubyphonic, LeeAndLie, Crusher P, Circus P, Creep P, Jayney, Yusuke Kira, REOL, etc.
Bands I started listening to recently: The Killers, Pink Floyd, Modest Mouse, Ninja Sex Party (Honestly really good), Fallout Boy, Of Monsters and Men, Watsky, Mystery Skulls (Found by listening to a cover by Ken Ashcorp)
An artist I fell in love with due to Deemo: Mili, known for their work on Ender Lilies, Goblin Slayer, and Library of Ruina now.
Avicii has been awesome as well~ Gah…there’s just too many great artists out there, and you never can truly find out if you like them if you don’t listen. Too many artists also don’t get their time to shine because they’re not well known or too well known.
So many that I listen to but just can’t remember. Anyway, my last recommendation is TheFatRat. Sorry for the long post, and I promise to make an even longer one whenever I get around to talking about my journey into anime and novels.
Who would have thought I’d have such diverse tastes after listening to purely classical music just seven or so years ago.
Also, thanks to Pukicho for making me realize (mainly just from listening to their music) how much you can’t judge music until you properly listen to it. Love his music to.
…Okay, I swear this is the last thing. ADHD makes me just keep remembering more music. Duet. A fantastic app with fantastic music. Now, I’m going to sleep knowing 90% of people who read this stopped at MLP, and that barely anyone will see this. Woo!
