My first ever aesthetic! This is for my OC Lenci. She has fire powers and is all warmth through and through! As I get better at these I’ll probably redo it later. But I think it’s a pretty alright first attempt. Her description from my book is below the cut if you missed it.

Beck watched as a woman took a seat at the bar two stools away from him. Her red hair was in a messy bun with the rest covered by her truckers hat. The light hanging directly above her made the wide brim shadow her features, shrouding her in mystery. A black leather jacket covered a hooded one. Tight jeans showed off her luscious curves. She ordered a club soda, which he thought was weird. He looked back down into his tumbler of whiskey. Attraction was present, but he wasn’t emotionally ready to be in the mood for attempting flirting.

“Excuse me,” the redhead said. “May I?” She motioned to the seat right next to Beck.

“Um,” he hesitated, “I don’t really—“

“Can we talk a minute?” She slid over before he could say anything else. “I’ll buy you another drink.” Her coral tinted lips became visible as she looked up at him and smiled.

Beck sighed at his now empty glass and mulled over his options. He could get up and leave. What could she possibly have to talk to him about anyway? It couldn’t possibly be that important. She seemed nice enough. But he’d only been single a few weeks. His heart wasn’t ready for anything with anyone else. Another drink could help with that though. He nodded for her to continue.

“One more please,” she told the bartender. “And can I get a slice of pizza and some fries?” The bartender filled Beck’s glass and went in the back to place the food order. “I’m Lenci.”

“I’m—“

“Beck,” Lenci cut him off. “I know. It’s great to finally meet you.”

Beck looked over at her brown eyes, which were lined in black. “Have we met before?”

“Nope.”

For Edifice:

Lenci is usually pretty quick to trust. She’s met a lot of people in her 220 years and prefers to give them the benefit of the doubt.

For WBAB:

Amara is not so trusting. She’s dealt with a bit of bias against people with powers in her life and takes a while to trust others. It even took her a long time to trust Tucian before he proposed!

Hey there! Happy STS to you too! Thanks so much for the ask!

For Edifice, Lenci enjoys meditating while sitting in a lit fire pit. It’s totally normal to her but it’s a shock to Beck when he first meets her.

For Wedding Bells and Blood, Amara falls asleep in random places while reading and she bites her bottom lip when thinking.
