Soon after, you had starting dating and became the most legendary couple at the school

At first, your mom was skeptical but realized that Hope had truly loved you.

The real reason as why Bonnie was cautious of you dating Hope was that she didn't want you to go through what she went when she was younger (her friends using her for magic)

Enzo was protective like the helicopter dad who would always say, "Door is open at all times." or would just randomly burst in, scaring the shit out of the two of you

Same with Klaus, he was determined to make sure that you never break his daughter's heart.

All those good times and laughs that you shared with him vanished. Poof, all gone. You were dating his daughter and that changes everything

When holidays arrive you would take turns spending at each families and sometimes even combining both (mostly being christmas and you or hope's birthday)

♡ Initially, Nick had asked you out for pizza on a Friday night. Yeah, it was such a classic date, but you two enjoyed each other’s company regardless.

Nick would be in total denial about her cold, but her body betrayed her as she released a hoarse cough from her throat. Embarrassingly looking back up at you, she’d awkwardly smile, clutching onto the tissue in her hand, seeing a pointed look on your face.

♡ Nick being sick = Nick being constantly pampered by you.

♡ At first, she would reject your advances of helping her with small tasks, stating that she didn’t rely on co-dependency and did it herself. Frequently, you would place her back in bed and continue her tasks. But she secretly loves it when you pamper her, despite what you are doing on a daily basis, she just loves the extra undivided attention. And she knows that you love giving her extra attention.

After a while when she’s feeling better, she whines out to you, “(Y/N)….(Y/N)!! Where are you, I need you!”

“Just wanted to make sure that you were still here.” A wicked grin plastered her face as you rolled your eyes at her.

She would be curious about learning how to braid your hair, enthralled at the many different styles that black girl hair can be fixed into. So many choices yet there was only one Nick who collectively loved them all.

♡ Nick loathes manipulative people on the whole. Putting it all out there, Nick was the manipulator and being manipulated, but she quickly redeemed herself. Being the victim of manipulation took a dangerous effect on Nick’s mental health.

♡ She also hates unnecessary oversharing in conversations. Generally speaking, if someone intentionally overshares, it tends to irritate Nick so she’d just opt and leave in the middle of the conversation. If that person’s feelings are hurt, then too bad, Nick doesn’t care at all.

♡ Now, there’s only one thing that you do that irks Nick to her soul. She hates it when you call her by her full first name, ‘Nicole’ seeing as she’s used to hearing ‘Nicky’.

It’s just something that stirs her in the wrong way, and she will visibly cringe if you shout it at her. Your stern tone yelling at Nicole would make her feel like she wronged you in some way, and her face would drop immediately after so she would be quick to ask what she had done and attempt to make things right between you two.

♡ You can’t convince me that she is a decent sleeper but in fact, she’s quite a messy sleeper. Her arms and legs are hogging the bed, always yanking the blanket, and constantly up under you. She’s also a consistent mover in her sleep, so if you wake up on the floor just know that Nick probably kicked you off the bed.

♡ Nick is a light snorer, sometimes having detailed dreams that cause her to mumble incoherently to herself.
