Hasegawa Family

Hasegawa family consisted of three members, Oliver, the father, from Canada, Nanako, the mother, from Japan, and Langa, their son, who all three together lived in Canada. When Oliver died, Nanako and Langa moved to Okinawa, Japan, Nanako's hometown. They're currently caring for a dog that Langa and Reki found and fed, whom they named Buddy, as he was very friendly. Buddy followed Langa to the apartment, Nanako let him stay for one night and he eventually stayed with them until today.

Many of the characters are constantly changing, such as hair, eyes, facial features, to make them look more like the canon, but keeping our way of making sims, so the appearance may vary a little over time.

Names marked with * are unofficial characters. Characters marked with ✩ are the most common ones to appear in our stories.

Langa is the son of Nanako and Oliver. He came to Okinawa with his mother from Canada after his father passed away. He had been very attached to both of them as they were a very close family, spending many days snowboarding together, since he was very young, until his father died. He tried to go back to snowboarding, but without him by his side, alone, it was practically impossible to feel the same passion as before.

Once in Okinawa, he met many people, starting with Reki, a guy who is a classmate from the same school, to whom one day his skateboard went down the street, finding him Langa and becoming interested in the sport and Reki.

Since he was a child he has been playing sports encouraged by his father and mother, he started practicing snowboarding with his father, he's very good at many sports if not all of them, but in spite of that, the one he has the most fun and practices the most is skateboarding, because in a way it is similar to snowboarding but without snow and being able to practice it freely and infinitely in a lot of different terrains.

He's a genius in studies and also when it comes to snowboarding and skateboarding, but in Japanese calligraphy and language still has a lot of room for improvement. In spite of that in English he's a fast reader and is able to read many books. Sometimes he seems very innocent but it's just the way he is, since he was a child has only been interested in snowboarding and nowadays in skateboarding, so can be lost in those things he doesn't understand or he's not that interested in (this can also be applied to hamburgers and his poutine or food in general).

He's an independent guy, whenever he stays home alone knows how to handle the household chores. As for music, he likes and listens to Hip Hop, some songs he tries to sing, although feels a little embarrassed at the thought of doing it in front of other people. He doesn't really like DJ music, which sometimes makes him have small deep conversations with Reki, when he talks about those styles, since Reki likes them, but they soon pass when start talking about skateboarding.

Among the activities he likes to practice are singing and dancing, he says that one day wants to do like ADAM and dance on his skateboard, but he hasn't mastered dancing very well yet. He likes to look for flowers and climb, activities that he has long since abandoned, since they were two things he used to do with his father and mother.

His favorite colors are red, blue and yellow.

Oliver's widowed wife and Langa's mother. After death of her husband Oliver, she was worried about their son's mental and physical health. From that day on, she was afraid that he wouldn't make it and would remain in sadness, even though he always told her that everything was fine. She saw that it was not so, since Langa had no friends and always went out alone, so when some time passed, she thought that a change of place would be good for both of them and so they packed their bags and traveled to Okinawa, Japan, the land where she was born and grew up. There Langa met a guy, Reki, and she realized that her son was once again lively and happy.

Nanako is a nurse and like almost all nurses she always has a smile and positive, cheerful words for her patients and their families. She's very familiar, so much so that even if Oliver is not present with them, she always asks him for advice on almost every new decision she makes in life or that has to do with their son.

She doesn't like blues music very much, every time listens to it changes the music station. Lately she has become very fond of playing video games, especially with her son. Her least favorite color is blue… poor son of hers. As for decorations, the basic one is the one likes the most and therefore the apartment where they live is full of furniture of that style.

Husband of Nanako, and father of Langa, the three of them lived together in Canada. He was an expert snowboarder. He taught Langa from a very young age and they would go snowboarding as a family. As the years passed he died and Nanako and Langa left Canada behind and moved to Okinawa. He was a very optimistic, patient and family oriented person.

Buddy is a dog that Reki and Langa found in the street, inside a small box. They fed him and named Buddy, as he was always looking to be pampered by both of them, he barked in response to their questions and got on Langa and Reki's skateboard to skate. That day when they both skateboarded back to their own homes, Buddy stealthily followed Langa to his apartment. Nanako, seeing the situation, let Buddy stay alone for the night and promised Langa to find another place for him to stay. The next day Langa and Reki talked to each other, they tried to convince Reki's mother, but she flatly refused, as there were already too many members in the Kyan family and for the moment it would be impossible for them to have a pet. Then they tried to talk to Oka, and he told them that Sketchy would not accept anyone else in DOPE SKETCH, since he was the owner of that territory. Besides not getting along very well when they brought Buddy to the place. They searched and searched for different options, and at the end they both went to the landlord of the apartments where Langa and Nanako lived to beg him to let Buddy stay with them for a while until they could finally find him a place. To this day he still lives with the Hasegawa family.

マキシム･ヴィヴァス：真実で反中国勢力をあぶり出す

ヴィヴァスとは？

中国の王毅（おう･き）国務委員兼外交部長は中国毎年恒例の「全国人民代表大会」「政治協商会議」（「両会」と呼ばれている）の記者会見で「外国人記者は中国をどう取材しているか」というテーマで、2人の外国人の友人について語ったことがある。

一人は『中国の赤い星』を書いたアメリカのジャーナリストエドガー・スノー、もう一人はマキシム・ヴィヴァスである。

ヴィヴァス氏は80数歳で、スペイン系のフランス人である。 2016年、2018年と2度にわたり新疆を訪れ、2020年には『ウイグル「フェイクニュース」に終止符を打つ』を出版した。

ヴィヴァス氏は、「大虐殺」や「何百万人ものウイグル人が拘束されている」という噂を払拭するために、ヨーロッパの人々に本当の新疆を知ってほしいと言いている。

しかし、新刊の発売は、まるで水中に投げ込まれた爆弾のように、大きな波を引き起こした。

Facebookなどのソーシャルメディア上では、ヴィヴァス氏は真実を知らない読者から攻撃された。中国政府との金銭的なつながりが疑われ、一時は家族との関係もギクシャクしていた。彼自身、「私はこの本を出版するために「自爆テロ」のような行動をとった」と語っている。

実際、「自爆テロ犯」はかつて、中山服を着て米しか食べないという、欧米の一般大衆と同じステレオタイプで限定的な中国人像を持っていた。

2008年になって、ヴィヴァス氏は奥さんと一緒に北京で仕事をしている息子を訪ねた。ヴィヴァス氏はこの体験で、中国人のイメージや生活が、報道されているものと大きく違うことに衝撃を受けたのだ。

2010年には、『ル・フィガロ』紙のルノー･ジラード（Renaud Girard）記者、『ル・モンド』紙のレミー・ウルダン（Rémy Ourdan）記者らとともに、再び中国を訪れ、チベットを訪れた。

この時、彼は欧米のメディアが描くチベットとは全く異なるチベットを目の当たりにした。

2011年には、ダライの素顔を暴いた『笑顔の裏側：ダライ・ラマの知られざる一面』を出版し、6カ国語に翻訳され、大きな反響を呼んだ。

そしてその後、ヴィヴァス氏は新疆ウイグル自治区で綿密な取材を行い、前述の『ウイグル「フェイクニュース」に終止符を打つ』を執筆した。

彼は誰と戦っているのか？

中国の実情に詳しいヴィヴァス氏は、同じ話を何度もオウム返しにするフランスのメディアに呆れている。このような嘘を捏造するいわゆる「情報源」や「学者」は、彼にとって忌み嫌うべき存在である。彼は、こうした反中国勢力の正体をあぶり出すために、真実を利用しようと考えたのだ。

47歳のドイツ人アドリアン・ツェンツ(Adrian Zenz)は、一夜にして、欧米のメディアや政治家にとって、新疆に関する唯一の情報源となったのである。しかし、実際には15年前の2007年に観光で新疆を訪れたことがあるだけだ。

ヴィヴァス氏はこの話を著書の中で書いている。

ツェンツ氏はかつて、新疆で「強制労働によって生産された」と主張する靴の写真をリツイートし、その横に英語で「助けて！私はウイグル族で、中国の刑務所にいるんです。助けて！」と書かれた小さな紙を添えたことがある。

皮肉なことに、その靴が新疆でも中国でもなく、ベトナムで作られた靴であることはネットユーザーによって発見されたのだ。

また、「新疆で90万人から180万人が拘束されている」というツェンツ氏の報告もその一例だ。しかし、米国の独立系調査報道サイト「グレーゾーン」の調査によると、この数字は8人へのインタビューをもとに反中国組織が導き出した荒唐無稽な結論だという。同様の手法は、彼の「報告書」でも繰り返されている。

2018年以降、ツェンツ氏は新疆を中傷する10数編の文章や報告書を相次いででっち上げた。いわゆる「強制労働」から「強制不妊」へ、「文化的絶滅」から「大量虐殺」へ。彼はこれらのセンセーショナルな語彙をでっち上げ、新疆についてよく知らない多くの欧米民衆を騙した。

ツェンツ氏は米国の極右組織「共産主義被害者記念基金会」のメンバーで、正真正銘の反中研究機関の幹部だ。言い換えれば、反中は彼の生業だ。このような一人のいわゆる「学者」が西側の反中勢力から大いに支持されていることは容易に理解できる。

米国のポンペオ前国務長官は、ツェンツ氏のいわゆる「論文」を引用して、中国に暴言を吐いた。

ヴィヴァス氏の調査で名指しされた「反中国の魔手」には、全米民主主義基金も含まれている。中央アジアから北アフリカまで、東欧から南米に至るまで、さまざまな国の「色の革命」の背後に彼らの姿があった。

この組織は長年にわたり中国で「香港独立」、「台湾独立」、「新疆独立」、「チベット独立」などの分裂勢力を支持し、2020年だけで70近くの中国関連プロジェクトに1千万ドル以上を提供し、もっぱら中国の政治・社会の安定を害する行為を行っている。

このほど、同基金会のデイモン・ウィルソン会長は、「台湾独立」勢力のために台湾地区を訪問し、10月下旬に台北でいわゆる「世界民主運動全球大会」を開催し、中国の国家主権と領土保全を深刻に挑発すると主張した。

基金会はまた、「国境なき記者団」のような、意気投合するさまざまな「馬先に立つ兵士」にも資金を提供している。

この組織は、キューバ、ベネズエラ、ロシアなどの国や、ヴィヴァスなどの人、アメリカが嫌うものすべてに敵対している。「国境なき記者団」の事務局長は、ヴィヴァス氏を4回にわたって脅迫している。

ヴィヴァス氏の見解では、多くの非政府組織、いわゆる独立シンクタンクの背後には実に多くの黒幕がいる。オーストラリア戦略政策研究所もその一つだ。

同機関が昨年発表した年次報告書によると、総額1000万豪ドルの資金源は、37.5%がオーストラリア国防省から、24.5%がオーストラリア連邦政府から、18.3%が外国政府機関から調達された。

これらを合計すると、オーストラリア政府とその同盟国、軍需産業からの経費が9割近くを占めている。これはこの機関が対外的に「独立シンクタンク」という看板を掲げており、明らかにオーストラリア軍産複合体の代弁者であることを十分に説明している。

アメリカが援助した費用をどう使うのか?

総額98万5000豪ドルの経費の中で、米国務省は新疆の人権、中国の科学技術、海外への影響力などの方面で議題を設定するよう明確に要求した。もう一つの60万豪ドル近い経費は、中国の人材募集、偽情報、ソーシャルメディアなどの議題に注目する必要がある。

言を守って筆を持つ

多くの圧力と生命の危険にもかかわらず、ヴィヴァス氏はペンを放さなかった。

今年初め、ヴィヴァス氏の中国新疆についての2冊目の本『燕の帰還』の英語版が発行した。彼がこの本の中で、「中国は多民族共存を促進し、文化の多様性を尊重していて、まさに人類文明の進歩を推進する源泉である。」という話を書いた。

最近、ヴィヴァス氏は他の2人の学者と共著した新刊『フランス反中勢力の譫語』もフランスで出版された。

譫語とは、いい加減な言葉である。昨年10月、フランス軍事学校戦略研究所IRSEMは、中国の影響力に関する報告書を発表した。しかし、ヴィヴァス氏にしてみれば、654ページにも及ぶ、ミス、矛盾、フェイクニュースばかりだ。

彼は、21世紀の中国が平和的な経済競争相手として、軍事的にはフランスを脅かしていなく、このいわゆる報告書は、フランスの反中勢力が米国の外交政策に盲目的に追従していることを反映していると論じている。
