12. what was the first fandom that you roleplayed within?

I’m so old that I originally roleplayed on fandom-based forums where there was usually a single board dedicated to roleplay between members, ha.  It was the sort of set-up where anyone could jump into any thread by posting the briefest of character descriptions (name, age, height, appearance) and then roleplaying using a script style of writing.  Truly a lifetime ago!  To actually answer the question, the first fandoms I dabbled in were The Lord of the Rings and Star Fox 64. I still remember the URLs, but the sites themselves are long gone.

23. what skills have you gained by roleplaying?

I’m a naturally creative and imaginative person – chronic daydreamers, put your hands up! – and roleplay allows me to channel that energy.  It has both boosted my vocabulary and improved my writing style exponentially.  (Credit goes to my incredibly talented partners for helping me grow, I really do try to give as good as I get).  There’s also something to be said about how roleplaying encourages a person to strip back their character layer by layer, to explore their motivations and understand what shapes their outlook, figure out what makes them tick – it may be fiction, but that still calls for critical thinking and empathy.  Honestly though, I feel like I’m constantly learning and improving across all fronts.  Especially plotting.  I’m still not strong when it comes to generating and guiding an overarching storyline, oop.

Hmm okay this was fun but I went on a limb since we haven't talked about music a lot! But since the clowns and circus thing and I thought it was sort of similar vibes to the Creature Feature stuff I found after seeing if you'd done any other posts about music, this was the first one that came to mind (Wonderland - Neoni). Probably not new to a lot of people but it's one my brother recommended to me recently. Will be curious to see if it's a vibe or not if it's a new one for ya! (No hard feelings if not because a guess. xP)

Considering Aaron is a barista, I was wondering how he would feel if his darling had a crippling caffeine addiction? potentially life threatening *ahem* (me). would he give them decaf without their knowledge?

🌻 mun caiden - aaron would feel conflicted if he found out you had a caffeine addiction. he's aware of the dangers of constantly having too much caffeine and he would be devastated if that happened to have a toll on your physical and mental health — so if course he'd be very worried and even take this into action.

he would be very vague about it, at first not talking about it since it is his job. but will eventually talk to you in person about your addiction, depending on how you'll respond. if you chosen to work on it, he'll be more than happy to see you slowly yet surely improve. he knows battling with any kind of addiction isn't easy.

or if you decide to brush it off, not really showing concern, he still try his best to help and avoid you dealing with those future issues in hand by of course giving you decaffeinated coffee. he wants to make sure there's some improvement on your well-being!

also i could imagine the panicked look on aaron's face everytime you enter inside the café 😭
