˚₊‧꒰ა ♡ ໒꒱ ‧₊˚ ALLUME is a six member generational girl group under Flowerbank Entertainment. They debuted in 2000 with a five-member line up. Their debut single GET UP became an instant hit, topping the South Korean charts and even breaking into the Japanese charts. Their successful debut would prove to be the blueprint for how the group would perform for years to come.

The group operates on a generation system, being one of the few K-pop groups to do the system properly and consistently. Every five years, the group will undergo a graduation of all the members and bring in new members, ushering in a new generation of Allume. The group is currently in its fifth generation.

Often compared to AKB for their extravagant stage outfits and graduation ceremonies, the group is performance-focused and has been home to some of the greatest performers in Flowerbank Entertainment. Most girls who graduate from Allume go on to become soloists or actresses, staying under Flowerbank. The group's generations all come together every five years to perform together, a tradition to usher in the new generation.

They are not without their scandals of course. They've been hit with plagiarism scandals in their early days, getting sued by SM Entertainment at one point for allegedly plagiarizing S.E.S's "Dreams Come True" in 2001. Though this dispute was settled outside of court, it still followed the first generation for the remainder of their career. Various members have found themselves in dating scandals and bullying scandals which is to be expected with a group of this size.

Allume, the first idol group under Flowerbank, made their debut in 2000 with a five-member lineup, introducing a unique concept in the Kpop scene. They implemented a practice of changing their lineup every five years, marking the emergence of a new Allume generation in a week-long ceremony. Over the years, the number of members varied, typically ranging from four to seven girls.

The current lineup belongs to the fourth generation of Allume, which is the second most popular generation. They started their journey in 2020 with seven members, making it the largest Allume lineup ever. The original members were Misun, Rubi, Daeun, Yebin, Yui, Jaehwa, and Fame. Misun left the group in early 2022 due to personal reasons.

Now, the fifth generation of Allume consists of six members, and they have consistently maintained their position at the top of the music charts.

Growing up in Senegal, Rubi knew she wanted to pursue music. Inspired by the country's diverse sounds and those of London— where she moved at 12 — and a love of K-pop that began in her teen years. Becoming a fan of Shinee, Girls Generation, and Sistar Rubi began to seek out auditions to become an idol herself at just seventeen. Originally being accepted into JYP Entertainment in 2012, she trained there for three years before leaving the company and continuing her training at Flowerbank Entertainment. During her training years, Rubi often wrote songs for other groups for some extra cash. She picked up various side jobs to pay for her own training as her parents cut contact with her after she left JYP due to them wanting her to come back to London and get a college education. Rubi hasn't spoken to her parents since then and has no desire to be in contact with them. After training for another three years, Rubi made her joyous debut in the fourth generation of Allume as their main rapper and lead vocalist.

Before her trainee days, Yebin was a classically trained ballerina, saying it was what made her fell in love with dance in the first place. She was supposed to become a professional before she was scouted by BigHit Entertainment and gave it up to be a full time trainee.

Yebin began her training under BigHit, participating in their two infamous survival shows: CHERRY LUV! and THE HONEY POT! both in which she ranked well in and was popular amongst viewers. Though she didn’t make it into the group that resulted from CHERRY LUV! she did rank fourth in THE HONEY POT! landing her a spot in the infamous girl group, HONEYBUNCH. Honeybunch was a mess from their debut in 2017. Plagued by mismanagement and bullying scandals, Yebin could see the ship was sinking and was one of the first to leave the group, terminating her contract along with Myoi Yui in 2019. Shortly after her departure, it was revealed she was rigged into the final lineup of Honeybunch but to being the cousin of Min Yoongi. However, this did little damage to her career due to her vanishing for the remainder of 2019. To the shock of many, Yebin and Yui were introduced as fourth-generation Allume members, hand in hand. Yebin is the group's leader, main vocal, lead dancer, and lead rapper.

Her performance in these shows placed her in the middle tier and left her somewhat inconsistent in the eyes of fans, often suffering from unfavorable editing on every survival program she participated in. Despite not making it into the final group formed after CHERRY LUV!, she managed to secure the seventh spot in THE HONEY POT!, earning her a place in the renowned girl group, HONEYBUNCH. Prior to her appearance on CHERRY LUV! Reflecting on her experiences, she admitted that coming so close to victory but ultimately falling short nearly led her to give up on her dream of becoming an idol. Honeybunch was a mess from their debut in 2017. Plagued by mismanagement and bullying scandals, Yui could see the ship was sinking and was one of the first to leave the group, terminating her contract along with Min Yebin in 2019. Many cite their departure, along with another member Genji, as the final nail in the coffin for HONEYBUNCH. Born to be a star, Jamie began her career at just 6 years old as a child actress in her homeland of New Zealand. She continued to act in various commercials, short films, and even having small roles in bigger films before going to train in Korea at the age of fourteen. She began training at the company “Duble Kick Company” now known as “MLD Entertainment” where she trained for 5 years before staring on the survival show “Finding Momoland” in which she made it to the final round but was eliminated. She shortly left the company afterward, fearing she would never debut, and was even in talks with her mother on coming back to New Zealand but was approached by ANGELICO Entertainment. She signed under the label and was put in SE4SONS as their Summer just two weeks later. There's still a lot of debate on what happened between Jamie Yeun and Angelico Entertainment but she was abruptly graduated from SE4SONS and sued by the label for "breaching her contract". Flowebank represented Jamie during this trial and freed her from the Angelico contract, signing her and securing her a spot in Allume's fourth generation. Daeun began her idol journey with her older brother, Johnny, at SM Entertainment in 2008. The pair would only train for summers, finishing their educations in America. Once she graduated high school, Daeun began training full-time in Korea but would not stay at SM much longer due to not making the Red Velvet lineup despite being promised a spot. She would get picked up by Angelico Entertainment and would debut just a few months later in the experimental girl group iStay. iStay was very successful due to their interesting lore, marketing, and music. Their storyline was the girls going through various phases of the future to find one another so they could defeat “The Machine” who was the faceless villain of their story. Though the girls were well liked, they were horrifically mismanaged and overlooked by their company due to their sister group, SE4SONS, booming success. iStay was often pushed to the side and ignored by their company, leaving their fans with long periods of inactivity. The group has spent more time inactive than they have active. Their last comeback was in mid-2019. Daeun silently left the group after their presumed final comeback, disappearing from the scene for a while before reappearing at the Allume fourth-generation introduction ceremony. She has not brought up iStay since joining Allume and often says Allume is the only group she's been a part of. Daeun is the face of the group, main vocalist, and center.

Any audition she could apply for, she did. At 12 years old she got accepted by YG Entertainment, causing a mass celebration by all her family and fanbase. She was one of the most anticipated YG rookies at the time, being featured in multiple YG projects including FUTURE 2NE1, YG's Future Strategy Office, and even performed on an episode of Stray Kids with YG Trainees. However, all of this resulted in nothing and Fame would go on to leave YG in 2018 after six years of training. She would publicly go on sign to Flowerbank Entertainment to continue her training. After two years of being one of the most anticipated rookies under the label, Fame would finally debut in the fourth generation of Allume. She is the group's main dancer, main rapper, and lead vocalist.
