mika is so enthusiastic, one would believe it’s his own birthday. and that excitement starts many days prior–even weeks ahead, mika is preparing for your big day, mulling over what he should gift you, what he should wear–oh, maybe something to match with you? but he doesn’t want to steal your glory–his thoughts are all over the place, delight stirring spirit.
he goes over so many options in his head, staying out late to look through the windows for something that you might like for your birthday–he attempts to get shu’s advice on the selection, but is promptly sent away–”gifts made with heart are the best endowment–and not from my heart. make them a gift, and pour passion from yours.”
new quest: to make you a gift with his own hands. he almost feels silly that shu had to lay it down for him again–but there’s no time for feeling dumb, when the red circle on his calender inches closer and closer–so mika arms himself with needle and thread and sinks his nose in wool, silk and velvet.
“mmm, say, what’s yer favorite color again..? like, suuuper specific one..”, mika timidly asks, phone tucked between his cheek and his shoulder. with his free hand, he brushes through the lines of fabric–smooth color slid between his fingers, but he wasn’t so sure if he caught the perfect one.
his face nearly caught fire when you ask why such weird question. “err–i dunno i just think ya told me once ‘n the name.. no, why i need it..? ahh, ‘s top secret! but ya gotta!”, he stumbles over words.
when you tell him, he finds that it’s right between his fingertips.
mika makes sure that everything is running perfectly for the celebration–when he’s so determined to make your birthday the best day ever, he makes a surprisingly good organizer. decorations, games, snacks and drinks. what he can make by hand is made by hand–he’s the only handicrafts member left, so he’ll do his best to keep it honorable (and he makes use of the resources provided by the school).
he’s so proud of it, he hopes that you’ll be able to enjoy it too–after the party, he even reserved you a place for you two, so you can cool off together–so enjoy yourself but leave some space for a drink, yes? mika poured his heart into making a day that you won’t be able to forget. his gift to you–a little handmade bunny in a fluffy shirt, and a matching bigger one made for you–he hopes will serve as a reminder for it.
bonus: if he actually sees you in the shirt, he’ll combust in butterflies and cotton.

Hmm ok. I just made a dnd character for a one-shot my friend is running where we're level 10 characters. I'm playing this character, Iseult or just 'Izzy', who was a familiar to a wizard. Said wizard knew he was likely about to die before a big fight that was coming and he made a deal with a hag to turn Izzy into a person (she's a hexblood) so she could essentially just live her own life after he was gone. She's spent the last decade trying to find someone worthy of inheriting his spellbook. She's a lore bard so she can't actually use it herself (she was a songbird beforehand). Every time she finds someone who might match her criteria of giving the book to she finds something wrong with them and ends up not letting them have it. It's definitely not cause it's her last connection to her dead best friend. Not at all.

alright so. hello. hi to my mutuals/followers who are also autistic like me
i have a question! and i’m actually going to add a poll at the bottom as well as invite anyone who wants to leave a reply or send something in my inbox to talk abt this to Please feel free to do so !!
i’ve discovered (as in have a name to put to it now, it’s something i’ve dealt with since essentially childhood) that i apparently struggle Horribly with auditory processing disorder, as well as just being hard of hearing in general, however i was wondering, has anyone who deals with both autism & auditory processing disorder had it progressively get worse over time?
because it seems like that’s the case for me.
it’s getting worse and worse, and it especially happens in public, to where i’ve actually completely missed the fact that another random person is trying to talk to me and my wife has to tell me they are. apparently in terms of this disorder it’s pretty common to only be able to process one singular person at a time with full focus, basically all of the entirety of my attention Has to be one person, and any other outside noise/person that attempts to talk to me will be drowned out into pure gibberish. but this also goes for if i’m very focused on a task, such as playing on my phone or something in the car while my wife drives, and she will be sitting directly next to me and speak to me and not a single word she says registers until she taps my shoulder or something to get my attention.
so my main question is if anyone who deals with auditory processing disorder & autism, if auditory processing disorder has seemed to get much worse over time. because that’s what it seems like is happening for me! thank you to anyone who gives feedback to this btw, i was legitimately freaking out over how bad this has gotten and found out that it’s especially common with autistic ppl.

It’s Finally Here…!!
After more than a year in the making; my biggest project yet is all wrapped up!
This year has been putting me through the absolute wringer up until now, but getting to hold this book and see folks getting their own copies in the mail and from their local shops has been easily one of the best times of not just this very wacky year, but probably my whole life 🥺😭💖
