ॐ नमो भगवते वासुदेवाय ।। Om Namo Bhagavate Vasudevaya।। The translation of this Vishnu mantra means, “I bow to the Lord who resides in the hearts of everyone”. This mantra helps to develop compassion because it reminds of the presence of godly being in every being. अध्याय 5 श्लोक 25 श्रीमद्भगवद्गीता

लभन्ते ब्रह्मनिर्वाणमृषयः क्षीणकल्मषाः

छिन्नद्वैधा यतात्मानः सर्वभूतहिते रताः

जो लोग संशय से उत्पन्न होने वाले द्वैत से परे हैं जिनके मन आत्म-साक्षात्कार में रत हैं जो समस्त जीवों के कल्याणकार्य करने में सदैव व्यस्त रहते हैं और जो समस्त पापों से रहित हैं वे ब्रह्मनिर्वाण (मुक्ति) को प्राप्त होते हैं

अध्याय 5 श्लोक 26

कामक्रोधविमुक्तानां यतीनां यतचेतसाम्

अभितो ब्रह्मनिर्वाणं वर्तते विदितात्मनाम्

जो क्रोध तथा समस्त भौतिक इच्छाओं से रहित हैं जो स्वरुपसिद्ध आत्मसंयमी हैं और संसिद्धि के लिए निरन्तर प्रयास करते हैं उनकी मुक्ति निकट भविष्य में सुनिश्चित है

Mantra for Mukti/ Moksha/ Liberation

Om Namo Bhagavate Vasudevaya (ॐ नमो भगवते वासुदेवाय) is known as a Mukti (Liberation) mantra. This is a spiritual mantra to attain freedom in Hinduism. Om Namo Bhagavate Vasudevaya mantra is considered to be the supreme mantra of Lord Vishnu or Lord Krishna, the supreme God of protection. Lord Vishnu is the Lord and Preserver of the Universe and a part of the Trinity of the Hindu concept of the Highest Universal energy, that penetrates the matter that exists in this visible world. This mantra is also used for one of Lord Vishnu’s avatars, Krishna: a very important Avatar of Lord Vishnu. In addition, this mantra can also be found in Vishnu Purana (Vishnu Purana is one of the Mahapuranas that speaks about the greatness of Lord Vishnu and His Avatars). It is the main mantra of the Vedic scripture Shrimad Bhagavad Gita. Therefore, this mantra is used to worship both Lord Vishnu and Lord Krishna. This mantra is declared to be the most powerful mantra for Lord Vishnu.

Vasudeva Krishna: Vasudeva Krishna is regarded as perhaps the greatest of the Avatars of Lord Vishnu, who takes upon himself the responsibility of safeguarding the mankind and descends on earth whenever the need arises. Krishna played so many roles during his lifetime on earth and taught love, mercy, knowledge, power, wisdom and the highest consciousness to the entire mankind. He remains as the central character of the stupendous epic Mahabharata.

Om Namo Bhagavate Vasudevaya Mantra is a salutation to the Lord Vishnu or Lord Krishna and can simply mean ‘Om, I bow down to Lord Vasudeva/Lord Vishnu or Lord Krishna.’

Effects of Om Namo Bhagavate Vasudevaya Mantra

Om Namo Bhagavate Vasudevaya Mantra is a sacred hymn of enormous potential. The effect of this mantra is such that this can provide spiritual guidance for one to attain the ultimate freedom from samsara, the eternal cycle of birth and death. If you read this daily, you will be getting blessings of Lord Vishnu or Lord Krishna. For example, if you touch the fire unknowingly, your finger will burn. Similarly, if you read this mantra even unknowingly, you will be getting blessings of Lord Vishnu or Lord Krishna. It is also said that sage Narada taught child Dhruva the chanting of Om Namo Bhagavate Vasudevaya Mantra , and by reciting this, the Dhruva is said to have obtained the very darshan and grace of Lord Vishnu Himself. It is also believed that chanting this mantra can neutralize sins committed unknowingly. However, it cannot do so when the sins have been committed deliberately. Through this mantra, the ego too dissolves through the ‘fire’ of chanting. After chanting this mantra, Lord Vishnu enters our mind and all good things happen in life.

Chanting Om Namo Bhagavate Vasudevaya Mantra keeps away all the negative energies from you. Chanting creates an invisible circle around you, which attracts all the positive things toward you and you will start receiving all the good news in your life. It will develop the strong faith and devotion to the Lord Vishnu or Lord Krishna. Further, chanting this mantra removes all spiritual obstacles in our life and takes care of us in the afterlife too. Chanting also purifies the subconscious mind and burns our merits and sins of this life and past lives, making it possible for us to attain liberation from the cycle of birth and death. Thus, it dissolves our ego and develops faith and devotion in us, which benefits everyone around us too.

Therefore, it is firmly believed that reciting this mantra with devotion, meditating on it with a focused mind, performing one’s duties with dedication will get for the devotees the boundless grace of Almighty Lord Vishnu or Lord Krishna and His immense blessings.

दिनांक - 20 अप्रैल 2024 दिन - शनिवार विक्रम संवत् - 2081 अयन - उत्तरायण ऋतु - वसंत मास - चैत्र पक्ष - शुक्ल तिथि - द्वादशी रात्रि 10:41 तक तत्पश्चात त्रयोदशी नक्षत्र - पूर्वफाल्गुनी दोपहर 02:14 तक तत्पश्चात उत्तरफाल्गुनी योग- ध्रुव रात्रि 02:48 अप्रैल 21 तक तत्पश्चात व्याघात राहु काल - सुबह 09:27 से सुबह 11:02 तक सूर्योदय - 06:17 सूर्यास्त - 06:57 दिशा शूल - पूर्व दिशा में ब्राह्ममुहूर्त - प्रातः 04:47 से 05:32 तक अभिजीत मुहूर्त - दोपहर 12:12 से दोपहर 01:03 तक निशिता मुहूर्त- रात्रि 00:14 अप्रैल 21 से रात्रि 01:00 अप्रैल 21 तक व्रत पर्व विवरण- वामन द्वादशी विशेष - द्वादशी को पूतिका (पोई) को खाने से पुत्र का नाश होता है। त्रयोदशी को बैंगन को खाने से पुत्र का नाश होता है। ग्रहबाधा दूर करने का उपाय शनि, राहू-केतु आदि ग्रहों के दोष-निवारण के लिए प्रत्येक मंगलवार या शनिवार को अपने हाथ से आटे की लोई गुड़सहित प्रेमपूर्वक किसी नंदी अथवा गाय को खिलायें । कैसी भी ग्रहबाधा हो, दूर हो जायेगी । शनिवार के दिन विशेष प्रयोग शनिवार के दिन पीपल के वृक्ष का दोनों हाथों से स्पर्श करते हुए 'ॐ नमः शिवाय' मंत्र का 108 बार जप करने से दुःख, कठिनाई एवं ग्रहदोषों का प्रभाव शांत हो जाता है । (ब्रह्म पुराण) हर शनिवार को पीपल की जड़ में जल चढ़ाने और दीपक जलाने से अनेक प्रकार के कष्टों का निवारण होता है । (पद्म पुराण) आर्थिक कष्ट निवारण हेतु एक लोटे में जल, दूध, गुड़ और काले तिल मिलाकर हर शनिवार को पीपल के मूल में चढ़ाने तथा ‘ॐ नमो भगवते वासुदेवाय' मंत्र जपते हुए पीपल की ७ बार परिक्रमा करने से आर्थिक कष्ट दूर होता है । अकाल मृत्यु व घर में बार बार मृत्यु होने पर जिसे मौत का भय होता है या घर में मौतें बार-बार होती हों, तो शनिवार को "ॐ नमः शिवाय" का जप करें और पीपल को दोनों हाथों से स्पर्श करें । खाली १०८ बार जप करें तो दीर्घायुष्य का धनी होगा । अकाल मृत्यु व एक्सिडेंट आदि नहीं होगा । ऐसा १० शनिवार या २५ शनिवार करें, नहीं तो कम से कम ७ शनिवार तो जरूर करें । विघ्न-बाधाओं व दुर्घटना से बचने का उपाय ॐ त्र्यम्बकं यजामहे सुगंधिं पुष्टिवर्धनम्। उर्वारुकमिव बन्धनान्मृत्योर्मुक्षीय मामृतात्।। रोज सुबह उठने पर अथवा घर से बाहर जाते समय एक बार इस मंत्र का जप कर लें तो विघ्न-बाधारहित, दुर्घटनारहित गाड़ी अपने रास्ते सफर करती रहेगी । और जीवन की शाम होने से पहले रोज उस त्र्यम्बक (परमात्मा) में थोड़ी देर शांत रहा करो ।

जो किसी से द्वेष नहीं करता लेकिन सभी जीवों का दयालु मित्र है जो अपने को स्वामी नहीं मानता और मिथ्या अहंकार से मुक्त है जो सुख-दुख में समभाव रहता है सहिष्णु है सदैव आत्मतुष्ट रहता है आत्मसंयमी है तथा जो निश्चय के साथ मुझमें मन तथा बुद्धि को स्थिर करके भक्ति में लगा रहता है ऐसा भक्त मुझे अत्यन्त प्रिय है

अध्याय 12 श्लोक 15

जिससे किसी को कष्ट नहीं पहुँचता तथा जो अन्य किसी के द्वारा विचलित नहीं किया जाता जो सुख-दुख में भय तथा चिन्ता में समभाव रहता है वह मुझे अत्यन्त प्रिय है

अध्याय 12 श्लोक 16

मेरा ऐसा भक्त जो सामान्य कार्य-कलापों पर आश्रित नहीं है जो शुद्ध है दक्ष है चिन्तारहि�� है समस्त कष्टों से रहित है और किसी फल के लिए प्रयत्नशील नहीं रहता मुझे अतिशय प्रिय है

अध्याय 12 श्लोक 17

जो न कभी हर्षित होता है न शोक करता है जो न पछताता है न इच्छा करता है तथा शुभ तथा अशुभ दोनों प्रकार की वस्तुओं का परित्याग कर देता है ऐसा भक्त मुझे अत्यन्त प्रिय है

अध्याय 12 श्लोक 18 - 19

जो मित्रों तथा शत्रुओं के लिए समान है जो मान तथा अपमान शीत तथा गर्मी सुख तथा दुख यश तथा अपयश में समभाव रखता है जो दूषित संगति से सदैव मुक्त रहता है जो सदैव मौन और किसी भी वस्तु से संतुष्ट रहता है जो किसी प्रकार के घर-बार की परवाह नहीं करता जो ज्ञान में दृढ़ है और जो भक्ति में संलग्न है ऐसा पुरुष मुझे अत्यन्त प्रिय है

अध्याय 12 श्लोक 20

जो इस भक्ति के अमर पथ का अनुसरण करते हैं और जो मुझे ही अपने चरम लक्ष्य बना कर श्रद्धासहित पूर्णरूपेण संलग्न रहते हैं वे भक्त मुझे अत्यधिक प्रिय हैं
