Lai Lihua was born as an only child on April 17, 2000 in Taipei, Taiwan to fashion designer Lai Yanjun and model Fan Xinyi. As a child, her father would always be gone and her mother would be home but ‘busy’ so that left her to her own devices. This is where she found her love for singing and acting like she was a singer on stage.

It came as a surprise to her parents when she demanded to be in vocal lessons, but not to the staff, who took care of her the most. Her parents quickly complied, as they always did and thought giving her whatever she wanted would make it all better. She tried getting into Chinese traditional dance, but she ended up twisting her ankle and that ended any efforts of hers to dance.

After becoming obsessed with Girls Generation and TWICE, she made sure to audition online for multiple companies. She only got into one— Delphi Entertainment. Two days later, she was on a plane to South Korea alone.

She has since starred in the background of multiple music videos for GIRL TALK, HAVOAX, and SUGAR CRUSH. She has featured on a song with XOXO’s Eunmi, LAW.

In 2024, it was announced she was one of the contestants for MNET’s upcoming female survival show, Fresh Produce.

Sato Yuuri was born on September 28, 2002 in Takamatsu, Japan to criminals Sato Michiya and Hiroka. She was fostered and later adopted by an American couple, Daisy and Logan Hughes and is one of six children. As she came from a family full of (albeit unknown) musicians, she showed interest in singing as early as five. She remained connected to her roots as she listened to J-pop and later K-pop as well.

After a video of her singing while playing Just Dance 2016 went viral, a Delphi Entertainment staff member saw and scouted her. She came to South Korea to audition properly, as well as auditioning at other companies in person and auditioning online at companies in Japan. She got accepted into multiple companies, and was going to choose Avex but was too nervous to go through with it. She ultimately chose Delphi Entertainment in the end.

In 2017, she was announced as a trainee in Delphi Entertainment’s pre-debut girl group project; GIRLISH, with nine other girls. She was well received by the public and was the third member to be revealed for GIRL TALK. She debuted in 2018 in the girl group GIRL TALK as their maknae, lead vocalist, and lead dancer.

Niya was born as Nittaya Lamwilai on September 21, 2002 in Nakhon Ratchasima, Thailand to teacher Chawarin ‘Atom’ Lamwilai and realtor agent Savika ‘Sav’ Thanapatpisal. She is the youngest of four daughters; Sissy, Priya, Beam, and herself. Her parents divorced when she was six, her mother having an affair with her co-worker and leaving the five for another family.

Her father would work hard as a single dad to be able to provide for the girls, leaving the girls with their oldest sister, who was nine when it started. Every single one of them, even twelve year old Niya picked up a job after school to help. Niya would go around her neighborhood, doing activities for the elders in her neighborhood that they could no longer do and they’d pay her. As she grew older, she got a job as a waitress. Alongside her job, she was able to get into her father’s school’s dance classes for free. She would soon join an underground dance team named ORiON.

Auditions for a Kpop company Delphi Entertainment come to Thailand, and a friend of hers begs her to come with for moral support. After seeing the response from other people, she thought she might as well audition, just for fun. She was accepted in 2020, starting her trainee process.

Day after day, Niya was constantly disappointed with Delphi Entertainment’s response to her debut. Soon. It eventually turned into three years, and Niya had to do something. Otherwise all of her time would’ve been worthless.

In 2024, it was announced she was one of the contestants for MNET’s upcoming female survival show, Fresh Produce.

Park Haeun was born on August 20, 2000 in Victoria, Canada to a simple businessman, Park Younghyun, and a bookstore owner, Kimberly Lee. When her mother died in 2005, Younghyun ‘Adam’ packed their little family up and moved to Toronto, Canada, where he later got remarried to a woman, Sarah Teller, and had two children with her.

In 2015, Holly went to South Korea for her student exchange program for a school year to learn more about her culture and mother from her maternal grandparents. There, she fell in love with K-pop and decided she wanted to become an idol, ending her studies. Understandably, her parents were upset and begged her to come home, but she refused and her grandparents helped her convince them.

Kim Minji was born in Seoul, South Korea on January 7, 1999 to the CEO of NWU, Kim Wonshik, and songwriter ‘Mazi’ Jung Yebin, also being the granddaughter of Shin Youngmi, an opera singer. It is speculated that her uncle’s girlfriend is the founder of Delphi Entertainment, Son Bomi. By the age of eight, she had already been in a few commercials and had multiple short scenes in Princess Hours.

In 2014, she was a trainee at SM Entertainment but left a year later. It is widely speculated that her vocal coach, Youngjae Kwon, had to do something with her departure from SM Entertainment from posts from Anonymous people. She joined Delphi Entertainment and was one of the most popular trainees, especially after being revealed as one of the girls for GIRLISH. It was inevitable for her to debut in GIRL TALK.

In 2017, she was announced as a trainee in Delphi Entertainment’s pre-debut girl group project; GIRLISH, with nine other girls. Ahn Soojin was born on November 7, 1998 to a chef, Ahn Jungmo, and a nurse, Kim Soeun in Seongnam, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea. She is the oldest of five daughters. In 2008, her mother and two youngest sisters were murdered by an unknown assailant that broke into their home in Gyeonggi-do while Soojin and her other two sisters helped her father close up at his restaurant.
