Detective Tsukauchi walked toward the dorms of UA just as another officer ran out, holding his mouth trying not to puke. The call had come in this morning, mass homicide in the 1A dorm. He had no information other than that, but judging by the way his subordinate came running out, he knew it would be gruesome.
Spotting Aizawa near the entrance to the dorm, Tsukauchi made his way over, noticing the glassy look in his eyes, “Can you tell me anything about what happened?”
Aizawa was whispering, “I just thought they wanted to celebrate Halloween. I didn't know… I didn’t know”
Tsukauchi put a hand on Azaiwa’s shoulder, “Eraser? Are you ok?”
He just shook his head before burying it into his hands, still whispering to himself.
Pulling the door open to the dorm, it seemed there was nothing out of the ordinary, aside from the obvious signs of a party, empty cups and beer bottles littered the floor. Plates and bowls from various snacks stacked up on the table. Tsukauchi walked around the common living area and turned towards the kitchen and his eyes widened. Blood was pooling on the ground, already starting to coagulate. The body would have been unrecognizable if it wasn’t for the Pro Heros unique skin color. ‘Mina Ashido’ One of the coroners had written on a small tag, placed on the body. Right beside her body the tag read ‘Kirishima Eijiro’ Both of them looked like they had been hacked with a butcher's knife. Flesh peeled away to reveal muscle and fat. Tsukauchi noted, it looked like the hero Pinky had been trying to protect Eijiro, thinking that it must have been a surprise attack.
He turned, spotting another body just behind the counter, another pro hero from the same class as the other 2 heroes. He recognized the body right away, not many heroes have more than 2 arms. Pro hero Tentacole, ‘Shoji Mezo’ is all the tag said.
Tsukauchi made his way back out of the dorm, spotting Aizawa, “What happened? Erasure, I need you to talk to me!” he grabbed his shoulders, forcing the hero to look at him.
Aizawas eyes were distant, “Halloween party. All my former students from that class. I didn’t go all the way in. I - I can’t go in”
An officer made his way over, “We need to get him to the precinct for questioning. Excuse me detective.”
Tsukauchi let go and stepped away from Aizawa and back towards the dorm. He took one last glance back, there was no way Aizawa murdered his former students? His quirk would have been the easiest.. No, there was no way.
Stepping back into the dorm, the detective turned towards the living space. Blood painted the walls in an almost beautiful display of carnage. Following the hall, there were more bodies, the tags reading “Hagakure” and “Uraraka”. Hagakure’s face was hauntingly visible with blood splashed across it, bringing her features to life. The two were positioned in such a way, it looked like they were trying to escape whatever was hunting them down last night. It seemed they were running from the elevator.
Tsukauchi decided to take the emergency stairwell to the second floor. As soon as he stepped beyond the door, the sight of the small “pop off” hero shocked him. It seemed his arms had been shielding his face, as they resembled ground meat. The rest of his small body was no better. Whoever, or whatever, had attacked him, seemed to hold no humanity.
Coming out of the stairwell, the second floor of the dorms was no better than the first. The doors to all the bedrooms were open, he assumed for the party, but now to collect evidence. The first few rooms were empty. A few cups and bottles were the only things that seemed to be out of place in the otherwise clean rooms. The last room, furthest away from the elevator, held more bodies. A flash of bright blonde hair was the only recognizable feature of the pro hero ‘Chargebolt’ crumpled to the floor, face slashed to the bone.
Beside him was the hero 'Cellophane’ the difference was that it seemed the tape hero had tried to fight back. The tape from his quirk had been shot out towards the windows, but it seemed to be wrapped around someone else. It was hard to determine who it was, the only thing the detective could see was blood seeping from the stab wounds embedded in the tape. Whoever did this, was smart. They seemed to use the hero’s quirk to their advantage, subduing the third person in the room to make it easier for themself. The tag on the wrapped body read “Bakugou Katsuki” and Tsukauchi gasped. He never expected to find a hero of such high caliber to be taken out in such a brutal way. Making notes in the small pad in his hands, he shook his head. Why? Was the only question in his mind.
Making his way out of the room and towards the stairwell for the third food, Tsukauchi could not help but wonder who did this. Aizawa was his first suspect, as much as he did not want to believe it, there were very few people who could take out a hero like Dynamight. Maybe one or two others who could get close enough, but if his suspicions were right, and really hoped they were not, he did not want to find the bodies of them.
The stairwell was, thankfully, empty of more bodies. The door to the third floor swung open, and Tsukauchi had to step around to avoid stepping into a pool of blood. Again, more heroes seemed to be hacked. The one thing Tsukauchi noticed, the heroes on the higher floors, seemed to have been fighting back more. There were scorch marks on the walls, which the detective could only assume came from the navel laser of the twinkling hero, slumped against the wall. His arms draped at his sides, face and neck slashed, his blood coating his chest.
Close to Aoyama, another hero was splayed out on the ground. Her long tongue was stretched out as if defending herself. The color faded to a sickening unnatural pale pink contrasting the dark red of the blood pooling around her face and neck. ‘Asui Tsuyu’ Tsukauchi didn’t even need to read the tag to know who the body was.
Down the hall, there was a larger body. There was no way to know who it was without looking at the tag, ‘Sato Rikido’ also known as ‘Sugarman’ His body was almost carved right through. His limbs were slashed to the bone, muscle and fat were spilling out between the cuts. Beside him, another large body, throat sliced clear open, but Tsukauchi recognized his beak-like face, ‘Koda Koji’ didn’t look like he had died from his injuries. He seemed to have choked on his own blood.
Detective Tsukauchi had never seen such a large amount of heroes taken out. Strong heroes seemed to have not stood a chance as much as the heroes known for surveillance. Whoever did this, seemed to hold a grudge against heroes. The sight was sickening.
The stairwell to the 4th floor was painted with blood. It seemed there was more blood on the floors and walls than could be humanly possible. Tsukauchi rounded the corner at the top of the stairs, the sight was horrifying. The creation hero, Momo Yaoyorozu, was on the ground. A sticky puddle of blood surrounded her. Her top seemed to have torn open, revealing her chest, a half completed weapon was jutting out from between her breasts. He grabbed the sheet, laying at her feet, and pulled it up over the head, giving her some dignity in death.
Inside the main area of the 4th floor, the scene mimicked the rest of the floors. 4 bodies were littered on the floor, various slashes were deemed the cause of death. Upon closer look, the body deemed to be ‘Tenya Iida’ was one of the worst bodies Tsukauchi had come across. It seemed his legs had been torn from their sockets, the skin stretched so far it had begun to split to show the torn muscle underneath.
The body of Ojiro was covering the body of Tokoyami, as if to protect him from whatever was attacking them. His tail was almost cut off, rendering it useless. Dark Shadow was nowhere to be found. Tsukauchi presumed it to be dead along with the wielder. The mangled body of Jiro was right outside the door to the elevator. She seemed to be trying to escape. Her arms were twisted, bones shattered.
Stepping around the bodies, the detective made his way to the last stairwell, to the last floor, hoping there would be no other dead heros he’d have to see.
The door at the top of the stairwell was open already, a dresser seemed to have blocked it before officers opened it, like someone had barricaded themselves inside. Tsukauchi realized there were two more members of class 1A that he hadn’t seen bodies for. Expecting them to be on this floor. Stepping into the room, the detective realized there was no one here. There were bloody footsteps leading towards a window, which must have been where the killer made their escape. At that moment, an officer arrived at the room, “Sir, this was found in this room. We thought we mentioned it to you when you arrived”
In his hand was a letter, dark red fingerprints lined the edges of the pages. It seemed to be written by the 2 heroes Tsukauchi had been looking for. Detailing how they planned the Halloween party, convincing Aizawa to let them use their former dorm. They had lured all their former classmates to the party with the intention of killing them all. They explained they were fleeing the country, abandoning the idea of heroes. Tsukauchi could do nothing but stand and stare out of the window the two had used for an escape. Their cell phones were smashed on the ground.
Somewhere, in an unknown country, Shouto and Izuku were smiling, knowing the Japanese police could not chase them wherever they decided to go.

Never Not Commenting Fic Rec:
If any fic strikes your fancy please consider reading it, kudos, and leaving a comment. With any fic, please mind the tags!
Halloween Crack: Kiss of the Cat Woman - lowkeyed1 - Willow (TV 2022) [Archive of Our Own]
Rated T / Summary: Kit and Jade are on their way to a Halloween party when their car breaks down...
This has humor, horror tropes, and a classic (perfect) ending.
a halo, a waiting room - myrebelliousphase - Willow (TV 2022) [Archive of Our Own]
Rated M / Summary: Jade opens her eyes, and for a second, they’re that familiar cognizant hazel. “Thank you,” she says gently as her pupils bleed inky black into her irises. Her eyelashes flutter, and when she speaks again, it’s with the same strain as before. “Ready?”
This one comes with CWs: Biting, bleeding, and blood drinking. Say less. These are my favorite things. This fic. THIS FIC. I can't express the feelings it rattles about in my chest. It's everything. I love it so much.
once more with feeling - Geek_and_Nina - Willow (TV 2022) [Archive of Our Own]
Rated T / Summary: kit and jade go on a stupid walk for their stupid mental health
Another SDT addition in Nina's wonderful universe. These two talk a walk through a cemetery, and while they talk about the accident, there is some humor and delightful banter between Kit/Jade in this one. The fic title for this one was peak too. You'll see when you read it.
Funhouse Crack: Mirror Maze - lowkeyed1 - Willow (TV 2022) [Archive of Our Own]
Rated T / Summary: Jade and Kit go on their first date. On Halloween. To the carnival
This one is very 'IT' vibes and I cackle each time I get to the end of these. A great balance of horror/comedy in these.

We get together once a week to watch horror movies, specifically movies one or both of us haven't seen before. I'm deciding which movie I'll show her here, but which movie that she's seen and I haven't should I ask her to watch next week?

Twenty questions for fic writers
thanks for the tag, @jaimebluesq
1. How many works do you have on AO3? 11 total! i've only been writing again since may. i'm afraid my fanfics from the dawn of (my) time are pretty much lost at this point but i can live with that, lol
2. What's your total AO3 word count? 108,407
3. What fandoms do you write for? just Willow (2022) so far, the show that has consumed me body and soul.
4. What are your top 5 fics by kudos?
Velvet Fist, Iron Glove - my kit/graydon romp that supposes they had to go ahead and get married at the beginning of the series, and also graydon is harboring a secret (no, not that one. He's a trans man). It's gradually expanding into a greater tir asleen polycule fic with some bits of plot still to come, but kit/graydon is definitely the central relationship. 27 kudos
Thrown Like a Star - my graydon/boorman fic, the first one i started with in may, when i looked on ao3 for some fics about them and didn't find a damn thing. they start hooking up on the shattered sea, and that changes how things play out in canon, and post-series as well. 24 kudos
Zombie Crack: Night of the Living Dental Dam - a silly halloween ficlet about kit/jade and some halloween roleplay. 16 kudos
Funhouse Crack: Mirror Maze - another silly halloween ficlet about kit/jade, having their first date at a carnival. 13 kudos
Shattered Sea Crack: It Came From Beneath the Mud - yet another halloween ficlet, about the gang telling campfire stories on the shattered sea. 13 kudos
5. Do you respond to comments? Why or why not? every single comment, pretty much. i love to talk with people about what they see in my stories, to hear about what stands out, what it makes them wonder. i get so many good ideas from that, too! and it means so much to me when people comment, of course i'm going to say something, even if they just say they liked it. the value of the encouragement cannot be measured!
6. What is a fic you wrote with the angstiest ending? hmmm i don't really do angsty endings but to be fair i don't really do a lot of endings so far, i'm just eternally WIP. some of my halloween ficlets end with everyone dying but they're not really very serious to begin with so i don't know if that qualifies as angst, hehe.
7. What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending? probably (Take You) Higher? my big WIPs are going to have happy endings but that's one that's actually finished. ends with two idiots falling in love and hopefully setting out for a brighter future than they were originally envisioning for themselves :)
8. Do you get hate on fics? not so far, but i'm writing pretty niche at this point.
9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind? *looks at my list of works* *looks back at the camera* oh. maybe a bit? m/m, f/m, f/f, f/m/f, some fluffy vanilla, some light kink and bdsm, some omegaverse. LOVE first times. i really like going into detail in general.
10. Do you write crossovers? What's the craziest one you've written? not so far, although i feel like willow would be a good crossover with xena. very similar feel to both shows, and i'm not just talking about the lesbians.
11. Have you ever had a fic stolen? i don't think so?
12. Have you ever had a fic translated? nope
13. Have you ever co-written a fic before? did some great round robins back in the day, but nothing recent.
14. What's your all-time favorite ship? it's gotta be graydon/boorman. nothing has eaten up as much of my brainspace as this. i just love them too much.
15. What's a wip you want to finish, but doubt you ever will? god. i do not know how i'm going to finish these things but i'm going to keep writing either way. they're getting finished or i'm going to be updating from the nursing home, bet.
16. What are your writing strengths? interior monologue & smut. i really love wallowing in feelings and sensations.
17. What are your writing weaknesses? planning. outlining. estimating the length of time or word count of any part of a story. petty jealousy of more popular writers, lol. wanting comments T_T
18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic? i would outsource that for sure.
19. First fandom you wrote for? xena! writing m/m slash in another one of the most notorious lesbian fandoms. my niche i guess, haha... ha.... hehe?
20. Favorite fic you've written? i'm going to sound so annoying when i say this maybe but i love them all. i write exactly what i want to see and i love to reread them. but thrown like a star is my favorite, because it's the one that got me writing again after a long hiatus, and it's the love story i was dying to see.
Tagging: @bisexualshakespeare @bifuriouswaterbender @rotaryshakes @woobifiedvillain @queen-of-meows @aurorawest @mareebird @cenobitic-anchorite @peterbenjaminparkour @storyspinner91 @blackdalek and anyone else who'd like to join in :D

Continuities of Addams' Family pt 1: A comprehensive list
I can't take it. Everyone keeps conflating them. So I'll make a list for people to see.
This episode is just pertaining to the entries themselves, maybe a description, and maybe some minor fun facts about each thing (in rough order of release):
New Yorker Comic (1932/33): Dates vary on the "first" iirc it started as who would evolve to become "Morticia" later. None of the chars have names, outside the hinted 3rd child the "Morticia" char is carrying but never births. "Morticia" considered naming the kid: Cain or Ananias.
The Addams Family TV (1964/65, S1/2): Where chars first got their names. Pugsley was originally going to be named "Pubert" but the TV Network rejected the name and so he became Pugsley instead, but not in time for the toys to be produced. His plushie has titled as "Irving Addams" instead.
The New Scooby-Doo Movies/Wednesday is Missing (1972): Stealth pilot for The Addams Family Animated TV (1973). 1964's Gomez (John Astin), Morticia, Lurch, Fester reprise their roles for this short.
The Addams Family Animated TV (1973): There are 3 comic book issue tie-ins to this, iirc they are just comic book versions of 3 episodes from the show. This is the first point (?) where Fester/Grandmama's relationship with Gomez/Morticia change from the 64 version. Only Lurch and Fester reprise their roles from the 64 TV show. A Young Jodie Foster voices Pugsley.
The Addams Family Fun-House (1973): An ABC pilot for a new TV show. Was never picked up. Lost media. Apparently VERY BAD. They were going to have Eddie from The Munsters (OG iirc?) to play Pugsley.
Halloween with the New Addams Family (1977): Sequel/Reunion TV Movie for the 1964 TV show, pretty much everyone reprises their role from the show.
The Addams Family (1991): First theatrical movie. Changes Wednesday's personality to more dark-goth vibes.
Addams Family Values (1993): Sequel to the 1991 movie. Reintroduces the 3rd baby from the comic, and brings back the name Pubert for the new child.
Addams Family Reunion (1998): Direct to video movie, no relation to the theater movies nor the 64 sitcom nor it's 77 tv movie sequel. Tim Curry is Gomez. It is actually a stealth pilot for a new 1998 live action remake show (only the girl who played Wednesday would reprise her role for the show).
The Addams Family: The Animated Series (1992/93, S1/2): A new animated TV show, made thanks to the success of the 1991 movie. John Astin returns to voice Gomez again. ;D Wednesday has the same dark look, but keeps her cheery attitude from early iterations.
The New Addams' Family TV (1998-99): A remake of the 64 live action TV Show. Has new episodes in the line up along with remakes. Maybe tied to Addams' Family Reunion movie because the Wednesday actor returns for this show. John Astin returns for a special role for an episode or two. :3c
The Addams Family Musical (2010): A Broadway musical Adaptation. It's a play a lot of schools like to put on, so there's a few variations in each play book: Pre-Broadway, Broadway/Off Broadway, High School ver (might be almost the same as Broadway ver minus a few edits), Elementary school-30 min ver, and Elementary/Middle School-60 min ver. "Clandango" used to be the opening song rather than "When you're an Addams"
The Addams Family (2019): First theatrical animated movie.
The Addams Family 2 (2021): Sequel to the 2019 movie.
Wednesday (2022): New TV Spinoff featuring Wednesday. And Tim Burton gets to be part of it! The 90s movie Wednesday (Christina Ricci) returns to play a char in this show.
Misc info.
A lot of entries have video game or book tie ins. I won't get into it here. But maybe in a future episode.
Cancelled/Important Fanon pieces (technically Funhouse wasn't picked up but the pilot was produced so it stays up top):
Illumination's Stop Motion/Tim Burton 2010 movie: Was apparently going to happen but got cancelled in 2013. (at least we got ol' Timmy boi for Wednesday :'D)
Adult Wednesday Addams (2013-2015): A youtube video series, featuring Wednesday grown up (characterization seems to take after the 90s ver, specifically 1991/93 movies). Was cancelled bc copyright. ;w;
