I stg I actually had this premise jotted down in my notes for Copia. Sodo works a lot better for it tho <333
He had always seen you with a sketchbook in hand, often scribbling down whatever was in front of you. He had seen Swiss post for you several times, in those cliché poses one would see in life study sketches. He thinks he’s seen Aether volunteer a few times, though he always seemed stiff whenever he stood in front of you. Rain’s anxious smell had made him dizzy the one and only time he actually posed for you, and Mountain had stayed still long enough as he lazed on the couch for you to do a quick sketch of him. Even the ghoulettes had giggled as you snapped a quick picture of them to use later.
In the beginning you had asked him a few times to be your model, and he had complied. For a price, of course. Just a little of your blood. It was like a treat. And though he would never admit it, he was flattered whenever you asked, melting against your hands whenever you would help him into the position you wanted for the sketch.
But lately, you hadn’t approached him. Sure, he still saw you here and there, your pencil scratching against the paper as you drew. You had even sat in during their practices a few times, and Papa had been so flustered when you asked him to strike a pose among the others. He wondered just what your sketchbook looked like and how everything was pieced together.
He got his wish when you had left it behind during mass. He knew it was yours by the personalized cover – an old gift from Terzo if he remembered correctly. He picks the little book up, flipping through the pages. He remembers these poses he struck for you. A smile tugs at his lips as he sees the sketch you did when he gave you Baphomet’s signature pose. You had inked it, adding little details in red. He thought it was cute.
As he continues through the pages, he decides to sit down on the pew. There’s no surprise when he sees multiple poses of Swiss and a few of Mountain speckled in here and there. There’s also Aether and he loves how you added on the ghoul’s rings and bracelets. He even sees Copia and Terzo on a couple pages.
But then he gets a little surprise. The next several pages are all of… him? Casually sitting at the tables during lunch, him tuning his guitar, even a really quick one of when he had flipped off Aether during practice. Had you… had you been sketching him all this time without him knowing?
“Oh! Hey, Sodo.” He picks his head up, staring at your face. “I see you found my sketchbook.”
“I didn’t know you drew me.” It comes tumbling from his lips as he gestures to the book. “Like… a lot, too. I thought you just had people pose for you?”
“Catching everyone in their uh… natural habitat makes for better sketches.”
“But… me?”
“Well, yeah.” You give him a smile. “I love drawing you. You’re also pretty, so like… bonus points.”
“I’m not special,” he huffs out. “I’m just a ghoul like the others.”
You walk over to him, taking the sketchbook from his hands and setting it aside. “Aether has a nose ring. You don’t.” Your fingers thread through his long hair and he finds himself leaning into your touch just that little bit. “None of the ghouls have long, soft hair like this.” Your hand moves to his cheek, cupping his face. “No one else has your facial structure or those soft eyes.” His face heats up as you kiss his forehead. “And no one else will ever be my favorite model.”
“I…” His tail flicks wildly behind him. He was actually your favorite? A smile appears on his face again. “And here I was, thinking that Swiss was your favorite.”
“He gives me good poses,” you tell him. “but no one is… natural like you are. You always keep me guessing and you always do something new. You’re different.”
“Now you’re just trying to make me blush.”
“And I can see that it’s working.”
“Shut up!” Still, you two are smiling at each other. His arm is laying across the back of the pew, his head dipping down to lay on top of it as he lets out a soft, thoughtful hum. “So, you think I’m pretty, huh?”
“Very.” He moves a little closer to you, a smile on his face.
“Well, maybe I could show you how pretty I am in other places.”

Hello,
I'm currently studding traditional witchcraft after trying to follow wicca for quite a long time. I had such a disconnect from the wiccan ways and its like breath of fresh air finding traditional craft. I identify with it deeply. I started my journey with "The Crooked Path" by Kelden and I'm currently trying to get more books on the subject (but money is tight ofc).
I saw your beautiful post about the witch father, and I was hoping to ask you a bit more about the witch father. I did the ritual in "The Crooked Path" and have gotten many signs that it worked and ofc I could tell while doing the ritual itself. I kind of picture the witch father as Baphomet and that's how the witch father has manifested in dreams and synchronicities I've noticed.
I've tried looking up more about the witch father but the internet just keeps putting me in circles. I've even looked at numerous theistic satanism resources for answers as well, but I'm not sure if that's the right place to look either. So, my question is, how do I keep and foster a good relationship and where can I find more information on him. "The Crooked Path" is an excellent book but its just an excerpt after all. Thank you ahead of time and sorry for the ramble.
Hello! And thank you for your question, no need to worry about rambling. I know how trying to find information can be dizzying and how much it can send you in circles. (Also I want to say sorry for taking a few days to get back to you- it’s been a *week* for me)
First, I do want to say that yes, the Witch Father has also manifested to me similarly to Baphomet but they are very much dissimilar and I don’t find a thread between the two. For more about Baphomet, you really have to dig into the works of Éliphas Lévi (which will definitely lead to a Golden Dawn rabbit hole.
As for theistic satanism resources, that would be the wrong place to look for information on the Witch Father. The paths are very very different in their approach.
To dig deeper into the Witch Father, I would suggest parsing through “Ancient Criminal Trials in Scotland” by Robert Pitcairn. It’s a compendium of transcriptions from trials and other legal documents. There you can search through different witch craft trials (you can read it free on Google books) and especially the transcript from the trial of Isobel Gowdie. But be warned, it’s not written in modern English and can be tricky to read in some parts.
Another book I’ll recommend is “The Witches’ Devil” by Roger Horne it’s pretty thorough and explores the Witch Father in his many guises.
Above all, this is an experiencial path. Look for Him in the untamed wilderness. Don’t stick to the well worn paths through the woods. Look for the oldest, most primal parts and find the Heart of the path here. In all of His stories, he is nature untamed and primal. That is where you can find him.
Keep working through “The Crooked Path.” It’s an amazing primer for the path and as you forge the connections they will strengthen and you’ll get a better understanding of who The Witch Father is. Hold the Sabbaths, practice your magic and your devotion. Research is great and I always recommend it, but the practicing is why you’re here. Do the magic, do the works. Fostering your Witch Flame is what will turn the relationship from embers into an inferno.

so ideally. my act 3 threads would be. wyll breaksvthe pact with his father at tav’s request after being unable to make the decision for himself, he then starts using his connections as the son of duke ravengard and also the cute kid the common people used to know, to find out where his father is located
he is no longer passive, tav will either take him to the places he wants to go, or he will go there himself
most nobles are all beholden to gortash’s mind control, or completely susceptible to his charms and idea of the steel watch. the ones that aren’t, gortash wants u to kill for him in his elaborate cat and mouse game with the player where he wants to form a proper partnership. all the while, ur also going into the lower city and helping oocal unions work against the crimes of the dead three and the guild, only for the guild to eventually side with you as theyre PROFESSIONAL criminals—and too much senseless death is bad for business.
orin keeps sending u bodies as love notes, n just fenerally appearing unhinged as both noble and merchant alike. trust no one.
orin of course kidnaps a party member. by default, i want to say its wyll as having the son of the frandduke is a better token for politics. u can realize hes a fake bc he is NOT INCREASINGLY UNHINGED N FRAZZLED IN THE SEARCH FOR HIS FATHER. before wyll is taken out, he left a map with the location of the iron throne
this then leads to u deciding between taking down the steel watch, saving the gondonians, etc, to “save” wyll, or still siding with gortash. either way u can save wyll, bc duh, but if u side with gortash, and DON’T go save ulder, he kills ulder, and wyll will try to kill him and be killed in the process.
you of course can also kill both orin AND gortash! (wyll heavily approves.)
by default, you save wyll, you then go save the gondonians and ulder, u disable the steel watch, u free florick from the prison, u free the wyrm, wyll has to make the difficult decision of whether he wants to rule baldur’s gate or be his own man,
and then u fight gortash, gortash becomes a political prisoner either under ulder or wyll, they go fight the netherbrain, the dead three are defeated, yippee
except NO, because there are still HUNDREDS of refugees outside baldur’s gate. ansur has been killed, thatsa big enough crime to start a new cult abt. the tiamut cultists want their stolen gold back from what remains of bhaals chosen. the guild has more power than ever. vanthampur hasnt been taken care of. most of the nobles believe in gortash n not the ravengards, the flaming fist is in shambles, the steel watch has turned to shit, the amnh can finally take away bg’s power from the council of the sword coast, there are TWO VACANT DUKE SEATS, elections to be had, there is literally NO SPACE for the refugees, there Awill Be a struggle of politics, wyll will gave to fend off assasination attempts as he tries to do The Right thing
theres also the githyanki, the shar thing, the vampire spawn, gale and the mystra of it all, karlach in avernus.
and they STILL HAVEN’T DONE ANYTHING TO STOP ZARIEL FROM BALDING THAT GATE!
wyll either has to go to avernus with karlach and (ur party) and try to find the sword of zariel becoming a badass hell pirate in the process, making deals with war bosses and shit, ending with the party deciding who the NEW leader of hell is
OR
wyll stays behind in bg3 and cleans up the absolute (teehee) mess left behind, while dreaming of avernus
also thus isnt “canon” to descent of avernus, but i want ulder to be like, kinda posessed by visions from baphomet that make him kind of ill, lol.

With his hand in this condition, Woljif wasn’t going to get much sleep anyway. The pain came in throbbing waves, with foaming peaks of agony when one of the delicate ligaments tried to thread itself back together. He’d hit up Daeran, Sosiel and Ember, and drank three potions, and the pain hit a plateau that would respond to nothing. Daeran had warned him, a hand would take time.
Besides, it was hard to sleep with the recurring image of Hepzamirah on her knees roaring, bulging black eyes rimmed with red and filled with hatred, blood spilling down her chin. And that wasn’t even the worst. Every time he closed his eyes there was a flash of a vast, evil goat’s head burned into his brain. Sheesh, some family. He realized with a bitter smile that old Gran could have given any one of them a run for their money.
He got to his feet and paced around Hepzamirah’s quarters, keeping an eye out for hidden stashes to kill time, and was just rationalizing waking someone up for more healing when he noticed Siavash was not in his bedroll.
On watch, Arueshalae directed him to the dark portal on the far side of the hall.
Siavash stood framed against it, head bowed. In the dusk of the mine he glowed softly. As Woljif approached he noticed little blue flowers springing from the cracks in the floor made by Baphomet’s hooves. Elysian magic flickered in the darkness around Siavash like green fireflies.
He felt a little pinch in his heart: another burst of mythic power had transformed him again, and now that he knew the source of that power he would be more than a little disturbed by what was happening to him. It was like the Moon of the Abyss, but worse. Thrust upon him whether he wanted it or not. Spiraling out of control.
Speaking of which… walking past the stale ash that had been the body of a demon lord and his Nephilim daughter, that little pinch in his heart grew into a cold bolt of fear. Talk about spiraling out of control.
Siavash tried to smile as he approached. “How’s that feeling?”
He opened his mouth but found he couldn’t make up his mind between milking it for more sympathy and making a show of being tough.
Instead, what came out was a third, unexpected thing. “Scary.”
Siavash sighed. “I know.”
“I mean, I oughtta be dead. All of us.”
“I know,” he said again.
“What in the nine hells chief? I mean, the Fleshmarket was touched in the head, but pickin’ fights with demon lords?”
“How was I supposed to know she was going to summon Baphomet?”
“And then when we’re all nose-deep in Pharasma’s tits you get cheeky with Nocticula?”
“I only did what I—”
“Far be it from me not to pocket somethin’ lyin’ around, but you didn’t need that crystal, did you?”
“That crystal is a piece of the puzzle of what Areelu Vorlesh did to me,” Siavash said quietly.
“Yeah, aright, sorry. I get it. But you didn’t have to—"
“Do you think it’s going to my head?” His eyes were wide. Woljif peered closer. They had changed from the old warm hazel to glinting colors like in the surface of diamond. He searched his face for a moment.
“No,” he said eventually. “Not like that. Not like making you different. Just like magnifying you. Don’t get me wrong, chief, I like you. It’s just that… it’s scary sometimes.”
His shoulders relaxed slightly. “I know.”
He rested his good hand on his shoulder. “We did it, y’know. We stopped Hepzamirah. We can go back and put this all behind us now.”
As he feared, Siavash just looked sad.
“Right, chief? We’re done.”
“No. I’m sorry, Woljif. I wish I were.”
Not that he was expecting anything else. He leaned his forehead against his shoulder. It was true, it wasn’t over for Siavash. He himself had laid the Moon of the Abyss to rest, had swallowed his fear and faced what was hunting him and beat it all by himself… well, all by himself with some help. That had ended well. But this, he feared, wasn’t likely to.
“I know,” he said quietly. “I’m with you.”
“Thank you, Woljif.” Siavash turned to wrap him in his arms very carefully, mindful of the hand in the sling and the mending ribs. “You’re the bravest person I know.”

I also embroidered a crow skull and a smileyface, it all was used to customize a bat webkinz plush.

EXPERIENCE / HOW LONG ( MONTHS / YEARS? ) : I have been writing for about 11 years now!
BEST EXPERIENCE : OH GOD SO ig it kinda sucks cause this is actually fairly recent BUT the best RP experience I ever had was my plot with @batoushoujo, @cxnfectioniism and @desparialuna . It’s the first group plot I have ever been involved in. Ever. And it’s just,,, been a lot of fun. Even if one of us is off for like 8 months, when we get back on we can pick off right where we left off and it’s really nice. Another good one is meeting @ohfiendangelical and @piinetrees cause they’re really great people and have a very interesting shared world / over arching plot with their muses. I’m really glad to have met everyone I mentioned here.
RP PET PEEVES / DEALBREAKERS : SEVERAL THINGS HONESTLY.
People who don’t read my rules is a big pet peeve of mine. And I can tell when someone either hasn’t read them or just does not give a fuck about them. In addition, when someone doesn’t read my bios. I know a lot of my muse bios aren’t complete, which is why I have the blurbs there, but when I DO have the full one up I can tell when people don’t read them. Again, either they don’t read them or they like to casually glance over a few very important details, leading me to the next one:
I get a lot of people who want romance with Damian, when he’s (gray)aromantic. There is a reason he is plotting only when it comes to ships and the reason is 99 times out of 100, he isn’t gonna like your muse back. He’s going to be a toxic, shitty, emotionally neglectful and kind of abusive boyfriend. Hell, he’s not even that great of a friend. Similarly, people also want to ship with Enoch. He’s not aromantic, but he’s the same in the toxicity and he’s not even attempting to improve himself like Damian is. I’ve got, like, 60 other muses to interact and ship with, so it confuses me when people want the worst ones that I’d like to be more selective with. ‘i can fix him’ does not work with my muses - it just enables them.
When i reject a plot idea and people take it as a challenge. ‘No’ does not mean ‘convince me’. ‘No’ means, ‘I’m not interested’, ‘the muses we’re using aren’t compatible for this’, or ‘this is against my rules’. No is a complete sentence and I shouldn’t have to explain over and over again why I said it.
Lack of consequences. Now, this is just my prefered way to run my blog, nothing wrong with not wanting realism in your writing... but I do want it in mine. If your muse provokes one of mine, gaslights them, tries to hit them, etc. depending on the muse... I’m sorry, but yours is probably going to get their ass beat if it’s someone like Damian or Serena. Now, if it’s someone like, say, Lucas or Suki, they’ll probably be the one who ends up beaten up but I digress. Consequences is what drives a plot. It’s what makes interactions interesting.
Trying to force interactions with incompatible muses. I’ve got 60, man, if one doesn’t work out, there is 59 more to pick from. Just let the interaction die and we can use a different combo.
Probably more but this is getting long
MUSE PREFERENCES FLUFF, ANGST OR SMUT : I find fluff kind of boring at times, and smut is not something I’m 100% comfortable with writing. I do like my angst, but too much can be draining. All in all, plot driven threads are my favorite.
PLOTS OR MEMES : A mix of both? I like to have an idea of where to go, but flexibility in how to get there. plus, memes are really fun to answer when I’m not in the mood for my drafts.
LONG OR SHORT REPLIES : It depends! Both? Neither?
BEST TIME TO WRITE : When I should be sleeping ghfvghjf either RIGHT after waking up or when I’m tired as fuck at like 2 in the morning. One time I pulled an all nighter and i got like 20 drafts done.
ARE YOU LIKE YOUR MUSE(S) : Edit: wow I forgot this section omg. It just depends on the muse. Thry all have something in common with me, but I try to make them as different as I can as well.

Baphomet is all set!
Made for Soundbbabe on Instagram!
Baphomet is made of minky. He lays at about 10 inches from the tips of the fingers to the tips of the legs. The face, design on the back of the head and the tiny ab definition is machine embroidered and appliqued.
He is too cute! Originally I planned on using Mochi minky for the plush, but unfortunately the color I picked out for the “red” turned out to be more of a deep red. :( I decided to just stick to regular minky since the colors were a little more accessible.
On the bright side I was able to get more colorblocking practice in! I love how clean a lot of the seams came out! And for the curious, the reason I avoid colorblocking faces is because I’ve experienced some changes in stretch with the minky on the past and honestly, I’m not too entirely willing to waste embroidery thread on prototypes. ^^;
Moving on! The patterning process was... interesting to say the least. I don’t recall making a humanoid shaped character as a laying beanie, so I had to do quite a few edits to not make Baphomet look like a generic animal pattern of mine! As soon as I pinned down the shape, I was good to go though! :)
I did have a major hiccup when making the horns. The plan was to sew down the black part of back of the head and horns separately-- the underside of the back of the head is the darker red color. It was all well until I realized the horns started too high on the head at the sides. The pattern fix was easy, but manipulating the horns to twist and turn took quite a while! Like I said a few days ago, the work was well worth it because they’re so cool looking!
Aside from the Baphomet was a nice breath of fresh air! He was finished quite quickly and was overall very fun to work on! ^u ^

11/04/2024: early morning vectoring drawing for this Thursday. I was looking at 'skull animals' via google image search to look for pictures / photos to draw off from. The goat skull which is this one, I looked at the supposedly religious meaning to it. It's very interesting, how the 'goat' is usually tied to satanic worshipping. A user thread answer shared this which I thought was interesting:
Anciently, sheep were often used as a metaphor for the faithful, obediently following the shepherd. Goats were their antithesis and thus represented idolaters and unbelievers. The goats head was incorporated into a representation of Baphomet, a French corruption of the name of the prophet Muhammad. Christians believed that Muslims worshiped Muhammad as a god, and thus were idolaters and by extension Satan worshippers.
The symbolism and the epithet was formally introduced into Europe during the pogrom against the Templars, who were accused on being Satan worshippers. Consequently, various Satanic images were conflated and the goats head became formalized as a symbol of Satan. - Andrew Piereder
