allrighty buckos here is the breakdown of how I measure stuff via zer0 that nobody asked for. This is purely for entertainment purposes so you may witness my insanity, there is probably an easier way to do this. Also warning: I'm german so I use x,y insead of x.y for decimals except for feet and inches stuff because I have to copy that shit from a calculator website because that shit don't make sense to me
Needlessly detailed and probably also overly complicated explanation below the cut.
Example of the day: fl4k
We know that zer0 is cannonically 0,0193 hectometers aka 193cm aka 1,93m aka 6′ 3.9843″ tall from their official bio so let's get a screeny of the bingus and start mathing
each one of these red lines is 1x zer0s head and yes I chopped some off the top because this is halfassed but it is what it is. I put the lines slighty ajar from eachother so you can see where they start and end and from this we can tell that zer0 is around 6,5 heads tall meaining that their head is ~30cm (193/6,5 = 29,69)
Now if we shuffle that over onto fl4k, at fitst glance it might look like they are the same height. also yes I made this image brighter a bit because sanctuary 3 do be kinda dark innit?
but we also need to keep in mind that they have the posture of a middleaged gremlin going through a midlife crisis so, if we want something more accurate we gotta make ourselves a nother ruler, in this case the distance between their chin and the top edge of their optic
and now we can use that measuring stick to scale an image where they actually stand up straight appropriately. I yoinked this one from the official cosplay guide and simply slaced it until the distance between their chin and their optic was matching the green line
and badda bing badda boom they are actually a bit more than 7 zer0-heads tall meaning that they are around 0,0210 ectometers aka 210cm aka 2,10m 6′ 10.67″
ANY WHY WAS I TRYING TO FIGURE ALL OF THIS SHIT OUT???
210 = 100%
2,1 = 1%
80/2,1 = 38,095 -> ~38,1
100/2,1 = 47,619 -> ~47,62
Conclusion: Nug, without antenna, is around 38% of Fl4ks full height and with antenna around 47%
also yes I checked if zer0s height changed in comparison to other characters we know like moxxi or ellie and in comparison to them by taking screenys of fl4k next to them and sclaing them all to match next to a screeny of fl4k and zer0 ant let me tell you, it has not, at least not worth mentioning as minor changes in height are always goin to happen when a character gets a new look and hairdo but I will not lead you through all that shit too because I might aswell start writing a book about zer0 as a measuring unit by that point

There's this nearly 4 hour movie I've been meaning to watch for a while and I was like "ah maybe ill watch it tonight hehe 🥰" and then I remember...quali is at 9 🫠

btw big shoutout to that woodworking class i took in my final semester of high school for allowing me to 1. not constantly sound like i'm talking entirely out of my ass and 2. hide some very niche secrets because of the like 2 full months of paperwork & osha training before i got to actually build anything
#dont click see all on the tags i accidentally went insane over woodworking Its Not Worth it#god that class was such a mess. it took so long bc we couldn't all go to the shop unless everybody passed the safety test#and. well i'm pretty sure only i and like 3 other kids actually wanted to be there . im still a bit angry about it yeah#i wanted to build a table for my mom for mother's day and didn't finish it til JUNE and then it fell APAAARRTTTTTTTT!!!!! but its FINE#I WAS GRADUATING LIKE A WEEK AFTER BUILDING THAT TABLE BUT ITS ///FINEEEEEE////#THE actual knowledge that i still retained from it is really funny tho tbh#the only thing you can call a guard on a bandsaw is the lil 2" radius circle printed around where the blade goes through the table#if you put your fingers inside of that circle they will be Swiftly Removed#i am more comfortable with that fucking thing than a hand drill#however drill presses are fine. kinda fun actually#walnut smells really good when it's being ripped but the dust gets fucking everywhere somehow even more than white oak#that was my last class of the day that semester and i would constantly go home with my black clothes having turned brown#and i'll say. most fulfilling class i've ever taken to be completely honest#ik i am not attending a trade school but WHYYYYYY DOESNT MY UNIVERSITY OFFER WOODWORKING AAAAGGG#WHAT IF I DROP OUT TO BECOME ONE OF THOSE YOUTUBER GUYS THAT MAKES TABLES THAT ALL LOOK THE SAME HUH. sorry im going crazay over john wick of all things but the card game scene when the synth music - i think its specifically blood code - is just stripped back to the low tones and slowed down in the background building suspense and then the fighting eventually breaks out and blood code starts full force and its just the action set to the beat of this sogn im throwing up
