one Warmup Gone Wrong later i finally have a full ref for the man, the myth, the legend, the minor annoyance, the thorn in the side of petty criminals and more successful heroes the world over, the one and only GOLDEN BOY (civilian name TBD. it's gotta be something super boring like, Jim or Something)

fans of nuwho who act like their favorite showrunner can never do wrong and one of the other showrunners is pure evil please remember that all three of them have had great moments and huge mistakes. yes even that one (whoever you don’t like) has made something good

I love that the scripts to Doctor Who, Torchwood (including the radio plays), The Sarah Jane Adventures, Class, Tales of the Tardis, the two Tenth Doctor animated serials, and the Thirteenth Doctor video game The Runaway are available for free on the BBC's website.
But it does suck that there are only two episode scripts from Series 1, one from Series 6, none from Series 7 and 8, missing five episodes from Series 9, missing five episodes from Series 10, no Christmas special scripts from the Capaldi era, and no scripts at all from the Classic Doctor Who era. Also missing is Torchwood: Miracle Day.

although i do have to admit its sort of a funny role switch seeing the most recent modern sonic game getting all this love and praise and the most recent classic sonic game getting a more mixed response. because its usually the other way around with people going on and on about how only the classic games are good

YOU READ THE EDAS WHEN YOU WERE TWELVE???
yeah. I had just gotten back into dr who after like. four years of not actually watching it though I did see a bit of amy's choice on repeat in 2010 (hated it because I didn't understand the throat alien thingies and thought they could maybe appear in me) and thought a town called mercy looked a bit shit when there was promotion for s7a. anyway it was post-april 2013 I'd come home and was watching abc2's repeats of all of new who leading up to the fiftieth every weeknight I was watching the tv movie every friday night on my ipod touch and I would've just gone to the library and gone through all their dr who books and that included. the edas. I was VERY confused. I also read other dr who books from the same era like one with four and one with six and frobisher. even worse is I don't remember what happens in any of them lmao

Does anyone know a solid watch guide to Classic Who? Like the different ways you can get hard copies (in the US), the various ways they've been collected, streaming sites, episode/serial order? A list of missing episodes and where they were supposed to fall in the series would be helpful. The Tardis Wiki has an episode list, marking which ones are lost, but it doesn't say how to watch.
When I hopped into Classic Who it was a nightmare, Netflix had like...a handful of random episodes for a few random doctors. I thought I watched most of One and Two, but apparently It was just a couple serials, the were just all that was available at the time.

Wow, I haven't gotten the urge to deliberately misconstrue the subject of a piece of fanart in a while.
Not with the intent to be malicious or anything like that, but to push my agenda of artificially inflating the relevance of something less popular, but much better written.

watching willy’s wonderland (finally!!!) and i am absolutely loving the 1930s—1950s B-movie horror vibes!!! like the wooden acting and horrid script + the cheap practical effects and prosthetics are all great, but oh my god,, the cinematography n editing are by far my favourite. like the nonsensical camera angles and the shot compositions and the jump cuts and the shot/reverse shots with nic cage vs the animatronics???????? brilliant i loved it so much
