Y/N had been part of the Big Mom pirates since she was 11 years old after being washed up on shore. Her unique black feathered wings was all Big Mom needed to be convinced that the child would be useful to her crew and she was taken in. Her most beloved son, Katakuri took the child under his 'wing' and she soon worked her way under his guidance until she was second in command of his crew.

It had been 20 years since that day.

Y/N had just reached the ship when she saw her Commander and smiled brightly, he was so amazing in her eyes and just the best person ever! She'd quickly go to his side, "...you look exceptionally sweet today, Katakuri-san", she said with a big smile.

He'd look down at her and roll his eyes, "...your sarcasm is going to be the death of me, Y/N....let's go, I haven't briefed you on our mission today".

Y/N would huff in response, "...that was me complimenting you! I wasn't even trying to be sarcastic for once!", she said as she followed him onto the ship.

"...that’s what you get for always being a smart ass then", he'd say with a teasingly tone as an older brother would do to a younger sibling.

"...hm...fine, where are you going today? Valley of the Gods to meet our ends?", she asked as she folded her arms across her chest.

He glared at her and tsked, "...see...always got to be a smart ass with a sarcastic mouth".

Y/N pouted and refused to talk anymore until he told her about the mission.

"...so in light of Big Mom's alliance with Kaido...his first in command is meeting us to give us weapons and what not...I've never had the pleasure of meeting him but...I don't have any high hopes either for it to be a pleasant encounter...he can fly like you...so maybe you both can fly around and become friends".

Y/N stomped her foot, "...ah see who's being sarcastic now!".

He couldn't help but chuckle a little before composing himself, "...I'd prefer you just follow my lead...don't need you to start a fight for nothing".

Y/N just pouted even more and turned away from him, "...you're so mean! I always end battles I start!", she said her flame on her back grew a little more with her increasing emotions.

"...before you set the ship on fire, do I need to throw you in the ocean?", he asked teasingly.

Y/N quickly stopped her flame and nodded negatively, "No! My wings will get all wet...you know what happens when I do...especially with salt water...".

"...good girl...", he said before going on his merienda, leaving the young woman to pout.

It wouldn't be long before they would arrive on the island and King's ship was spotted, however he was no where to be seen.

"...apparently he flew out all of a sudden...works out for us since we wouldn't have to encounter him", Katakuri said as the exchange of goods started.

Y/N looked around and nodded, "...I'm going to explore the island and then stretch my wings...don't wait for me, I'll fly back to the ship when I'm ready", she said as she began walking into the forested area.

"...be safe...", Katakuri murmured as he watched her before going back to the ship. He knew she could handle himself....but something at the back of his mind made him worry for her safety especially now that King was MIA.

The island wasn’t part of Big Mom’s territory so naturally they were nervous when they saw one of her pirates on their island but Y/N didn’t pose a threat and would just buy some watermelon before tapping at a little stores window, “…do you have any black hair dye any chance? It’s kind of an emergency “, she said with a smile as she took a lock of hair with a free hand and smiled weakly.

“…yes, my wife could apply it for you if you like…she’s a barber but she does get the occasional lady client too”, the shop owner said gently.

This was unexpected, Y/N never really encountered nice people outside of Big Mom’s territory so it was rather refreshing.

“…sure…I don’t think I’d fit inside…so maybe she could do it outside while I eat my watermelon”, Y/N said gently as the shop owner realized that she stood 4 meters tall!

Y/N sat on the grass, cross legged as the lady washed her hair and took off the remaining dye, only to reveal her white hair, “…your hair is so beautiful…why do you dye it?”, the lady asked as Y/N smiled weakly.

“…I never really thought it suited me…so I always dyed it even as a girl…and it matches my wings when it’s black so it’s looks pretty cool”, she said as she stuffed her face with more watermelon.

Little did she know, flying right above her was King who had seen her hair and heard the entire conversation.

Before the lady could even start applying the dye, a gush of wind suddenly dropped it all on the floor.

Y/N froze for a minute, that was not a normal gush of wind…she knew that all too well and would look up to make eye contact with King the Wildfire.

“…you asshole! What was that for!?”, she said as she stood up and glared at him, “…you could literally flap your wings anywhere but you had to do it when this nice lady was helping me out!”.

The fire on his back grew wilder and that silenced Y/N, why…was it similar to hers?

“…where did you come from, girl?”, he questioned as he landed with a loud thud and began closing the distance between himself and Y/N. The town’s people began hurrying off away as they knew this could end terribly.

Y/N gripped the hilt of her sword as she stepped backwards, “…that is no concern of yours…”, she said calmly, sensing the vibe he was giving was off. Immediately, she’d distance herself from him and fly off but he was hot on her heels and before she knew it, he grabbed onto her ankle and dragged her into the dense forest.

Both crashing into a fresh water stream, Y/N groaned as she got up and realized her sword was gone. Not too far from her stood King who seemingly recovered from the crash a lot faster than she did.

“….what the fuck is your problem!? You could have killed us both!”, she said angrily as she flapped her wings to make sure they were not hurt but they were soaked…there was no way she could fly now until they dried.

This time, King wasted no time and closed the distance between them, grabbing her by the throat and lifted her off her feet, “….where the fuck did you come from!? Answer me!”.

Y/N kicked at him and punched him as best as she could, eventually trying to pull at his fingers to release her neck.

He took every hit from her before his patience started to thin and his eyes narrowed, “TELL ME!?”, he roared.

“…r…red…line”, she finally said when his grip finally loosen.

Before he could even say or do anything further, a spear grazed the top off his arm and immediately he let go of Y/N who hit the ground with a loud thud as she gasped for air.

With a moment spared, mochi engulfed her body and retracted to its owner, Katakuri who held her close to him, “…relax, Y/N…I’m here now”, he whispered to her soothingly as she clung onto him with tears in her eyes.

He turned his attention back at King, “…you attacked my second in command…that is a threat in itself towards our emperors’ truce…”, he said calmly as King glared right back at him before turning away.

“…I have no issues with you, Katakuri…and I do not plan to”, he said calmly as he took off to the skies, looking over his shoulder at Y/N one last time before heading off to his ship.

Katakuri carried Y/N back to the ship and tended to her wounds, “…what happened?”, he asked quietly.

Y/N sighed softly, “…he attacked me first, he just saw me and started questioning me about where I came from…and things just escalated”.

“…and your hair…”, he said waiting for her to confirm what he already knew.

She blushed when she realized that it was now completely white, “…oh no! I hate it like this…”, she said before grabbing a pillow and covering it up as best she could.

“…so it’s like that naturally then…”, he said gently.

“…yeah…”, she said quietly as she didn’t want to make eye contact with him.

“…and you’re from Red Line?”, he asked.

She nodded before looking at him with hesitation written all over her face.

He simply nodded before patting her knee, “…I’ll get you some dye once we are home…but it does suit you a lot more though”.

She blushed a little, “…really? You think so?”, she asked as she took the pillow down and he just nodded a little.

“…get some rest, I’ll wake you up when we arrive”, he said gently as he headed to the door and closed it behind him.

She laid on the bed for a moment to process everything that had just happened before falling asleep.

Katakuri stood on the deck as he looked out at the ocean. What had happened was not good at all. He knew King was extremely dangerous and did not understand why he would attack Y/N and question her so brutally…everyone who knew about the Lunarians, also knew they were a dead race but here was Y/N.

So what was King’s problem?

He sighed softly, he needed to make sure Y/N was never near King again…no matter the cost.

((Let me know if you guys want a part 2!😆 I made her in her 30’s because King is 48 and I wanted them to have a closer age gap and 4 meters tall so that they are somewhat proportionate))

For all people getting hyped about AiB season 3, all I gotta say is that you shouldn't get your hopes up too much about it. Season 2 ended up just like the manga did, so a whole ass new season would mean completely new original non-cannon content created by Netflix and this usually ends up badly. Just because it's made in Japan =/= it'll be good. Take for example The Promised Neverland's anime season 2, that was 100% 'anime original' content created by the directors and studio who were in charge of producing the show, and it ended up horribly! There are already lots of essay commentaries on Youtube explaining why, so I won't go into detail about it, but all you should know is that it was bad, VERY bad. So Japan isn't the best either when it comes to creating original content based off of a manga.

It's one thing creating something from scratch, which is totally fine and spin-offs are great in their own way, but a whole other can of worms when you decide to add your own 'original take' on a pre-established cannon's story that doesn't need it, because in 90% of cases it doesn't end well. This Season 3 would be nothing more than a 'gratified' fanfiction, and we all know how it goes with fanfictions: it can either be good or an utter disastrous dumpsterfire from hell. Also, we should also keep in mind this is Netflix we're talking about, and they screw it big time when it comes to coming up with their original take on pre-existing content (a good example should be their version of Death Note that was soo bad, we've all collectively agreed that we will never talk about it!).

So yeah, don't get your hopes too high with this one because you might just end up being extremely disappointed by it. Be curious, that's good, but don't overhype yourself over something that has no guarantee that'll be good, because if it fails, you'll just end up hurting yourself. I'm just adding this because I've seen some people who are already jumping with joy over the moon about the news.

having thoughts about how i've been talking about my stelle muse lately

like. i keep being like "lol idk it's not that big of a deal i don't think about it too much" but i'm not really giving myself enough credit i think bc i do have a few vague theories about their background and stuff bouncing around in my head. i just don't have anything concrete, nor do i have any real desire to solidify any of those theories until we learn more information, since i know the information is coming sooner or later. i've had the experience of extrapolating a muse's entire story from some scraps only for everything i thought happened to get tossed out the window and i really don't want to go through that again if i can help it!!

i'd be open to subtly weaving aspects of those theories into threads, or maybe making some of them separate verses, but for my core portrayal? nah we're vibing until hoyo tells me more

Part 3

It had been a week or so since his encounter with Y/N and he could not get her off his mind. He wanted to know how she survived…where did she hide for all these years…and why didn’t he find her quicker. He spent most of free time trying to find out any information about any other survivors of his race until he couldn’t contain himself anymore and went to Kaido.

“…what’s on your mind, King?”, he asked as he watched his right hand man walk in without his mask which only meant he was troubled by something.

King took a seat not too far away and sighed softly, “…I’ve encountered Katakuri Charlotte’s second in command when we were doing the exchange…a woman”.

Kaido’s eyes widened before he chuckled loudly, “…well this is definitely something we should have a drink for! King is in love! That too with one of Lin Lin’s crew!”

King’s eyes widened as he blushed darkly, “That’s not what I meant, Kaido-san!”, he said in embarrassment.

“Is she the one you almost killed? You seriously have to learn how to be better with women”, Kaido laughed as he gave King some saki.

“Kaido-San, please! I didn’t mean to do that…she just wouldn’t answer me!”, he said looking frustrated, “…back to my point, she is a fellow lunarian…her physical appearance…she said she is from red line…there is no doubt in my mind”.

Kaido raised a brow at this as he sipped his drink, “…so it seems you aren’t alone in this world, little Alber…”, he said with a little smile, “…I would like to meet her but of course this will be something more strategic”.

King looked curious at this idea, “…what do you have in mind?”.

Kaido smirked, “…been a while since we had a banquet…let’s get that going and invite Lin Lin and her crew”.

King nodded and put his mask on before making his way out, "...don't try to kill her this time, you sadistic pervert!", Kaido chuckled.

Back on Whole cake island, Big Mom was informed of the invitation to Onigashima and ordered some of her children's crew to attend with of course Katakuri and Y/N being in attendance.

Katakuri frowned when he heard this but there was no way of backing out especially if it was an order. He would go to Y/N's home which wasn't far from his and knock on the door. She would answer after a little while and smile, "...well well, look what the donuts brought all the to my door...might rain today too with this special appearance".

He glared at her for a moment before rolling his eyes, "...gonna let me in or not?", he said as he folded his arms across his chest.

She grinned and let him in, "...I did get some donuts from the bakery...and just made some tea...want some?", she asked gently knowing he was sensitive about his mouth.

He nodded, "...I need to tell you about the event we need to attend first...and if you don't want to go...I can get you out of this somehow".

She looked a little confused as poured him tea before taking a seat, "...hold on...let me put my blindfold on before you rip off my head", she said as she put her blindfold, "...okay show me some fingers".

"You know I was just being serious literally 2 minutes ago...", he said as he adjusted her blindfold before holding up 9 fingers, "...okay go".

Y/N looked thoughtful, "...hm...2...no wait...7".

"...yeah you're wrong...anyway back to what I was saying...Big Mom was invited to Onigashima for some party and we need to attend..., Katakuri said as he began taking off his scarf and helping himself to some tea and donuts.

"...wait...that's Kaido's island, right? Okay I'm in! I've always wanted to meet him!", she said as she chewed her donut.

Katakuri looked at her for a moment, "...just a reminder his right hand man tried to kill you not too long ago...and Kaido is way stronger than him...".

"Oh...right...that...", she said sounding a little distant, "...I mean...I won't go near him....I just...I'll stay with you so I'll be safe...right?".

He didn't say anything for a moment, "...just make sure you keep that mouth shut and we won’t have any problems...".

"You can't see it right now, but I'm rolling my eyes at you", she said with a pout as she sipped her tea.

Arriving at Onigashima was no easy task but Y/N was already flying about while the others were still on their ships. It was so exciting to see it from the skies, especially with the waterfalls' breeze in the air, it felt way too good on the skin.

"...you seem to be enjoying yourself while the others are still making it up here", a familiar voice said from just behind her.

She froze a little before looking back to see King was flying right behind her, the beast pirates were on land not too far away. She immediately flew back a little, "...past tense...I was enjoying myself", she said as she gave him the stink eye.

"...good...", King said as he turned his attention to the ships making their way up before instructing his men to show them the way to the island.

Y/N flew down to Katakuri's side and stood behind him, "...you okay?", he asked gently as he looked at King who maintained eye contact with him.

"...yeah...I wanted to punch him though", she said softly as she turned to look down at the water.

"...the feeling is mutual", Katakuri murmured before turning his attention to the island before them.

Once they arrived on the island, Y/N followed Katakuri's lead and once Big Mom was with Kaido, he asked to meet her too.

Y/N hesitantly went into meet Kaido while he and Big Mom talked and dined with Katakuri right at her side.

The Yonko immediately focused his attention on the young woman, "...Lunarian women are truly a sight to behold...if only I were a few decades younger I'd make you my wife", he said with a chuckle as Y/N blushed awkwardly.

"...Kaido-sama...is so kind", she said looking down at her hands as she knew she did not want to fuck up by saying anything that would get her killed.

Kaido chucked as he looked over at King who not too far from his side, "...now if you try and hurt her again...I'll pluck you like a chicken".

King sighed softly in response, "...yes, Kaido-san".

Y/N headed out with Katakuri after that strange encounter, "...I feel like I need to bath in acid after that", she said under her breath.

"...you did good, he seemed to like his ego stroked.. .along with other things", Katakuri said with a little smirk.

"...oh stop, I don't need any images in my mind...I'm going to nap for bit...I'll see you at the party later on", she said before flapping her wings a little before heading off to their quarters.

At the party, things were getting pretty wild as one could imagine with a concert going on and then the actual dinner taking place.

Y/N attended the concert and thought Queen was pretty cool, he even gave her shout out! Of course, she was having the time of her life because this never really happens at Whole cake island.

When she did go out for some air, it was so much more quiet outside than she expected. She leaned out against the balcony frame and looked out at the moon when she heard someone behind her.

"...I'm starting to believe you like sneaking up on me...almost like a stalker", she said over her shoulder.

King looked at her in silence for a moment, "...I wanted..to apologize...", he said gently.

She frowned a little when he said that and turned to face him, "...I'm listening", she said as she crossed her arms over her chest.

"...I was surprised to encounter you that day...it was overwhelming...I never thought...I'd meet another again", he said gently.

Y/N tilted her head slightly as he said that, "...another? Wait...you're...take off your mask right now", she said as she moved to close to distance between them.

He hesitated as he looked down at her for several moments before leaning down so that she could take off his mask.

With gentle hands, she gently pulled it off and held it tight to her chest as she looked up at the man before her, "...oh...", she whispered in realization of how all the recent events fit together.

They looked at each other in silence...
