The rain poured down in heavy sheets, drenching everything in its path. Rafe and Y/N found themselves taking refuge beneath a massive oak tree, its thick branches providing some shelter from the relentless downpour.
Rafe's dark hair was slicked back from the rain, and he looked thoroughly displeased. "Shit," he muttered, looking up at the stormy sky, raindrops trickling down his face.
But Y/N, standing beside him, couldn't help but smile. She loved the rain, the way it washed everything clean and brought a certain magic to the world. She twirled around, her laughter ringing through the rainy air. "C'mon, I love rain," she said, her voice filled with joy.
She kept circling around Rafe, her arms outstretched, embracing the raindrops. Her smile was infectious. "Wanna dance, sir?" she asked, her eyes twinkling with mischief as she held out a hand.
Rafe looked at her, a hint of surprise in his eyes. "I don't do dancing," he said, his tone cold.
Y/N refused to be deterred. She leaned in closer, her voice soft and persuasive. "Don't be a party pooper. C'mon, have some fun with me. No one is watching."
Rafe hesitated for a moment, then with a sigh, he took her hand. Y/N pulled him into the open, where the rain continued to pour down on them. The two of them began to move together, their laughter mingling with the sound of the rain.
They danced under the stormy skies, their feet splashing in puddles as they twirled and spun. Rafe's initial reluctance melted away as he found himself caught up in Y/N's infectious enthusiasm.
The raindrops glistened in Y/N's hair, and she looked up at Rafe with a radiant smile. "See? Rain isn't so bad," she said.
Rafe couldn't help but smile back. As the rain continued to fall, they danced together, their laughter and the rhythm of the rain creating a unique and beautiful moment that neither of them would ever forget.
The rain continued to pour down, drenching Rafe and Y/N as they danced together under the heavy downpour. As the droplets glistened on their skin, Rafe's initial reluctance waned, and he found himself drawn to Y/N's infectious enthusiasm.
Their movements became more intimate, and before long, they found themselves standing face to face. Y/N's smile was radiant, and she leaned in closer, her eyes locked onto Rafe's. "Kiss me," she whispered.
Rafe hesitated for a moment, looking around at the rain. "We will get sick," he warned.
Y/N brushed her lips against his, the taste of rain on her lips. "That's a worry for later," she replied, her voice soft and filled with longing, "enjoy your time now."
Their lips met in a passionate kiss, raindrops sliding down their faces as they lost themselves in the moment.
Later, soaked to the bone, they made their way to Rafe's house. Rafe opened the door, and as Y/N stepped inside, she was met by Sarah, Rafe's sister.
"Looks like you had fun," Sarah remarked, a playful grin on her face.
"Yeah, you should have—" Y/N started to say, but was interrupted by a sudden sneeze.
Sarah chuckled. "Yeah, I'm glad I didn't, but thank you for the offer," she replied before heading upstairs to her room.
Rafe looked at Y/N. "We should get changed," he suggested.
Y/N nodded, shivering from the cold. "Yeah, how about hot chocolate and a movie after?" She looked up at Rafe, her smile never fading.
Rafe's heart raced as he gazed at her.
"Sounds good, Princess," he said, a warmth in his eyes.
Rafe and Y/N hurriedly changed into dry clothes, their laughter echoing through the house. Y/N borrowed one of Rafe's oversized hoodies, and Rafe couldn't help but notice how adorable she looked in it. They met in the kitchen, where Rafe had prepared mugs of steaming hot chocolate.
Y/N took a sip and let out a contented sigh. "This is perfect," she said, her eyes twinkling. "And now, for the movie."
They settled on the couch, wrapped in blankets, the rain outside still drumming on the windows. Rafe's heart continued to race, not just from the cold and the rain, but from the electrifying connection he felt with Y/N.
As the movie played, their fingers entwined, and they shared stolen glances. Rafe couldn't help but feel a warmth in his chest, a sense of happiness he hadn't experienced in a long time.
When the movie ended, Rafe turned to Y/N, his eyes filled with affection. "I'm glad you convinced me to dance in the rain," he said, his voice soft.
Y/N smiled and leaned in to kiss him gently. "Me too," she whispered.
Their lips met, sealing the unspoken promise of more adventures, more rainy dances, and more shared moments in the future. Rafe had been drawn into Y/N's world of spontaneity, and he couldn't be happier.
As the rain continued to fall outside, they snuggled closer on the couch, content in each other's company, knowing that the best was yet to come.

𝗔𝗙𝗧𝗘𝗥 the intense battle, Zoro and I exchanged triumphant glances. We were both exhausted, but the victory was sweet. Yuki turned to Zoro with a cheerful smile then turned to Zoro and suggested, "Zoro, how about we celebrate this victory with a drink?" Her fiery swords were sheathed, and she exuded an air of relaxed contentment.
Zoro, with his usual stoic demeanour, didn't show much emotion. He simply nodded and said, "Fine. Whatever."
is he getting soft? your plan is working yuki
As we walked away from the battlefield, the sky began to lighten, signalling the approaching dawn. The night was fading away, and the new day was dawning upon us. But that didn't deter us. We were warriors who had triumphed against all odds, and we were determined to enjoy a well-deserved celebration, even if it meant starting it in the early morning light.
And by we, I meant only me. Zoro's cold and distant attitude didn't waver. He seemed more focused on the path ahead than the idea of celebrating. But I was determined to enjoy our victory, even if Zoro remained distant and aloof.
They strolled through the bustling streets of the port town, eventually finding themselves at a cozy bar filled with the clinking of glasses and lively conversations.
let's just act like It's noon and not morning
Zoro led Yuki to the bar counter where they could enjoy their drinks and unwind.
The bartender looks at Yuki and asks, "What can I get you today?" to which Yuki responds, "A drink for me and my friend, please." to which Zoro responds
"We're not friends."
turned soft my ass
Yuki, undeterred by Zoro's response, places the drink in front of him with a forced smile, though it's clear that Zoro's cold demeanour has affected her. She quietly sips her own drink, and an awkward silence lingers between them as they both maintain their distance.
Zoro continues to sip his drink in silence, seemingly indifferent to Yuki's presence. The atmosphere at the bar becomes tense, and it becomes apparent that there's a rift between them that won't be easily resolved.
As they sat in silence, a soft giggle caught their attention. Turning toward the source of the laughter, they saw a little girl, no older than ten, standing nearby. She wore a bright, green dress and had a low ponytail cascade of curly hair framing her face.
The girl's eyes sparkled with mischief as she looked at Zoro and Yuki, seemingly finding their solemn expressions amusing. She giggled again, her laughter as carefree as the breeze on a summer day.
Yuki couldn't help but smile at the innocence and joy radiating from the child. Zoro, on the other hand, appeared more confused than amused, his brow furrowing slightly as he observed the little girl.
The little girl, her giggles still echoing through the bar, suddenly turned and skipped away. Before she disappeared into the crowd, she glanced back at Zoro and Yuki one more time. With a mischievous grin.
Zoro's gaze followed the girl for a moment, his confusion evident in his furrowed brow and bemused expression.
The little girl approached their table, holding a plate of two rice cakes drizzled with chocolate sauce
Zoro glanced down, his scarred face revealing no emotion as he saw the child pointing at the plate of rice balls beside him. Without uttering a word, he raised an inquisitive eyebrow.
The little girl, undeterred by his icy demeanour, offered a warm smile. "Rice balls. For you," she said, gently pushing the plate closer to him.
Zoro's interest was piqued, and he asked in his usual cold tone, "You made them yourself?"
The child nodded enthusiastically, her eyes sparkling with innocence. "Mhmm."
"What's the brown stuff?" Zoro inquired, gesturing towards the chocolate drizzle on the rice balls.
With a giggle, the little girl replied, "Chocolate. Makes everything taste better," her tiny fingers tracing the swirls of chocolate.
Before Zoro could respond, the little girl was abruptly summoned by a woman at the bar counter.
"Rika"
However, as the little girl turned away from their table, fate had a different plan in store. She accidentally crashed into a tall blonde man who happened to be passing by. The collision sent her plate of rice balls tumbling to the ground, the chocolatey treats scattering and making a mess.
The blonde man's face contorted with irritation as he looked down at the fallen rice balls. He seemed to be in no mood for accidents, and his anger was palpable. "You stupid, stupid girl!" he snapped at the girl, his voice harsh and unrelenting.
Yuki was ready to intervene if necessary, her fiery powers ready to defend the innocent. Zoro, his patience shorter than usual, clenched his fists but remained seated, waiting to see how the situation would unfold.
The blonde man's irritation escalated as he stared down at the fallen rice balls, his face twisted with anger. Without a second thought, he viciously squished the rice balls under his boot, grinding them into the floor.
"Why don't you watch where you are going?"
Rika's eyes welled up with tears as she watched her carefully crafted rice balls turn into a mess. She trembled in fear, unable to comprehend the stranger's harsh reaction.
The woman behind the bar, who had called Rika earlier, noticed the commotion and stepped in. She had a stern expression as she addressed the frightened little girl.
"Rika, apologize to our guest."
Rika's voice quivered as she stuttered out an apology, "I-I'm s-sorry."
The blonde man's anger had not subsided; instead, he decided to mock her in her moment of vulnerability. "I-I'm s-sorry." He sneered and leaned closer, his voice dripping with contempt.
"Next time, I won't be nice."
Rika's trembling intensified as she heard the man's cruel words. She nodded, not daring to look at him, overwhelmed by the humiliation she felt. Rika's humiliation still lingered, her teary eyes cast downward in embarrassment. She felt small and vulnerable after the man's mocking words. But suddenly, an unexpected turn of events shifted the atmosphere in the bar.
Zoro, who had been observing the entire situation, calmly stepped forward and addressed the blond man. His voice was stern and unwavering as he spoke, "You dropped my food."
The blonde man's expression quickly shifted from arrogance to surprise. He looked down and noticed the rice ball smeared on the floor beneath his boot.
Without hesitation, Zoro bent down, picked up the flattened rice ball, and took a bite. His face remained impassive, but after a moment, he unexpectedly muttered, "Mmm. Delicious."
Rika smiled
The bar fell into an awkward silence as everyone watched in astonishment. Zoro's actions had not only salvaged the situation for Rika but also left a lasting impression on the patrons. His unconventional response had successfully defused the tension, leaving behind a sense of both awe and confusion. As Zoro took a bite of the rice ball from the floor, the bar's patrons couldn't help but exchange bewildered glances. It was an unexpected twist in an otherwise tense situation. But what truly stood out was the faint, barely noticeable smile on Yuki's face as she watched Zoro's actions.
Zoro, having taken a bite of the rice ball from the floor, stood up with a determined look on his face. He reached for the plate, grabbing it with one hand and plucking a single rice ball from it. With calculated confidence, he approached the blonde man.
Zoro firmly extended the rice ball toward the man. And said, "Now you eat one. And apologize to the girl."
The blonde man, however, responded with a mocking laugh and took a menacing step closer to Zoro. He puffed out his chest and sneered, "Do you know who I am?"
Zoro looked at the blonde guy up and down his expression remained unfazed, and he retorted in his signature brusque manner.
"A shithead Marine with a bad haircut."
The bar's atmosphere grew tense as the insult hung in the air. The blonde man's face flushed with anger, and without further warning, he reached for the hilt of the sword strapped to his side.
The patrons gasped in alarm, sensing that the situation was about to escalate into violence. Yuki, who had been watching from the sidelines, tightened her grip on her own weapon, ready to intervene if necessary. The clash between the two formidable swordsmen was imminent, and the bar's occupants held their breath, bracing for what would come next.
"I wouldn't do that," Zoro warned the blond man as he reached for his sword.
The blond man, seemingly undeterred, taunted Zoro with a sly grin.
"Oh, come on, tough guy. Three swords?" He emphasized his point by drawing his own blade with swift precision, the metal gleaming menacingly in the dimly lit bar.
"I only need one."
Zoro's expression remained resolute as he replied, "Okay, but it's gonna hurt."
With lightning speed, the blonde man lunged forward, his blade slicing through the air with deadly intent. However, Zoro was equally swift, drawing one of his three swords in a flash. With a resounding clash of steel, Zoro blocked the attack, the force of the impact sending shockwaves through the room.
The patrons gasped in astonishment at the sheer skill and strength displayed by the two formidable swordsmen. The confrontation had escalated into a high-stakes duel, and the outcome hung in the balance as the swords clashed and sparks flew. Yuki, prepared for any eventuality, stood ready to assist her so-called "friend" if the need arose. As the intense clash between Zoro and the blonde man continued, Yuki recognized the escalating danger. She knew it was crucial to protect Rika from the unfolding conflict.
With agility and precision, Yuki swiftly moved through the bar's chaotic atmosphere, making her way to Rika. She gently took the young girl's hand, guiding her away from the escalating confrontation between the two swordsmen.
"Come with me, Rika," Yuki said softly, ensuring that Rika was safe from the brewing violence. She led Rika towards the woman at the bar counter who had called for her earlier, seeking a safe haven amidst the tense situation.
Rika, still trembling from the earlier confrontation, clung to Yuki's hand, finding solace in her protective presence. The bar patrons watched the unfolding duel with bated breath, while Yuki focused on ensuring the young girl's well-being and safety. As the confrontation reached its peak, with the blonde man now on the floor after his failed attack on Zoro, the other marines in the bar couldn't stand idly by. They decided to intervene, rallying together to overwhelm the swordsman.
However, Zoro, ever the formidable warrior, remained cool under pressure. With lightning-fast reflexes, he finished his drink and hurled the empty glass at one of the marines, catching him off guard and sending him crashing into a table.
Meanwhile, the blonde man and the other marines began a relentless assault on Zoro, throwing punches and objects in his direction. Zoro, using his remarkable skill and strength, expertly blocked each attack, his three swords moving in a whirlwind of precision and power.
The bar patrons watched in awe as Zoro defended himself effortlessly against multiple opponents. His movements were a blur as he parried and countered, his indomitable spirit refusing to yield.
Gradually, the Marines realized they were outmatched by the swordsman's incredible skill. One by one, they faltered, their attacks becoming feeble and disorganized. Zoro seized the opportunity, disarming the blonde man with a swift strike and bringing him to the ground.
With the bar now in chaos and the marines defeated, Zoro stood triumphant, his breathing steady despite the intense battle. The onlookers could hardly believe what they had witnessed, and a sense of respect and awe washed over the room.
Yuki, who had kept Rika safe throughout the commotion, couldn't help but smile with pride as Zoro's strength and determination had won the day, proving that even in the face of adversity, Zoro was a force to be reckoned with. With the chaos in the bar subdued and the blonde man defeated, Zoro took a decisive step forward. He grabbed the man by the collar and swiftly lifted him onto the bar counter, his voice low and threatening as he leaned in close.
"You shouldn't draw your blade unless you're prepared to use it," Zoro warned his words carrying a weight that sent a shiver down the blond man's spine.
Terrified and realizing the gravity of the situation, the blonde man stammered, "Don't kill me, please. My father will give you anything you want."
Zoro, ever the enigmatic warrior, raised an eyebrow at the mention of the man's father.
"Who's your father?" he demanded, curiosity piqued.
The blonde man gulped nervously before responding, "Captain Morgan. He's in charge of the Marine base."
A sly smirk crept across Zoro's face as he replied, "Then he owns me money."
With that, Zoro took the defeated man by the collar, leading him away from the bar with three marines following closely behind. The bar patrons watched in stunned silence as the swordsman left, the outcome of the confrontation leaving an indelible mark on their memory.
Yuki, with Rika safely by her side, watched as Zoro departed with his newfound captives. Yuki turned her attention to Rika, always attentive to the young girl's feelings, stepped closer and gently wiped away her tears with a soft touch. Her voice held a touch of reassurance,
"You're okay now, " Yuki whispered, her voice warm and comforting. " Everything's going to be alright now. You were really brave today and don't let anyone treat you like that."
A small smile, grateful smile began to form on Rika's face. She clung to Yuki's hand, finding solace in her kind words and pressuring presence. Her trust in strangers was somewhat restored.
"Also, could you please do one more of your rice balls? I have time to enjoy them better now."
Zoro you better not get yourself in danger
‧₊˚✩ ₊˚⊹
As Yuki and Rika spent time together, their laughter and smiles began to erase the shadow of the earlier turmoil. They shared stories and jokes, forging a deeper connection with each passing moment. However, amid their newfound friendship, Yuki couldn't help but feel a growing concern for Zoro, even though she tried her best to set it aside.
Rika, ever observant, noticed the worry in Yuki's eyes. She paused, her curiosity getting the better of her.
"Are you worried about Zoro?" she asked with genuine concern. "Are you friends?"
Yuki hesitated for a moment, realizing that she couldn't hide her concern any longer. She nodded, her voice softening as she replied, "Yes, Rika. Zoro is a friend, and he's been through a lot today. I just hope he's okay."
even if he doesn't want to admit it
Rika's eyes reflected her understanding as she gently squeezed Yuki's hand.
"I'm sure he'll be fine," she reassured Yuki. "You said he's really strong, right? And he has you as a friend, too."
Yuki smiled at Rika's words, grateful for the young girl's comfort. As the hours passed, their bond deepened further, and they both held onto the hope that Zoro would return safely, their newfound friendship a source of strength in uncertain times. As the evening wore on, Yuki's concern for Zoro grew stronger, and she couldn't shake the feeling that she needed to find him. Just when she was contemplating her next move, a surprising revelation unfolded.
The woman who had called for Rika earlier turned out to be her mother. They embraced warmly, and Rika introduced Yuki as her new friend. The mother, grateful for Yuki's help and the bond formed with her daughter, offered to assist Yuki in her quest to locate Zoro.
With a knowing look, Rika's mother leaned in closer to Yuki and whispered, "There's a secret passage hidden in this bar that leads directly to the marine base. It's used by those who need to travel discreetly."
Yuki's eyes widened in surprise and gratitude. She nodded in appreciation and replied, "Thank you so much. I need to find Zoro and make sure he's safe."
Yuki took a deep breath and then addressed Rika's mother with sincerity, "Mrs. Johnson, I know this is a bit sudden, but could it be possible for me to sleep over for the night so that I can be well-rested and focused on my search tomorrow?"
"Of course, Yuki. You're always welcome here. We have a spare room, and you can stay as long as you need."
Yuki felt a wave of relief wash over her. "Thank you so much, Mrs. Johnson. I really appreciate it. I promise I won't be a bother"
Mrs Johnson smiled kindly. "No need to worry, dear. We're happy to have you. Make yourself at home, and let us know if there's anything you need."
With her sleeping arrangements settled Yuki felt a renewed sense of determination. She would rest up, gather her strength, and then resume her search for Zoro with even more vigour the next day.

Rika's mother smiled kindly and motioned for Yuki to follow her and Rika. Together, they made their way to the concealed passage, a hidden route that would take Yuki to the marine base where Zoro had gone. As they descended into the dimly lit passage, Yuki felt a sense of determination and hope. With Rika and her mother's help, she was one step closer to reuniting with her friend and making sure he was all right. The narrow passage wound its way beneath the bar, its walls lined with flickering torches that cast dancing shadows. Yuki followed Rika and her mother in near silence, her heart filled with a mixture of gratitude and anxiety.
As they ventured deeper into the hidden corridor, Yuki couldn't help but reflect on the unexpected bond she had formed with Rika and her mother. Their kindness and willingness to help a stranger spoke volumes about the goodness of people, even in uncertain times.
Finally, they reached the end of the passage, and Rika's mother pointed to a concealed door that led directly into the marine base.
"Be careful, dear," she cautioned Yuki. "The marine base can be a dangerous place, but we hope you find your friend safe and sound."
Yuki nodded, her determination unwavering. "Thank you, both of you. I truly appreciate your help."
With a final reassuring smile, Yuki opened the secret door and stepped into the unknown, her heart filled with a mixture of hope and concern for Zoro. As she disappeared into the depths of the marine base, she knew that the unexpected friendship she had found with Rika and her mother had given her the strength to face whatever challenges lay ahead. As Yuki ventured deeper into the heart of the marine base, her heart raced with anxiety, knowing Zoro was imprisoned somewhere within. Finally, she reached a dimly lit courtyard, where she overheard Zoro's voice engaged in conversation with someone she couldn't see.
Her pulse quickened as she caught sight of Zoro, standing tall and seemingly free in the courtyard. However, what truly surprised her was the unexpected figure beside him—a man in a straw hat who seemed to be responsible for Zoro's sudden liberation.
Zoro turned to face Yuki, a look of utter surprise crossing his face when he saw her. Relief washed over her, knowing that her presence had taken him by surprise in the midst of this unexpected rescue.
"Looks like I'm late," Yuki said with a wry smile, acknowledging the turn of events that had caught them both off guard. The man in the straw hat simply grinned in response
"Yuki?" Zoro exclaimed, his surprise evident. "You're here?"
Yuki nodded her expression a mix of relief and determination. "Yes, sir, I came to rescue you."
Zoro was torn between conflicting emotions. On one hand, he was relieved to see Yuki, as he had been worried about her safety. On the other hand, her presence here added even more questions to an already confusing situation.
As Yuki turned to leave, Zoro couldn't help but watch her with a mixture of irritation and something he couldn't quite put his finger on. Maybe it was the fact that she always seemed to get under his skin, or maybe it was something else entirely. One thing was for sure, though – Yuki had a way of making things interesting, whether he liked it or not.
"You coming or are you going to stand there?"
"Yuki," Zoro said, his voice stern, "this is a dangerous situation. I appreciate your intentions, but you should have stayed away from this mess. Why did you come to rescue me."
"Aw, you care" Yuki met Zoro's cold gaze with determination. "No, but seriously I couldn't leave you here, Zoro. I had to make sure you were safe."
The man with the straw hat chuckled as he observed their exchange. sensing the tension between them, decided to speak up "Seems like you two have some catching up to do. I'll leave you to it."
With that, the man turned and walked away, disappearing into the distance.
Yuki approached him with a sly smile. "So, ready for another adventure?" she asked, her eyes gleaming with anticipation. "Time to reclaim your swords."
Zoro's response was curt, his voice cold and devoid of emotion. "Let's go, Yuki. No one crosses me and lives to regret it."
With those words, they embarked on their new quest to retrieve Zoro's stolen swords, fully prepared to confront any challenges that lay ahead.
Yuki glanced at Zoro, her expression unwavering. "So, what's your plan?" she asked, her voice steady and determined.
Zoro's eyes remained fixed on the horizon, his voice as cold as steel. "We don't kill him," he replied tersely.
"I have something else in mind. But he won't get away with this."
With that, the two of them made their way out of the yard. Zoro couldn't help but wonder about the true motivations of Yuki.
