Started a show 3 days ago and I’m very unhealthly hyperfixated

kind of disheartening that the blaseball tag is a bunch of people going "before the fandom is dead...." like speak for yourself i am never going to shut the fuck up about this fucking splort

i get on a conceptual level what tgb is trying to do with this new era; its all happening again, with a bit of a twist, and familiar old faces and game mechanics are being belched from the black hole periodically to introduce things from expansion/discipline. that's, like, fine. or it would be, if the site wasn't so fucking barebones. it has less stuff than early discipline era did; no shop, so no snake oil to work toward, no sense of progression with that. no popups telling you what you won from games you bet on. they only just added post-game summaries earlier, but you still can't see them most of the time unless you are actively watching bcos you just can't go to that tab after all the games are over. no passive income at ALL. its just, frankly, mind boggling how many quality of life features they removed. i really hope they fix it soon, bcos this will contribute to fan burnout more than 24/7/364 games ever could

my husband just listened to me tell him blaseball stories for hours as we did housework

i told so many stories and barely even scratched the surface

every story involved multiple tangents to further explain the story i was telling

and this was just like, Garages stuff

i am going to miss this stupid game so much

But there’s hardly anywhere else to go once she’s here. The surrounding area is endless woods and underbrush crunching under the feet of beasts she doesn’t know how to fight, and she may never know what lies past any of it. So stumble she does, leaving a trail of broken, bloody footprints on the canvas of the earth.

human dimi is the main one I’m leaning towards rn, short for Dimitra. she is a trans girl from Greece who named herself after the DIMI synthesizer and is an audio editing and vintage electronica nerd who had no idea she was signing on to go to Outer Space when she took the job at the station. bird girl dimi is from a parallel universe that sometimes bleeds through because of the Party Crash breaking reality.
