A WIP from the regular part of Inktober I did. This is Taev, an alchemist searching for something in the wide expanse of deserts he calls home.

While I have been primarily living on Instagram (keicaiart) and twitter (caideleh), I’ve been debating coming back to tumblr for a bit now.

There’s a lot of art I’ve done I can’t post here due to the smut ban, but there are a few things I can! This year I completed my first ever Inktober... well, technically Kinktober. And most of it with my Curse of Strahd character, Verity, in very AU situations.

So here’s Day 10: Latex, featuring Verity.

Heyyy I'm at Indy PopCon this weekend, booth #1051! It was a last minute thing off the waitlist so I haven't had a chance to post much about it. #1051 is toward the back by the autographs and main stage, technically in the 'Internet Alley', but there are a lot of artists over here so please come visit us! I've got some Inktober prints, small original watercolours, art cards, buttons, handmade books, and Sunday I will have TEA!

I always end up taking a lot of process photos when I do a piece but never think to share them. Here's the process for my Levi piece, from the first inking to final print product.

Someone on DeviantART commented that I had only posted the original of this on tumblr, but I had never posted the cleaned, extended version I made for prints. So here’s the print-version of the Drarry forehead kiss!

Tonight I guess my brain decided Ballet!Yuuri was a thing I needed to draw. 

In attempts to be better about actually sharing my art in 2017, here’s some digital doodles I finished tonight.  

This is Llŷr, a kid whose parents move around too much, so he struggles connecting with anyone outside of the internet. 

My fiance got me an Ugee tablet for Christmas, so I’ve been playing around with digital work the last week (thought it’s been mostly smut, tbh). It feels like a whole new world, but I’ve been having a lot of fun. Here’s a mostly-sfw sketch of Yuuri in heels and lingerie. 

Days 7 and 8 of Inktober. :) Top is December: Photography senior. Full of anxiety. Is only comfortable looking at the world when it's through the lense of his camera. Creates haunting self portraits that tell more about him than his voice ever could. Bottom is Devereux: Business major (Junior). Good at looking normal, actually a huge nerd. Incredibly smart but has trouble motivating himself. Loves December more than anything in the world and just wants to keep him safe and see him smile. December is one of my fav inktobers so far. I haven't done too much with these two yet, but they'll end up playing a very big role in North's own story.

More Inktober. One of my favourite characters in this story, Jin! I've posted a bit of art of him before. Jin is a first year painting grad whose studio is next to Winter's. He's loud, abrasive, and has very little filter in all aspects of his life. One of Winter's best friends, even if Winter does wish he'd be a bit more quiet with the business he conducts in his studio.

Continued Inktober! Days 4 and 5, Olivia and Emily, roommates to Ashe and North.

Olivia is an illustration junior who delights in what others find terrifying. She’s good friends with Winter and is not-so-secretly rooting for Ashe and Winter to get together. Often the therapist to North during his struggling relationship with Ashe.

Emily is a senior double majoring in business and graphic design. The fourth roommate, but also technically their landlord. Her parents own the apartment building and a lot of other buildings in the city. She plans to take over the business. She has an even worse coffee addiction than Ashe and can often be found on her computer at the local cafe.

Hello! I just wanted to say I really super love the designs of your oc's, ashe and north. I think their designs are so pretty, I hope if you ever write about them you might put it on your blog for others to read? (:

@meredithsperfectpalaceThank you so much for your ask, and your sweet words! I'm happy you like my OCs and their designs. I have written quite a bit with these two already and plan for much more. I'll be writing their story for my NaNoWriMo next month and plan to post excerpts and general tidbits to here as well as some aide stories and additional art. :) Thank you so much for your interest! I can't wait to share more of their story.

I haven’t been posting my Inktobers here, but I’ve been doing them!

Here we have Ashe, the protagonist of my story. Printmaking senior, coffee addict, has a few too many jobs, and is trying to reconcile his growing feelings for the stranger he meets in the stairwell.

Then there’s North, super senior who has no idea what he wants to do in life but just keeps going til something sticks. In love with Ashe despite their strict fwb situation.

Trying to tackle Inktober this year!

My goal is to draw my characters from next month’s Nanowrimo (and to hopefully use in a printed version).

First up we have Winter, a non-binary painting grad student who lives in their studio (literally) and is just trying to get through their last year with as little fanfare as possible.
