so in book 4 while waiting outside the potions classroom harry and draco duel bc draco starts an argument and then insults hermione. then draco lies to snape and says harry just suddenly attacked him for no reason and snape takes a ton of points from gryffindor

and after all this what does harry do? he spends all of potions fantasizing about snape meeting horrible fates. and ... doesn't think anything hostile about draco.

also once they go into class harry notices draco smirking at him and flashing his potter stinks badge at him from all the way across the dungeon. harry why were u staring all the way across the dungeon at draco and then only thinking hostile thoughts about snape even tho draco is the one who caused this situation?

it's almost like what harry feels for snape is pure and simple dislike. but what he feels for draco is a lot more complicated...

Zacharias Smith is in the DA. Harry doesn't like him but he interacts with him a lot. And yet we know so much less about him than we do about Draco. Because Harry never pays attention to him. Which really highlights how different the way he views Draco is. It's so much more than just simple dislike or rivalry.
