Since you guys asked for it, here's a couple of the Defenders of Arcadia models as uploaded by their 3D modeller, Gary Sookdeo! At the time of typing only Jim and Toby are up though given Toby popped out of nowhere it's far from impossible others might too.

Rob Buchanan who also worked on the game has uploaded a few animation tests using the game rigs too. Because of how the videos are embed on artstation have to link them directly so they are Porgon Minion, a Goblin and Corgi Luug. Enjoy!

Question about the second batch though, is the second batch the B-grade jackets? Or will there be more of the proper product for the second batch?

Oh, oh, the second batch is going to be a good quality one.

The first batch is almost ready, and after that I will start the preparations to begin with the second one.

This is only the failed jackets from the first batch, from my old supplier. The actual batch have a higher quality

I'm just imagining douxie having a depression nap in the bookstore in arcadia and waking up to find the rest of the gang there, claire toby and jim, zoe and archie, steve also, they're all just napping in various places around the bookstore bc they Know douxie's having a depression nap but they don't know how to help so they all just go there tg like 'the least we can really do is be there for him' so he wakes up surrounded by his found family

Can we all agree that Hisirdoux is not only interested in musical art, but in all kinds of artistic media, and that during the 900 years he spent wandering the world, he learned all kinds of artistic and bardic activities?

You cannot look at this man and tell me that he does not know how to dance spectacularly. I’m convinced he took classes in so many types of dance that he lost count, and that on more than one occasion he was a participant and member of the Paris Opera, even if he was only a stagehand. This boy knows ballet from its origins, and when he feels overwhelmed, he picks up a pair of slippers and takes a dance class.

Because sometimes you can't express everything in words, and that's why he writes songs. But when even the sonnets and poetic rhymes that accompany the melodies fall short, it's your body that demonstrates the feelings with movement, and that is what we call dance.

You don't need to watch 3Below to understand the plot, Toby is not there, and there are only 10 episodes.

It focus on how trolls and other magic creatures were seen in other centuries, and magic

I have the same problem with Toby, so... I can relate.

I want to start by saying your Trollhunters!AU is absolutely amazing! Second, I would highly recommend you finish the series and watch to two spinoff shows, 3 Below and Wizards. They are both a blast. Don’t watch the movie though, it unfortunately sucks.

I'll be completely honest though I kind of lost interest in continuing after Trollhunters, the 3Below show didn't grab me at all and when I tried to rewatch Trollhunters from the beginning more recently in an attempt to motivate myself to watch those other stuff, a lot of the side characters coughTobyfuckyouTobyyouknowwhatyoudidcough got real annoying to me.

And yeah I heard the movie was ah. Not great. So that also made me lose interest, like what's the point of watching something when you know the resolution isn't gonna be worth it?

As a major trollhunters fat fan, I can tell you the important lore of what you missed in the final series, of TOA (Trollhunters franchise)

WIZARDS.

Remember the waiter who served Claire and Jim on their date night, when Morgana possessed Claire's body? Yes, the same one who introduced Claire to the battle of the bands, when it was the eternal night.

Him.

He.

He is Douxie.

Hisirdoux Hazerdeux Casperan. To be more exact.

The last Merlin's apprentice.

In other words...

He is a Wizard.

An immortal wizard who ha lived over 900 years, waiting for his master to return.

Because he has being alive for a really long period time, fans randomly put him in different time periods, and joke about how he would have react/lived/survived in that situations.

So... If you asked me, who would be Douxie in this AU, I would have answered... Douxie.

He can be introduced to the story as himself and because he is in constant movement (he can not stay in a place for more than 15 years because then people would realize he is not aging), he has moved and lived in practically every part of the world.

He normally follows magic.

And he also has a Shapeshifter dragon.

A black dragon.

Yeah, join the dots. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

For the trollhunters AU, who would be Douxie?

So honestly as we wrote the story that really isn't anywhere we went. When we try to make AU's, it isn't so much "Oh Person A should take the role of Person B!" it's more of "Hey, how would Person A react to being in this situation, what events would transpire and how would the story naturally progress?" Cuz otherwise it's just copy paste same story with the faces of other characters taped on top.

It makes sense for Hiccup to be a troll hunter-- like that isn't so much a character for Hiccup to take place of, it's a title or a role to grow into. And thus it makes sense the guardians would be the ones to train him.

It also makes sense in this kind of world that Jack isn't completely human but he wouldn't be the kind of person to steal someone's life - hence why he's a unique kind of changeling that has his own human form.

As far as Douxie goes, the story took a different turn so there's no one to be that role because that kind of character didn't really show up.

(also I have no idea who Douxie is, I didn't get that far into the franchise xD i stopped watching after season 3 of trollhunters)
